Michelle worked with us to bring our vision to life on our wedding day! We hired her team for day-of services and they took the reins like true professionals. There were multiple consultations prior to the event and Michelle was very helpful and accommodating with our DIY approach. Her experience was evident from our first conversation and her attention to detail became clear with the bath salts she gifted us in our first meeting, timing is everything! We would recommend the Ambiance team for your wedding or event without reservation, and we are confident they would give you the best value for your budget!
I was the Mother of the Bride. The best decision I made during was hiring Michelle Whyte of Ambiance Special Events. The Washington DC metro area can be overwhelming. Michelle knows the area, and all the best vendors. Her professionalism, knowledge and patience guided me and an absentee bride through a daunting process. She kept us on task, on time and on budget. From beginning to end we had a flawless event. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was beyond outstanding. I have another daughter, and I intend to hire Ambiance Special Events.
Outstanding! As the mother of the bride, I was the local, in-person contact for the couple who lives on the West Coast. Michelle made sure we thought of everything, even if we decided against certain things. She broke down the decision making to manageable amounts. We had the unusual situation of a morning wedding and an evening reception, with time in between for guests to sightsee or relax. Everything went smoothly! Thanks to Michelle’s attention to detail. The wedding was in November. We are still receiving compliments and people continue to tell us how much fun they had at the reception. We had an unexpected family death about six weeks before the wedding. Michelle stepped up to make sure those decisions that had to be made and vendors contracted with were all lined up for us. In the end, we were able to focus on enjoying the celebration. Michelle is professional, experienced, organized, and poised. She was also cognizant of the courtesies involved in assisting in a church ceremony. We highly recommend Michelle as your wedding coordinator – book with her now!
My advice would be to book Michelle Whyte from Ambince Special events for your next wedding or event. I used her for my wedding back in October as our day of coordinator. She made it so that my day was truly stress free and my family could enjoy the big day. She did so much as a coordinator from setting up the ceremony space, cocktail hour location and the reception area. She helped me put together a personalized timeline to ensure my wedding went according to plan. She even helped to clean up at the end of the night and packed all the gifts in our car once the wedding is over. Michelle was such a life saver throughout the process. She was detail oriented, organized, helpful, punctual and on top of every situation. Having Michelle at my wedding was a critical part of the day. If I could go back and do it again, I would surely use Michelle with Ambiance Special Events again. If you are considering a wedding day planner or coordinator and need the extra hand, Michelle is definitely the lady to choose.
