Amelita Mirolo Barn

It was a beautiful venue for a wedding. The only thing that I thought was odd was that we were not able to come to the venue for a rehearsal without renting the space for a min of 4 hours on another night. When I met with them originally they told me we would have access to do the rehearsal no problem and that was not the case. We were only able to do the rehearsal outside which we managed but it was very odd. Otherwise it is a great venue backing up to a park but if you are getting married there I would be prepared for the additional costs for the rehearsal time.

This venue was exactly what we wanted for our wedding venue! Since the weather cooperated, we were able to get married outside and have reception inside. The space was beautiful and serene and everyone loved it! We highly recommend it!

this venue was my first choice and I am thrilled we got it! our wedding was yesterday and everything went beautifully! from the time I requested to tour, to paying deposits, planning meetings, and up until the day of event- everything was perfect. communication was always quickly returned, everything was organized. the day of was great and truly everything I could have asked for. I highly recommend this venue to anyone!

I hosted my daughter's bridal shower here. Everything went incredibly smoothly. Staff was extremely helpful. Location is lovely and very convenient to access.

This venue was absolutely perfect for our rustic wedding! The venue was the perfect size for our family and friends, and the patio outside was the perfect spot for our ceremony and visiting during the reception. Couldn't have asked for better staff than Charlotte and her assistant, they were wonderfully patient and helped our special day go smoothly!

Had an awesome experience with Jodi and Charlotte at AMB. They were flexible and super easy to work with when we had to make changes to our date and time, and Charlotte had TONS of insider knowledge on the best local vendors and decor/setup strategies to make the best use of the space. When it came to our big day, Charlotte went out of her way to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed, and that our vendors were able to set up and tear down smoothly. Oh, and our guests raved about the barn itself!!! Great lighting, great amenities, and a perfect showcase for our laid-back afternoon wedding.

We got married at Amelita Mirolo Barn on 5/5/18, and it was such a beautiful day! The whole process at the the barn was exceptional, from the first interactions we had with the staff when booking the barn to after the reception as they helped clean everything up. The barn is such a beautiful location and perfect for those who would like to get married outside but have an indoor reception. One thing we wanted was to make sure our guests didn't travel after the ceremony, so all they had to do was walk inside! I highly recommend not going overboard with decorations because the barn itself is beautiful on the inside, and too many decorations would have masked the uniqueness of the facility. Anyway, the staff here literally went above and beyond our expectations. Special shout-out to Charlotte, who answered all of our questions at the planning meeting and did so much extra work to help us out on the wedding day. They even found extra decorations that complemented our theme (like a wooden platform for our cake). I literally did not have to worry about anything on my wedding day, and I felt stress-free thanks to the amazing staff at Amelita Mirolo Barn! I know my mom was raving about them as well! Highly recommended!!! :)

The Amelita Mirolo Barn was a perfect location for our wedding ceremony and reception. We were very pleased with how smoothly it was operated and the incredible staff who was ALWAYS open to answering questions! Charlotte, Jodi and Sarah were a total dream to work with and I HIGHLY recommend this location!!

By far the best place to have a wedding (or event)! The staff is so accommodating and wants to please you. It is in a great location and the venue/grounds itself are beautiful. Plus, the price is incredibly affordable. I would highly recommend the Amelita Mirolo Barn to anyone looking for an event space.

We cannot say enough amazing things about the Amelita Mirolo Barn. It was an amazing wedding venue. We had the ceremony outside and everything else inside. The staff was so helpful and made everything just as we wanted.

This was an amazing venue, and I am so happy that I got married here! We worked with Jodi and John, and both were fantastic. Jodi made the booking/contract part easy and accommodating, helping me update the contract when we had changes and giving me good advice. We were lucky enough to have a UA sponsor so we got the city discount, and at an already affordable price! I chose this venue because it already had a lot of natural beauty and it was very relaxed, allowing me to design my dream wedding kind of from scratch. John helped us plan our layout for guests, buffets, etc. and on the day of the event he was a lifesaver. He went above and beyond his duty as a venue representative, and helped make sure everything went perfectly. I don't think it could've been pulled off without him. He also was a huge help during cleanup and helped to make sure we got out of the barn within our time frame. Thank you so much to everyone at Amelita who helped us out! You all truly made it a fantastic day.

The Amelita Barn was the perfect venue for our day! It is a beautiful setting with cute details, and the staff is superb. They thought of every detail ahead of time to make sure the day went very smoothly. Charlotte helped create my perfect day, and couldn't have been more kind. There are plenty of beautiful picture areas, great parking, and if it's a nice day, a beautiful fountain with patios to enjoy. Beautiful venue!

Our wedding at the Amelita Mirolo was great. The staff was very flexible with us as we were on the fence about whether to have the ceremony inside or outside being that it was mid-August. We decided to have it outside the morning of the wedding and they worked to accommodate the change. The initial planning was done with Jodie, who was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions/calls/emails. The rehearsal & wedding day we worked with John, who was also very friendly and helped us with set up, as well as suggestions on where to place stuff. Overall our experience with the venue was really good. It's a great location if you are looking for a rustic/barn feel but still want the luxuries of a full kitchen, air conditioning, and indoor restrooms. It's also really nice that they have an outdoor patio for the option of outdoor ceremony. The venue is smaller (holds 150 max I believe) but was perfect for the size wedding we were planning.

We had our wedding reception at Amelita Mirolo Barn in August 2015. We loved the venue, especially the old barn- it's such a versatile space, and you can really decorate it any way you want. I worked with Jodi quite a bit, and she was great to work with- very friendly and responsive to e-mails and phone calls. The staff there on our wedding day did a great job as well. Also, this is probably one of the most affordable places in Columbus to have a reception (that is actually nice). Highly recommend the Barn if you're looking for an affordable reception site that you want to decorate your own way!

We got married here on July 4th. Jodi was great to work with. Any questions my husband and I had she would answer. She made sure our wedding day ran nice and smooth. The venue is very pretty. We would recommend this venue to anyone.

We just had our wedding at the Amelita Mirolo Barn and it was wonderful!!! The staff were so helpful and accommodating. They did everything to make our wedding go smoothly.

We mainly worked with Jodie on the details for the wedding reception. She was great to work with and made some great suggestions. The barn itself was a wonderful place to have the reception. It has great outdoor and indoor space. I would highly recommend this place for a wedding venue.

I was truly happy with our decision to use the Amelita Mirolo Barn as our wedding venue for our Ceremony and Reception. We had a total number of 80 guests at our wedding and we fit comfortably in their location. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were very prompt with responding to my many questions and were a great help before and on the day of the wedding. One thing though, I will warn brides who want everything to be planned to hire a planner and someone to decorate the location because they do not do that. As for myself, I organized and planned our entire wedding and provided those who helped with decorating with a notebook of how everything should look. This place was a wonderful site, it gave us the barn feeling we were looking for while also maintaining a true building so it had lights, heat, air conditioning, and a kitchen. I highly suggest anyone that is wanting to do a Country Wedding to consider renting this place.

If you are looking for a beautiful, intimate location for a wedding, look no further than the Amelita Mirolo Barn! We held both our ceremony and reception at the Barn and it was absolutely stunning! We loved the rustic, yet sophisticated feel. The staff at the barn is incredibly responsive and made the planning process so easy! Michael, Jodi and team were absolutely a delight and thought of everything! Thank you to the entire team!

I cannot say enough about how great of a venue this was, and how helpful the staff was through the whole process. Initially, we reserved the venue for the last Saturday available, but they accidentally overbooked us. However, they were so kind and compensated us by allowing us to come in early and decorate without charge for our Friday wedding. Someone was there when my family got there to decorate and helped them immensely. We used the outdoor patio and were able to fit 180 guests and everyone could not get over how beautiful it was. Very simple and clean, and you can really personalize it any way you want!

They were extremely helpful in getting everything setup for our reception. The venue is beautiful and we loved the lighting. The way the barn doors opened made a perfect entrance and we got many compliments on the location.

The Barn was fantastic! We wanted an indoor/outdoor venue, and this fit the bill perfectly! Michael and John that work for the City of Upper Arlington were fantastic to work with, too! Our only issue was that it was a HOT day, and it would have been nice to have some ceiling or floor fans on site to keep it cooler.

everything turned out wonderful at this site. they help set up and clean up. they are a little picky about some this and not about others which is surprising but i suppose understandable in preserving the barn. john was very helpful and offered suggestions based on what worked well or not so well for other weddings while at the same time letting me still have the set up I was going for. as far as rules of the venue some can be a hassle but in the end everything worked out just fine for us. also UA residents can rent the barn at a lower price.

The Amelita Mirolo Barn was the perfect place to have our wedding! The guest list was around 100, and there was plenty of space for DJ, catering, tables and dancing. It is both modern and rustic. The pond and park created beautiful back drops for pictures. The outdoor patios were great for people to gather and get some fresh air. Michael was our primary contact and did a great job in answering any questions we had, and meeting with us to go over every detail that was necessary. He even helped us fix some lights that burnt out the morning before the ceremony! John was on hand to complete the layout and he also worked the wedding. He was AMAZING!!! He quickly became apart of the family! From running to the gas station to get us drinks ( catering wasnt there yet!) to helping guests with seating, he was there for anything and everything we needed. I cannot say enough how happy we are with the attention we were given. Michael and John went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect! Thanks guys!

The first time we visited "The Barn" - we knew this was where we would be having our wedding. The building and grounds are beautiful - the natural tones and wood exposure of the interior complemented the park setting. The addition of the fence and arbor around the large flagstone patio was great for us, as we held our ceremony out there! All in all, it was a great venue - BUT it was a bit more expensive than we anticipated. The rental fee is an hourly rate, which is convenient, but it adds up quickly because you have to reserve the building for both set-up & tear-down. There are also different prices based on whether or not you are an Upper Arlington resident. What you get for your money: use of the venue (including kitchen area) during your reserved time, your choice of round or rectangular tables with chairs (~175), and a wonderful site coordinator that will have the venue materials set up for you upon your arrival and work with your group and/or vendors for whatever they need. Ours was John - he was the most helpful person and made our day PERFECT!

My husband and I immediately fell in love with the Amelita Mirolo Barn because of it's rustic-meets-modern atmosphere. The barn is located in the middle of a UA park and near an elementary school, and we both liked the variations of settings that the area provided. As we both work in schools, we were excited to take fun wedding pictures at the school and timeless pictures in the old wooden barn. Michael at the parks department was so accommodating. We were very thankful to meet with the parks staff before the wedding to talk through the event. Everything felt personalized and special. Unfortunately, the barn's power was out the whole week before our wedding due to severe storms. The staff at the barn worked hard to get the power back on as quickly as possible. They even helped us set-up to have Columbus zoo animals come as a surprise for our guests!

Michael was the onsite coordinator and he was wonderful to work with. He answered all of our questions in a timely fashion and was a great communicator. He was flexible through our planning and was a pleasure to work with! This location is gorgeous for a wedding and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a casual, park wedding!

This venue is fairly new in UA and it was a perfect place to have a wedding with 100 to 150 people. We had our ceremony out back and the reception inside. Had a few issues with the contracts you have to sign but everything worked out in the end. Make sure you read everything before you book this venue and make sure the rules won't change 3 weeks before your event. Overall it was a lovely place and perfect for weddings.

The venue itself was beautiful. It was a modern barn, that still had a rustic feel. The interior space is a little tight to fit more than 100 people, while still allowing for a dance floor, buffet line, etc. But we made it work. The exterior is surrounded by a park and fountains. Very fun!
