They were super easy to work with, communicative via emails and set up and tore down in a timely manner! The tent was beautiful and made the perfect addition to our party.
Cannot say enough about this team! They are so detailed and organized. They even called me a day or two before my wedding with some recommendations on my tent set up based off of the weather forecast.
We needed to rent everything for our ceremony and reception through Ambassador. Tonia was amazing! She was very quick to respond to emails. She was very helpful when we were designing our table layout and accommodating with last minute changes.
We had to use Ambassador for our wedding at PBG but I am so glad we had them. The staff (especially Tonia) was super helpful in answering questions, adjusting what we wanted over time, giving us recommendations, and getting our floor plan exactly the way we wanted it. Everything was over email, including choosing colors, which also made everything really easy and convenient. If you are looking for rustic/farm style furnishings their stuff is beautiful as well, just a little pricey.
I can’t sing Tonia’s praises enough from Ambassador. She worked with me to do our layouts and planning for my wedding at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden and she was just fabulous! We had our wedding during the pandemic and had postponed from fall 2020 to fall 2021. During our planning we had so many changes from our original plan due to the ups and down of COVID and the Delta Variant. Tonia was flexible, responsive, and extremely detail oriented! She helped me plan around a variety of things that came up, from moving our dance floor outside to working with a guest count that went down a significant amount from what we had planned on.
I’ll also say overall that Ambassador was easy to work with and flexible. The day of our wedding we ended up getting a few upgrades because the wedding there they day before us was already using that equipment.
Ambassador, cheers to your team! You guys rock and our event was perfect. Not a chair or napkin out of place.
We used Ambassador Rent & Party rental for chairs for our ceremony, and have no complaints! Tonia was easy to work with and the chairs were delivered to our venue and picked up promptly.
Tonia was excellent to work with. We, like many couples, had to reschedule our wedding multiple times and between changing numbers, changing layouts, switching rentals, Tonia was so helpful through every step. Her communication was great and she helpful with every step in the planning process. All rentals were accounted for and in great shape, the decor was absolutely beautiful!
Tonia and Mike were so helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. I emailed with Tonia with questions and adjustments and she was always very responsive and helpful.
The tent was the HIGHLIGHT of our wedding and the dance floor was the busiest spot all night. They made the process very easy for us and made sure every detail was exactly how we wanted.

We used Ambassador for our November wedding at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden, and they did an amazing job! I still cannot believe how stunning our clear top tent looked with their string lights. It was absolutely magical! We worked with Tonia throughout the process and she was super easy to work with, very responsive, friendly, helpful, and professional! Everything turned out exactly how we were picturing it and it all could not have looked more beautiful! In addition to the stunning lights, the tables and linens looked amazing as well! We definitely recommend using Ambassador for your rentals!
They were all absolutely amazing! We booked way before our wedding and we made multiple changes to the layout. They were very helpful! We ended up switching venues and downsizing our wedding because of the pandemic, and they were extremely accommodating. The end result of the set up was exactly what I always envisioned my wedding to be!
These guys! Ha, they really had their work cut out for them. We booked them just two weeks before our wedding (as we had to change our venue AGAIN 3 weeks out) and Mike (owner) was awesome. He walked us through every step of the way and the day before, his crew worked their butts off!!! I had them moving individual tents all over the place and they didn’t complain once. They were there all morning/afternoon making sure everything was just right. Highly recommend for any outdoor weddings.
They were overpriced and hard to work with. The week of the wedding they told me they wanted to leave the tent, tables, and chairs up in the space I had booked for 3 days following the event. When I told them this would not work they wanted to charge me an additional $300 to pick the equipment the day of the event. In the end they did not charge us the additional fee, and we did receive the services we were promised. Still they were very frustrating to work with and their prices were high compared to what I had seen elsewhere. I only rented from them because our plans changed about a month before the event and most other places I called were already booked for that day. I defiantly felt they were trying to take advantage of our situation and I would not recommend them.
Ambassador Tent Rental was wonderful to work with. Our wedding was at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden at the end of August, and Ambassador handled all of our rentals. We primarily worked with Tonia throughout the wedding planning process. Tonia is great - she was always kind, quick to respond to emails, and answered my many questions. When I first contacted Ambassador we started with the basics (estimated guest count, general idea of a the layout, etc.), and then we worked on details as the we got closer to the wedding. Ambassador already has a great idea of how many plates, glasses, utensils you will need based on your guest count and the caterer. When we arrived at the venue a few hours before the wedding, everything was set and ready to go!
Ambassador was great to work with from the start. They reached out to the venue and had a lot of the details ironed out while the other companies we reached out to were still getting their quotes ready. We had a wedding in a stadium which came with a lot of special needs and circumstances and they handled everything professionally. Everything turned out great and we would definitely recommend using them for any tent/table/chair needs.
We worked with Ambassador for our wedding at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden and I was blown away by how responsive Tonia was throughout the whole process and how smoothly everything went with them. I felt like I was endlessly emailing Tonia about silly things and she was always so quick to respond and very patient with me. We even worked with a somewhat difficult caterer, and Ambassador did a great job of being persistent with the caterer in getting all the info they needed to make sure we had all the supplies we needed on our wedding day. If you are looking for a rental company, I highly recommend Ambassador; and if you are getting married at PBG, rest assured that Ambassador will take great care of you!!
We got married at The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden and I don't even know where to begin to describe Ambassador. My experience was fantastic and Tonia was extremely helpful every step of the way. I truly can't thank her enough for the help, layout suggestions, professionalism and especially her pleasant attitude. She was truly a joy to work with. The layout she designed worked out perfect and it took several drafts to get it right, but we got it! The setup looked amazing! I would recommend them to anyone! Awesome experience with Ambassador!
What a great company to hire! The tent was amazing and their team from set up to take down were very professional. We got so many compliments about the tent at our wedding. If you're looking for high quality then you've come to the right place.
We got married June 2018 at Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens and they ONLY let you use Ambassador for rentals. Though it's possible that there would have been lower priced options out there, I didn't comparison-shop because there was no point. Our costs were totally reasonable, less than I had bugeted for, in fact. The best parts were:
1. We got all of our rentals from one place (tent, tables, chairs, dishes and servingware, linens)
2. They set everything up before the other vendors arrived. So, for example, my florist didn't have to wait for the linens to go down etc.
3. Tonia was SUPER responsive to my emails and calls and didn't once make me feel like a pest with my multiple table layout changes and guest count alterations.
Excellent service provided and PBG saved me the time of having to select a rental vendor.
Working with Tonia at Ambassador was wonderful! She really helped us order exactly what we needed to make our wedding amazing. Everything was beautiful! Tonia really made the planning process an easy one by promptly responding to any emails.
Tonia made it very easy for us to plan our layout and decor. She is very honest and gives options to make your budget work! The tent and linens were beautiful! Also, if they do not have something in their inventory, they will find it for you which was awesome!
My husband and I had our wedding at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden in Oakdale. We had the ceremony and reception there, so we needed chairs for the ceremony, tables, chairs, and linens for the reception. Of course along with the tent. The staff including Tania was fantastic! There is lots of back and forth while planning due to guests invited vs. final count and they couldn't be more accommodating and nice about every little question we asked! The night of our wedding it POURED, a flash flood warning was in effect... the tent did not budge the entire night! Although outside it was pouring, it did not stop our guests from having an awesome time! Would most defiantly recommend for any event! Very professional and friendly!
I rented a 40x100 tent, table, chairs and a dance floor from Ambassador Tent Rentals. I am very pleased with everything they did. They even came the day before the wedding to finish setting up and they mopped the dance floor for me. We also rented the bathroom trailers. These were quite a hit. I never expected them to be as nice as they were. I would definitely reccommend Ambassador to anyone who was looking for tent rentals!!!
We used Ambassador for several reasons:
1. even though they were a little outside Pittsburgh, they didn't hesitate to delivery to a Pittsburgh location
2. we got everything we needed from one place--tent, linens, tableware, etc. we could have gotten anything we needed from them. (full disclosure, we did rent our sound equipment for a little less from somewhere else).
3. they responded to emails--we were planning our wedding from 3 time zones away, and calling during business hours wasn't always possible with our work schedules
4. they set up the DAY BEFORE the rehearsal and tear down the DAY AFTER the wedding. they don't want to be in the bride's (or brides') way on the most stressful days.
SERVICE:
all emails and calls were returned. everything was easy to figure out. the rental quote and agreement had no hidden language. they seemed to understand what brides need and want. they are a small company and their attention to detail comes through because of that.
this review would have had 5 stars except for one little moment just before the set up day that threw things for a loop. when we made our original arrangements, we made clear with that person that we wouldn't be landing in Pittsburgh and able to get to the site on the Thursday to set up until after 5. that was fine on the phone. then we got an email from someone else who said that they don't deliver after 4 w/o an additional $100 fee. so we said that friday set up would be fine with us. we then got an email saying that they don't set up on Fridays, so they'd have to set up Thursday. we explained that THEY were the ones who told us they'd set up Thursday, they knew what time we would be arriving, and still agreed. we weren't going to pay the after hours delivery charge. eventually they agreed to set up on Friday, which was fine with us.
the tent was professionally set up on Friday morning in plenty of time for us to plan and get ready for the rehearsal that evening. we really appreciated that.
QUALITY
the tent was beautiful. the linens were immaculate. the dishes (very contemporary, i might add--we used the square ones) were all clean and neatly packed. our guests loved everything.
we opted not to rent the walls of the tent or the pole tulle...and in the end, the tent poles were fine without. it gave an outdoor wedding exactly the feeling we were going for--rustic, but a little dressed up.

excellent value.
we got a TON for our money. we planned for 48 guests and spent in the ballpark of $1000. maybe slightly more, but not much.
I would recommend Ambassador for the value and the service. just be clear about your set up and tear down plans.
