I met with so many florists before picking Amanda's but I'm so glad that I did. They took my vision and made it a reality and even better than I imagined. Their ability to work within my budget and not try to up sell me was beyond appreciated. Everything turned out beautiful and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a florist in the Harford County area.

Amanda's Florist created the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and ceremony flowers for our wedding in October. They did an amazing job and provided us with some truly stunning arrangements. In particular, I absolutely fell in love with my bouquet. They were wonderful to work with, delivering the flowers to the venue and helping set them up. We were really impressed by how Amanda was able to translate the general feel of our wedding into the most perfectly fitting arrangements. She takes the time to meet with the couple and really listen to what they want, providing recommendations for how to make it a reality but always encouraging feedback from the bride and groom. Definitely highly recommend!

I was weirdly nervous about the flowers for my June 2017 wedding, but Amanda's Florist did an amazing job creating exactly what I had pictured in my head! The flowers were more affordable than other places, and Amanda stayed in my budget range. Beautiful work, and wonderful people. Easy to work with. I'd recommend calling them instead of email. It was actually kind of cute - Amanda got pretty excited when we met for our initial discussion about executing my vision. She seems genuinely passionate about creating what you want.

Our bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and centerpieces turned out beautifully. Amanda's Florist really captured our vision for how the day would turn out. Our entire bridal party was very happy. If I had to give recommendations to clients, I would say go in to your meeting one of two ways - up for anything, or, with photos and a solid vision of how you want the day to look. We had a few miscommunications and had to request changes to our centerpieces at the last minute, but in the end they turned out great. Just be extra clear on what you are looking for and what you do not like and you'll be fine.

Amanda was so wonderful to work with. I don't much about flowers nor did I have a massive budget but that didn't phase Amanda. She sat down with me and walked me through all of my options for my flowers, making me feel so comfortable through the whole process. And then when several hurricanes interfered with us getting the flowers I wanted, I came into the shop and she had SEVEN new options to replace the flowers I wanted. Amanda and her staff really go above and beyond to make you happy the day of. All of our flowers were perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you Amanda for making our day so special!

Amanda was AMAZING throughout the whole process leading up to my wedding. She was always available and very responsive to everything I reached out to her about. She is very honest and works hard to get you exactly what you want for your wedding day at a reasonable price. Her flowers and arrangements exceeded our expectations and she did an incredible job!! My bouquet was gorgeous and exactly what I hoped for! I highly recommend Amanda and would use her over and over again!

Amanda was wonderful to work with! I did not have much direction as to where I wanted to go with my wedding flowers, so Amanda walked me through step by step to narrow down looks that I liked. We were extremely happy with Amaanda’s Flourist on our wedding day. She was very easy to work with and provided a very high level of customer service. We met her a few months before our wedding to pick out our flowers. We showed her pictures of flowers we had found online that we liked, and she was able to craft a package that met our needs without breaking the budget. Wow! Just wow! Our flowers were amazing, our venue looked amazing, and our tables looked amazing! Amanda asked me questions during our initial meeting to get a gauge of my personality. This touch was key in us deciding to use her, because I knew after that meeting she understood exactly what I was looking for. I was right! My bouquet was even prettier than I pictured in my head, and my bridesmaids bouquets were exactly the pop of color I was hoping for. Choosing Amanda's Florist was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding! The flower arrangements were phenomenal! She went above and beyond to meet with us multiple times to discuss all the minor details from curtain tiebacks to urn colors to centerpiece arrangements. Her creativity and attention to detail allowed the flower arrangements to be so incredibly unique with combinations of flowers I have never seen at any other wedding or event. She knew the questions to ask in order to truly understand what I was envisioning for the day. The arrangements were within the exact color scheme and style I had imagined my wedding to be. When I first arrived to the venue on the day of the wedding, the first area I saw was the ceremony area with all the flowers and I was absolutely speechless. My guests are still talking about how beautiful they were. I truly can't thank and recommend her enough!

Amanda's helped us have the most beautiful flowers at our wedding. Amanda let my wife design the bouquets, which added to the surprise and romance of the day. It's been five days since our wedding and our flowers are still going strong! We could not have asked for a better experience when looking for local bridal flowers so close to our venue. I cannot say enough about Amanda and the staff here. They all worked with me to bring my dreams to life. Everyone was professional and took the time to know me personally. This was a small shop that handled my big order. My flowers were so fresh and pricing was cheaper than what I expected. I love it here!

Amanda did an absolutely wonderful job with our flowers - from helping us select what we wanted to being flexible to changes and delivering the most gorgeous flowers that lasted all the way till the next day! Couldn't be happier.

Amanda was so great to work with. I had no clear vision of what flowers I wanted, and she put together samples during our consultation until she found the perfect combination for me! Everything was delivered just before the ceremony in glass vases, and even days after the ceremony my bouquet looked beautiful!

We’re so happy that we decided to work with Amanda for flowers for our wedding in April! We were just interested in doing a small flower order, since we didn’t want floral centerpieces, but Amanda was committed to making the order great even though it was small. Amanda was so great about working with us on our budget and helping come up with great ideas. I don’t know much about flowers, other than I like what I see when I see it, but Amanda asked all the right questions in my consultation and figured out what I liked, and the final result was so beautiful! She was even able to incorporate hydrangeas and tulips, which were really important to us, even though they are really fragile and might not work well out of water for a long time – she figured out how best to make it work and it turned out great! I also really appreciated that she had us come by the night before the wedding to double check that we were happy with everything so that she could make changes if we weren’t – that was so thoughtful, and it gave us a chance to notice all the details that we might not have noticed during the day. Amanda was so great to work with, and I’d definitely do it again in a heartbeat!

I was apprehensive about my appointments with different florists. It was the one area of planning my wedding that I had no idea what I wanted and what I was looking for. After speaking with Amanda, she helped guide me in making the perfect flower choices for my bouquets. Through our conversations and looking through several pictures, I was able to communicate with Amanda what colors and styles I loved without even knowing it. The day before the wedding, Amanda asked me to come to the shop to take a look at my bouquet. I was blown away with the finished product. It was even better than I had ever imagined it would be. It was the perfect bouquet for me. Amanda and her team did an amazing job.

We used Amanda's Florist to provide our Bouquets (Bride + 4 Bridesmaids), Corsages (2), Boutonnieres (6), (1) Toss Bouquet, (2) Vased Arrangements for Ceremony / Reception Decor & (1) Flower Girl Basket. I could not say enough good things about my experience. One thing that really impressed me was we finished talking about what I wanted, and she said "okay hold tight a minute and i'll run the numbers so we can keep talking!" and 5 minutes later she came back and had a write up of what each item would cost. Now this was very different than every other florist who would take a week to send back pricing. I loved being able to instantly know what things would cost and at the time I was able to readjust some of the types of flowers to get the pricing where I wanted it. As my wedding drew near I had some adjustments to my order (adding in a toss bouquet) and she was ready for me with the questions that she needed answered such as colors for corsages, etc. I felt like she knew my order and had her notes in order which gave me reassurances that things would be just fine. Amanda strongly suggests that brides come in a day before to see the flowers so you can be sure that what you envisioned is what her and her crew are providing. I went in and was very glad I did. The arrangements were beautiful, and were exactly what we had discussed and that was when I realized I wanted to add more messiness to my bouquet and I wanted to add another pop of color to the bridesmaids bouquets. Amanda instantly adjusted my bouquet and took it from great to phenomenal and we were able to add in some berries to the bridesmaids bouquets which just brought them to another level. Taking those 10 minutes out of my day was totally worth it. I really enjoyed my experience with Amanda and her great Staff!

Amanda was absolutely amazing! She picked my brain to figure out exactly what each piece should look like, had me come in a day in advance to make sure I like everything, and personally delivered the flowers to my venue herself! The bouquets and boutonnieres were perfect and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. Great prices too!!

Amanda was so awesome! We met with her and discussed our vision for what we wanted, and she was immediately on the same page and even offered suggestions that we hadn't considered! It was obvious from the very beginning that she wanted to give us what we wanted and had no interest in overcharging us for things we didn't need in order to accomplish what we wanted, which, when it comes to flowers, she could have easily done, as neither me nor my husband know that much about flowers and their pricing. You can really tell that she wants to provide something that will make her customers happy while maintaining her integrity as an artist, and we completely appreciate that quality about her. Her pricing was incredibly fair and she was so easy to work with. I highly recommend her services to anyone who is in need of a florist. She did exactly what I wanted and I got so many compliments on my bouquets.

First let me start by saying that ALL of our wedding vendors were INCREDIBLE. They are the kind of people you would want to hang out with, while still being complete professionals and amazing at their jobs. I don't know if that is the sign of someone who is just a really cool person or a true professional who is good at their job, or both!! Amanda’s Florist does a PHENOMENAL job. Amanda turned my vision of my wedding flowers into a reality, and even incorporated pieces of my mom’s wedding veil into my bouquet. Absolutely beautiful job!

Amanda was great. Our flowers were gorgeous and very affordable! I let her know what I was looking for and she worked with me to create it. I was able to preview the flowers a few days before the wedding. I could not have been happier!

Amanda is an incredible florist. She designed my bouquets, centerpieces and isle decorations for my September 2013 wedding at the Vandiver Inn (this review is inexcusably late!) I was not a well-planned bride and had a very rudimentary idea as far as what I wanted in theme and color. When I came to see Amanda for the first time, all I could tell her was that I wanted “lots of colors.” She helped me narrow down my ideas and worked with me tirelessly until I had a better understanding of what I really wanted. She designed centerpieces for me around beer bottles – and then I ended up scrapping that idea a few weeks prior to the wedding. When I decided to use little white pitchers as my centerpieces, she was flexible and made the makeshift vases work even though she had never worked with these particular pitchers before. They turned out incredible and the look was charming and unique. My bouquet was one of the most beautiful decorations in the whole wedding. I told Amanda I wanted wild flowers and lots of colors. She took my scattered ideas and turned them into something far greater than I could have ever imagined. My bridesmaids’ bouquets were also very beautiful and all of the boutonnieres and corsages looked great as well. I am so grateful to Amanda for all of her hard work. I would definitely recommend Amanda to any customer – particularly if you are having an event at the Vandiver. She knows the venue very well and will understand how to take your ideas, themes, and colors and make them work with the venue. I have no doubt, however, that Amanda would be able to make any customer, at any venue, very happy. She is professional, kind, and listens to what the customer wants (or in my case, helped me figure out what I wanted!) Thank you, Amanda!

I wasn't even going to have flowers in my wedding, I wanted to do a seashell bouquet since I was getting married on the beach. I'm not even a big fan of flowers, but I didn't have the time or money for the seashell bouquet. I told Amanda (who by the way is completely amazing and personable) that I wanted something beachy and simple. She gave me EXACTLY what I wanted, I couldn't have been happier. She incorporated the seashells I wanted and a picture of my father. She was fantastic to work with, I would recommend her to anyone.

Wonderful shop, fantastic owner, and funny! Amanda was such a wonderful owner to work with! She provided one-on-one consultation services for myself and a bridesmaid, hands on planning, we got to see a preview and design our bouquets from a small sampling of what she had on hand, and the whole process was pretty easy. Days before the wedding she contacted me, we incorporated brooches into my bridesmaids' bouquets, and we went to the store to see them finished and make any changes, if needed (none were). I loved working with Amanda and her crew. Fantastic job, she did amazing!

Amanada is not only a fantastic florist, but also a great planner! She goes through every aspect of your wedding and makes great suggestions! Being I had no idea what I needed, she ensured every detail was covered and even used her creativity to make a beautiful display above where we were getting married. Loved her!

Loved using Amanda's florist. I had the most beautiful bouquet of hot pink roses that I have ever seen. Amanda really listened to me and fully delivered. My submerged orchid centerpieces were amazing and numerous guests commented on the look!

I was so pleased with my bouquet and my flowers for the wedding party and the reception. Amanda and I sat down and discussed the flowers I wanted for about 3 hours, we played around with different looks and found something that worked well. I was also able to see the flowers the day before the wedding just incase we needed to make any final changes. Amanda really delivered, I wish I could post the beautiful flowers to this rating.

Thought the work was good quality, she had me come in early to make sure I liked everything ahead of time. Thought she was a bit pushy, but could tell she takes her work very seriously and helped me narrow down the types of flowers and combinations I liked. Cost as expected.

Amanda herself told us we would get PURPLE FLOWERS! We got a pink color! Every thing in the color of raven purple table clothes cake guys vests wire around the glass centerpieces and huh pink orchards no! Yes they are it shows in the video AND the pictures. My second dress reception dance etc and what! Not for all we paid over priced! At that! Would not EVER use her again

Amanda works frequently with our venue, so we were hoping we'd like her work. We met with her for a couple hours and we were really impressed. We liked her ideas and input, but she was clearly careful not to step on our ideas. She helped us create our vision from some pictures and her experience. I updated our order at least 3 times and she took care of everything. Because of the flowers I ordered, she made two deliveries the day of my wedding to keep them as fresh as possible. Our bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnières and ceremony arrangements were more beautiful than I imagined. My mother-in-law also purchased flowers from Amanda for our rehearsal dinner and those were awesome as well. I would go out of my way to work with Amanda in the future. I rated only 4 stars because our price seemed a little high for the flowers I picked ($70 daisy bouquets for my bridesmaids), but I totally loved them and they were worth it! After meeting Amanda, I also didn't shop around, so I can't actually provide evidence that they were more expensive:)

Where do I begin and why can I not give more than 5 stars? I have been in the wedding industry for around a decade, from catering, to banquet managing, to my current position as a wedding coordinator, and I plan nearly 100 weddings a year. I chose Amanda's Florist simply because she is the Best! The best in quality and honesty! My wedding was December 10th and my wedding flowers lasted until almost Christmas!!!! When I walked into Amanda's sop with my Mother, Mother N Law, and some of my Brides Maids I thought I new what I wanted, something simply and small, but let's face it, I am a Cajun and we are loud people, so to have simple flowers, would not be me at all! So, I put my faith fully in Amanda and was not disappointed! The fact that I was getting married did not hit me until the day of my wedding when Amanda walked in and handed me my flowers!!! I could not stop crying! They were perfect! Better than I had imagined! And the centerpieces, PERFECT!!! My family and I are from New Orleans, so we had to have a Mardi Gras themed wedding :) Amanda designed the most beautiful center pieces! Hurricane glasses with Mardi Gras beads coming out and LED lights inside to make them shine ( and those were just for the cocktail tables!) The centerpieces for the larger tables were larger cylinder vases with more Beads and water on top of an LED light. PERFECT!!! It was better than a dream come true! Amanda, you are Wedding Wire, Brides Choice, and the Knot rated for a reason!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for making me feel like a Bride!!!!!!

Amanda's Florist did a great job with my flowers for my wedding. The bridal party's bouquets were exactly what I hoped they would be. Amanda's attention to detail truly shines through her creations. The flowers coordinated wonderfully with my wedding colors and I could not have been more pleased.

I met with a few different vendors during the wedding planning process, and Amanda's Florist was by far my favorite. I don't know a lot about flowers. I basically went with a swatch and a couple of photos for things I like. She very helpful in suggesting flower combinations, colors that look good together, and was not overbearing. She even brought out sample flowers and colors to show me, instead of me just looking through a photo book. She also made a sample bouquet with my flowers to take to a local bridal show that I said I was going to. That's amazing! She stayed within my budget, while still doing outstanding work. I was very impressed with the outcome of all the bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. I received several compliments. I would highly recommend Amanda's Florist to anyone!!

I was really impressed with the flowers and they even found something blue to stick in my bouquet when I realized i had nothing blue the day before my wedding!

I never realized when I walked into Amanda’s that I would be a tricky bride (my words, not hers.) Picking out my bouquet and bridesmaids’ bouquets was relatively simple. I had no ideas coming into our meeting about what I wanted. Amanda gave me a book of flowers to look at and had me bookmark the ones that I liked. I didn’t notice any commonalities but her expertise quickly became apparent when she immediately picked up on the fact that I liked only roses, freesia, and rounded arrangements with only two colors. I brought a color swatch from my bridesmaids’ dresses and it was easy to find a lavender rose to go perfectly, adding a mix of white freesia to my roses for some differentiation. I became a tricky bride when we started talking about the centerpieces. I thought that saying ‘purple’, with some whites and greens, was very specific. I came back a few weeks later and fell in love with the roses. However, I didn’t fall in love with the centerpiece I saw. It was a lovely purple arrangement, but not what I had pictured in my head. I could tell Amanda was trying to understand what specifically I didn’t like about it so that we could come up with an arrangement I would love. I was not very good at describing what I wanted, so I was very impressed when Amanda quickly caught on to my love of ‘muted’ colors. From there, she created beautiful arrangements that I fell in love with and had wedding guests asking to take home after the reception! She also found amazing purple hydrangeas to compliment my color scheme for the isle chair decorations. Amanda was a great professional who went above and beyond to ensure that I didn’t just ‘like’ my wedding flowers, I ‘loved’ them! And all within my budget! I would highly HIGHLY recommend to everyone!
