Donna did my hair and makeup for my wedding. Not only is she great at what she does she is just a great person that makes you feel comfortable and beautiful. When I went to her for my trial she put me on a regimen for my eyebrows which were super thin. I followed what she said and now have great shaped thick eyebrows. Not every artist cares enough to tell you what you need and how to do it they just do what their hired to do. If you book with Donna you won’t be disappointed and she will probably be your go to girl even after the wedding. Donna and her team were really great I don’t believe I could have hired someone who is so talented and great to be around. If your looking for a makeup and hair stylist don’t look any further because you will not be disappointed.

We loved Donna! She was very flexible with my 100 degree wedding day. We were able to keep her on until the ceremony last minute. My hair looked gorgeous, as did all the bridesmaids. My mom has hard to manage hair and she looked absolutely stunning. I highly recommend her.

Donna is absolutely amazing. From the minute I met her I felt so comfortable like we were lifelong friends. I had the reoccurring issue with professional makeup where I looked super pale if flash photography was taken. One, I’m tan, so I don’t look like myself in general. And two, this was for my wedding and there would be cameras literally everywhere. I told Donna about my concerns and both at my trial and at my wedding I’ve never felt so much like myself. My husband used to say I didn’t look like myself when I got my makeup done. Not with Donna. I can look at my wedding photos for days. And seeing pictures of us all getting ready and Donna being part of the crew literally warms my heart. She is insanely talented and professional. All my girls were done on time, with time to spare. As if this isn’t enough, she also offers facials for along the way to make sure your skin is wedding perfect. It does not get any better than Donna!

I was referred to Donna my one of my bridesmaids who met her when her cousin used her for her wedding and she was in it. I was so shocked to hear she has been doing hair and makeup for over 20 years! It totally shows! I am clueless and all thumbs when it comes to my makeup! She helped me choose a look that was right for me. I felt like myself which was important to me, but still glam. I was recently a bridesmaid in a good friend's wedding. Donna did an absolutely amazing job with my hair! I brought 4 pictures with me to show the way I wanted the front and the back to look. And Donna replicated it perfectly! I was so excited. I feel like, with hair, I usually end up with some less glamorous version of what I actually wanted and just have to settle for it. This was a much better experience. The makeup was very good too. The woman who did my makeup did a great job. I told her I was makeup illiterate, but that I didn't mind lots of dramatic makeup. She did a great job. The only thing I wish had been different is that she made my face look very tan/orange. And I am very pale. My dress was a halter, so my natural skin color was very apparent and very much in contrast to the make up on my face. I would have rather stuck to something closer to my natural skin color. But now I know next time that I need to say that :) A great experience overall.

I have been waiting to review Donna until I got my pictures back from my photographer. I've been very torn about my review, because while Donna did a great job, she caused us to run 2 hours behind, which greatly affected my pictures that I spent a great deal of money on, and was the one point of stress for me the entire day. I hired Donna because I had met her when I went with my best friend for her hair and makeup trial in 2013, and I really liked her. She did a great job with the hair and makeup for my friend's wedding and she was very nice. I trusted that she would be a good choice for my wedding day, because my friend had been really happy, and she has great reviews. So I hired her and didn't worry about it again. I had eight bridesmaids needing hair/makeup, plus myself and my mom. I had been promised that it would be Donna + 2 other artists, we would start at 8:00am, and we'd all be done by 2:30pm. On the day of my wedding, Donna and one other artist showed up at 8:00am. There was no explanation, no warning that we would need to start earlier. We didn't finish until 4:30pm for a 6:00pm ceremony. Needless to say, the time I had to take pictures was extremely short, and I have very few family pictures and pictures of the bridesmaids/full wedding party to choose from. You can very much see the stress and anxiety on mine & my mom's faces in pictures because we're running so late, and since we had only 10 minutes to do family pictures, 20 minutes to do bridemaid and full bridal party pictures with a bridal party of 17 people, we didn't end up with any shots where EVERYONE looked good, because we didn't have as many shots/poses to choose from. Although my amazing photographer did the best she could to give us enough to choose from, the incredible time crunch we ended up with really limited her. We also chose our venue partially because of all of the beautiful outdoor spaces where we could take pictures, but because we were so incredibly behind, we didn't get to utilize any of those spaces. As a professional who does this for a living, regardless of the reason she ended up shorthanded, she could have called me and said we'd need to start earlier, or she could have advised us that she needed to prioritize who she did first. Had she called me ahead of time and said she was shorthanded, I'd have asked my 2 bridesmaids who did their own hair/makeup beautifully to help some of the other girls. Or, had she pointed out at any point that it seemed like we would be running behind based on the amount of people she had left to do, we could have planned to get me done and do my first look earlier, so that when the girls were done we would have more time to do bridesmaids/bridal party shots. She was the professional, we relied on her to get us done on time, and we were greatly disappointed. Things happen, and I'm not so unreasonable that I don't realize that people get sick and back out at the last minute, or that people make mistakes and she may have thought she'd have enough time to get us all done with just two artists. However, as a professional, I would have expected that when she realized how badly we ran behind, that she'd have at least reached out after the wedding to explain or apologize, or offer a partial refund, or even just ask if everything turned out okay. Especially because I still encouraged my friend who is getting married in November, who I am MOH for, to still hire her for her wedding day because she does do great work.

On the day of my hair & make-up trial, there was an unfortunate family event for the make-up artist. Donna called and explained and offered for HER to do my make-up for free if I decide to still come in and get my hair trial, so I can get an idea of how I will look and how it will feel on my wedding day. She did a fabulous job, and I just LOVED my hair (I had Jamie). We booked that day and I later scheduled a make-up trial with the make-up artist - and she did a fabulous job as well (I had Rachel). Since we were working with tight timelines on the wedding morning, I was really pushing for having 3 girls instead of 2, and Donna was very accommodating. Our 3rd artist was able to do hair or make-up, which was perfect. We started promptly at 7am and finished right on time at 10am - 7 girls, 13 services, everyone LOVED the results. And, the artists were not opposed to any minor tweaks or changes along the way. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for reliable and talented artists for their wedding!!

I got married in April, and can't say enough things about Donna and her team. Not only were they super accommodating, but super fun/sweet too! My make-up trial (DEFINITELY recommend doing) helped set the stage for the day. After seeing my dress, Donna slightly tweaked the make-up to match the blush tones. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and make-up as well. Her team listened to what they wanted and just did it without a hitch. Donna also did my mothers make-up, and she looked stunning. Went to Donna at Amazing Face for a hair and makeup trial. Was feeling so discouraged that anyone could handle the breakout flare up my skin was going through due to stress. Was afraid my face was going to look cakey and mask like in attempt to camouflage the flaws. Well I feel like it was fate, Donna is a licensed esthetician! 8 months prior to the wedding we did bi weekly microdermabrasion facials and my skin was PERFECT by my wedding day!! The makeup she did enhanced my natural beauty and my hair was an updo that I didn't think my thin fine hair could do! Not one person in my bridal party was less than thrilled with their looks.

Our trial went awesome and I was so happy and excited Donna was available for my wedding date. I wanted a super extravagant hairdo and she nailed it! Donna and her team were booked to do my very large traditional Indian wedding. There were 14 of us all together and many of us ordered hair extensions from her prior and used false lashes and very elaborate hair styles and traditional Indian bright dramatic make up. All went PERFECT!! Very timely, perfect applications, lasted long, looked great in pictures and she even helped me with the traditions of draping and tikka application into my hairstyle. She had told me she has done a few of these traditional weddings so I was impressed! She and her team are very helpful and nice. I would recommend them.

I worked with Amazing Face for my wedding this past September. I met with Donna several times throughout the year. Donna did my hair and make up for my engagement pictures, bridal shower and wedding day. Donna was extremely patient with me and made sure that I was 100% happy and feeling beautiful before I left her chair. Donna devoted her time to me on my wedding day doing both my hair and makeup. Gia and Jamie from her team were there to help my bridesmaids, mom and husband's mother all get beautified for the day. Donna is extremely flexible and was willing to work with my busy work schedule. I have been in quite a few weddings over the past few years and had some bad experiences with the hair and makeup- this was absolutely not the case with Amazing face. Wouldn't use anyone else!!

My MOH and I went to a trial run which was so fun and convenient. It helped to get a visual before the day and Donna was so accommodating to different looks and styles of hair because I wasn't sure about up or down (ultimately went with up) and she nailed the makeup the first time! (Subtle, natural, gold/brown tones with blush and peach) I LOVED it. Donna was on top of everything day of. She was at our door the minute she said she would (even before I was out of bed)! She had additional artists with her because my entire bridal party wanted hair and makeup done, and everyone was completed ON TIME! I can't stress how important this was and Donna was great. Donna and her assistant were great to work with and the results were amazing! I'm not used to wearing a lot of makeup, but her application made it feel like I wasn't wearing any.
