I called ahead to schedule my appointment and left a voicemail. I later received a call back from an employee who was very straightforward and mostly focused on getting my appointment booked. At first, I wished she’d answered more of my questions, but I understand she was probably busy at the time. When I arrived for my first appointment, I actually mentioned some of my hesitations and asked about the negative reviews I’d seen. They took the time to explain and clear things up, which really put my mind at ease. After that, I left my dress with them and scheduled my next appointment to get my final measurements before the last fitting. They even reminded me to eat and drink plenty of water beforehand since I’d be standing for a while during that session — such a thoughtful touch! They also prepared me ahead of time that, during this second appointment, they would actually be cutting my wedding dress. I really appreciated that they took the time to explain this process, because it’s a wild thing to watch happen while you’re standing there in the dress you love! Their professionalism and calm confidence made it feel completely okay, and I knew I was in the best hands. My dress needed quite a few alterations, and honestly, some were pretty complex. My neckline needed to be shortened — and it was a tricky design — but when she finished, it was perfect. It felt like black magic, honestly! My lace sleeves also needed to be tightened, and they did that seamlessly. I even had a small lace “hole” on my chest that they fixed so well you’d never know it was ever there. At the final appointment, they told me it could take anywhere from 30 minutes to 5 hours — because they will not let you leave until you’re completely satisfied. And I can confirm that’s true. When I finally tried on my dress after all the alterations, it was immaculate. Absolutely perfect. I couldn’t stop smiling. Another lovely touch — once you’re happy with your dress, they take professional-style photos of you in it! You even get to choose where in their shop you’d like the photos taken. They send them to you just a short week later, and it was such a wonderful surprise to receive those pictures. I really appreciated having those photos to look back on before the big day. The alterations weren’t cheap, but you truly get what you pay for — exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and care. Amazing Alterations lived up to their name, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any bride looking for skilled, detail-oriented, and thoughtful professionals.

My wedding dress was full beads, had a scalloped bottom, and was measured way to large but Brenda worked her magic and for that I am so grateful! My rehearsal dinner dress was a 1957 Dayton's wedding dress that my grandma, mom, and aunt all wore and while it was no easy feat altering it to be a modern tea length dress without sleeves, Brenda did it and it was amazing. It was so special to be able to wear this family dress and my Grandma simply loved it. Would highly recommend for all your wedding alterations needs!

It was so cool how my beaded train shimmered and showed through the sand and lava rocks as I walked around. From tips and tricks for hair style, dress design...all the way to life hacks for the traveling bride (how to pack a wedding dress in a carry-on purse), I'm telling you that the commute over to their location (40min each way) was worth every penny! The staff are warm, very experienced, and are truly invested in making you shine like a star on your wedding day. Absolutely amazing - 5 STARS - all the way. Just call them!!

ngle appointment I went to, I would sit around for roughly 1.5 hours until I was seen, and then when I was finally seen, I felt extremely rushed and never felt listened to. Even with my final bridal fitting, I feel like my dress didn't 100% fit me but I was essentially pushed out the door because so many other girls that needed to be seen the same time.

from Posh Bridal salon in Hopkins. From my first visit, I was blown away by the vintage, boutique interior and the eclectic style of the staff. At each appointment, I grew more excited for my day and felt the environment allowed me to forget about the day’s worries and enjoy the moment of wearing and posing in my wedding dress. The seamstress did a wonderful job explaining bustle options, helping film how to bustle my dress for my bridesmaids and making sure my dress was at the right height so that I didn’t trip over it while dancing. The staff were easy to work with in arranging appointments around my work schedule, explaining the process and going through costs.
