Allison went above and beyond in so many ways. She navigated us through a covid postponement and was constantly a source of calmness and information. She made our wedding vision come to life. It was so comforting knowing that whatever issues or questions might arise, she had them covered. We received so many compliments from our wedding party/guests on her team specifically and their helpfulness, preparedness, and kindness throughout our wedding weekend. I truly can’t thank Forget Me Knot Events and Allison for making our wedding day so flawless and giving us memories to last a lifetime.

We hired Allison as our wedding planner and we couldn't have been happier, not only on the wedding day but also the months preceding. There was no telling what a mess COVID would bring, but my husband and I were determined to go through with our plans, big wedding or small. Allison made countless adjustments on our behalf and always stayed ahead of the game during the planning process, even when it came to switching venues!!! We are so thankful for Forget Me Knot Events & Design! We hired Allison for month-of planning for our July 2020 wedding prior to COVID. Come July and it was our wedding month and we were still navigating COVID regulations. Allison was so great to work with and helped us make our dream wedding come true while keeping our guests and venue safe and healthy. On top of that, Allison thought about every other “what-if” scenario and had a back-up plan for each! Even a plan for rain when there was no rain in the forecast!! But guess what... the day of the wedding we got a few sprinkles and we were SO thankful we had a plan figured out in case the rain continued (thankfully, it didn’t!) Allison and her team made sure our large bridal parties and families were where they needed to be at the right time! That is no easy feat! They also made sure all our decor and personal items were properly packed up at the end of the night and brought to the right location. Allison and her team were seriously our fairy godmothers who made magic happen without us even knowing or seeing (which is exactly what you want on your wedding day!!) and we are SO grateful for them. We were originally planning a large wedding reception at a waterfront venue when the venue cancelled due to COVID. We knew we didn't want to postpone getting married and Allison was quick to recommend intimate locations for our ceremony. We ended up having a small ceremony and reception at my parent's cabin and Allison took care of everything- coordination with photographer, hair/makeup, private chef, floral installation and made sure everything ran smoothly at the event. I didn't have to pay attention to a thing- Allison was already a step ahead of me! I would highly recommend her for her professionalism, attention to detail and, in our case, her ability to be so flexible! Thanks Allison!

I would highly recommend Allison and team at Forget Me Knot events! We had the month of package and she was incredibly helpful for our destination wedding. As most brides do, I had a full Pinterest board of inspiration, but I had no idea how to put it all together. Allison helped my fiancé and I bring our vision to life! My husband and I are so grateful for Allison's help with our beautiful wedding at the West Shore Cafe this July! I would highly recommend Allison's month-of wedding coordination at Forget Me Knot Events. Allison worked and re-worked our "day of" timeline so that it incorporated some last minute changes which provided my fiance and I with much comfort that things would go smoothly. For instance, during our rehearsal, the entire bridal party was uncomfortable with the unexpectedly cold weather outside, and so Allison proposed that we could move the entire dinner/reception the next day from outside (as planned) to indoors. That proved to be a great suggestion and made all our guests more comfortable; she organized the change with the venue and other vendors last-minute and as seamlessly as possible! From being the first one to provide my fiance and I with cocktails after the ceremony, to fixing my wedding dress bustle, to timing the first dance perfectly, Allison was able to perfectly position herself to assist us whenever we needed without being overly intrusive. She and her assistant did a wonderful job, I would highly recommend her services.

Allison did such an amazing job with my wedding! We hired her as the day of coordinator and communication started about 2 months prior to the wedding. From our first conversation I knew she was going to help make the rest of the wedding planning process go smoothly. She is extremely organized and was always available for any questions we had. She created our timeline and made sure everything was where it was suppose to be. I didn't have to worry about a single thing logistically on the day of my wedding which is so important because as the bride I really didn't have time to worry about the details. I am so happy with the hard work Allison put into our wedding and it couldn't have gone any better!

Seeing as our venue was providing the catering and most of the decor, we decided to hire a month-of coordinator instead of a planner for our wedding. Upon reaching out, Allison responded immediately to provide more information on their different services and what to expect with each. She was very responsive to all our questions and her communication skills were exactly what we were looking for as our wedding day wrangler. With the services that we went with, most of the magic started a little over a month before our actual wedding day. Allison collected all our vendor contracts and worked in parallel with our venue event coordinator to ensure that no detail was missed in the planning process. She created our wedding day timeline and communicated with all our vendors directly to make sure everyone was on the same page. Allison reminded us about items we had overlooked and continued to stay in close contact with us leading up to the big day. In addition to running our rehearsal, Allison and her assistant Lindsey were present for our entire wedding day. They worked seamlessly with all our vendors in the set-up of our decor and made sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule. I was able to enjoy the celebration without any worries since I knew they would be able to handle anything that came up. At the end of the night, they helped transport all our decor back to our suite so we would not have to worry about moving it ourselves. Allison's attention to detail and communication skills are truly exceptional. We cannot thank Forget Me Knot enough for their help throughout the entire wedding planning process. It was truly a stress-free experience!

My husband and I could not express how thankful and amazing Allison of Forget Me Knot Events was for our wedding we just had at West Shore Cafe. In January of this year, my fiance and I decided we would like to get married in Tahoe in a short 6 months instead of waiting for the following summer. We knew we would need a creative planner who would help us pull it off since we live in Sacramento. Allison was above and beyond. We had calls with many planners in the Tahoe area, and it was crystal clear to us that Allison was the best. I've planned many large corporate events in my career, and I wanted a full service planner to be make it feel like I wasn't working at planning my own wedding. From selecting our vendors to the teeny tiny details, she made it all a breeze. She was warm, super creative, has amazing taste, extremely organized and she was ready to start planning right away. When we received our mood board to get an idea on our style I immediately knew we made the right choice. She took my very indecisive pinterest board and made something so beautiful and cohesive. I never worried for one second during our wedding planning process and she pulled through in every way. Our wedding day was flawless; it was more than I could have imagined and then some. I can't emphasize it enough, she was worth every single penny and I will forever always be grateful for everything she had planned for us. We received so many compliments on our wedding day details and I wish I could have taken credit for any of it but it was ALL Allison and we've been day dreaming and reliving the day since!

Forget me Knot Events was truly incredible for our July wedding in Squaw Valley!!! Allison was there to help facilitate every step of the way with our "month-of" wedding package, and she was onsite all day on the day-of, along with the other coordinator, Lindsey. Allison was instrumental in communicating with and coordinating all of our vendors and the resort to ensure everything was aligned and organized in advance of the big day. Her help allowed me to free up some of my personal time so I didn't have to call/email and go back and forth with details and questions between all the vendors. I could not recommend Allison and Lindsey from FMKE any higher!! They made our day what it was -- and it was AMAZING!

Our wedding was a large production requiring portable restrooms and backup generator for a remote outdoor historic location. We also threw in a surprise western shootout performance and a surprise dancing flashmob including a live singer. And there was a torrential rainstorm with lightning. Allison was flawless in handling the hurdles and keeping us calm and on schedule. As the bride I was able to let her take the reigns so that I could absorb the beauty of the day. Allison of Forget Me Knot Events and Design felt like part of our family. We highly recommend her services.

Allison was an absolute pleasure to work with. I hired Forget Me Knot Events as a 45-day out planner for my June 2019 wedding - as I enjoyed assisting in the wedding planning process. There is nothing I value more from a vendor than a quick response time, because as we all know as a Bride you think the entire world revolves around you (I mean it does right?), and FMKE always responded promptly (24 hours or less) with the answers or support I needed. Allison even agreed to meet with us in person 6 months out because Tahoe was a destination for us and the MOB and MOG insisted on it. Allison is kind, hilarious, knowledgeable, but most importantly organized and direct. Our day would not have come together without her guidance and involvement. Our wedding was truly magical, and I owe it all to Forget Me Knot events. Allison and Donna are wizards of the wedding world (cheesy I know, but that's what they are) and they made the unimaginable possible! Our "winter wonderland" wedding turned into a full-blown blizzard just in time for our guests to begin arriving. Cue bridal panic. Within a matter of days we needed to switch our outdoor ceremony to an indoor ballroom location (much to our dismay). However, we thankfully had hired the dream-team of Allison and Donna, and they created a beautiful ceremony setting that was beyond what I could have imagined. They were on the phone with rental companies, making last minute trips to Homegoods, and updating our vendors with new details all within 24 hours of our wedding. Obviously this could have been a stressful situation for any bride, but with their help I honestly felt so at ease. On the day of the wedding my husband and I were so thankful for the constant support of these incredible wedding planners. From helping me to re-sew my bustle when it fell due to my aggressive dancing, to maintaining the pacing of the night, to making sure our guests had to-go cake, they were there every step of the way. I hired Forget Me Knot Events & Design to be my "Month of Coordinator" and I couldn't recommend them enough! So professional, efficient, and full of great advice and tips to help you along the way. I felt like Donna and Allison went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was the day of my dreams, and it absolutely was!! It was well worth the investment, and I suggest that every Bride gets a wedding planner (at least for the last month and day of!). Donna and Allison removed all of the stress and worry off of my shoulders and I got to enjoy my wedding day as a Bride- happy and excited as one could be!

I could not have pulled off my perfect wedding day without Allison! Her creativity, attention to detail, and strong personality were invaluable to me throughout the planning process and especially on the day of my wedding. We had our wedding on top of a mountain 3 hours from our home in Reno which didn’t make anything easy, but from the very beginning she understood my vision and helped me to achieve everything I wanted. When I had difficulty getting what I was after with my florist, Allison stepped in and helped so much by offering new and creative suggestions based on all her past experience. Absolute must to have Allison for your special day! I live in Chicago and planned my proposal in Lake Tahoe and nothing was short of perfection. Allison is so great to work with, and was constantly in communication with me for many months, and she really made me feel like she was my friend. We threw a boho-styled picnic at sunset located on Sand Harbor Beach, and with Allison's expertise and creativity we were able to make everything come to life and enjoy the moments of that evening without having to worry about a single thing. I had everything in my head planned out to a T, with multiple Pinterest boards for the exact look I wanted. I have to give Allison so much credit for being so patient and understanding of my dream proposal, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Donna was incredible from start to finish. She is patient, professional, detail-oriented and a good communicator. Our wedding was perfect! She worked collaboratively with all of our vendors to put together a detailed-timeline of our big day and made sure to keep everything on track. I cannot imagine my wedding day without Donna and her assistant from Forget Me Knot; my husband and I are so grateful to them! Recently, I was a guest at my cousin's wedding and she said to me, "I don't understand how you looked so calm during your wedding day!!" I basically said, "Um, because I had Donna." If anything went wrong during my wedding day, my husband and I were not aware of it, nor were our parents or bridal party. Donna helps make the process leading up to the wedding smooth and painless. On the day of the wedding, she even had every emergency kit item you can think of, including deodorant (which I needed)! NEW BFF Donna had me at Hello. I was able to observe her calm and professional demeanor during another wedding about a year before my own daughters' wedding. I spoke to her immediately afterward and it was like chatting with an old girlfriend. She was generous with good advice (florals) and I hadn't even hired her yet! Weddings have thousands of little details. I should know, as I have been working as a coordinator with brides for 28 years. Finally, it was my turn to be Mother of the Bride. I only had this one chance, so I was going to hire a "day-of" planner as I have experience with the planning aspects. Looking back, Donna was the single BEST decision we made for the entire wedding! Not only did I sit back and enjoy every second of my daughter's large formal wedding, but I didn't even have the urge at any moment to butt in and take charge. What a priceless gift!! I had hired her for just the "day-of", but some staff changes with a vendor popped up about a week before the wedding! Yikes! I couldn't sleep at night! Donna was so gracious and had the connections to smooth out all the wrinkles which resulted in a stress-free perfect day! I love her sense of humor too. Just such a joy to work with!! (maybe she will be my facebook friend ?) Donna has an excellent eye for detail and can make good last minute decisions on her own (yes, the cake table looks much better over there). Such an important trait for a planner, as I make those same on the spot decisions at almost every wedding!! She has an amazing memory and manages to keep all her weddings separate. Forget Me Knot Events/Donna Putnam served as the wedding consultant and “Month of” wedding planner for our daughter’s July wedding and 200 guest reception at The Resort at Squaw Creek. Simply put, Donna is outstanding. She is exceptionally talented, exceedingly professional, super connected in the Reno-Tahoe area, knowledgeable, experienced, organized, insightful and truly caring about the success of the event and her clients’ satisfaction. Forget me Knot Events did an amazing job with my wedding. I was so stressed the day of my wedding. I was constantly hoping the staff would have dinner on time, the decorations were set up correctly, and the rental company delivered everything on time. Once Donna and her team showed up, everything ran smoothly. I was no longer stressed and could enjoy my wedding. They did a beautiful job setting everything up and making sure I had everything I needed. I couldn't have done it without them.

Donna is the absolute best of the best! I hired her for my day-of planner, and I couldn't imagine not having her to ensure my day went perfectly. She took control about a month out so I didn't worry if all the details were in order and vendors were properly in place and communicated with. I previously worked with her on company events, so when it came time for my wedding, she was my first call! She has excellent working relationships with vendors across the board, which took away any stress I would have had. On the day of, you would have guessed she was J-Lo, with her & her assistant executing every detail, timing, and logistics! ;) Don't hesitate on hiring Donna- it can be easily budgeted & she makes all the difference so you can just enjoy your special day!

We decided to use Donna with Forget Me Knot Events and picked her day of planning package. We went with Donna because she had done many weddings at the venue that we picked to have our wedding at, and the venue had her on their preferred vendor list. Donna was good to work with and was very affordable for the Lake Tahoe area. When we first met her at the walk through of the venue she was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable about the wedding and the venue. She always stayed in contact with me and I was always able to get a hold of her. On the day of the wedding everything was perfect. Her detailed day of timeline and directing us throughout the event was such a help. She was very flexible and was able to accommodate us with whatever we needed for the day of our wedding. Her and her assistant also did a great job setting up the wedding venue with our décor and cleaning up our wedding décor items and keeping them organized. However, I do wish she was a little bit more thorough with contacting the other vendors and double checking on rental contracts and other contracts that I had made before the wedding. I felt like a few minor things came up with other vendors that she could have handle better then myself, since it was so close to the wedding. Overall I would recommend Donna with Forget Me Knot Events for those getting married in the Lake Tahoe/Reno area, she helped our wedding day be a less stressful and more enjoyable for everyone.

Believe the hype!!! We feel so fortunate to have worked with Donna for our Reno wedding. She met and exceeded our (admittedly high!) expectations in every single respect. Hands down BEST wedding planner there is! Now I may not have a lot of experience with other wedding planners seeing as how I've only been married just this once ;) but Donna is the most buttoned up, organized and thorough person you could ever want to help with your wedding... even for a type A personality like me. Donna and I hit it off immediately when we did our in person meeting and my fiance (at the time) was a huge fan as well! She was dedicated to making sure that our vision came to fruition without any false promises. One thing I loved most about working with Donna is that she is a realist and extremely experienced. When my head was in the clouds with ideas, she helped to narrow them down to ones we could actually accomplish without sacrificing the creativity. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this. I have to be completely honest in that I probably gave Donna a run for her money with my plethora of vendors and many moving parts, but she nailed every single detail and made our special day something we will never forget. It felt so true to us as a couple and we have Donna and her team to thank for that. The other great thing about Donna is that she shared in the excitement of our wedding. Whenever Nate and I came up with a new idea she was right there with excited to see how we could make it work and in many case making the final plan even better. She was very cautious of our budget and provided options to fit that. And I have to talk about Donna just as a human being. It's important to have someone who is great at their job, but for Nate and I it was also very important to have someone we liked, trusted and got along with. Donna is hilarious and helped to ease a lot of stressful conversations and decisions with witty comments and lighthearted banter. She was easy to talk to and was very respectful of all the different input from myself, Nate, my parents, etc... She is just so sweet and caring and you can tell she loves what she does!

I cannot say enough good things about Donna and ForgetMeKnot Events!! We recently worked with Donna on our Lake Tahoe Wedding and the whole event went perfectly. Donna was extremely organized and responsive leading up to the event. She had great opinions when I asked her for advice or feedback - I really trusted her throughout the whole process. When my daughter & I began our search for a wedding planner, I was wary. This was to be a destination wedding at Lake Tahoe. I live in Texas, and my daughter lives in D.C. How could we ever find someone who could work with us and our hectic schedules to plan a wedding in another state? After calling several planners and being totally discouraged, we were lucky enough to find THE wedding planner of all wedding planners - Donna Putnam! She was very easy to talk to, and made us so comfortable from the initial conversation. She is meticulous, and helped us find the perfect venue, photographer, florist, makeup & hair people,DJ, party rental place, table linens, etc. For an entire year prior to the wedding, she kept us updated with spreadsheets. She answered any and all questions (no matter how dumb) and always had great suggestions! She is a true gem, with a great sense of humor. Such a positive person and her eye for design is spectacular. The day prior to the wedding, she made my daughter feel so comfortable. She walked us through the entire rehearsal, never rushing. The day of the ceremony, she was there with a big smile and a truly caring attitude. I do not know what I would have done without all her guidance. When my daughter came up to me after the ceremony and said, "Mom, I feel like a princess! This day has been perfect!" I knew that I owed it all to Donna. Donna was a delight to work with in planning and executing my wedding. I work as a project manager in Washington, D.C. and was concerned that I could not manage my Lake Tahoe wedding in person. I spoke with a few other vendors, but when I talked to Donna and then saw her detailed day-of project plans and budget sheets, I knew I would be in project management heaven. She kept to just the right amount of detail without being too tedious. Following a conversation about how much input I wanted in to certain aspects of the wedding planning process, Donna helped me find vendors and a venue I had not even researched on my own. She knows who is who in the Lake Tahoe and Reno area, and she was able to secure several discounts because she know what to ask. I loved the amount of follow-up emails she sent (not a ton but enough to keep us on track) and the detailed budget sheet she kept updated throughout the process. We had most of the details sorted out many months ahead of time, and I came to the wedding as relaxed as a bride could be. If there were any problems on my wedding day, I didn’t know about them. Donna kept the ceremony and reception flowing and was on hand for vendors. Honestly I do not know what I would have done without her and would recommend her highly to any bride in the Reno/Tahoe area. Her services were worth every penny and more.

Donna Putnam was absolutely amazing! My husband and I highly recommend her, as we were extremely pleased with her services! She is very approachable, creative and professional. I live in Texas and married in Tahoe, so using someone like Donna was extremely important. Every single one of our vendors and the wedding site were all also very pleased with her and her assistant. I'm sure the job can be stressful, however she does the job without ever seeming frazzled or frustrated. It is clear that she loves being a wedding planner! 1 year later and I'm finally getting around to my review! I hired Donna for 'day of' wedding coordination and she was just amazing. I didn't have a wedding coordinator at first, and when it got to be about a month and a half out from the big day, I realized there were a lot of logistical things coming up in the next month as well as on the wedding day itself that I didn't want to delegate to my friends and family - I just wanted them to have a good time! From the very first phone call I had with Donna, I felt SO taken care of and wanted to hug her through the phone for how relieved she made me feel! She went above and beyond what I ever imagined a 'day of' coordinator to be. She helped me with my timeline, coordinated everything with all of my vendors for that month through the actual day, ran my rehearsal, set up all my decorations on wedding day, brought all of my gifts/cards up to my room that night, and countless other little things that made everything run smoothly. The week leading up to my wedding, I was really nervous about the weather and kept going back and forth with my event rental vendor about whether or not I wanted a tent - Donna went above and beyond in this situation, giving me her professional opinion on what to do, even calling the event rental company multiple times after I kept flip-flopping my decision and was too scared to call myself! If you don't have a wedding coordinator, I highly recommend getting one, specifically Donna - she's worth it!

If you are getting married in the Tahoe area - hire Donna! We live in San Francisco, and we had over 200 guests travel to Tahoe for our big day. Needless to say, finding a great local planner was really important. She kept everything extremely well-organized, while being professional, responsive and friendly to us, our guests and our vendors. She offered helpful suggestions and solutions for last minute changes and she managed all the behind-the-scenes coordination that allowed us to simply enjoy the day.

I don't even know where to begin, Donna is my fairy wedding angel! I don't know how I could have possibly planned a wedding as I don't know the ins and outs like Donna does. She is extremely organized, professional, quick to respond to my emails, and has a great sense of humor to boot! She made a very detailed budget for us, all of the spreadsheets she made (and there were a lot!) helped me stay organized and calm during what can be a very stressful time! All of her recommendations (Dj, florist, etc.) turned out beautifully. You just can't go wrong with her. My day was perfect and ran smoothly, and I owe it all to her.

From the first conversation with Donna, I knew that my wedding was in the most capable hands. I envisioned a white winter wedding in Tahoe and Donna came up with the most creative and classy execution of my idea. Her choices of photography, floral, and catering vendors were spot on and fit everything that I hoped for. And she is a master problem solver…because there was a power outage the night before the wedding, the wrong colored linens were delivered. I never discovered this detail until halfway through the reception!!! Donna has such an eye for detail and no one had any idea that the wrong thing was delivered. Donna Putnam recently served as wedding coordinator for our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding at Lake Tahoe's West Shore Cafe & Inn. We live in the Bay Area and so all the wedding planning happened via email and phone. Donna was prompt, friendly and professional at all times. She has a real gift for being extremely organized and proactive while also being truly sensitive, flexible and responsive to our questions and concerns. A remarkable skill set! She also worked well throughout the process with the venue and other vendors, coordinating and communicating in a way that was effective and friendly. Her ongoing and evolving time line gave us a real sense of comfort and control! Both at the rehearsal and the day of wedding, Donna’s services were invaluable. At the rehearsal, she was very diplomatic and efficient at managing all our overexcited family and friends without ever seeming bossy or impatient. She unobtrusively worked with the officiant and venue employees to clarify specific points about the event details that we would never have thought of. She was even super sweet and humorous with our young, rambunctious ring bearer and flower girls. The day of the wedding she seemed to be in about a dozen places at once! She oversaw vendor deliveries, got people where they needed to be, kept track of the timing, all the while smiling and seeming completely relaxed. She even produced a needle and thread at the last minute for a loose button on the wedding dress! Our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding day was exactly what they’d envisioned, and my husband and I were able to enjoy being guests at the event rather than harried hosts. I wholeheartedly recommend Donna to anyone planning a wedding in the Lake Tahoe area. Donna was my "month of" wedding planner for my wedding this October at West Shore Cafe. She listened carefully to all of my preferences, ideas, and concerns, and she was very quick to respond to calls and emails. In the last week before the wedding, Donna was very helpful with last minute changes. Early on she also provided very helpful suggestions for vendors I had not yet booked (Lake DJ!). Personality-wise, I found Donna very friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic, and she was not overly bossy during the rehearsal or wedding (something my fiancé had concerns about). In summary, hire Donna as your wedding planner. You won't be disappointed.

We hired Donna for "day of the wedding". She handled everything for us and overall, helped me relax. I didn't have to worry about the rest of my vendors on the day. She made sure everyone was where/when they were supposed to be and that everything looked beautiful. I honestly think that I would've lost my cool if I didn't have a professional handling all the little things. After getting engaged, you think the big stuff is what is going to make you lose your cool, but its actually the little things that you don't even think about; that's where Donna comes to the rescue. I truly believe she went above and beyond in making sure that my day went as smooth as possible. She took the stress out of the emotionally charged day. The only thing she wanted me to be thinking about was my husband to be. She wanted me to enjoy every moment and that meant so much to me that I was able to do that. I have always gone by the quote "design your dream marriage, not your dream wedding" I had never been the girl who would dream about her wedding, nor had I ever planned anything further than what I was going to do the following day. No, my husband is the planner, and I'm the one who hopes everything happens for the best. While my husband was deployed, I knew I had to ask for help so we would be able to have our special day planned when he returned. I have known Donna for many years, and I knew without a doubt that she would be the one who I would contact. Donna is not only thoughtful, caring, organized and talented, she is reassuring, and listens to visions and carries them out seamlessly. My husband and I had a very inflexible budget and she worked very diligently helping us fit in all of the pieces. Those pieces included fragments of ideas that I had found off of pinterest that I wanted included in the wedding, with a difficult ceremony offsite of where the reception would be held. Donna was able to take my scattered vision and turn it into something off of a movie! Walking into my own wedding I couldn't catch my breath. Donna was a guest at my wedding, and her assistant took care of everything during the reception. This included bringing a plate of appetizers to my husband and I when we didn't have time to try any, and never letting our drinks run out! I didn't even know that kind of thoughtfulness was included. I could go on for pages about how wonderful Donna and Forget Me Knot Events is, but if you're like me and skim through reviews know this; Donna's vision is timeless, she is seamless with putting everything together and I did not worry or hesitate for a moment trusting her with my entire (15-hour long) day. Donna and her company, Forget Me Knot Events, put together such an amazing day for my daughter and her new husband. Every detail was handled so perfectly. She took Erica's ideas and made them a beautiful reality. I know the amount of time and effort it took to put together the reception and we could not have done anything as beautiful as is it was without her talent and vision. She took a blank canvas and made it into a work of art. From the Décor to the detailed timeline to the execution of the moment by moment plan she made the actual day seamless and a day to celebrate. Donna is very knowledgeable when it comes to choosing the right vendors and communicating all of the details to them. We did not have to worry about anything and that made for a perfect day. I wish I could give more stars. I cannot say enough about how AMAZING Donna is and what a fantastic job she did coordinating our wedding. She went above and beyond so many times throughout the months leading up to the wedding and especially on the day of. As an example I totally forgot to bring over our cutting cake from our hotel room. Donna noticed it was missing and said not to worry about it- we gave her our room key and she went over and got it for us. Then at the end of the night, we get back to our hotel room and she had already left for us in our room many of our gifts, cards, and decorations. I honestly have no idea how she is so organized, and that's coming from someone who feels like a pretty organized person. Using her was the best decision we made when planning our wedding.

Donna Putnam is a very nice professional planner. She knows her business well. She first talks to the couple to find out what they want for their day. She sends a time line with updates that helps to keep them organized and not overwhelmed. Donna recommended vendors to choose from and coordinated everything. She handled the rehearsal and of course was at the wedding with her assistant. She also organized and picked up the personal items, gifts etc. and put them in our room. I highly recommend Donnna she takes care of so many things and helps take the stress out about day.

Donna and her team were absolutely amazing for my husband and I's special day at Edgewood, in Lake Tahoe. Donna was super organized and listened to everything that we wanted and envisioned leading up to the wedding day. She worked great with all of our vendors, including our florist and photographer. The bride and groom had fallen in love with Lake Tahoe on an earlier visit and wanted to get married there. The guest list including the wedding party was under twenty people because they wanted to keep the event intimate. I was indecisive initially on whether or not I wanted to spend the money on a wedding planner. Looking back now, Donna was worth every penny and then some. Despite how organized and prepared I like to be, I would have lost my mind if Donna wasn’t there. We hired Donna after we had already picked a wedding venue. A few months into planning our venue fell through (every brides nightmare!). Donna told me not to worry and was prepared the next day with a list of alternatives for me. Another addition to having Donna was that she has an amazing reputation within the community, so the new venue was more than accommodating to me and my family. She really understood what we wanted and helped us create it. She was professional, organized, creative, flexible and attentive; all qualities that you want in someone who is planning one of the most memorable days of your life. The wedding was beautiful, our guests loved it, and most importantly, my husband and I truly enjoyed every minute of it!
