American Party Rentals is a local, family-owned and operated business that began serving the Triangle community in 1989 under the ownership of Pete and Judy Daymont. Now operating under the second generation of Daymont ownership, Todd and Chad are excited and eager to build upon APR’s reputation as a leader and innovator in the Triangle special event rental scene.
We recognize that almost every rental company will claim their commitment to service and product quality sets them apart from their competitors. So what makes APR different from “the other guys?”
Service & Experience
Our team is well-trained and experienced in everything from event planning to warehouse logistics. Our front of the house staff has a collective 50-plus years of rental industry experience, and our dedicated and loyal delivery team includes multiple employees who have been with us for more than 10 years.
Quality & Consistency
When we asked our long-term customers and industry partners why they choose American Party Rentals again and again, the answer we often heard was “consistency.” We deliver consistent quality by inspecting every glass, plate, chair, etc. after every rental. Silverware is polished frequently and burnished annually. Wooden chairs are individually bagged to limit chipping and scratching. If you receive a piece of equipment that does not meet your standards in either functionality or appearance, please give us a call as soon as possible so that we can make it right.
Communication
We frequently solicit input and advice from local caterers, event planners, and other industry experts when considering additions to our inventory. This spirit of cooperation and continuous learning will allow all of us to continue to reach new heights in the events industry.
In the same sense, we will listen to your specific vision and provide feedback to make sure your event dreams become reality. Our event specialists will work within your budget and offer creative suggestions, whether you’re planning an extravagant wedding reception or a simple backyard barbeque.

American Party rentals are fantastic! Their team is extremely responsive and helpful! After meeting with them in the showroom I made a couple of changes and additions via email. This was a super easy process and Natalie Bell was so helpful! The team is very knowledgeable! We rented tables, dishware, and linens from them! We highly recommend them! Also, we found almost all our vendors from the American Pary Rentals website as they list the vendors used at weddings they showcase on their website.
As a local wedding planner and recent bride, I highly recommend American Party Rentals for your next event! I love working with them as a planner, and they were such a dream to work with as a bride as well! Their team is just awesome- they are fun, they really know their stuff, and they genuinely care about helping to make your event beautiful. Natalie & Sarah are so sweet and they truly go above and beyond. They are always professional and super quick to respond whenever questions or rental changes arise. They are patient and helpful in the showroom too! It can be overwhelming to make decisions on linens and place settings for such a big day, but they calmly, confidently, and patiently help keep things on track and give reassurance and suggestions when needed. Todd and Chad are always so helpful and friendly too! It’s clear that they care a lot about their business, their team, and their customers. I had a wonderful experience working with Sarah and the others at American Party Rentals for my daughter's wedding rentals. I rented chairs, napkins, and Pipe & Drape and all of the items were as expected and of good quality.
Easy to work with and very flexible with the changes in my order! A bit pricey but they were my only option so did the trick!
Natalie from American Party Rentals was THE BEST to work with! Our rental meeting was extremely fun and relaxed and she helped us to create a vision for our wedding and pick out the perfect linens, plates, flatware, and glasses. They have a wonderful selection, allowing you to customize your wedding as you wish. We added a fun colorful glass for our signature cocktails, which our guests loved. They were so great to work with and it was very easy to update our rental order as our needs changed. We even decided to rental linens, tables, and chairs from them for the night before and breakfast after our wedding. Pick up and delivery was timely and easy. I would highly recommend APR!

APR has a really nice selection of almost everything you might need for your wedding decor. Especially if you are at a "non-traditional" location it means a lot to have one vendor coordinate and deliver as much of your rentals as possible. APR was able to provide almost everything we needed (they did not carry lounge furniture like couches, rugs etc.) from dishes and flatware to chairs, space heaters and tenting - and they were easy to work with, very professional, reasonably priced, and reliable. We had no problems whatsoever. Everything we got from them was in good condition. They delivered exactly what they said they would, on time, at the quoted price, and picked it all up as scheduled. Can't ask for much more than that!
Our experience working with APR was great! We had such a good time picking out all of our linens and dishes in the showroom with Cedrika. She helped us figure out exactly what worked for our style and our budget, and everything looked perfect on our wedding day.
We chose APR because they work closely with our venue (the Cookery), and were very pleased with the experience. They have a wide range of items that you can see in the showroom or peruse online. Natalie was very helpful when we met in the showroom to make sure I had all the rentals we needed, and was easily accessible through email when we made some changes later. I appreciated that she was upfront with the cost of different rentals and made suggestions to help me stick to my budget. They even coordinated with a wedding the following day for us to use the same dance floor so we each only paid for half the rental! I was overwhelmed with where to even start for selecting rentals so I really appreciated their friendly and helpful service.
First of all, we have to acknowledge Cedrika who is absolutely AMAZING at what she does! When it comes to wedding vendors, the rentals was one of the more difficult things to figure out – there just seemed to be so many moving parts and options. After looking at other rental companies, we were so fortunate to have found American Party Rentals. They not only had a larger and nicer selection of rentals but Cedrika was able to help us simplify the selection process. Everything that we picked out looked beautiful when it came together on wedding day. All along the way, APR and Cedrika were extremely responsive, flexible and on-time with everything that we needed and asked for. If you need rentals for a wedding or any other big event, American Party Rentals is the place to go!

I can't remember if I was required to use APR with my venue, or if it was just a strong suggestion, but I am so glad that we worked with them! Abby was very responsive and very patient with countless updates to our rental list, even down to a day or two before the wedding. We got an updated price quote with every update, no matter how small, which really helped me keep my budget on track. I loved being able to go to their showroom to see all of the pieces in person instead of choosing out of a catalog, and Abby was able to provide knowledge about settings that usually pair together, options for bringing a table together, and other creative ideas. Zero complaints.
American Party Rentals did an amazing job for our wedding! The outcome was exactly what I was looking for and they were very easy to work with. I definitely would recommend them for your wedding!
They were awesome with the whole process and would always send you an updated itemized invoice when changes were made to my order.
APR was super easy to work with and always accommodating to making changes to the order. Our rentals were delivered in plenty of time to setup and we were very pleased with the quality and appearance of the rentals (chairs, linens, tableware).
We rented Farm tables, with a lovley wood grain. They seemed to be the only company in the area with product, Family run with excellent service. They are knowledgable re: the venues in thier area and coordinate well with venue owners for delivery and pick up. Make sure your venue allows for a monday pick up at no extra charge though..as they are not able yo pick up on Sunday. I would of like to rent the linens from them as well, but twice the price as other rental companies in the area.
Overall, I was pretty happy - they are expensive, but so is everyone in the area.
What I didn't like was I got cocktail tables and linens for those cocktail tables, and the linens were not long enough in my opinion. The caterer fixed the ties - I had just removed them because I didn't think they fit and covered the bottom.
But everything else looked very nice.
Also - they only accept returns on Saturdays and Mondays - not helpful when you are leaving to go on your Honeymoon on Monday morning at 6am.
APR came highly recommended to us, and they were definitely worth it. They were very helpful from the get-go recommending sizes on things and where we could possibly adjust later on as we had a clearer idea of our guest count. We made changes to the rental order several times throughout the planning process, and Sarah and Jason were always extremely helpful and patient and willing to help us out. It sometimes took a few days to get an email response, but they always included the updated total, were very above-board on how everything was going to work out logistically and were awesome about being flexible about different things to make everything work out. We had a Sunday wedding, and they set the tent up Friday. When we asked if they could drop the tables off Friday, as well, instead of Saturday, so we could set them up ahead of time, they offered to set them up for us. The lighting and lanterns in the tent were just gorgeous. Definitely worth it.
We were looking for something just a little bit different and APR had it - they were amazing to sit down with and really hash out details - any questions I had they had a way to solve it. We used their tables for a family style dinner and they were ABSOLUTLY beautiful with all of their dishes and silver on them - really gave a warm homey feeling to our otherwise large space... Quality of everything was really really good and their service and flexibility were AMAZING!!!
I worked with Dare at APR on all my rentals and she was beyond helpful! We emailed daily for the weeks leading up to the wedding... and I know she was glad to see my big day come and go. Everything we rented was great quality, everything was delivered on time and nothing was missing. All the linens were well labeled so it was easy for us to figure out what was for which tables. I've worked with other rental companies and never received such great, personal service. I'll definitely use them again if the need arises.
We worked with APR for our September 2012 wedding reception at the Duke Gardens. APR has a wide enough selection of dishes, linens, chairs, etc. that you feel like you can customize the feel of your wedding but not so large that it is an overwhelming process. If you like, they will even help you develop a vision for your event and then help you choose your rentals to actualize that vision. You can also schedule a consultation on the weekends, which was very convenient for my spouse and I due to our work schedules. I highly recommend working with American Party Rentals for your next event.
Their prices were a little than Best Rent-All, which is where my family gets all of its rental items, but they were very willing to work with me and accommodate my requests.
I rented 65 ceremony chairs, 3 chafing dishes, and some serving pieces from American Party Rentals, all for under $260 (including delivery). They were very flexible with my order and allowed me to pick up the serving pieces a day early (which let me get some of the food prep done beforehand and I could actually enjoy myself on the day of the wedding!).
We rented tables, chairs, flatware, glasses, servingware, and linens from American Party Rentals. Everything arrived in tact and the gentlemen who unloaded were nice and professional. My only issue was that we they dropped everything off a little later than expected (we were 6th on the delivery list, so that's understandable) so we weren't able to set up as early as we wanted but that didn't affect quality. They did arrive on time to collect everything, though. Overall, it was a smooth, pleasant experience and I would definitely use them again.
the company delivered a dance floor with mixed wood pieces, three hours later on the rehearsal dinner day i was able to get a bigger dance floor and all the wood pieces matched.
American Party Rentals was the best. I could change my rental order up until the last day and it was no problem! They helped us load and unload (since we chose not to have them deliver), AND we ended up breaking several wine glasses, but they were super cheap to replace. Very pleased--cost was reasonable but they were amazingly professional and didn't try to wedding gauge us.
We chose American Party Rentals because they were a tad cheaper than the other rental companies we looked at. We rented tables, chairs and some dishware. They delivered it on time and picked it up without incident. Overall it was a satisfactory experience.
