Sarah and Melissa were amazing . They were punctual, friendly, and very experienced in their field. You can trust that they will do a beautiful job. I literally wish I could hire them for every special event! Sabrina was easy to communicate with. She provided answers to all my questions and was very accommodating.
the best experience I had in a boutique/dress salon ever. the staff is wonderful and so sweet and professional. they helped me make my bridal vision a reality and dream come true. they were able to customize my dress to exactly what I wanted and more. their seamstresses are meticulous to detail and the sweetest women. nobody does it better than them!
Ok so I bought an Allure Bridal Dress from Dama Bianca in fairfield, ct in april 2013 and had to pick up my dress in oct because they were closing. Save by the best team ever Doug and Rick took care of alterations and my veil. My mom was able to get her Montage dress and all accessories with them. They are wonderful, so many dress to choose from!
This place is a hidden treasure! I agree with the positive bride, I had a GREAT EXPERENCE at Allure Bridal! The staff at Allure Bridal, went above and beyond my expectations.
(never rude)
After being abused and mistreated by other local bridal shops, it was refreshing to have professional and creative people from Allure Bridal staff helping me find the PERFECT BRIDAL GOWN!!
I don't know what people where rude to the other bride's reviews, but maybe they were rude and their rudeness was just reflected back onto them.
Because the staff could not have been more nicer or accommodating to me and my family.
My dress arrived on time and the seamstress Meredith fitted my dress to my body like a glove. (she also does custom work, like making cap sleeves out of the trimmed off fabric and made me a little ring pillow out of the left over fabric-genius)
I also ordered my invitations form Allure Bridal for my wedding. They came out perfect as ordered and it took only 5 days to get them.
I find in life, when you walk into something with a positive attitude it will be a much more pleasant experience.
Treat people the way you would want to be treated.
Good luck to all brides, I highly RECOMMEND Allure Bridal to all !!!! "Be your own judge"
I was very intimidated about wedding gown shopping. I called Allure, and he took me without an appointment as he had time in the middle of the day. He was very understanding and listened to me about what I thought I wanted- and helped me to figure out what it was I actually wanted. He helped me try on several gowns. When I selected one I felt I really loved, but wasn't sure (because I was alone and wanted my friends/family to see also), he let me put the dress on hold with a deposit. I was able to come back and try it on again and felt great about selecting it. The experience was really nice, I felt like the guy seemed tired from working all day at the point I saw him, but he was genuinely interested in making sure I chose a dress that I loved- not just selling me something. He also wasn't a snob, like so many other places *cough*davidsbridal*cough* were. Plus my gown was on UNREAL sale, and I paid less than half of retail price.
I hate writing bad reviews but having gone through the wedding process and knowing how hard it is to pick your vendors, I feel I should help all other brides coming this way. So here you go -
Bought my dress here mainly because they had a Maggie Sottero trank show and offered a discount on the dress i wanted. Well, seems like sometimes it's better to pay a little more and get a great service....Rude staff which told me they would take an appointment only if you intend to buy?! They forgot an appointment (had to drive an hour to the store to find that out unfortunately), inaccurate information on delivery dates - my dress arrived in 3 months late. Inaccurate quotes on alterations - it increased from $275 to $600(!). The person working there basically said that the seamstress and them are separate. Anyhow I got them done at another shop for half of that price. Originally they told me it would be a simple alteration, then after the dress arrival it was all of a sudden a huge alteration. So my question is why would you give quotes in first place if you don't know anything and don't coordinate that with your in-store seamstress? So unprofessional. Bridesmaid dresses were overpriced in comparison to other places I have checked out. Just tried to focus on how beautiful my dress was and forget that I shopped for it here.
First, they're not professional, but were unfortunately the only shop in the area that carried the designer of my dress. They specialize more in pageant and prom dresses than wedding dresses and they seem to be unorganized. When I called asking if my dress had come in, they kept telling me they'd let me know (they were off on delivery date by weeks) and then I found out it had been sitting there a while and they didn't even call me! The only good thing was they measured me well so I didn't need a ton of alterations. However, when I tried on my dress, I noticed the front was a little short... they told me all I had to do was steam it and it would fall. WRONG. My dress was manufactured wrong, which is why it was readily available from the designer! On top of that, their seamstress was going on maternity leave and they had no backup. I received my dress in January for my June wedding and they wanted me to get fitted right away in January before she left for their convenience. And they told me this AFTER I already purchased the dress from them! Deceptive. Luckily the shop I got my bridesmaids dresses from was able to recommend a wonderful seamstress. Also, when I picked up my dress I was with my mom and aunt and I wanted to try it on one more time real quick... they told me they had to eat and they didn't want to. They acted like I disrupted them even though I told them the time I was coming in. Rude and not a good experience. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Doug could not have been more helpful when I called in looking for a specific style lace dress. He was direct and up front about what he had and didn't have on the phone. Low and behold he had the dress I loved online and I almost fell over when I heard how reasonable the price was! I had expected it to cost a few thousand more than what is cost. Meredith was amazing when it came to alterations. I recommend checking them out if you are in the NY/CT area. It was worth a short drive from Westchester. Lace options were very limited however the one they had was perfect for my destination wedding.
