Alyssa is amazing!! She literally took my daughter's vision of her perfect wedding and brought it to life. Alyssa was accessible during the whole process, was able to give great vender recommendations, as well as wonderful design ideas! She created a cohesive look throughout, beginning with save-the-dates to invitations to decor and day-of signage, doing a lot of the design herself. Whenever I, or my daughter, had a question, Alyssa was quick to respond! I loved that she attended several important meetings during the process of planning, and knew exactly what questions to ask. She became the contact person for everyone along the way! It was especially nice to let her coordinate all vendors and behind the scene details on the day of the wedding, so we could all just enjoy this special time! She has a very calm demeanor and seemed to handle the craziness of a wedding day with grace! I can not say enough great things about Alyssa. She was a perfect match for our daughter!

I have had the pleasure of working with Alyssa at several weddings and rehearsal dinners and she is amazing. On top of every detail, beautiful in all aspects of wedding planning. I would highly recommend her!

Having Alyssa be apart of our wedding planning was the absolute best decision we could have ever made. Alyssa is the best wedding planner!! She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. She has great style and knows what the latest trend is and makes it timeless! Hire her! You will not be disappointed! My wedding venue cancelled on me 8 DAYS before the wedding. She had a list of available venues the next day and we had the new venue booked 2 days later! She took all the stress away and it was a flawless wedding!

WOW. That is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Alyssa. She is truly the best! From start to finish she made the entire process so easy. She is professional, personable and truly made my vision come to life (even though I probably changed my mind a million and one times throughout the planning process and made so many last minute changes)!! She ensured no detail was left untouched. She listened carefully and knew exactly how to make all of my dreams come true! Her great vendor relationship and her eye from design really showed on our big day. I don’t think my Pinterest boards could of put together anything better. Working with Alyssa was a dream-- planning went very smoothly from start to finish. She took notes of every conversation and meeting we had and has such attention to detail. I didn't have a vision for our wedding, but rather, there were details that we wanted to incorporate into our wedding and Alyssa found the best way to make everything come together and look absolutely STUNNING. She has great relationships with vendors and she saw to it that anything that we needed was taken care of. There were some situations that we had to face (i.e. unorganized venue coordinators, last minute changes) but she handled all of these curve balls with grace and professionalism. Most importantly she is so easy to get along with and never treated us as a project. She is excellent at what she does and it's obvious she is passionate about it as well. If I could I would hire her for any event I would ever have to host.

Our amazing wedding venue folks at Sandlewood Manor referred us to Alyssa. She was the best decision we made for our wedding planning. Alyssa is a pro at what she does and it didn’t take us long to realize that! She was there for us throughout the process. She helped us stay within budget, while giving us the wedding we wanted. She handled all the vendors and any hiccups along the way without making us feel any of the stress. She was detailed and meticulous. Alyssa had all of our trust and gave us great advice along the way. Rarely do wedding guests comment on the coordination but a ton of people kept telling us how greatly everything was coordinated and took note of her efforts throughout the night. We can’t imagine how tough wedding planning would have been without her. We highly recommend a wedding planner and Alyssa is the best in the biz! Thank you for everything.

Alyssa Meeks goes above and beyond for every wedding and she’s done 2 for me. Alyssa has beautiful and unique ideas that made my daughters weddings super special. Not only is Alyssa the best, she had to change our venue due to unforeseen circumstances in 8 days. She nailed it!! Alyssa is extremely professional! She was amazing from start to finish. I booked her almost a year before my wedding & she was able to assist with vendors, keep us call & help bring our vision to life. Alyssa and her team were an amazing help at making my dream wedding come true! Producing a city sized wedding in small town has more challenges than you can count, but Alyssa calmly walked through the process with ease. She is creative, organized, and everything you could ask for in a wedding planner!

My husband and I were working with another planner in Houston but we ended up having to part ways one month before our wedding. The best decision we made throughout this entire wedding planning process was hiring Alyssa. Not being local and having to plan a Vietnamese American wedding that incorporated traditions from both cultures made things more challenging for use when it came to navigating the world of wedding planning. After our first meeting with Alyssa, she instantly lifted all of our pain, worry, frustration, and stress. Alyssa is detail oriented, patient, professional, and has exquisite taste. She reviewed all of our vendor contracts and got straight to work. Alyssa also helped us finalized our floral arrangements and gave us advise on what decor items tied in nicely with our theme. Our wedding was an all day 14 HR + event and Alyssa made it perfect. She checked in on us throughout the day and made us feel so at ease that we got to enjoy our day worry free. She was our fairy god mother and we owe her everything. Our day would have not been possible without Alyssa and her team. If we could re- do anything about out wedding, we would have hired AME from day one. We highly recommend AME and their services. They were amazing and we simply cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for us.

Alyssa and I met several years ago, but I never thought I would be able to hire her as my wedding planner because she was all the way in Houston. We got married in Lexington, KY and although planners there are plenty, I just had a feeling that Alyssa would truly get my vision of the wedding. I reached out to her and she was more than excited to help with our wedding. We discussed details from start to finish, all while she took notes of things large and small. We didn't mind flying her out to Kentucky because she did a tremendous job the last 6 months leading up to the big day. I also had her design our invitation suite and they were gorgeous. She was so on top of things the whole wedding weekend; dealing with guests, bridesmaids and groomsmen, my husband and I, etc. She had a great attitude towards all the vendors and even they raved about how professional she was. As a person, she was optimistic, organized, focused, and good with thinking on her feet. She was always one (possibly even two or three) steps ahead of me; making sure everyone knew all details and having my car packed up before the end of the night and setting up all the knick knacks that I had continued to add on to my list of day-of items. She made our day feel like a breeze and we'd hire her over and over again - if only we could celebrate our big day that many times! BEST WEDDING PLANNER EVER! I don't even know how to begin this review. From the moment I was paired with Alyssa, I knew our wedding would go off without a hitch - and it did. She was there every step of the last 2 months, listening to my parents and I constantly changing our minds about details, incessant phone calls, all with a smile on her face. My dress ripped right after the ceremony and she rushed me into the suite, super glue and safety pins in hand, and put me back together. She made sure I had a drink and water in hand all night, she made us a plate of food to eat quickly after the ceremony, and never left my side. She also did the same for each of my family members. I never knew how much I needed her until I had her. I recommend Alyssa above anyone - I give you my word that she is THE BEST!!!!!!

Alyssa was an absolute delight to work with. I needed something extremely catered to my wedding and she delivered! She worked with me well and tailored a plan for exactly what I wanted. She was very flexible and I appreciated it so much. I highly recommend Alyssa. At least reach out to her if you’re undecided and she will talk you through what she can offer. She made myself and our families feel so at ease and no one was stressed about hiw anything was run during the day. She is extremely professional and as soon as I hired her she took everything over. It was so necessary the weeks leading to the big day. Can’t say enough good words about her and her work.

I got married on March 24th and I hired Alyssa roughly ~2 months before the wedding for a month of and day of coordinator. I already had a day of coordinator at the venue ( bell Tower on 34th) but we needed someone to also help us make sure we didn’t miss anything prior to the day of and to help us finialze little details! I lived in Atlanta at the time and she was such a huge help since she lived in the Houston area!! She really did everything we asked of her and was very timely and personable and easy to work with!! The wedding day went by perfectly and I definitely think she was part of the reason it went so well. I would highly recommend her for your wedding experience!!

Being apart of the industry myself, I was really skeptical of trusting anyone with my sister's wedding. Alyssa Meeks Events was truly my only hope to avoid being both the MOH and the wedding planner. From our first lunch to our last meeting, we were in the best of care. Her full attention was on showcasing the couple of honor and how to best represent their love. Her taste is absolutely impeccable! There was not a single detail left untouched. Though she didn't start that way, she definitely became part of the family by the time the actual wedding came around. We absolutely love her!

I can't say enough about Alyssa. She was incredible. She knows all the right vendors, her attention to detail is spot on and her design talent is spectacular. My daughter's wedding was this past Saturday and my friends and family have not stopped raving about our "BEAUTIFUL" wedding. If you are looking for something different from all others that fits you perfectly, Alyssa is your planner!

Alyssa is Amazing!! We chose to go with month of coordination, but that didn't stop her from answering questions and helping with things I wasn't sure of before the actual month of our wedding. She was there checking in with me every step of the way, and I really felt like she took the time to make sure everything was taken care of. She was extremely organized and made everything so easy. She took care of coordinating with all of the vendors and making sure that no detail went untouched! Because of her hard work and attention to detail we stayed ahead of schedule the entire day, something every one of my vendors (photographer, makeup artist, videographer) complimented on! She had a backup plan for rain (which of course it did) and flipped the inside of the venue just incase we would need it. Because of her, I was able to relax the day of my wedding and know everything was taken care of!

Alyssa was absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I have always been very indecisive people, and every step of planning our wedding was a challenge. Not only did Alyssa put up with us, and make every crazy change we threw her way, she was incredible in her knowledge of the wedding industry and helping us with things above and beyond her reach. When all was said and done, we had the absolute perfect wedding invitation, and the best experience possible to get to that point. We couldn't be happier!

Alyssa was a huge help planning our group fundraising event from conceptualization to day-of coordination. She is extremely flexible, highly creative (yet practical) and poised under pressure - which was a blessing to our process! Alyssa's tasks ranged from locating the venue, setting up infrastructure (power, restrooms, floor plan), booking entertainment and managing budgets + attendance + timelines while also participating in pre and post marketing initiatives. After all was said and done, we surpassed our fundraising goals of $15,000 and helped kick start an annual event of lasting impact!

Alyssa collaborated with me on my Vegas Destination Wedding. She was a part of the full process from invitations to guest gifts to the reception. She continued to work with me at the “Country Glamour” at home reception a month later. She really allowed me to be at ease during these special times!
