Nick Watts suggested an arbor for us and I am SO glad we went with it - I hadn't previously thought about it for getting married underneath but, WOW. It was phenomenal. It was SO beautiful, everyone commented on our floral arrangements. They also did a very full and tall arrangement for outside our venue that was stunning. I saw it as we were arriving in the limo and gushed for about 10 minutes over it. They were pricey but I feel like it was well worth the money!

He browsed through my pinterest to really get an understanding of what I wanted when I couldn't put it into words. He introduced me to so many flowers I'd never even heard of that worked perfectly with my vision.The whole team at Amaryllis is wonderful. Kristin was very helpful via email, she helped answer all my questions and was very friendly and professional. The day of, everything was set up perfectly and my favorite was my bouquet. It was so gorgeous and perfect! Thank you Amaryllis for making our day beautiful!

itely exceeded them! The flowers at our wedding were absolutely gorgeous! I came in with some photos I found on pinterest that were all over the place, and he helped me narrow down what I wanted. We worked with them for our ceremony gazebo flowers, cocktail hr table flowers, escort card table flowers, and the reception flowers. We had three different styles of arrangements for our reception: one really tall one, a short one, and a third one that was kind of different from the other two (orchids submerged in water). Christopher was SOOOOO accommodating and went back and forth with me several times to make all of the changes in the design and what not to work with my vision and budget. On day of, his team was there early and worked directly with our venue to schedule their arrival. I didn't have to worry about a thing! His team even stuck around between my ceremony and reception to move some of the outdoor ceremony flowers in to the reception to decorate the DJ table and our couples' table so we could save some money. I met with 4 different florists before choosing Amaryllis. Yes there is a certain sticker shock that comes when you meet with florists. But Christopher provided the best value with the best service and most gorgeous fairy tale flowers for the best price! Being the best in DC, of course they are REALLY busy. So I wasn't able to get evening/after work appointments or weekends. In the end it wasn't a big deal because they are located sort of close to where I work and I could go to them over my lunch break.

livery was very late. The wedding was due to start at 5:30pm, with guests arriving at 5:00pm and the flowers were not delivered until 5:15pm. In addition, they forgot my bridesmaids flowers, so they all had to walk down the aisle with no flowers. The flowers that they did deliver were so beautiful and exactly what I wanted, but I was very disappointed in the service and that my bridesmaids flowers were forgotten.

ng prices from other florists, he always went back and revised his quote to make us happy. And he is a designer, so he was honest with us about what center pieces he thought we should use. On the wedding day, everything turned out beautifully. So many people raved about the bouquets and the ballroom looked amazing. They even fashioned hanging votive candles above our dance floor to give the room a more pulled together look. I would recommend using Amaryllis, Inc.

, Rick was able to capture my vision and left me in shock when I entered the ballroom. When I first met Rick, I mentioned I had a vision of getting married under 'The Tree of Life', a symbol in Jewish culture. I did not want a typical fabric chuppah. Rick magnified my dream and turned the ballroom into Disney's enchanted forest, all within my budget! The chuppah was made completely of leaves and branches. Inside with my husband, two sets of parents and two rabbi's (that's another story!), I felt like I was in an intimate and sacred space. I will cherish that feeling forever. The ballroom during the reception was completely candlelight - not spotlights needed. The 'branch' centerpieces turned out to be branches filled with lush green leaves and hanging candles, literally making you feel like you were outside! My description does not give the vendor justice. Just know, if you choose Amaryllis, give Rick a few guiding tips, and take a hands-off approach, he will take your vision, multiply it by 100 and create a fantastical setting!
