We booked this company for our wedding day, because they were a preferred vendor through our venue. We also rented 2 houses for the weekend, instead of hotels to get ready. We booked one limo to pick up the girls, drop us off at the venue, then go pick up the boys. The house the girls were staying in, was 5.19 miles from the venue. It was on the same road as the venue, just one right turn to get into the facility. Our driver missed the turn 3 times. He never went back to pick up the boys. My mom, the mother of the bride, called the driver's cell phone multiple times, as well as the office of American Limousines, Inc. The driver's excuse, "it simply slipped his mind." Our ceremony was supposed to begin at 5pm. The groom and groomsmen did not arrive until 5pm, because American Limousines, Inc, assured my mom the limo would be there to get them. The photographer, yes the photoprapher, made multiple trips to get the boys to the venue, because he was at their house snapping pictures of the boys getting ready when the limo was supposed to come. Needless to say, since the boys were supposed to arrive at 3:30pm with the photographer, the bride (myself) and bridesmaids never had our photos taken getting ready at the beach club. The ceremony started an hour late and we missed an hour and a half of photos. We also paid an extra $1841.60 to extend our reception by 1 hour, which was basically lost, since we had to start an hour late, because the limo never came. Not only did we lose money, because of this, but we lost photography opportunities that we can't get back. Instead of helping me get ready, my mother was dealing with this company. It was a disaster and brought unneeded stress to what had started as an organized, smooth sailing day.
