The food was delicious, the pricing was reasonable by wedding standards, and there were plenty of options to keep all of my weekend events on site. Even our family commented that our wedding was "a first-class affair" We booked 2 years out and Samantha and her team were so great to let us do a couple of on-site visits for planning purposes. Our tasting experience was wonderful. The morning of, we called Samantha for her opinion on the weather forecast and we talked us off the preverbal edge. I cannot say enough great things about how smoothly our day went because of this team. Not having to worry about if things would be executed allowed us to be present in the moment and enjoy every second of our wedding.

ager, Samantha, who assisted my daughter and I for all of the planning and prep was so kind, supportive, she always returned our calls in a timely manner(and there were many calls..lol) and she was so very accommodating when it came to the vision my daughter had for the space. The evening of the reception, the space was stunning, jaw dropping gorgeous, it was every bit as pretty as we had invisioned. There are no words to express the amount of gratitude and appreciation we have for Samantha G at AMERISTAR. Next, I'd like to talk about the food that was served to our 220 guests. OUTSTANDING, INCREDIBLE AND DELICIOUS!! The chef at AMERISTAR is amazing !!! Seriously, everyone is still raving about the food. The chef prepared a sit down dinner for 220 people and not only did each guest comment on how delicious the food tasted, but also , how it was still steaming hot when it arrived at the table. Lastly, the hotel accommodations. We had roughly, 125 guests stay overnight at the AMERISTAR hotel. I heard so many comments from those guests about how spacious and beautiful their rooms were, and how much they enjoyed their stay. I will say this over and over again, especially if you are interested in an outdoor reception. The Event Lawn at the AMERISTAR Hotel and Spa is a must see, it's a hidden GEM!!! Most of our guests, even the ones that have been to AMERISTAR a million times, never even knew this space existed.

istar are top tier and the service was unmatched from the beginning through the end. We specifically worked with Samantha at Ameristar to plan our wedding and she was a DREAM. She was always available, was willing to look into everything we asked for, and always had a solution. I would recommend her 1000x over and she was the most amazing support (and there were some particular requests, ha!). Next up, was the food. I still have guests telling me how amazing the food was and that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We had a sit down dinner with the braised beef short rib and the airline chicken. The dishes came out steaming hot and the chicken was juicy. The bartenders, wait staff and event staff were incredible. I cannot recommend Ameristar enough. The lawn is absolutely beautiful and we received so many compliments on the setup. People didn't even know the space existed! For reference, we had cocktail hour around the pool and a sit down reception on the event lawn. I would choose Ameristar over and over again for the experience and service.

s and organize it in a way that worked for us. We had our ceremony and reception at The Ryse and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Everything went without a hitch. There was plenty of drinks available/served and the food was nothing short of amazing. This really reflects what we thought of the wedding and how the vast majority of guests felt as well. Ameristar also has some many great places for pictures and filming. The rooms were also so comfortable and big. Bathroom is better than in most houses. If I could choose anywhere to have my wedding again, I'd still do it at Ameristar.

There was a mishap where our family heirloom cake topper broke, but Samantha immediately apologized and did everything she possibly could to make it better. Our one complaint was the flippant attitude of the dinner captain, but everyone else was phenomenal. The wait staff was so sweet and even gave up their break room for a minute when they saw me head to the bathroom to change into my second dress! The food was absolutely delicious and the chef was so accommodating and knowledgeable. There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options that are actually good which is so hard to find without spending a fortune. Food and drinks were absolutely top tier. From top to bottom it was by far the best experience we had while wedding planning. The venue is so beautiful you don't need additional decorations, Ameristar is perfect for indoor photos, and it's so nice having hotel rooms connected to your venue. Samantha even went as far to get the Chinese New Year lanterns up early since she knew how much I wanted to take photos under them! Every other part of wedding planning was so stressful, but Ameristar made it easy. :)

ou sign a contract. Everywhere else had just meh food and I was expecting the same from Ameristar. I did not expect much of the tasting but was excited for it. I was impressed whenever the chef came in and presented everything to us and how it was prepared like we were judges on Hell's Kitchen or something. I was even more impressed with how good the food was. We did the beef tenderloin and chicken parmesan entrees and both were delicious. I am very partial to the steak though. We tried several sides and decided on salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, white sauce pasta, and a seasonal fruit bowl. Everything was SO GOOD. The steak stacked up against any steak from anywhere I've been if it wasn't better. The Ameristar staff were more than accommodating. They were the largest vendor with the most moving parts in the planning and I expected it to be difficult with them but they were actually the easiest to work with. They were very responsive to us and helped kind of guide us through stuff which was really cool because we needed some guidance. I worked with Samantha who was just phenomenal. I think she works normal business hours like 9-5 or something like that, maybe earlier, and on the day of the wedding and even though she did not play a part in organizing anything physically, and any problems that night were to be addressed through another person, she was still there to make sure that everything was going well, and it was at least 3 hours later than I believe her to normally be there. The only problem that I ran into was the organization of reserving rooms, which was mostly my family's fault. I somehow got put in charge of reserving rooms for some people and it led to a family member getting another family member's room key. When Samantha asked me if there was anything she could do I mentioned it to her and she squared it away immediately. The family member was there in front of me at the time which was why I brought it up, I would've sorted it out myself later but I had plenty enough to do already and she offered haha! My grandfather asks her if she could also take his suitcase to the room and without any hesitation she agrees to do so. I was honestly really angry that he asked because that is totally not her job but it was appreciated because he is very old and doesn't walk well. The staff throughout the night were nothing short of amazing. Working some place where I interact with the public, I as well as others get worn out and it becomes such that every customer is another person and everyone begins to get handled as such. I did not feel that way once that night. Every Ameristar employee I encountered even in passing not only recognized me in a hundred people wearing suits, they congratulated my wife and I genuinely, not in a "thanks for coming. See you next time." Kind of way. At the end of the night, one of the gentleman brought our top layer of cake and leftovers back to our room for us whereas I was expecting to take it myself. Our reception was perfect and I could not have asked any more of anyone that night. A HUGE thank you to Samantha and everyone that worked with us on 02/25/2022!

They’re extremely flexible and we didn’t need our final count in until 3 days prior! The new landmark atrium was drop dead gorgeous and perfect with all of the character of the room and brick everywhere! You can get a banquet hall anywhere… go with this choice instead! Pricing is amazing compared to barn weddings! You don’t have to worry about weather, food, drinks, linens, chairs, etc. Its all provided! Guests have lots to do between ceremony & reception… continue the party to casino after… it couldn’t have been more perfect! Then guests can stay at the hotel after a long night of celebrations! I cannot say enough about the staff! Everyone was so nice and SO AMAZINGLY HELPFUL! A guest at our wedding needed private assistance and they quietly helped them and got them out without embarrassment. They literally just made my night go without any hiccups! By the way… I totally recommend staying the night before with 2 rooms so both parties can get ready in them the next morning. AND GET A COUPLES MESSAGE! The Spa is amazing! — we stayed 2 nights before the wedding and it worked great!

Even made sure to make us plates so we could eat because we were so busy with guest and dancing. Take advantage of all the areas outside the Casino for pictures. I wish we would have taken more. They do not allow any inside or actually on the floor, but we went to the second level and took some amazing shots with the Casino sign in the backdrop. The food was amazing. All of our guest, even the picky ones, raved about how good it was. Ashley was our Wedding Coordinator and she had everything just like we planned. Don't be afraid to ask. We did not want a big dinner for a 7pm wedding and it was our second wedding, so we did an appetizer bar and our guest loved it. I welcome you to think outside the box. The Chapel off the Atrium was perfect. Several guest raved about how nice it was to have cocktail hour before the wedding, move into the Chapel and then back to the receptions area rather than have to change rooms or drive some place else. I do recommend turning the fountain off during the ceremony. It was suggested and I didn't and as the wedding went on I wish we would have. Sounded like someone using the bathroom on our film. LOL. Our wedding was beautiful and everything we wanted something small and affordable and it was just that. We blocked rooms for our guest and they even gave them discounts for being part of the wedding staying the night and this was absolutely perfect. No one driving home after a long night of partying and the rooms are amazing. So clean. Plus it was great to be able to get ready in before the wedding. If there was one negative was ask your coordinator to turn up the air conditioning in the side room next to the chapel if you plan to stage your wedding party before going down the isle. It was very warm in there while we waited. I highly suggest requesting Ashley for an event Manager and David. They did an outstanding job!

concerns were quickly assuaged as we met with Jodie and the chef. The food was Tasty as well as plentiful. The Staff was fantastic to work with as they anticipated our every need. The Captain and servers and bartend staff were hospitable. Jodie and Samantha were there and promptly answered every call including day of ceremony and reception. The Ceremony on the patio was great and the flowers and extra touches were thoughtful and elegant. The Team at Ameristar could not have done a nicer job and we could not have asked for a more wonderful evening. Thank you to everyone for making this a perfect evening.

We had our ceremony in the Landmark Atrium, Our Cocktail hour in the pre-function area of Ryse, our dinner in the Lounge of Ryse and our reception inside of Ryse night club. Our Brunch the next day was at the King Cat Lounge. Everything was fantastic and went off without a hitch! Every detail was taken care of and our wedding was incredible! Thank you to everyone at Ameristar for being so awesome!

Jodie was very prompt with replies, super kind, and accommodating. I almost feel as if no was never an answer that could come from them in response to a request I was making for our wedding. Once Jodie and I finalized the booking, Samantha took over to help us see our perfect day through. Although I had a day of coordinator - Samantha and her assistant Jill were there every step of the way ensuring everything was perfect! Our timeline, our process, EVERYTHING went off without a hiccup. My husband and I could not have been any happier with the services we were given. The chef at our tasting made it a fun experience and they even remember the little things from our initial remarks about our thought with their food by remembering our personal favorites and taste preferences.The food was AMAZING and unlike any wedding venue food I have ever had before. The service was impeccable! Their servers and bartenders were so pleasant and were genuinely excited that we were there, thanking us for picking them. I expected just a buffet style service but it did not stop there - there was waiters coming to tables to service drink needs, give out cake, and take drink orders. I was blown away. I ordered a drink and had a slightly different preference and Jill jumped in to make sure it was perfect and waiting for me at our sweetheart table. Not only that but they were very reasonable with their pricing and I felt we got much more than what we paid for. There are endless spots of great photo opportunities and the Ryse night club really brought an elegant feel to our wedding. Our guests loved the venue idea - when the party ended in the night club it started back up in the casino! We made a whole weekend of it here and we could not be happier with the services. e a nervous wreck, especially after seeing soo many couples having to reschedule or even cancel their wedding. The Ameristar was with us every step of the way. It all started with our first look at the venue back in February 2020. With us originally just being interested in having only our ceremony on their outside lawn area Jodi was incredible with showing us different spaces for our reception as well. We fell in love with Ryse Nightclub. Later down the line we were introduce to Samantha who became our point of contact. She was amazing with setting up different meetings, from the tasting to us actually coming in to see a set up of a wedding in the same space we were having our celebration at. The communication, last minute accommodations, timely reply’s to emails, text, everything was done with professionalism. When we started panicking a few months before the wedding due to the cases of Covid and the closures of a lot of business, both Jodi and Samantha reinsured is that nothing is changing on their end, and if needed they would accommodate us if we decided to move our date into 2021. As my wedding day approached everything was perfect. My coordinator was even surprised by how helpful and involved Samantha and Jodi were the day of. So thank you both for making our day perfect!

g Covid and he was amazing with all our changes and helping us through every step of the way up until and through the wedding day. On the day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about anything and he and the staff took care of it all. Samantha and Jody were both there at various points to help and were great as well. The entire staff was friendly and made our guests feel like they were in another world. Not only did we love them but we got so many compliments on the venue and the staff!
