Where do I even begin with Stephanie and the Alpenglow Events team. I cannot imagine putting our wedding weekend together without having Stephanie by my side as our wedding planner and her team there to coordinate the day-of. Our wedding was no...t an easy one – we had two locations (one for the ceremony, one for the reception) 30-minutes apart that both needed to be decorated, over 150 people to transport via four shuttles, seven different vendors arriving at various times, boxes upon boxes of decorations, games, and little things to make the wedding more “us”, and a very tight schedule. And yet, despite all that complexity, I never had to lift a finger on my wedding day. Jeremy and I were able to relax with our friends and family and truly soak in the morning. We arrived to a fully decorated ceremony/dinner venue that was exactly how I had imagined. Stephanie and her team missed no detail (even the silly ones), and the venue was absolutely perfect. On top of that, we had to deal with a Colorado summer storm, but Stephanie ensured the bar got drinks into people’s hands while we waited for a clear 20-minute window that she found on the weather radar. Within minutes, her team was wiping down chairs and guiding people outside, so we could kick-off my dream outdoor ceremony. Following the ceremony, she and her team were on top of ensuring that Jeremy and I were taken care of (and finding time to eat), as well as keeping the event flowing so that the entire group was ready to board the reception shuttles on time. Upon arriving at the reception venue, the items I had wanted to be transported from the ceremony to the reception managed to beat us there and were already set up along with our 150-person champagne toast. I later heard that she and her team ran into a few snags along the way, but I never knew about them on the day-of, as they took care of everything without me noticing.
I cannot stress to future brides how incredibly organized, prepared, and fun Stephanie and her team are, and how much easier and more memorable they make your big day. I engaged with Stephanie 9 months before the wedding (as it was a 3-day endeavor), but even if you just work with them for your day-of, you will be so grateful that you did. We actually moved our entire wedding from Crested Butte to Breckenridge/Silverthorne 6 months before the wedding, even changing our reception venue and completely shifting our wedding logistics 90 days out. Yet, Stephanie never skipped a beat. She continuously pivoted with us, and helped ensure no detail was forgotten. She gently pushed back on me when the things I envisioned were truly not realistic, yet never said “no” and instead always offered other ways to accomplish what I had in mind. That said, no idea was too ridiculous, and she was on-board with finding a way to pull-off everything we threw her way. Additionally, Stephanie also runs an event rentals company, so is a one-stop shop for your décor and furniture, and is both supportive of building our your vision as well as full of ideas to make it even more special.
