Amanda price and team are hands down the best thing we did for our wedding. I was so at ease all day. We did the full service package where they guide you and step in on all communication leading up to your wedding. I highly recommend that package as you will get so many emails from your vendors and to have Amanda price and Amanda tissue on every email responding and keeping things organized actually made the planning process fun. They were so on top of it at the rehearsal and the day of I had zero stress. I cannot rave about this team enough and tell you that it’s worth your time and money to hire them. Amanda was the most incredible planner, advocate, supporter and friend through our entire wedding planning process and we could not happier with our decision to hire her for our February 2023 wedding (the weekend after Mardi Gras, too!) She had to navigate the waters of a "new venue" all while working with me and my family who live out of state in Texas and did it with confidence and professionalism. Long overdue review for Amanda. Our original wedding was supposed to be 3/21/2020, in the very early waves of covid postponements when no one knew what was going on. Amanda helped us navigate these uncharted waters and keep us afloat through 3 postponements. We finally had our wedding this year and it went out off without a hitch. Thank you thank you thank you Amanda for making sure our wedding day was perfect.

I feel like I could gush forever about how amazing Amanda is. From the beginning Amanda made us feel totally at ease, giving us a sense of calm in wedding planning. I'm actually a wedding photographer, so I know the industry pretty well and I can say without a doubt Amanda is one of the best in her field. We were planning our wedding in New Orleans from Boston and she helped us out so much. When we weren't able fly out again for our tasting with our caterers, she joined my parents there to make sure everything went well. On our wedding day she went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, she even got a poke bowl for my now husband when he got hungry in the middle of the day. She is just an absolute ray of sunshine, and handles any issues that might come up during the planning process or wedding day. I was able to just show up and enjoy the day because I knew I could trust her to run the entire day smoothly. Hire her immediately because she will make wedding planning so much easier.

We used Amanda and her team the month leading up to the wedding and I have 0 regrets. The expense on this was worth every penny for the peace of mind Amanda provides. Amanda Price and her team were the perfect partners for my wedding in New Orleans. I interviewed a few other planners but AP made me feel like I was a priority and I immediately trusted her. Working full time and planning a wedding is very difficult and they made it SO EASY. I got married at the Ritz-Carlton and they had only done one other wedding there but it seemed like they had done 1,000 weddings there. Every detail was thought of and addressed and I was completely worry-free the month leading up to the wedding. They were EXTREMELY responsive at all hours of the day and I felt like I was in great hands from the start. They made sure I got the best vendors and I could not have been happier. My make up artist even said she doesn't do alot of weddings but made an exception because I had Amanda Price as my coordinator. The best part about this team was the TRUST. They made everything work within my budget and never recommended ideas that weren't value-added. I never felt like they were asking me to spend money unnecessarily. I hired them to do the overall design of my ceremony and reception in addition to coordination and it completely blew me away. I had high expectations and had a really good idea of what it was going to look like based on the design boards but I was completely shocked and amazed when I walked down the aisle and again when we made our entrance into the reception. I could've never even dreamed my wedding was going to be that nice. I felt so at-ease the weekend and day of the wedding because they had everything under control and truly made me feel like a priority. I had so much fun and never had to worry about anything. I really can't recommend them enough.

Where to even begin. Originally I was just looking for a "month" of coordinator. I have a type A personality so I like to do a lot of things myself because otherwise it wont get done or it wont be perfect the way that I want it to be. From the beginning when we first talked she pointed out so many things I would never have thought of. I didn't have my wedding at your typical wedding venue so there was much more to think about and do for that then I realized, and after already a few months of it being A LOT I knew I needed her for the entire thing. She was the perfect. A ball buster from the get go. So organized and focus on making my day the most special day. She had an incredible team and so many resources that helped guide me in doing exactly what needed to be done. If things went wrong she put those fires out immediately and navigated us through different scenarios- always had a plan B! NEVER complained about my 294275 emails I sent her a week. Although I know she was working on plenty of other events, she never made me feel that mine was on the back burner and was always so responsive and attentive to my needs. I knew Amanda when we were kids growing up so it was such a wonderful time reconnecting. Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart, for everything you did for us! You nailed it 10/10. I had the most amazing wedding and im still talking about how much fun we had almost a month later!

We actually found Amanda on the recommended vendors listed on The Mazant website where we had our wedding. Not enough space to tell you how amazing this team is and how good they are at their job. We couldn’t have done it without them and I mostly worked with Amanda Tissue. She was so quick to get back to me, went and checked out our venue for us because we couldn’t see, and designed our whole set up and everything. They did so much more but we couldn’t be more pleased with what an incredible job they did. All our vendors had the best things to say about the Amanda’s and they just made our day the most special. Love them and would choose them again for sure!

Amanda is an absolute angel and was a dream to work with from start to finish! We had started the wedding planning process but we realized quickly that we needed much more than a “day of” or “month of” coordinator to plan our wedding weekend! I knew on our very first call that Amanda would be the perfect person to plan the most magical day of our lives and keep me sane through the entire process. She is impeccably organized and detail-oriented, professional, thoughtful, and the perfect balance of sassy and sweet! She provided all of the tools I needed to stay organized, including the most comprehensive to do list that helped me stick to our timeline every step of the way. She lined up meetings, provided vendor recommendations, helped us make decisions, and calmed our worries (but thanks to her we didn’t have many). She was always so responsive throughout the entire process, including a postponement. She cared about our wedding as much as we did and made sure our vision came to life. No small thing was overlooked and her number one priority was that we relaxed and enjoyed every moment of our day. When we had issues with our venue and our videographer, she guided us through solving problems and finding a new videographer, and she made sure we were protected every step of the way. On top of all of her amazing work, she is a genuine, funny, and now a friend! I honestly don’t know how we would have done it without her. Now I just need to think of another celebration to put together so I can work with her again!

We truly would not have been able to pull off our wedding without Amanda Price and Amanda Tissue. Navigating wedding planning from afar during a pandemic is difficult, but these two made the entire process so incredibly easy and organized - no detail was left behind. WOW. Where to start! Not only is Amanda a beautiful person/soul but she made the entire planning process STRESS FREE. When I tell you we just showed up when/where Amanda told us to that is what we did. I feel lucky I got to spend such a special day with her and her team and she ensured everything went perfectly. Amanda was great for our wedding! We faced a huge set back the day before, with out outdoor wedding now lookig at rain in the forecast and wet grounds. She quickly negotiated with the venue to allow us to use a room on the grounds never opened up to a wedding before. My husband and I got engaged the week before covid hit. We wanted a Nola wedding but had no clue AT ALL how to pull that off while living and quarantining in Dallas. I found Amanda on The Knot and in a last- ditch attempt to save my wedding dreams, gave her a call. Within the first five minutes of our call, I’d felt like I’d made a new friend- now I know I was right! Amanda kept constant communication with me every single week during our 15 month engagement, keeping me posted on Covid restrictions in NOLA and generally talking me off the ledge when I needed it. When wedding day rolled around, she made sure I did not have to sacrifice one inch of my dream wedding, even with covid (and second line) restrictions in place. Amanda rescued my daughter’s pandemic wedding. She found a new reception venue for us one month before the event! She helped with all the final details so I was able to enjoy my daughter’s special day. She was terrific!

Getting a wedding planner was always in our cards because we were planning the wedding to be in my home town in New Orleans and we live in NYC. Since can't be in two places at once it just seemed like the obvious choice. If I could go back in time I would Thank myself 1000000 times!!!! I could never have imagined how critical it would be to have Amanda, the wedding planner of all wedding planners!!! She's not only a kick ass organizer, budget controller, she's a sweetheart. When COVID-19 hit and we had to move EVERYTHING I can't tell you how exhausted and devastated I was thinking about all of the work I would have to do and not only that the emotional toll of calling each vender and figuring out the new way to do this....but I did no such thing Amanda handled EVERYTHING!!!!! As a wedding videographer who has been in the industry for almost 5 years I have had the privilege of working with Amanda on multiple occasions. My fiancé and I are both busy medical students planning our wedding at a distance. Throughout the planning process Amanda was organized, thorough, and reliable, which made planning a wedding from a distance remarkably easy. I don't have an eye for design, so I loved how Amanda really took time to understand my aesthetic preferences and helped bring them together into a cohesive design plan. I absolutely love the mock-ups for our wedding board and cannot wait to see our dream become a reality. Amanda also did a fantastic job communicating with vendors and reviewing contracts for us. Most importantly, Amanda had been our saving grace during the COVID-19 pandemic. She quickly helped us find a new date and coordinate with our vendors. I don't even know where to begin this review because nothing I say about Amanda will do her any justice. When we first started planning our wedding, I wasn't going to hire a wedding planner. I thought we could manage it on our own (even though we live 850 miles away). I definitely didn't think a planner was in our budget. But once we started looking into vendors, we became overwhelmed very quickly. We decided to start looking into planners and Amanda had been recommended to me by a few photographers, so I gave her a call. She and I clicked immediately. I got off the phone and told my fiancé that we had a planner! Amanda was everything we could have ever asked for and even more. From the moment we started planning our wedding in February 2019, Amanda has been our rock. We live in west Texas and every time we flew into town, she picked us up from the airport and we hit the ground running with appointments she had lined up for us. She always made the most of our time in Nola and we accomplished so much on each planning trip. She checked in with us often when we weren't in town and always made sure we were comfortable with our progress. She also had GREAT recommendations for other vendors and helped so much in the research process. I knew when I started planning that I didn't have a creative eye and that I would need help pulling our vision together. Amanda not only executed a wedding that was better than anything we ever dreamed of, but all of our guests told us it was the best wedding they'd ever been to as well. The team of vendors Amanda assembled knocked every detail out of the park. Everything was breathtaking. On the day of the wedding, she had a great timeline created and kept us on a reasonable and easy schedule. Amanda also made the wedding planning process so easy. I have so many girlfriends that felt major stress during wedding planning and they couldn't wait for their weddings to be over. I never felt this way working with Amanda. I felt calm and prepared and was able to enjoy my wedding day with no stress at all. I was actually sad the planning was over. Throughout the 13 months of planning, Amanda was so much more than a planner for us. She was a therapist when I needed her to be, a voice of reason when we were being indecisive, a boss during the times we just needed to be told what to do, and most importantly, a good friend. She met and exceeded all of our needs and our wedding wouldn't have been as perfect as it was without her. Even if you don't think you have a planner in your budget, even if you think you can handle planning a wedding on your own, give Amanda a call. Amanda was the BEST wedding planner and easily the BEST choice I made for my wedding. She was organized, knowledgeable, easy to relate to, and responsive. She has connections in the industry that made some of my more odd requests very easy. She also never pushed me in one direction or the other but listened to what I wanted and acted on it or offered sage advice. She was an excellent mediator and listener for my parents who didn’t always agree. The day of the wedding, she was the calmness I needed. NOTHING phased me on that day because I knew Amanda could, and did, handle it. I’m sure something didn’t go as planned on my big day but I have NO IDEA what it was because Amanda made sure I never had to deal with it. She kept me and my husband moving around the room the whole night, kept us to a schedule for pictures, eating, made sure I had a drink in my hand, and that all of the odd requests like “a random picture with my step-sister at some point in the night” was taken care of. And, when it was all over, it was over. I didn’t have to contact vendors, return items, get my things from the venue. Amanda handled it all so I got to just sit back and relax after a stressful few days. My bridesmaids, guests, and parent’s friends loved her and asked for her name for their events. And my dad loved her – I can’t give her higher praise than that! I have referred her several times since and will continue to do so! THANK YOU, AMANDA!

Amanda is the best! If you’re trying to decide if you need a planner or not, you really do! It’s so worth finding a way to fit in your budget. From our first meeting, I just knew Amanda would help us plan and execute the best wedding! She is extremely organized, has all the right connections, makes sure nothing slips through the cracks and very detailed oriented. She’s also extremely responsive and answered all my questions quickly. From a planning perspective, she has the timing of when you need to make decisions down to a science and makes sure you get things done ahead of schedule. She has several vendor recommendations and I was extremely happy with all of them. She handles the scheduling of meetings, contract management and schedule of payments. Above and beyond the logistics and planning, Amanda was able to execute my vision. I showed her my ideas and she made them happen. As for the day of the wedding, her and her team executed flawlessly. I was able to fully experience and live in the moment of my wedding. She made sure that we followed the schedule of events and things went smoothly. I have heard from so many guests that my wedding was one of the best they had ever been to and had so many unique touches- and I fully attribute this to Amanda’s planning. My husband, parents and I can’t speak highly enough of Amanda. She’s easy to work with, calming, so kind and quickly became a friend- not just our planner!

Amanda was the best wedding planner! She is really the person who made our event all come together . Without her help, I don’t think this would have been the amazing event it was! I can be a bit of a procrastinator, and with her help everything was done on time. She also made the hard conversations about money and negotiating a lot easier. The vendors she suggested, helped us tremendously so that we didn’t need to spend time looking for them. This review does not even do justice to how much I appreciated everything she did for us, and how she really made the whole process of planning so much more fun! I would recommend her to anyone who is getting married! She is so hard working and I know that she was constantly looking out for my best interest so that we would have the best wedding weekend!

As the Father of the Bride, I was the biggest cynic of a "wedding planner!" We interviewed 6, and quickly narrowed it down to Amanda, and when you talk to her you'll know why. I remained skeptical of the value of a wedding planner, until we began finalizing details 2 months prior to wedding (Oct 2019). Aside from what Amanda proactively handled in those 2 months, it was the weekend & day of that slapped me in the face. Oh my, how Amazing Amanda was! AP was the absolute best and made our wedding run so smoothly. She was so easy to talk to and make decisions with and she was direct enough to get things done and get them done quickly and respectfully. She made my husband and I’s dream wedding a reality. We not only formed a great relationship with her, but our entire family did as well. I didn’t realize how helpful it was so have a planner until we met Amanda. We still to this day talk to Amanda and I can’t wait to see her again soon!

I can't speak highly enough about the work that Amanda put into our wedding. She was so organized, thought of things we never would have, offered advice when called up, and all with a smile. She kept everyone calm and worked out details with other vendors as we adjusted to the news about the coronavirus and managed to pull off a beautiful wedding in spite of it. Amanda and her staff always went above and beyond to the point where numerous family members and guests mentioned how amazing our wedding coordinator was. One example came from my sister-in-law who has a 5 month old daughter and was busy feeding her when dinner was served. Amanda's staff offered to make a plate for her and my sister-in-law was so impressed! Amanda goes the extra mile and you'd be lucky to have her as your coordinator.

WE LOVE AMANDA. I will never be able to thank Amanda enough for her work leading up to, and especially on, our wedding day. From the very beginning she jumped in with perfect vendor recommendations for our budget and vision, and continued to make sure we had every detail tied down in our contracts as we went along, and finally handled all communications with vendors in the last 6 weeks leading up to the wedding. You will understand as you approach your wedding date how crucial this service is -- the stress sets in and the last thing you want to do is coordinate logistics with 10+ vendors. Being able to trust someone as experienced, well-connected and skilled as Amanda is a blessing! The timeline she put together for our wedding weekend was very well thought out, detailed, and critical to the seamless flow of the day. Our families and bridal parties loved the transparency and information in the timeline and it made everyone feel more at ease. At one point before the wedding, Amanda told me that for one day in my (very Type A) life, I can kick back, focus on enjoying my new husband and guests who have traveled to celebrate with us, and let her handle all of the nitty gritty details/ logistics/ other annoyances that popped up. I truly cannot thank her enough for taking all of this weight off of my shoulders and empowering and encouraging me to fully soak in that beautiful day. I had absurdly high expectations, and she exceeded every single one of them. If you hire her, I can assure you that you'll feel the same way. After the wedding, countless guests asked us about Amanda's services because they had never thought to engage a coordinator or planner, but could now readily see the invaluable service they provide. Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives and we have to thank Amanda from the bottom of our hearts for making it so perfect!

Where do we even begin with how amazing Amanda was for our big day. We used Amanda's month of wedding planning, and it was definitely a necessity we didn't know we needed! She is with you every step of the way. She thought of every detail that never crossed our minds. She reviewed all of our contracts and kept in close contact with all of our vendors to make sure everything was taken care of. I cannot say how much it meant to not have to worry about a single thing on the day of the wedding. She kept us calm and relaxed making sure we were able to soak up every moment and truly enjoy ourselves. If something went wrong on our wedding day, I have no clue to this day! She even reminded me to eat and drink water while getting ready. She comes with an amazing assistant and kit of everything you could possibly need last minute. Not kidding about that, everything from make up to double stick tape to medications and other emergency needs! She is truly a gem and someone who deserves all the praise! We absolutely loved her and cannot say enough about her!

As a maid of honor I didn’t hire Amanda, but I am so happy the bride did! Amanda was phenomenal! She was down to earth, down to business and down for a good time! She managed everything behind the scenes but was always within ear shot and popped in at all the right conversations and moments. She was instrumental in making the day smooth and seamless. Again, as a maid of honor and not a bride, I did catch her wrangling potential chaos: sewing a groomsman’s jacket, holding numerous bridesmaids shawls, managing the timeline and sweetly guiding the bride and groom to all the right locations and through all the craziness. She was flawless in her delivery, but my favorite thing about my experience with her was that she managed the crazy details and I was able to focus and take in my best friend’s amazing beautiful day by her side. I owe Amanda for that, she’s a true gem.

We hired Amanda as a coordinator for our event day and we handled the planning ourselves. Even so, she was invaluable in the planning process, giving advice on vendors and looking over contracts for essential details before we signed. And we didn't think twice about details in the days leading up to and at our party. We just enjoyed ourselves! Amanda was so great to work with!

Mandy and our daughter Kelsey have been friends since high school so when Kelsey got engaged she had a dilemma. She wanted Mandy to be a bridesmaid and to be her wedding planner! One might ask how Mandy was going to pull this off and while I was a bit curious she had everything under control. Mandy is extremely organized, detail oriented, and efficient so Kelsey and Cody’s special day was simply perfect! Mandy’s connections in the industry allowed us to select from many vendors and allowed her to both plan and participate in her friends wedding. Mandy truly made the experience much easier on the parents and bride and allowed us to enjoy the night with family and friends.

Not only does she have the personality to gently guide you through the process, she also has the organizational skills to get the job done in a very timely and efficient manner. She put together meetings with the vendors. She was very familiar with the contractual aspects of the event. She worked with our budget and was prompt when addressing any issues or questions As with any large event, there is some expectation that something would go wrong. I felt comfortable from the very MOMENT I met Amanda. We met at a coffee shop, with my future mother in law, and shared laughs from the get-go. She was so easy to talk to, and understood clearly what kind of vibe I was trying to emanate on my special day. Throughout the planning process, she was so attentive with details, yet providing enough space to never stress me out. It was always easy communicating back and forth with Amanda. Even after a surprise state park mishap, she got the right people in to fix the problem and by the time night came, nobody would have ever known that we had no water access all day! Ah! I don’t even know where to begin to write about how amazing Amanda is. I hired Amanda as my “month of wedding coordinator”. Right after my fiancé and I got engaged, I wasn’t sure if I even needed a wedding coordinator (that’s what everyone thinks). I decided to talk to Amanda and see what she was all about. After one short conversation with Amanda I knew I needed her on my wedding day. I booked her exactly a year in advance of my wedding and from then on she was with me every step of the way. I would text and email her and she was always there to help and answer my questions. She is so detail oriented and wants your wedding day to be exactly how you want it. The month of our wedding wasn’t even hectic because she came up with an amazing itinerary and I didn’t even have to worry. On our wedding day, Amanda ran EVERYTHING. Not one thing was out of place. Everything went so smoothly. She even got my fiancé and his groomsmen to cooperate (which is a whole job in itself). I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without her. She’s absolutely outstanding. If you think you don’t need a wedding coordinator- think again. You definitely need Amanda!! Highly recommend!!!!

All I can say about Amanda Price is "WOW"! She did a phenomenal job coordinating our daughter's wedding! She communicated with all the vendors, worked through contracts, created a timeline and made it all happen! The details, the flow, everything! Extremely efficient and professional! We hired Amanda almost two year ago as our day of coordinator for our wedding as we did not have one at our venue and because we are from out of town. Over those two years she helped with whatever we needed. She attended walkthroughs, organized timelines, and was a great sounding board for ideas. The week leading up to our 7/12 wedding she contacted all of our vendors worked with them on the timeline and really made us feel stress free with all the moving pieces coming together. Fast forward to 7/10 and we realized our wedding probably would not be happening at our chosen venue due to Tropical Storm Barry. Amanda was calm through the entire thing including multiple sobbing phone conversations with me and really made us feel supported in whatever decision we made. At around 6 pm on 7/10 we decided to cancel our wedding on 7/12 and throw a whole new one at a whole new venue on 7/11. Because of her awesome reputation and contacts she literally rescheduled a whole wedding with all our vendors for the next day. I had never even been to this venue before our wedding day. Amanda not only pulled this off but it was such an amazing day. I seriously can not thank her enough. Without a doubt if it wasn’t for her I would probably still be crying over my wedding that could have been instead of glowing in the aftermath of the best day of my life. If you are on the fence about whether or not you need an event coordinator let me tell you that you do. They do all of the worrying for you and come up with plans a, b, c or in my case plan d. Amanda does all of this and still has a smile on her face. I can not recommend her enough. Thank you Amanda !

Amanda Price has the qualities everyone looks for when planning a special event, or in our case, a wedding. Amanda and her crew was punctual and had everything single thing covered A-Z. On the day of the wedding, the venue location fell through on a couple of promises and she saved the day! We were so relieved, thanks to her.
