Starting 2 months out from our day, she completely handled the vendors so we didn’t have to do any interaction with them on the final logistics - she also fielded some particularly difficult to work with vendors so seamlessly that it was a huge relief for us to hand it off to her! Alyssa is the most organized, thoughtful person we worked with during our wedding process. From creating day of timeline to handling family drama to even packing our car the night of the wedding with all of the decor items we brought to the venue so that we didn’t have to worry about it, Alyssa was easily the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding process! We initially weren't going to hire a planner since we had a venue coordinator, however after being referred by a friend to Alyssa and having our first conversation, I knew it would be absolutely worth it. If you are looking for a wedding planner, there is a clear choice. Alyssa Thomas Events. When I got engaged, I knew that I was going to have an inevitably big guest count, I would be very detail oriented and I wanted to make sure I had the best vendors made available to me... needless to say, I was overwhelmed. I started searching wedding planners in the area and came across Alyssa. Her style was so beautiful and although I didn't know her, I felt like we could be friends! Lol Although having a 300 person wedding felt like a daunting task, Alyssa made it feel doable. Every little detail that I paid attention to, she did x10. The vendor team that Alyssa helped me put together was one that dreams are made of and I feel like each one was hand picked for me. I could write a 20 page essay on how Alyssa made our wedding day the best day ever. Alyssa Thomas Events is simply the absolute best. Most brides have Pinterest boards with all of their pins for their wedding and work with their planner to create their dream wedding, but what about the brides who don’t have those boards or visions? That was me! I didn’t have a board for her to look at or even pictures to send her! I knew what I wanted, but I had no idea how to explain that or create a board showing what I wanted. Alyssa was so patient in every zoom meeting, call, or text. She would pull up pictures for me after I explained things and knew exactly what I was wanting without me even knowing. She pulled together the vendor team of every brides dream that matched my style and together they created something everyone at our wedding will never forget! When my husband and I say she created the most beautiful wedding we’ve ever been too, we mean it! The wedding was absolutely spectacular. It was everything I envisioned and so much more. Working with Alyssa’s team was a dream come true! She was extremely organized, super responsive, and carried insane amount of expertise. I don't think I can capture just how amazing Alyssa is in a paragraph, but I will do my best. Not only did she listen along the way and execute our vision perfectly, but she does so with a bright smile and cheerful attitude. This is exactly the kind of presence you want around throughout the planning process but most importantly, on your wedding day. She made the overwhelming planning experience easy for us by presenting us with options for vendors and managing communication with them. Not to mention, Alyssa stuck with us and navigated us through the complications of a Covid postponement seamlessly - that is just priceless. On our wedding day, there was nothing she didn't and wouldn't do. At one point, it started pouring rain and she literally put herself between me and the edge of the tent, getting completely soaked, just to shield me from the rain. That's the kind of planner you want. If you want someone who will not only plan your wedding, but have a great attitude and be a positive presence on what can be an overwhelming day, do yourself a favor and hire Alyssa. Where would we have been without Alyssa? That's a question we are thrilled to not have to think about. We knew planning from out-of-state would be tough, but we had lots of local help from family and friends, so interviewing wedding planners was more exploratory than necessary. Once we spoke with Alyssa, we knew we had to lock her down. She got to know us, our style and rhythm and made LITERALLY EVERYTHING so easy for us. From venue to hotel to stationary to florals to rentals and all the little things in between, Alyssa understood us and our aesthetic, presented great options, and talked us through everything. On our big day, we didn't have to worry about anything. Our vendors were taken care of, the layout was perfect, our guests were overjoyed, and we were able to fully immerse ourselves into our wedding. That was priceless. I had the pleasure of knowing Alyssa and getting to see her work before I became engaged, and was so excited to reach out to her once we were ready to start planning our wedding. After our initial consultation explaining to her our wish lists, budget, and design aesthetic she came back to us with a beautiful design board and potential venues to explore. Alyssa planned our entire wedding for Oct 2020 and then had to work with us to reschedule and move to the summer for COVID reasons. Not only did this mean she had to essentially redesign some elements due to the season change, but also help us rebook or have to find new vendors because of this. She made this transition SO easy by communicating so well and being on top of our vendors to make sure we could have the dream wedding we wanted. Alyssa is so extremely talented at designing weddings but also just such a kind, caring, and thoughtful human being. She starts off every meeting with you asking how you are and making you feel seen—she knows that wedding planning can be stressful but she constantly reminds you that this is the fun part and she has everything covered. I had so many guests tell me how beautiful my wedding was, and this was all due to Alyssa. The best decision you can make is to hire her!

This review is long overdue! We knew planning a wedding from across the country would be difficult so we set out to find a planner right away. After speaking with several people we knew it was Alyssa. She is thoughtful, engaging, and most importantly, efficient. We came to her with general ideas and she found a way to figure out what we wanted and made it happen. She is amazing at listening to everyone’s input and finding ways to make sure all parties feel validated and included in the process and decision making. You can be as involved in the planning as you want. For me, it was overwhelming to think of every little thing and thankfully, I didn’t have to because Alyssa did it for me. All I had to do was focus on the fun details that I wanted to be involved in and then show up. Alyssa took care of the rest. You can’t put a price on peace of mind. Both of us and our parents agree she is worth every penny! Hire her. You won’t be disappointed.

Hiring Alyssa was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. We cannot express enough how grateful we are for her. If you told me I had to go back and re-plan my entire wedding, and could only keep one thing the same, it would be hiring Alyssa. If you work with her, your dream wedding will happen I promise. Planning a wedding during the pandemic was stressful, and if it weren't for Alyssa I think we would've panicked and canceled. Alyssa helped us create Plans A, B, C, etc. and assured us that if we did have to change plans last minute, she would handle it for us. We trusted her and moved forward with our Plan A. We got married on June 5th, and all COVID restrictions got lifted on June 2nd. We got to have everything exactly the way we wanted it, because we knew she would help us handle any worst case scenarios that popped up. In addition to peace of mind, she ensured our vision came to life, executing and planning down to the last detail. Her expertise, kindness, and passion for her couples is unmatched. Alyssa was a wedding god send!! Working with her was one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process, a dear friend from a past life that helped make our wedding the most perfect day. I worked with her for day of coordinating; she took so much pride in making sure my day was perfect, as if I was one of her full-service wedding clients. She worked with all of my vendors on detail planning ahead of the wedding and was the main contact on the day of. She helped calm me down, offered sage advice and was pivotal in organizing the proceedings of the day. I trusted her implicitly the day of; she helped avert a floral related crisis at the reception, fixed my hair after hours of dancing and packaged every single thing we brought to the wedding. Did I mention that she was almost 7 months pregnant at the time?! She was an absolute rockstar and my parents still comment that the day would not have run as smoothly without her. A good coordinator is the one thing I tell all my friends they need when planning their wedding - all because of Alyssa!

Alyssa made our wedding day dreams come true! She truly went above and beyond that words can’t describe how grateful we are for her. From her wonderful vendor recommendations, her fastidious planning ahead with vendors, her amazing design skills, to her flawless day-of coordination, we would not have had the wedding weekend we had without her. Alyssa was dedicated. I was a 'corona-bride' and we had to deal with a lot of last minute changes and regulations with the vendors. She was able to maneuver everything to make sure it was safe, but absolutely still met my vision. It involved way more phone calls than she probably normally has to do, but we so appreciated her really being in our corner and fighting to make it the best possible outcome for us given the circumstances. I was able to relax and get ready for the events of our wedding weekend knowing that everything was in stellar hands. Alyssa has such a fun, easygoing spirit, making her a joyful point of contact for my husband and I, as well as our many vendors. We could not recommend her heartily enough. Our vision of the wedding was filled with love and laughter was fully realized through Alyssa and her work.If we did everything over again, choosing to work with her would still have been our first major decision! We could not be more grateful to the tremendous care and commitment with which she approaches her events. My advice to future brides is to hire Alyssa and her team!

We had such an amazing experience with ATE Planning & Design! They were attentive, easy to work with and very experienced. We chose to go with a Day of Coordinator, but they did so much more than just helping "day of." Alyssa, owner of the company, provided her expertise along the way and Rachel, our lead planner, was with us from start to finish. They made a great team! They provided help and guidance with anything and everything we needed. From vendor recommendations to decor advice to how much alcohol and flowers to order. They handled our family and friends perfectly and gave us the chance to really enjoy our day and make the most of every single moment. We didn't have worry about a thing and truly felt it was all taken care of. We recommend them highly!

It has been three weeks since our beautiful wedding weekend in Maine, and we are still reliving every stunning detail and every special moment. Over the course of 19 months, Alyssa was always a phone call/text away, whether it was celebrating with me when I got my wedding dress, quickly getting thoughts on napkin colors, or, checking in to see how we were doing during COVID-19. Did I mention this was all during her maternity leave?! Alyssa does not only have exquisite, unique taste, but is a professional business woman who helped us navigate and negotiate with vendors, and then did it ALL OVER AGAIN when we had to downsize due to COVID-19. If you are planning a destination wedding, I cannot recommend her enough! She planned a beautiful wedding without ever seeing the property, or having worked with our vendor team. If you are in search of a wedding planner, look no further! Alyssa remained positive, patient, understanding, and optimistic when my husband Curt and I had to continually change our wedding plans due to the pandemic. Curt and I originally hired Alyssa in 2018 to plan our June 20, 2020 wedding. Due to COVID-19, we had a small church wedding and reception at my mother-in-law and father-in-law’s home on June 20th and our larger celebration for all guests on September 18th. We would not have had either celebration without Alyssa’s flawless coordination and execution. She gathered all contracts and worked with vendors on our original June 20th wedding by assisting anywhere she could (she even picked up our cake and brought it to Clarion!), which we deeply appreciated! On September 17th, she brought our cookies, cake, stationary and other items to Tuck’d Inn Farm so we did not have to pay delivery charges. She coordinated set up at the venue and managed all vendors (we had over 20 vendors!) on September 17th and 18th! She even stayed until the early morning hours of September 19th to assist with clean up so we could go to bed. Alyssa organized the best team of vendors we have ever seen! Everything worked out perfectly and we had so many compliments on our wedding including “that was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to.” We cannot thank Alyssa enough for all of her hard work and planning over the past two years to make our dream wedding become a reality. Everyone needs Alyssa at their wedding!! My husband & I met Alyssa over a year before our wedding & we knew immediately she would be an absolute blessing to have in our corner. She was our “day of” coordinator, but that meant so much more than just “day of.” She checked in several times throughout the planning process to see how we were doing, gave us access to Aisle Planner (which was SO helpful for the planning process), and began working with us heavily about 2 months before our wedding day. She tied together the finishing pieces, coordinated with our vendor team, created our day of timeline, and thought of so many things we would not have. She helped us through the stresses of COVID wedding planning and assured us every step of the way. When the actual weekend finally came around, I was a complete mess. The weather was horrendous (for our outdoor wedding) & the stresses of COVID had really caught up to me. She was incredibly kind & knew the exact right words to say when she saw me at rehearsal the day before. She got everyone into gear & focused, but she also got everyone (including me) excited & so happy that we were finally there to CELEBRATE. After that, the weather began to break & the forecast was getting better and better for wedding day. She checked in on my bridesmaids and I at the hotel Saturday morning, making sure everything was okay- she helped set up the detail shots with our photographer, and somehow also managed to execute the entire venue set up as well. Throughout the day, she kept us all on schedule, quickly solved any problem that arose, and coordinated the break down of the event. She truly thought of everything & made it so that our bridal party, our families, and my husband & I could truly enjoy our day and not worry about the big or small details at that point. Also.. she did this all with a huge smile & an effortless demeanor.. I really don’t know how!! We cannot thank Alyssa enough & we will be eternally grateful for everything she did for us on our wedding day & leading up to it.

I really do not know how to put into words how grateful I am that we had Alyssa plan my Daughter's wedding. She was given the challenge of planning a wedding during COVID and she did a bang up job! Alyssa's other challenge was keeping my Daughter and I calm throughout the process because we weren't sure if we were going to be able to have a wedding or not, were we going to have to reschedule, were we going to get our money back from our venue... Whenever we got off the phone with Alyssa my daughter and I would look at each other and say, "She is so cute! She always makes me feel so much better! Okay, we can do this!" The wedding could not have been a more beautiful ceremony in the wine vineyards and a very fun and outstanding tent reception. Alyssa pulled it all together by coordinating all of the vendors. I cannot put into words how AMAZING Alyssa was throughout our entire wedding planning process! Her attention to detail and eye for design were incredible. Within a few meetings, she had a perfect idea of what Ethan and I were looking for. Because of Alyssa, I was never stressed, which I do not say lightly since we had to reschedule our wedding date due to COVID. Not only did she plan our wedding beginning to end, she planned it twice. She knew exactly what to look for and what to ask in every single vendor meeting. She blew Ethan and I away with everything she was prepared for, most of which we wouldn’t have thought of, if it wasn’t for her. Alyssa Thomas was the best investment we could have made for our wedding day! She met with us to hear what our expectations were and how we wanted our wedding day to look. When COVID-19 forced us to shift our wedding back a couple months, Alyssa's coordination made sure that all my same vendors were available. She also was able to shift from a fully indoor ceremony & reception, to outside ceremony and reception for over 120 people in under 2 months. We hired Alyssa for the full service planning package, as we live in California and were getting married in Pennsylvania, and we were so unbelievably happy that we did. As a stationer and calligrapher I've had the opportunity to work with Alyssa in several different capacities - styled shoots, real weddings, networking events, and logo design - and she is hands down one of the best planners I've gotten to work with! Alyssa was always there to talk throughout all of the wedding planning. Alyssa made all the final stages in the planning process so much easier because she thought of all the things I wouldn't have thought of. I really can't thank her enough. You will not regret having her part of your day!

Alyssa was our day of coordinator for our wedding. Our only regret is not hiring her sooner! As the Mother of Bride, Alyssa was such a blessing to me. As a mom you want your daughters wedding to perfect! And perfect it was! I was able to simply be the Mom and enjoy our daughters wedding day💚 A wedding on a beach is beautiful and Alyssa even took into account the wind and humidity and jumped in to help with hair and makeup to help ensure the bride and bridal party looked perfect! One of the best investments we made for our wedding was hiring Alyssa. Hiring Alyssa for partial wedding planning and design services was easily one of the best decisions we made. She took my often poorly articulated, vague ideas of what I wanted the wedding to be like and made them not only real, but even better than I had imagined. Our wedding really was perfect, and I can’t imagine what it would have been like without her. Throughout the entire process, we were constantly impressed by how she managed to be incredibly kind and accommodating, but also pragmatic and efficient. From our first conversation with her, it was obvious that she had a can-do attitude and paid close personal attention to her clients. She was very flexible on her level of involvement and was happy to tailor a contract specifically to our needs, in stark contrast to other wedding planners we talked to who were strictly full-service or day-of only. We had already selected a venue, and it was agreed that we would take the lead on finding a DJ and photographer, but beyond that, Alyssa was involved in every other aspect, including coordinating with the venue and all of the vendors as the day approached. I gave her bits and pieces of elements I liked and she came back to us with stationary options, furniture ideas and vendor quotes and contracts. During an early meeting I gave her a scrap of paper torn from a magazine with an arrangement I liked and she came back with a floral design that intermixed that arrangement with candles and other florals for our table centerpieces. For all of the details, she really understood and adapted to our taste and aesthetic preferences, even though they were different than previous weddings she had done. Whenever we talked with Alyssa, we felt like ours was the only wedding she was planning - that we had her complete, undivided attention. We appreciated this the most even in her small acts, like her thoughtful suggestion of using Romanian ceramic dishes as our guest favors (part of our family heritage) and finding an Etsy shop in France that would sell them in bulk. There were so many moments like this where she demonstrated her willingness to go above and beyond to make our wedding amazing. When we forgot to give her pens to go with our guest book on the wedding day, they magically appeared at the venue - it wasn’t until later that we realized that she had brought her own pens so that we would have one less thing to worry about. Needless to say, she ran the wedding day subtly and perfectly. Behind the scenes, she made sure that every detail was in place so that we could focus entirely on our family, friends, and each other. At the end of everything, we are happy to say that we consider Alyssa more than our wedding planner, but a friend (and a bit of a wedding magician).

Wow, words cannot express how thankful we were to have Alyssa’s help the day of our wedding. As cheesy as it’s sounds, it’s totally true when I say that our day would not have been the same without her! From our meetings along the way, her organization, and incredible eye for detail, I can honestly say that our vision came to reality! We opted to have our wedding reception at my parents home (talk about crazy) and Alyssa was up for the challenge! She worked so hard that day keeping us up-to-date on the days events, coordinating vendors, helping set up the gift table, and even helped tidy up late into the night! This girl is incredible!

Alyssa is great! No matter what services you need or where your wedding will be held, Alyssa will go above and beyond to meet your needs. We met via video conference and discussed my vision; she then put together a Pinterest board and helped me make a budget for my floral arrangements and decor. She directed me to different websites and stores she uses for various fonts and decor, which I would not have been able to find on my own. I'm excited to use her Pinterest board, websites, and ideas for my wedding next year!

My husband and I could not have been more grateful to have Alyssa helping us throughout our whole wedding planning process. I had so many ideas but wasn't entirely sure how to incorporate them into the wedding and she helped me tremendously.
