Taylor was the absolute best. She asked great questions and did an amazing job trying to figure out how to best capture the vision that my husband and I had for our big day. She was attentive to every detail and took such good care of us. Our day was beautiful and so special, in large part because of Taylor’s involvement. I highly recommend Taylor to any couple. Regardless of your vision, I and confident that she will make your day uniquely yours and beyond amazing.

Taylor helped make our dream wedding happen. There were many factors and variables due to us having it on some remote land that my Husband's family owned. I was living in CA while she helped plan our wedding in NC. She did it with ease and communicated with all vendors/etc when as I was unable to fly there for everything. I would 10/10 recommend her. It started raining the day of and she made all the arrangements that she needed to without making me or my husband stressed in any way. As if that's not enough she is one of the most genuine people i know and truly cares about her brides!

Taylor is the best! We knew from our initial meeting that we were going to hire her! We had an outdoor tented reception on my in-laws property and the first time that she came over to take a look, she was able to tell us things that we were going to need to do to ensure our reception ran smoothly. She immediately had a vision of the placement of our tent so our guests would be able to see the sunset behind the band while they were playing during our reception. We were blown away and when she left we both looked at each other and said, “we would have never thought of that!” From there, Taylor took everything by the reigns with a very detailed timeline of when we needed to make decisions on various parts of the wedding. The one thing that we both loved about Taylor is how calm she constantly remained about everything even when we were starting to get a little nervous about something. The best decision that we made for our wedding was hiring Taylor of Alyson Taylor Events and we guarantee you, you will not be disappointed!

I can't imagine going through the wedding planning process without Taylor. We had somewhat of a roller coaster ride while planning our wedding with a change of date due to my now husband's deployment and a last minute change of venue. Finding Taylor was such a blessing and made what could have been a very stressful process fun again. She took the visions I had in my head and made them into a reality. Every new idea or vendor she introduced was completely in line with my tastes and I had 100% confidence in everything she did. Arriving at the venue on the day of the wedding, I was in complete awe of every detail. I would highly recommend Taylor and all of the services she offers to anyone planning a wedding. She was the best investment we made.

Having Alyson Taylor Events as my wedding planner was the best decision I made while wedding planning! Both my fiancé and I were living overseas, in different countries, and Taylor Batt managed to create and make reality the wedding of our dreams. Every guest at my wedding commented on how every detail was perfect...from the customized decorations that Taylor helped craft, to her figuring out how to get a hot air balloon at my cocktail hour! Taylor and Alyson Taylor Events made my sister's wedding day a breeze! It was so helpful to be able to rest assured that everything would be taken care of. Taylor came up with great ideas that set Maggie's wedding apart from all others! She was meticulous in her planning and it was a pleasure to work with her. She come HIGHLY recommended!!

Working with Taylor was an absolute dream! Owning a business, working a full time job, and being in school, I knew I needed help to plan our wedding and Taylor was the perfect choice. She kept me sane and focused throughout even when our rehearsal dinner venue announced they were closing and we ended up with 10 inches of snow the weekend of the big day. Her eye for design, attention to detail, and creativity helped to inform and guide every decision we made with beautiful results. She made even the smallest of tasks like picking out napkins or designing place cards fun and engaging. I could not have nor would I have wanted to do it without her. We had the absolute best day in large part thanks to Taylor and I cannot say thank you enough for everything she did!

Taylor was simply the most supportive, flexible, and hardworking coordinator I could have asked for. She truly listened and problem-solved with my husband and I when we expressed our desire for a "non-conventional" wedding that fit our style and budget.

I could not be more thankful for my wedding planner, Taylor. Not only did she become an incredible friend in the process, but is also one of the most thorough, reliable individuals I have ever met. I wanted to do some of the planning myself, and Taylor was amazing at guiding me through the steps! She had a resource or vendor for everything I was interested in doing for my wedding. She was extremely conscientious of everything I wanted to try and incorporate while also helping us figure out how to do it within our budget. I cannot speak more highly of this woman and her business!

We are so so grateful that Taylor put in her expertise to our day! There were several details that we would have neglected had she not brought them to our attention, she always had a backup plan waiting and everything we wanted got done. She was patient and loving working up to the day and made this whole planning process a piece of cake - even from afar. We didn't know what hiring a "long distance" coordinator would look like but we are so pleased and don't think we could have made a better decision than Taylor.

Wow, where to start on how incredible Taylor with Alyson Taylor Events is. Taylor is one of the warmest individuals I have ever met. She is someone you meet and instantly want to be best friends with. Her value as a wedding planner far surpassed the typical job description. She was the perfect sounding board when I was overwhelmed or needed advice. She made me comfortable throughout the planning process and assured me that it would all be wonderful. She earned my trust and it was this trust that allowed me to not worry about the small details throughout the process and the day of the wedding. Taylor had her work cut out for her at our wedding. We made the call to not have a tent placed at our venue on the Thursday before our event, when there was only a 10% chance of rain. Well, it rained and then it poured. I was told by friends, the venue, and our caterer that Taylor set everything up for our reception with all of our details, pulled them back in when it started to rain, and repeated three times during the different downpours that occurred. Needless to say, nothing went according to plan. Through it all, I was comforted knowing I could turn to Taylor and she would take care of it. To say that Taylor is one of the hardest working individuals I have ever met, would be true, but it wouldn't paint the picture of what that really means. My dad, who is a former NFL football player, said he has never seen someone run as fast as Taylor did when she would fly up and down the flights of stairs at Tredegar while contending with the weather on our wedding day. Because of the weather, we ended up only being at our reception for an hour and had a completely modified timeline, that Taylor created on the fly, but successfully managed all of our dances and cake cutting before the next downpour. We moved our reception from Tredegar to The Jefferson, through Taylor and our cater's coordination. At the end of the night, my husband and I found 12 bags of food in our hotel room - it was all the food we hadn't been able to enjoy at our reception! Not knowing what to do with it, we ended up taking a field trip to our house and dropping it off. When we arrived at the house we realized that there had been much activity there as well. Taylor had orchestrated, with the help of our family, all of the unused beer and wine that we had bought for our reception to be taken back to our house. She must have been at our house until 1 or 2 in the morning getting it all unloaded because there was a dry spot where her car had been when we pulled up to drop off the food. What overwhelms me with this story is that at our brunch the next morning, hosted at our house, Taylor showed up and went to town with the beer and wine. She organized and labeled it so that we would be able to return the thousands of dollars in alcohol that hadn't been touched. She didn't have to do that, no one expected that of her, but I think it a true testament of what an incredibly hard worker she is.
