Amanda's Collection

brought my dress in on a Friday and it was ready to be picked up Monday morning for my bridal portraits. The week of the wedding, I felt like it needed to be taken in more and Amanda squeezed me in the very next morning (which was a Thursday and our wedding was on Saturday). She altered my dress right then and there, it was finished and fit like a GLOVE in less than an hour. Not only does Amanda genuinely love what she does, but she’s incredibly talented too. She’s such a sweet person and I’m so grateful to know her - I speak of her and her work so highly, I can’t recommend her enough!

on from beginning to end! They weren’t pushy or overbearing like other places I went to before, and they have a large collection of dresses in so many styles and price ranges. They were beyond helpful and sweet, it was an experience i’ll remember for the rest of my life! Seriously so could go on for days about how outstanding they were, I even received a card congratulating me written by Gentry herself! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Amanda somehow squeezed me in and helped me find dresses that were completely my style. I came back with an appointment a few weeks later to try on a couple of the dresses I had liked, and then I found the one. Every step of the way, Amanda was super helpful, so friendly, and she made sure everything was perfect. Her whole staff is wonderful, and I highly recommend them!

t to pick it up anD it didn't fit properly. I had went back for alterations atleast 3 times. The day I walked down the aisle there were pins left in the bottom throughout the layers. As I walked I had to ignore the pins poking at my ankles. Instead of enjoying that moment, I had to make a conscious effort to not trip over the unfinished dress and not look uncomfortable. To top it off I had pins falling down the aisle as a walked. Later, I ended up tripping over the unfinished thing while dancing. I refuse to ever recommend this place or ever go back. WHAT A LET DOWN.

otal wrong size. The main issue we had was with my bridesmaids, who were told multiple times that they had gained weight - very unprofessional. One of my bridesmaids had most defiantly not put on weight and was told she put on 3 inches... If anything, I would have went elsewhere for the bridesmaid dresses.

I fell in love with a Maggie Sottero gown. I left the salon that day without the gown because I wasn't sure if the $1500 price tag on the dress was worth it to me or not. I had set my budget at $1000 prior to looking and didn't want to go over it. I went back later in the week to Amanda's Collection and the store owner came out and offered sample gown to me "as is" at a discounted price. After checking over the gown to be sure there were no major flaws or stains I accepted the offer. They went above and beyond by including the crinoline and cups that would be sewn into the gown. In addition, they dyed any spots that looked "dirty", re-sewed any beading that may be loose and re-stitched and dyed the corset ribbon that needed some work after many people trying the gown on. Overall, the gown was an excellent condition for being a sample gown. The staff at Amanda's Collection were friendly, attentive and truly enjoyed what they do. In fact, we had such a great experience there my mother in law refused to buy a her gown any where other than at Amanda's Collection!

ies made all the guys feel welcome. Our wedding was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. They made sure the tuxs arrived on time due to the Holiday. All the guys were sized exact. There were not any problems with getting extra pants, shirts or buttons. Wonderful service. My husband has been in several weddings and he always goes to Amanda. There was no way Amanda was not going to be included in our big day.

er after speaking to Amanda about it, she met me 1/2 way with the price. They may be a bit pricer that some 'chain' bridal shops, but I think the small town, family atmosphere was worth it.
