g process. So often we would get the question from friends and family “does wedding planning have you stressed?” Every time we would say the wedding planning was the least stressful part of our lives…with a trusted partner such as her, we were free to focus on our careers and planning our new family. In particular things that she did well include: - Bringing my wife’s vision to life - Sticking to and tracking our budget, deposits, and payment timelines - Generating creative ideas to make our wedding unique - Staying organized through all the details 11/10 would recommend 😊

ay wedding at home and could not have done it without her. Friends and family have said numerous times "event of the year", "nothing like it", "it was magical"... and on and on. We cannot thank her enough for seeing through our vision of a fairytale day!

leading up to the wedding day because of how organized and well planned out she was. We cannot recommend her enough!

would be overwhelming if we didn’t get help coordinating everything. From the first meeting we knew Alyssa was the perfect person to help us bring everything we’ve been picturing to life. Throughout the process, she gave us a variety of recommendations on style and vendors, kept us organized, scheduled meetings with vendors around our schedule, worked through contracts, and kept us on track with our budget. Alyssa did all of this seamlessly and efficiently. Leading up to the wedding and on the big day everyone kept saying I was so relaxed and calm - that’s because I knew Alyssa had everything covered and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Alyssa is truly the best and we can’t recommend her enough!!

e into a beautiful dream. Our wedding was day filled with many moving parts and she made everything work out seamlessly! Even through the rain and wind, Alyssa made our day perfect. She has relationships with the best vendors, is extremely organized, responsive, and on top of everything. We planned our wedding from across the country and we couldn't have done it without Alyssa. If you want to truly enjoy your wedding planning process (and your wedding), you must hire Alyssa!

r us, and managed our vendor discussions directly, ensuring everything was seamless and stress-free. Her design input was super helpful and she ensured that the day-of setup went flawlessly. The entire wedding planning process was as low-stress as possible, because we were always confident that Alyssa would keep things on track. She’s also just a great person to work with and we really enjoyed getting to know her! We highly recommend her!

dding venue was also a blank slate, which required all vendors to be brought in. Alyssa made this entire wedding planning process as easy as it possibly could have ever been for me. She was incredibly organized from the very beginning. Her planning skills are meticulous- every detail was thought of. She was extremely proactive in our planning process so I never felt behind, or pressured to make a decision in a short amount of time. She is extremely collaborative while also helping me make decisions, as I am extremely indecisive. She always guided me without ever pressuring me to make one decision or another. I had other friends planning weddings at the same time as me and they couldn't believe how calm and relaxed I was during the process, but I know that is all due to Alyssa. The entire weekend went flawlessly. I never had to worry about a single thing, other than having fun and being in the moment, because I knew Alyssa had it all handled. I don't know how she does it, but I am extremely grateful that she does because it was the best weekend of my life!

We had to pivot wedding venues in the middle due to construction issues and she made the transition stress free and easy! Thank you Alyssa!!!

ould hire her again for my daughters weddings.

vice and forethought. The best part was, on the day of the wedding, I didn’t have to think about anything. Alyssa’s vision for the reception design and what the vendors she recommended put together exceeded my expectations. All I had to do was walk down the aisle and have fun with my friends and family. Guests even commented on how seamless the ceremony and reception were. I highly recommend hiring Alyssa for the peace of mind that everything will go smoothly under her direction.

g. Our wedding was at an old theater that is not your typical wedding venue and she helped me turn it into a gala-feeling black-tie wedding of my absolute dreams. From initial planning calls with her where she recommended a ceremony space based on my particular aesthetic, to attending tastings and floral meetings and giving me her input when I felt lost- Alyssa felt like I always had a fairy godmother waving her wand to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Any day-of changes she handled with ease and ensured my otherwise rowdy bridal party was always exactly where they needed to be. The cherry on top was when all my friends and family said "your planner was unreal- worth every penny". I write this with a twinge of sadness that I'm no longer in constant communication with Alyssa but recommend her for any and everyone hoping to throw the best party of their lives.

d her, she was that impressive. I live in Chicago and my daughter lives in Connecticut, where the wedding took place. Alyssa's ideas and organizational skills were exceptional. Her ability to coordinate all of my vendors and communicate with each one allowed me to focus on other aspects of the wedding. It was certainly a relief to know I could rely on my planner to navigate all the details and ensure nothing was overlooked. I also engaged Alyssa to assist with a large welcome party that we hosted at a separate venue the night before the wedding. Having a wedding planner enabled my daughter to focus on her upcoming marriage, while ensuring that I was able to enjoy the weekend, knowing that both events were in Alyssa Jean Signature Events' capable hands. I highly recommend Alyssa and her team, and I am grateful for her role in helping me create a memorable weekend.

e at all times. Alyssa has such great attention to detail, and I truly mean that. There were so many moments after meetings with venders that I thought “wow, would’ve never thought to ask that!” - she thinks of everything! We always felt 100% confident leaving everything in Alyssa’s hands. The entire planning process was made so easy and FUN, everything was so organized, from our vision board, to when we had to pay vendors, to what the next steps were. Her communication was flawless, we must’ve contacted her 500 times the week of the wedding about tiny details and without hesitation, she was there. The day of was absolute perfection, we did not have to worry about a single thing. I was truly able to live in the moment. Alyssa was there to handle each vendor, wrangled the entire wedding party to be in the right place at the right time, she was there to help with my bustle, even made sure we ate, no detail was left out...the list goes on (all whilst 9 months pregnant may I add)!! SHE IS A SUPERSTAR! Hiring Alyssa was the best decision we made for our wedding and we feel so incredibly lucky to have found her!

ay of the wedding about some last minute decor I wanted, she made sure all the decor was exactly how I wanted on the day of the wedding, she made my entire timeline flawlessly and the day just couldn’t have gone any better because of her. She was simply the backbone to my wedding and I couldn’t have done it without her. She is professional, organized, punctual, respectful, kind & caring. Everything I wanted in a coordinator. I cannot say enough amazing things about Alyssa other than she simply made my wedding dreams come true. I couldn’t have done that day without her by my side. She took control of organizing and running the show the day of, making sure everyone walked down at the right time, to making sure I had food to eat. She is just amazing and you need to hire her for your wedding!

ss because I knew that I could trust Alyssa and that she had everything under control! She is PHENOMENAL at what she does - super professional, punctual, and organized, and she has a wealth of experience that made the preparation and the day of SEAMLESS! She helped us select the most incredible team of vendors, managed our budget and payment schedule for us, coordinated all of the logistics, and designed the entire look and feel of the wedding. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and I already miss working with her. Hire her!!!

how perfectly she planned our wedding, but I’m sure going to try… From our first conversation, I knew Alyssa was the right fit for us. We had 8 months to plan our wedding, we were paying for the majority of it ourselves, I have a demanding job, and I have zero friends nearby to help—and did I mention I’m type A and more than a little specific about what I want? I was worried that Alyssa might think I was a control freak who wouldn’t let her do her job…but it was the exact opposite. Alyssa made every planning call a fun one, amped me up for the wedding, and reminded me to focus on the important things like marrying my husband, not a little snafu that may come up! I have to note that she was also EXTREMELY conscious of my budget and didn’t present one vendor that was outside of it…she also let me know where to spend and where to save, which is key when you don’t have an unlimited budget! Well, we just got married last week and we have heard from several guests that it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to, no doubt all having to do with Alyssa’s impeccable attention to detail to bring our vision to life, ability to keep everything on track, and the amazing vendors she recommended. I’m normally an anxious person and throughout the process, Alyssa kept me feeling like everything was covered (because it was, she misses nothing!). We even had a venue where every single fork, spoon, and glass had to be rented and I can’t even tell you how impressed I was with her communication with the venue, the caterer, and the rental companies, in addition to other vendors. The day of the wedding, I was calm as soon as I saw her because I knew everything would be spot-on. Alyssa, I kind of wish we could do it all over again! Hire her and I guarantee you will not only have an absolutely beautiful wedding, but so much fun along the way!!

c, asking us what we wanted the day to be like. Alyssa's clear passion for ensuring that her couples have the most memorable weekend was felt throughout the entire 1.5+ year we worked with her. For instance, I was abroad when we were choosing many of our vendors and our venue, and the venue and the vendors she recommended couldn't have been more perfect. She understood our vision immediately and executed it seamlessly, from the small details like frames for table numbers to incorporating elements of Korean and Jewish traditions. Furthermore, our wedding was fairly complicated and extensive, with rehearsal dinner + welcome drinks on Friday, ceremony + reception + afterparty on Saturday, and then a farewell brunch on Sunday, and everything was extremely smooth. Many of our attendees commented that this was by far the best wedding that they had gone to! We were able to truly let go of the small things and have an incredible time--and I say this as one of the most type-A, detail oriented person! In addition to her superb aesthetic sensibilities and ability to execute complicated logistical matters, Alyssa is by far the most responsive person I've worked with. I've worked in consulting, and my now-husband is a lawyer, and we were both amazed by her excellent communication: it's now to the point where my email turnaround standards have become completely skewed. Even when we were dealing with some unexpected circumstances (as one does in a wedding), Alyssa was incredibly helpful and communicative, staying one step ahead of us. Alyssa was also quite honest with us in terms of budget: weddings can be quite expensive, and Alyssa advised us on what was worth splurging on and what was not--and what the going market was. Beyond her excellent capabilities: Alyssa is truly a remarkable and caring person, and it's been our honor to work with her. One of our vendors mentioned that Alyssa was by far the best planner and person to work with, and how lucky we were. We absolutely agree! We will miss her dearly--we cannot recommend enough working with her. You will have the most fantastic wedding!

ad described and set the aesthetic tone and proposed what turned out to be INCREDIBLE vendors, and the day-of support, which was next level. From beginning to end, we felt so taken care of and stress free. Highly recommend tapping into Alyssa's expertise as you plan your big day.

true - it’s an entirely different thing to make the process worry-free and enjoyable! Alyssa did both and that was no small feat in planning a wedding that was delayed twice due to Covid. No detail was left to chance . She maintained complete control - with intention and purpose at every step. Her experience, organizational skills and clear-headed attention gave her the ability to think through every detail so that when the day came - everything was just as planned and the night was truly magical. Working with Alyssa was the best wedding decision we made and we cannot thank her enough for creating a night that we will remember forever!

of complicated wedding with a 3pm church ceremony, 6pm reception at a ballroom where Alyssa and our vendors only had 1 hour to flip the room from the previous wedding and Alyssa handled it all seamlessly! I leaned on Alyssa quite a bit for design advice (florals, stationery, rentals, etc) and the final product was stunning! We got so many compliments on how beautiful the church and ballroom looked. One of our guests told me it was the "wedding of the century!" My husband and I had the most unforgettable wedding day all thanks to Alyssa!!

meeting scheduling and professional. I don’t know what I would have done without her! We were very happy with all the vendors she suggested, they were all people she had worked with before and who she knew would do a great job. She was very responsive and communication was always easy and not overwhelming. She did a lot of work and managed to organize and coordinate a perfect day for us. I can’t thank her enough!

saying a lot during COVID times. If you're lucky enough to have stumbled upon Alyssa's site and are still looking at other vendors, I will give you simple advice: stop the search and hire Alyssa. You will be sooooo very happy that you did. Thank you, Alyssa, for making our wedding day perfect!!!

y beautiful, but convenient for our guests - but as two pretty busy professionals it became too much very quickly. Alyssa was amazing. After just 1 meeting, she had our look sorted, existing vendors lined up, new vendors identified, and orders all squared away. She kept us on track from a timing perspective, had informed recommendations for every question we asked and ensured nothing slipped through the cracks. She was beyond professional to work with and gave us a peace-of-mind we wouldn’t have had otherwise – and we weren’t the only ones who noticed. Our caterer commented “I work with many wedding planners - she was excellent.” We'd highly recommend working with Alyssa on everything from look to logistics - she's exceptional.

. If you are still reading and want to hear more, allow me to share a little bit about not just one, but TWO of our weddings that Alyssa planned. Thanks global pandemic. Our date was set for September 2020. We had a venue in mind, a concept and LOADS of ideas with no time (we travel frequently) or plan on how to execute. Thankfully we found Alyssa. It was during that first call she listened, asked all the pertinent questions and did not flinch at the idea of transforming a working airport hangar into our dream wedding. You read that right, she turned a fully functioning airplane hangar full of planes at a busy airport which has never held an event such as this, into a multi themed over-the-top dream destination themed wedding. Of the million things that needed to be done to pull this off, she had everything covered. Things that never occurred to us that needed to be covered, she had already done with precision and the most amazing organization I’ve ever witnessed. Then Covid hit. Our plan of having 260 people, multiple bands, magicians, photo booths, countless cocktail hour food stations, a sit down coursed dinner and multiple bars was squashed. But Alyssa being the rock star planner she is pivoted quickly. We switched our 2020 location to an intimate beach wedding of 25 where we enjoyed a sunset ceremony, dinner and dancing with our toes in the sand. As perfect as this evening was, we still wanted our big celebration, so we pushed our reception date out a year. Fast forward to September, 2021. Bring back all the pomp and circumstance from our original venue concept, add an additional year of over the top ideas, which she always graciously entertained, and Alyssa brought our dream to life. We had our destination themed reception of coastal New England cocktail hour and Après ski themed reception where our guests were greeted with champagne and airplanes upon arrival, it was everything we hoped for. Alyssa took the lead and coordinated building a kitchen to feed hundreds, brought in bathrooms, arranged 2 different bands, miles of pipe and drape, custom lighting, fog machines, liquid nitrogen, custom invitation suites, AV teams, electrical mapping, a surprise movie premier of our 2020 ceremony, insurances, decor for three separate themes (travel, beach, ski mountain), coordination of countless vendors and did I mention we required this event be entirely single use plastic free and all food had to be sustainably sourced?! I could go on… she did it all. So, if you have taken the time to read this I refer to my original statement, stop hesitating and contact Alyssa. If you want to enjoy the planning process and have a stress free day with your guests Alyssa Jean Signature Events is who will ensure that happens. Besides saying “I do”, she is the best thing that will happen on your special day.

t at all times, and kind throughout the whole process. I always felt like the center of attention when speaking with Alyssa and given how many weddings she plans, that’s saying something! My now husband and I were going through a gut renovation of our home while planning our wedding, and I could not have made it through mentally and emotionally without Alyssa. She was very patient with me when I felt like I was being pulled in multiple directions. On our wedding day, we experienced a historic high tide and coastal flood surge, which required very quick thinking and a total rearrangement of the reception just a couple hours before the ceremony. Alyssa worked so diligently to still make our wedding perfect. No easy feat! Our guests were thrilled with the day and have been raving ever since. It was a wedding weekend to remember and we cannot thank Alyssa enough! If only we could do it all again!

of my vendors so that nothing got missed, and Alyssa did it seamlessly. She’s prompt, direct, SUPER organized, and on top of absolutely everything. She would tell me exactly when I needed to pay vendors, she made appointments with my venue to make sure we were all on the same page and it was what I wanted, and always helped me with anything I asked her. She always responded super quickly which is great for a bride because there’s so many things on your mind you just want to address it and cross it off your list as quickly as possible. She’s on top of it all and I was fully confident that our wedding day would go exactly as we wanted as long as she was there - and it did!! It was even better than we expected which I didn’t know was even possible!! Don’t hesitate to hire her - she is absolutely the reason my wedding was so stress free and went so amazing. She is worth every single penny, I promise. We love you Alyssa and are forever grateful!!! XO

with no real direction in mind and feeling a bit like I was settling. Alyssa completely changed that for me. She was able to inspire me into reimagining a whole new wedding. She helped me find the most perfect venue in Stonington, CT near where I grew up and put me in contact with the best and most professional vendors I could hope for. She was also incredibly reachable and even though I live in Chicago, very flexible with our meetings and always made it a priority to meet me when I was in town. On the day of I can honestly say I was in such good hands with her and my vendors I felt almost zero stress. She thought of everything so that I didn’t feel like I was hosting 130 people but instead got to enjoy the night alongside them. I could not recommend her more!

s that we followed that turned out to be correct! Thanks so much for all your hard work!

ally build a venue at the house! She thought of everything and it all came together perfectly. Planning a wedding across the country was stressful, but we knew we were in such good hands with Alyssa’s expertise. She answered every single question and even provided suggestions we hadn’t even thought of yet. She was so kind and understanding and professional. Not only does she have impeccable organizational skills, but she is also such a positive and thoughtful person. We feel so lucky to have found her!

ng had to be brought in, and I was simply feeling unenthusiastic about the wedding and unmotivated to plan it all over again. I hired Alyssa to avoid reconfiguring every vendor order and negotiating pre-existing contracts. Throughout the process, Alyssa not only took everything off of my plate, but she also got me excited for the wedding again. She is incredibly organized and detail-oriented, but she also has the bigger picture in mind of creating a space and a moment that people will simply enjoy! In the days leading up to the wedding, Alyssa went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect including calling the tent company and having them come back to the venue a second time to fix an issue that many others would have simply "dealt with." Everything felt seamless and we had the best time!

D was no easy task, but I know that having Alyssa is part of the reason we were able to pivot so easily. We decided to continue with our original wedding plans, but reduce the guest list significantly. Not only was Alyssa completely supportive in helping us come up with new plans, but she had had another similar sized wedding at our venue about a month before ours! It was invaluable that she had just done one at the same location and she had endless suggestions on tweaks (like the seating arrangements for the reception, for instance). My husband and I felt so relieved that we had Alyssa with us for the big day, she completely handled the rehearsal and got our large bridal party under control, so we knew we would be all set for the day of. On our wedding day, Alyssa was somehow everywhere at once, putting our all our decor and making sure all our vendors knew where everything went. I didn't have to worry about a thing and it was just such a relief. Lastly, during the reception I found Alyssa to let her know that the tent was getting drafty and asked her to add a few of the additional tent sides. I looked over a few minutes later and Alyssa was attempting to put the additional sides on all by herself! I was blown away by this and thankfully some of my family members jumped in to help! Long story short- hire Alyssa! You won't regret it! Thank you so much again for making our day so stress-free and enjoyable- we will never forget it!

2020, looking to get married on October 17th. My husband and I decided to do a black tie back yard event at one of my family's homes. Considering the work that goes into creating a venue, I was honestly nervous. To top it all off, it was set to downpour on our wedding day. Let me tell you something - not only was Alyssa flexible (because of rain we decided to add a tent floor to our main tent literally 1 day before it went up), but she was a pro and meticulous. Alyssa was punctual with calls, she would text, and honestly - mostly of all - she would handle things behind the scene without ever having to bring me on the rollercoaster - something that I definitely could have not handled, and she knew it. Not only did we add a tent floor 1 day before it went up, we also added a 2nd tent for cocktail hour, again 1 day before it went up. She clearly has great relationships with vendors, and was able to get everything done that we needed in record timing, and coerce vendors through those relationships to get things done that we never could have on our own. She is sweet, thoughtful, and just plain damn good at her job. On the day of our wedding, I probably saw her for all of 10 minutes (in a good way!) and I will say this - something that many of our guests mentioned after our party - the day went without a hiccup. There was no awkward lull in the events of that day, our tent looked INCREDIBLE, we made last minute decisions that ended up looking like we thought about them for a year, and I just simply couldn't have been happier. She is worth every penny.

make your wedding ideas into reality. Long version: I honestly do not think our wedding would have been as elegant, beautiful and well put together if we had not hired Alyssa. Since our engagement, I knew I would need help in planning such a big event. Both my husband and I lived in Boston and I was in school -- I could not imagine trying to plan a 150-guest wedding by myself all the while attempting to study, attending to medical rotations and trying to stay sane. The venue we chose to get married at actually recommended Alyssa and since our first phone call together, she was already ahead of the ball. From there on out, Alyssa made this whole process less daunting and less stressful. She took the ideas I had for what I wanted in my wedding and made is blossom into reality. The vendors she suggested were not only based on our price range but also with our personality. If I needed any opinions or suggestions on certain things, Alyssa was always there to help me. Her timeline made this process seamless, fun and exciting! Then COVID hit. There was a lot of uncertainty worldwide, most definitely in the wedding world. With me having a type-A personality, having this pause and not knowing what would happen in the upcoming months was terrifying. Alyssa always kept us in the loop of what was going on and was there to support us. When we decided to move forward with the wedding but decrease the number of guests, it was like re-planning the wedding all over again. But the stress factor was still at a minimum because Alyssa took the reins and made the process just as seamless as she did before. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and a lot of it was due to Alyssa’s hard work and expertise in this field. The whole day went smoothly, and we did not have to think about a single thing other than simply enjoying ourselves on our day. I cannot thank her enough for making this day happen, especially during a pandemic. Her attentiveness, organizational skills, her communication is more than phenomenal. The way our wedding turned out could not have been done without her, the vendors she had suggested and the venue. I am still in awe of the result. Alyssa, thank you, thank you, thank you! Whatever event I have in the future I know who I’ll be contacting!!

nking that the pandemic would surely be over by summer of 2020....joke is on us). I had actually found Alyssa from her reviews on the Knot and I now know why her reviews are all amazing - it's because she is amazing! From our first conversation, I knew Alyssa was going to be the best decision we made for our wedding and she certainly was. She was so on top of things and set out a clear plan for the planning process from day 1. We immediately felt comfortable with her and trusted her as if we'd known her forever. For the next few months, Alyssa worked closely with us to identify the best vendors for us based on our vision and personalities and I have to say, she nailed our vendor selections! All of the vendors she recommended to us were perfect and I am still amazed at how well she was able to read us as a couple and select people that would be the perfect fit for us and our vision of our day. A review about Alyssa would be incomplete if I didn't comment on the super human planning powers that she has in rescheduling weddings! My husband and I are probably one of the few couples that actually moved their wedding up to 2020 in the middle of a global pandemic and we could not have done this without her. When I emailed her to tell her that my husband (who is in the military) would start deploying again sooner than we anticipated, Alyssa jumped right in and made our dream wedding happen.....3 weeks later!!! I have to be honest and say that most of our friends and family thought we were crazy and thought there was no way we could make a wedding happen in 3 weeks, but Alyssa did it. We knew to trust her when she said "I promise you, I can do this" and she was not wrong! I cannot begin to convey to you how amazing Alyssa was with moving our wedding up and coordinating all of our vendors and a full wedding in a 3 week time span. As if coordinating our wedding in 3 weeks wasn't stressful enough, there was also a potential hurricane coming and Alyssa jumped right in to determine what options we would have given the impending weather combined with COVID-19 restrictions and handles everything with grace. She was the best sounding board throughout this process and we could not have had the day we had without her! On the day of the wedding, you would have had no idea we just moved our wedding up 3 weeks ago because everything was perfect! Everything went off without a hitch and was so beautifully designed. I am actually still amazed how Alyssa designed our perfect wedding day when I couldn't even articulate exactly what I was looking for, but when I walked in the room the day of our wedding everything EXCEEDED my expectations. If you're considering hiring a planner do it and hire Alyssa. You absolutely will not regret your decision. She will be our go to planner for all events as long as we are in the New England area and I know she will also be yours if you work with her for your wedding. Please do yourselves a favor and hire her now! :-)

her for month of planning. This was the best decision we made hands down, Alyssa made everything so easy and we didn't have to worry about a thing! She was super organized, professional, detail orientated, and awesome to work with! As I was getting ready Saturday morning for our wedding I did not have the stress in the back of my mind if everyone was being setup on time at our venue. I knew Alyssa was going to take care of everything and make sure it was perfect, which it was!!! We were able to enjoy our day while Alyssa ran the show - could not recommend Alyssa enough to any couple!!

a wedding planner but I was absolutely incorrect. If you are on the fence about hiring a planner, look no further and definitely hire Alyssa! From day one she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is so knowledgeable, practical, and helpful. Her years of experience in the industry really show as she thinks of every detail and provides fantastic recommendations. It was so helpful to have access to Alyssa’s preferred vendor lists and her online planning tools, and for Alyssa to look at our vendor contracts and provided comments based on her expertise. My now husband and I were set to get married on August 1, 2020, which was in the middle of the ongoing COVID pandemic. From the onset of the pandemic, Alyssa fielded numerous panicked emails and calls. While we ultimately decided not to move forward with our wedding as planned due to personal reasons, Alyssa was professional and empathetic during the entire process. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is beyond difficult and Alyssa was so calm and responsive. This was new territory for her but you’d never know it. Though we didn’t see our big day through as planned, we know we made the right choice in hiring Alyssa and are so confident in her abilities to execute flawlessly. I highly recommend Alyssa!

! In simple terms – HIRE HER! You will not be disappointed. Alyssa helped us navigate the difficult terrain of a wedding in a pandemic, in a different state than bride’s family, on private land, multiple vendors and an elaborate set-up of the venue. She did this with the utmost poise, kindness and professional guidance. At one point in the Spring when the pandemic hit, I (MOB) could not move, let alone make a decision regarding the wedding. Alyssa called, set up a meeting with our daughter and me and provided the expertise and know-how for the next steps. This allowed our wedding team (FOB, groom, bride and I) to regain confidence and actually enjoy the final months of the wedding process. Throughout Alyssa fielded multiple questions, supplied resources, gave suggestions and was at the ready at every turn. We luckily hired Alyssa to run the rehearsal dinner as well, and she did a remarkable job, taking care of every detail and attending to all the bride’s wishes (even picking up tablecloths from a vendor in Connecticut!). Alyssa was extremely efficient at all meetings and worked seamlessly with the vendors. I can truly say my daughter and I relaxed the month of the wedding as we watched Alyssa take over. She had everything under control, asked the right questions, ordered the final counts of everything, set the detailed agenda and made sure everything was set. Alyssa also went above and beyond her job description making the wedding just the way we imagined it. She offered to tie the ribbons on the napkins for the reception the night before, helped with the bridal bouquet at the last moment and made sure all the technical systems were running flawlessly (such as ordering additional power for the ceremony musicians). Alyssa internalized our vision and made it happen! Everyone at the wedding said how wonderful it all was and how it went on without a single hiccup! We agreed. Alyssa planned each minute of the wedding; day of and night before, coordinating with the photographer, videographer, band, caterer, etc. I can truly say as parents of the bride we enjoyed the wedding tremendously! Our hats go off to Alyssa Johnson of Alyssa Jean Signature Events!! Thank you! Thank you!

Having to deal with a "COVID wedding" I can't imagine how much harder her job became, but she did it and made everything easy for us. At first we didn't plan on getting a wedding coordinator at all, but I can't imagine what we we would have done without her. Best purchase of our entire wedding!

pleasure to work with. We had a small daytime brunch wedding (less than 65 people), and in the course of our introductory planning calls, she really took the time to understand our vision and overall vibe, and she stepped in seamlessly to coordinate with all our vendors, drive our final venue walk through and site arrangements, and sort out every last detail. When I say every last detail, I really mean it – I think my mom’s mind was blown when she asked our venue coordinator how they would fold the napkins at each place setting. In all seriousness, Alyssa thought of absolutely everything, and gave great suggestions and advice on several last-minute changes that came up. Alyssa communicated very clearly with me as well as each of our vendors and members of the wedding party so that everything went smoothly on the day of. She has a great eye for detail, including setting up all our personal décor the morning of the wedding, and I truly was able to relax and enjoy the day only because she made everything run so smoothly. I could not be more grateful to her for being such a rockstar on the day of, and I would highly recommend her to anyone – my husband has already been joking that if we ever do this wedding thing again, she will be the first person we call!

le, and my family is in RI.) My fiance and I settled on a date in February, and I went into overdrive on wedding planning. I knew there was no way I could plan a cross-country wedding without help. I didn't search long for wedding planners before I found Alyssa. I really liked her vibe - she was young, experienced in hospitality, and was passionate about the most important things in life (dogs, wine, and ice cream). Considering I had big ice cream plans for my wedding, I was pretty sure Alyssa was the one for me. And after our phone consultation, I knew without out a doubt. With only about 6 months to pull the wedding together, Alyssa became my lifesaver - I probably talked to her more often than my own fiance! We were pretty torn on locations, and without having time to visit in person, we relied on Alyssa to tour venues and FaceTime us. This was super helpful and saved us significant travel time and costs. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, I was often pretty sure I was probably driving Alyssa crazy. Being a very organized, Type A person myself, I couldn't stop working on wedding things, even though Alyssa was on top of it all. I would often send her emails with things that randomly popped into my head - and she would respond that she had just been writing an email about the exact same thing! I'm sure at times she probably just wanted me to chill and let her do her thing, but she never seemed annoyed with me at all! I can imagine that working with brides, you have to be very patient and understanding, and Alyssa is certainly that. Something about weddings makes us brides go insane, so having a calm, steady person to guide you through the process is incredibly reassuring. My biggest fear going into the wedding day was that all the random choices on things that I had made wouldn't all go together. Choosing things from afar made it hard to visualize the big picture. But walking into our reception space, I realized I never should have been worried. Alyssa was all over it, and the vendors she gave me to choose from were obviously perfectly curated for my wedding, because everything looked exactly how I had dreamt of. Her knowledge of vendors in MA, RI, and CT is extensive, because of her long tenure in the industry - and it shows. From florals to cake to rentals, everyone she brought to the table were as 5 star as she is. Having Alyssa on hand to plan my whole wedding probably saved me from many emotional breakdowns. I would highly highly recommend her for the full wedding package. But if you can't afford that, even just bringing her on board for the day is worth it. Knowing that on my wedding day, all I had to do was get ready and show up was so amazing. I let Alyssa worry about the timeline and making sure the right people got to the right place and that really allowed me to enjoy the day stress-free. I think the best way to explain how much I appreciated Alyssa is how I felt the day after. While we went to brunch, and headed to our honeymoon, Alyssa took care of the final logistics and then went home. I was so sad I didn't get to say goodbye to her in person, as she had become such a huge part of my life leading up to the wedding. But I'm so grateful I'l get to see her again - she's planning my little brother's wedding next year!

Island so we knew from the start that an extra set of hands was a must. After reviewing several planners, my daughter selected Alyssa after speaking with her on the phone...she told me they just “clicked”. From the first step of visiting venues, which in several cases Alyssa did on her own with a Facetime connection to the West Coast to save the couple from extra trips out East to the last step of packing up everything after the reception, everything happened without a hitch. One aspect that I didn’t quite appreciate until the day of the wedding, was the quality of vendors that Alyssa brought to us. While we recommended some we knew, she had a full network across the spectrum that were of the highest quality. While they looked good on paper and prices were competitive, the actual product was outstanding...the flowers, the coffee bar, the nitrogen ice cream....all vendors I would never have known about without Alyssa! If I haven’t convinced you yet that Alyssa is the best, perhaps this last comment will. My son is getting married in 2021 and yes, Alyssa is already on the job!

oriented- all the qualities you want in a Wedding Planner. She obviously has such an important job of coordinating all vendors and creating detailed time lines so clients can have their dream wedding day come to reality with no hiccups, and she does so with such ease and professionalism. As a florist working in the wedding industry for the past several years, I can say Alyssa's communication is unrivaled which is key to a successful execution of a busy wedding weekend. I HIGHLY recommend Alyssa Jean Signature Events as your Wedding Planner. She will make it easy and enjoyable for all involved!

m and her passion for her work. We live in California and after 2 months of trying to plan things ourselves, we knew we needed a planner to make our wedding vision come to life. We were unable to look at venues in person before picking the final place. Alyssa made the trip to Boston, toured each venue and then Face-timed us to show us each of the spaces and explain what she felt was great about each space and why it worked for our budget and our overall vision. It took so much pressure and stress out of not being able to see the venue in person. When it came time to schedule our tasting and design meeting, Alyssa made a Saturday appointment work even though she had plans to meet her family for a vacation in New Hampshire. She, her husband and doggie all waited patiently for us to make decisions on the menu and the overall design for tables. Truly, she went above and beyond for us. Alyssa scheduled check-in calls and made sure we knew exactly what was next to accomplish in our planning schedule. She sent us several options for each vendor and would listen to what we liked or didn't like about the potential venders until we found the perfect live band, photographer, florist and hair and makeup artist. Both my husband and I have busy schedules and she made the whole process feel manageable and fun! Alyssa was also incredibly respectful of our overall budget and made sure that everything we wanted was possible. While the planning process was excellent, the part that was truly mind blowing was just how relaxed and fun the rehearsal dinner and the actual wedding day felt. So many brides feel like they are finishing up last minute items right before the wedding, myself included, and when Alyssa heard my self-made to do list, she said "Absolutely not! You are the bride, give me your list and I will take care of everything." Then she actually took care of every detail, of every schedule, of every last minute change so that everything was just perfect. She exceeded all of my expectations and did everything with such incredible professionalism. I used to think it was silly when people say their wedding day was magical... ours truly was (my husband didn't even want to have a wedding and he admits it was all worth it) and it was all because of Alyssa. When planning such a huge event, do yourself a favor and invest in a planner who is going to advocate for you and allow you to enjoy the experience. We cannot recommend Alyssa enough and we hope that you use Alyssa for your planning services.

dors & guests, and beforehand her expertise was invaluable when deciding on everything from the venue to the food. We absolutely could not have had as good of a time as we did without her!
