Ameristar knows how to throw a memorable wedding. I booked with them in December of 2022 and had my wedding in June of 2024. I originally worked with Samantha until they hired Emily. Emily took over from there and she was hands down a wonderful person to coordinate with. She was very responsive and professional. From the dinner tasting up until the wedding, everything went to plan. On the day of the wedding, I went downstairs to do a last minute set up and noticed one of my vendors was either not finished setting up or did not do it the way I wanted it. As a bride on the day of her wedding, I was very worried. I called Emily right away and she took care of it since she worked with the vendor prior. When I showed up at my reception, it looked exactly the way it was supposed to, if not better. Emily even checked up on me during my reception to make sure everything was to our liking. I told her everything was perfect. During and after the wedding, I got nothing but compliments on how fun the wedding was a long with the attention to detail. I would highly recommend having your reception at Ameristar and working with Emily. I promise everything will go exactly as you want it, if not better. Thank you again :)

We had a great experience with Ameristar for our wedding day!! Our ceremony was supposed to be on the lawn. However, rain had another plan for us. Emily was amazing though and she gave us until 10am for our 1:30 ceremony to switch indoors. We chose to do that and the ceremony was still beautiful. Our reception was in the RYSE nightclub and it was absolutely breathtaking. I heard so many compliments about how cool the space was and how amazing the food was. The food is definitely to die for. We did a buffet, but unknown to us until dinner my husband and I had our own private server. He was amazing and took such good care of us. IT did such a good job putting a slideshow together for us as well as a welcome sign. Emily and the staff did such a great job. They all made sure we had what we needed. We were so happy we chose Ameristar. 100% recommend!

Amazing place to work with. They had amazing communication. So many options for venue and food and drink. Beautiful locations and all of our guests LOVED the food.

Oh my Ameristar made my Wedding so amazing. I worked closely with Emily and she was AMAZING. She always responded to my several emails and responded quickly. She helped me make my dream wedding happen. Everything to the last detail. My wedding was beyond perfect, and thats because of the Emily, Samantha, The Chef and Ameristar and all the employees. The ballrooms are HUGE, very spacious. Then the cocktail hour was perfect right out front. The bartenders were amazing, and EVERYONE is raving about the food. The food was top-notch. I can't say enough amazing things about having your wedding reception at Ameristar. If I had to do it again no doubt it would be at ameristar! IK am already trying to find reasons why we would need to have another event there. I kid you not, I think i was emailing emily about 3 times a day. Like Ameristar is the place you need to have your wedding. when i say everyone is amazing i mean it. I had such a GREAT experience

I absolutely loved every moment of working with Samantha at the Ameristar. Overall, I and my guests were impressed by the venue. There were a few hiccups, I think related to onboarding a newer employee, but I don’t think anyone can expect a completely smooth wedding. Anything that didn’t go smoothly was minimal, and Samantha more than made up for it! The food was delicious, the pricing was reasonable by wedding standards, and there were plenty of options to keep all of my weekend events on site. It was an incredible experience that I would never have imagined for my wedding.

We got married in the Landmark Atrium and our reception was on the Rooftop Event Lawn. We have been inundated with compliments from "this was the most beautiful wedding venue I've ever been to EVER" to "that was the best dinner I've ever had at a wedding." Even our family commented that our wedding was "a first-class affair" We booked 2 years out and Samantha and her team were so great to let us do a couple of on-site visits for planning purposes. Our tasting experience was wonderful. The morning of, we called Samantha for her opinion on the weather forecast and we talked us off the preverbal edge. I cannot say enough great things about how smoothly our day went because of this team. Not having to worry about if things would be executed allowed us to be present in the moment and enjoy every second of our wedding.

Ameristar is such a fun and unique place to have a wedding! We had our ceremony on the lawn and reception in RYSE nightclub and it was so perfect. It was the perfect outdoorsy ceremony and fun atmosphere for the reception. Samantha and her team were so awesome to work with! She was great with communication, details, and helped us every step of the way. They were great with handling any changes, especially last minute ones we threw their way. The food during the reception was incredible. All of my guests complimented how good the food was! I cannot say enough good things about our perfect day!

We had our ceremony on the event lawn and reception in RYSE, as well as our Rehearsal Dinner and Day-after Brunch; everything about the venue and various teams were phenomenal! Samantha was especially helpful and knowledgeable throughout the booking and planning process; she answered all my questions from the first to the millionth with professionalism and promptness. The food was incredible and the service from the entire banquet team was also top-notch. The only reason I took a star off was for the hotel—the rooms themselves were impeccable, but we had issues getting into our rooms prior to 4:00pm, even with an “early check-in”. In hindsight, I wish someone would have suggested that I move the ceremony time back 30min or so, allowing guests to check-in and get settled prior to making their way to the ceremony. Also, if getting married on the lawn in the summer, be aware the area is NOT shaded for seated guests until around 5:30pm.

My daughter's wedding in May of 2023 was held in the Ryse Nightclub Lounge. The venue is a little different, which is what made it so special and unique. Samantha and the Ameristar staff were excellent throughout the entire planning process and on the day of the wedding. Our guests complimented us many times on how delicious the food was and on the entire atmosphere of the reception. We had many out of town guests and the Ameristar worked with us to accommodate everyone.

My daughter's wedding couldn't have been any better thanks to the staff at the Ameristar! Samantha was incredible to work with. She responded to every little question in a prompt manner and went above and beyond. The banquet captains, Paul and Miguel, made sure the wedding party and family enjoyed the evening and handled every detail beautifully! As mother of the bride they kept me informed of what I needed to know and they handled everything else. The food was outstanding! I received SO many compliments with many guests stating it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! It truly was an incredible experience and I HIGHLY recommend the Ameristar !

OMG!!! Your Staff and Food were Awesome!...our guest are still talking about them. Everything was perfect. Samantha is a super star. Even with us not really know what we needed or wanted she and her remarkable staff provided the perfect event space and setting to make our day a positive memory that will last forever. We recently had a wedding on May 13, 2023. I reached out to Ameristar in June 2022 and began planning then. From the very beginning, I had nothing but great experiences. Samantha worked with us throughout the process, and Jodie helped us the day of. They were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond for my requests. Working with them was an absolute dream and they made our day perfect. They both made me feel at ease leading up to and during wedding day. I had no stress at all the day of thanks to their help. Our cake ended up coming a day earlier than expected and they were quick to accommodate our needs. As far as I know, nothing went wrong the entire day which I am so lucky to say! We had an idea a couple days earlier to have a dinner the evening before with 16 of our guests. No place nearby was accepting reservations for Friday night, so I asked Samantha if she could help with this. She was able to get us a reservation at Bugatti’s Steakhouse at Ameristar. It was a major hit with our guests! Fantastic food and service, my husband and I can’t wait to return. Samantha really pulled through for us with this reservation and we were so grateful. Our ceremony and reception were held in the Atrium. It was such a lovely and intimate venue. So convenient that we could have everything in one place. I barely needed to add any decorations as the space was already stunning on its own. The cake station that the staff set up for us was even more beautiful than i could have imagined. The service team consisted entirely of rockstars. The team leader, Miguel, was an angel. He was so thoughtful, caring, and a smile never left his face. His team members were so friendly with our guests and made sure that our needs were taken care of throughout the entire evening. The food was out of this world. I savored every bite. The drinks were also made efficiently and were dangerously delicious. We are receiving never-ending compliments from our guests regarding the venue, food, and service. Even those with dietary restrictions thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Most of our guests came from out of town and were so grateful for the venue’s proximity to the airport and the hotel block. We had a blast that Saturday evening we and are so happy we chose Ameristar to make our dreams come true. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Everything was perfect. We used the Landmark Atrium room which was so pretty. Samantha was very responsive and easy to work with. The staff at the reception was great. The guests stayed at the hotel and there was plenty of options for them to do. Awesome experience.

We held my daughter's wedding reception on the Event Lawn at the AMERISTAR Hotel and Spa, The entire staff was accommodating, efficient and a pleasure to work with. Our event manager, Samantha, who assisted my daughter and I for all of the planning and prep was so kind, supportive, she always returned our calls in a timely manner(and there were many calls..lol) and she was so very accommodating when it came to the vision my daughter had for the space. The evening of the reception, the space was stunning, jaw dropping gorgeous, it was every bit as pretty as we had invisioned. There are no words to express the amount of gratitude and appreciation we have for Samantha G at AMERISTAR. Next, I'd like to talk about the food that was served to our 220 guests. OUTSTANDING, INCREDIBLE AND DELICIOUS!! The chef at AMERISTAR is amazing !!! Seriously, everyone is still raving about the food. The chef prepared a sit down dinner for 220 people and not only did each guest comment on how delicious the food tasted, but also , how it was still steaming hot when it arrived at the table. Lastly, the hotel accommodations. We had roughly, 125 guests stay overnight at the AMERISTAR hotel. I heard so many comments from those guests about how spacious and beautiful their rooms were, and how much they enjoyed their stay. I will say this over and over again, especially if you are interested in an outdoor reception. The Event Lawn at the AMERISTAR Hotel and Spa is a must see, it's a hidden GEM!!! Most of our guests, even the ones that have been to AMERISTAR a million times, never even knew this space existed.

I honestly cannot write enough AMAZING things about our experience at Ameristar for our wedding. We had our wedding reception out on the lawn and it was flawless. The staff at Ameristar are top tier and the service was unmatched from the beginning through the end. We specifically worked with Samantha at Ameristar to plan our wedding and she was a DREAM. She was always available, was willing to look into everything we asked for, and always had a solution. I would recommend her 1000x over and she was the most amazing support (and there were some particular requests, ha!). Next up, was the food. I still have guests telling me how amazing the food was and that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We had a sit down dinner with the braised beef short rib and the airline chicken. The dishes came out steaming hot and the chicken was juicy. The bartenders, wait staff and event staff were incredible. I cannot recommend Ameristar enough. The lawn is absolutely beautiful and we received so many compliments on the setup. People didn't even know the space existed! For reference, we had cocktail hour around the pool and a sit down reception on the event lawn. I would choose Ameristar over and over again for the experience and service.

AmeriStar was wonderful… I recommend this venue for any event. We had a wedding reception in the Ameristar ballroom … The staff were very professional and organized and the day of the wedding they made the room beautiful! Met all of our needs…. And everyone that attended said it was the most wonderful meal …kudos to the chef! I would recommend Ameristar for any event!!

Honestly every aspect of the wedding experience surpasses any expectations you would normally have. The event planners were extremely helpful and worked diligently to meet our needs and organize it in a way that worked for us. We had our ceremony and reception at The Ryse and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Everything went without a hitch. There was plenty of drinks available/served and the food was nothing short of amazing. This really reflects what we thought of the wedding and how the vast majority of guests felt as well. Ameristar also has some many great places for pictures and filming. The rooms were also so comfortable and big. Bathroom is better than in most houses. If I could choose anywhere to have my wedding again, I'd still do it at Ameristar.

First off, Samantha was absolutely AMAZING. Her and the rest of the Ameristar staff took great care of my husband and I both before and during our wedding day. We had our reception at Ryse Nightclub and have received so many compliments on how beautiful and fun it was! There was a mishap where our family heirloom cake topper broke, but Samantha immediately apologized and did everything she possibly could to make it better. Our one complaint was the flippant attitude of the dinner captain, but everyone else was phenomenal. The wait staff was so sweet and even gave up their break room for a minute when they saw me head to the bathroom to change into my second dress! The food was absolutely delicious and the chef was so accommodating and knowledgeable. There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options that are actually good which is so hard to find without spending a fortune. Food and drinks were absolutely top tier. From top to bottom it was by far the best experience we had while wedding planning. The venue is so beautiful you don't need additional decorations, Ameristar is perfect for indoor photos, and it's so nice having hotel rooms connected to your venue. Samantha even went as far to get the Chinese New Year lanterns up early since she knew how much I wanted to take photos under them! Every other part of wedding planning was so stressful, but Ameristar made it easy. :)

My wife and I had our reception in the Ryse. I cannot say enough good things about Ameristar. I was a little nervous at first because you do not get to try their food until after you sign a contract. Everywhere else had just meh food and I was expecting the same from Ameristar. I did not expect much of the tasting but was excited for it. I was impressed whenever the chef came in and presented everything to us and how it was prepared like we were judges on Hell's Kitchen or something. I was even more impressed with how good the food was. We did the beef tenderloin and chicken parmesan entrees and both were delicious. I am very partial to the steak though. We tried several sides and decided on salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, white sauce pasta, and a seasonal fruit bowl. Everything was SO GOOD. The steak stacked up against any steak from anywhere I've been if it wasn't better. The Ameristar staff were more than accommodating. They were the largest vendor with the most moving parts in the planning and I expected it to be difficult with them but they were actually the easiest to work with. They were very responsive to us and helped kind of guide us through stuff which was really cool because we needed some guidance. I worked with Samantha who was just phenomenal. I think she works normal business hours like 9-5 or something like that, maybe earlier, and on the day of the wedding and even though she did not play a part in organizing anything physically, and any problems that night were to be addressed through another person, she was still there to make sure that everything was going well, and it was at least 3 hours later than I believe her to normally be there. The only problem that I ran into was the organization of reserving rooms, which was mostly my family's fault. I somehow got put in charge of reserving rooms for some people and it led to a family member getting another family member's room key. When Samantha asked me if there was anything she could do I mentioned it to her and she squared it away immediately. The family member was there in front of me at the time which was why I brought it up, I would've sorted it out myself later but I had plenty enough to do already and she offered haha! My grandfather asks her if she could also take his suitcase to the room and without any hesitation she agrees to do so. I was honestly really angry that he asked because that is totally not her job but it was appreciated because he is very old and doesn't walk well. The staff throughout the night were nothing short of amazing. Working some place where I interact with the public, I as well as others get worn out and it becomes such that every customer is another person and everyone begins to get handled as such. I did not feel that way once that night. Every Ameristar employee I encountered even in passing not only recognized me in a hundred people wearing suits, they congratulated my wife and I genuinely, not in a "thanks for coming. See you next time." Kind of way. At the end of the night, one of the gentleman brought our top layer of cake and leftovers back to our room for us whereas I was expecting to take it myself. Our reception was perfect and I could not have asked any more of anyone that night. A HUGE thank you to Samantha and everyone that worked with us on 02/25/2022!

We had our wedding reception in the ballroom! It was beautiful! Easy to work with Jodi and Samantha through the whole process. With COVID, they were very flexible about our guest count and last minute changes to the total. We had a wonderful experience!

Alison and I had our wedding in St Charles on September 25th and the accommodations provided by the Ameristar were excellent! It was Oktoberfest weekend so rooms were scarce but they made sure our party was taken care of, even last minute when we had an unexpected guest! The entertainment there was awesome, and we really liked top golf and the blues bar! Thanks Samantha, we will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful & seamless! Working with our wedding coordinator through the whole process took a lot of pressure off of me. I was absolutely worry free the day of, the staff helped me with a balloon drop, questions and requests were answered promptly and accommodated! They helped us with getting the decorations in and out, and storage! The food was AMAZING! They’re extremely flexible and we didn’t need our final count in until 3 days prior! The new landmark atrium was drop dead gorgeous and perfect with all of the character of the room and brick everywhere! You can get a banquet hall anywhere… go with this choice instead! Pricing is amazing compared to barn weddings! You don’t have to worry about weather, food, drinks, linens, chairs, etc. Its all provided! Guests have lots to do between ceremony & reception… continue the party to casino after… it couldn’t have been more perfect! Then guests can stay at the hotel after a long night of celebrations! I cannot say enough about the staff! Everyone was so nice and SO AMAZINGLY HELPFUL! A guest at our wedding needed private assistance and they quietly helped them and got them out without embarrassment. They literally just made my night go without any hiccups! By the way… I totally recommend staying the night before with 2 rooms so both parties can get ready in them the next morning. AND GET A COUPLES MESSAGE! The Spa is amazing! — we stayed 2 nights before the wedding and it worked great!

Our wedding ceremony and reception were in the atrium area and it was absolutely stunning! Jodie and Samantha were AMAZING at making things easy, stress free and so smooth. Everyone is still raving about the food a month later! Our guests all had a great time and easily moved over to the casino floor after the reception, perfection!

Our wedding and reception was at Ryse in Ameristar on Aug 21/2021. We got so so many compliments about the food, setting and overall venue. Samantha and all the staff were absolutely fabulous and I cannot express how perfect and organized our day was. Everything turned out so so amazing!

I cannot say enough about how great our experience was here. They made planning our wedding easy as possible. They worked amazingly with all our vendors and made the night as great as possible. Samantha and Jodie provided us with exceptional customer service throughout the whole process. Not only was the customer service great, but the food was amazing as well from the apps to the entres everything was awesome!! We highly recomendable them!

I cannot say enough about the staff at the Ameristar. From the assistance at the 3rd floor parking lot to unload and assist us to the Atrium room with our items to decorate to the end of the evening in our room, I felt like a princess! David was one of our terrific assistance in our reception hall and he went above and beyond for us. Even made sure to make us plates so we could eat because we were so busy with guest and dancing. Take advantage of all the areas outside the Casino for pictures. I wish we would have taken more. They do not allow any inside or actually on the floor, but we went to the second level and took some amazing shots with the Casino sign in the backdrop. The food was amazing. All of our guest, even the picky ones, raved about how good it was. Ashley was our Wedding Coordinator and she had everything just like we planned. Don't be afraid to ask. We did not want a big dinner for a 7pm wedding and it was our second wedding, so we did an appetizer bar and our guest loved it. I welcome you to think outside the box. The Chapel off the Atrium was perfect. Several guest raved about how nice it was to have cocktail hour before the wedding, move into the Chapel and then back to the receptions area rather than have to change rooms or drive some place else. I do recommend turning the fountain off during the ceremony. It was suggested and I didn't and as the wedding went on I wish we would have. Sounded like someone using the bathroom on our film. LOL. Our wedding was beautiful and everything we wanted something small and affordable and it was just that. We blocked rooms for our guest and they even gave them discounts for being part of the wedding staying the night and this was absolutely perfect. No one driving home after a long night of partying and the rooms are amazing. So clean. Plus it was great to be able to get ready in before the wedding. If there was one negative was ask your coordinator to turn up the air conditioning in the side room next to the chapel if you plan to stage your wedding party before going down the isle. It was very warm in there while we waited. I highly suggest requesting Ashley for an event Manager and David. They did an outstanding job!

As the father of the bride as well as a career food and beverage person, I was a bit skeptical of my daughter's choice to have her wedding ceremony and reception at "a casino". My concerns were quickly assuaged as we met with Jodie and the chef. The food was Tasty as well as plentiful. The Staff was fantastic to work with as they anticipated our every need. The Captain and servers and bartend staff were hospitable. Jodie and Samantha were there and promptly answered every call including day of ceremony and reception. The Ceremony on the patio was great and the flowers and extra touches were thoughtful and elegant. The Team at Ameristar could not have done a nicer job and we could not have asked for a more wonderful evening. Thank you to everyone for making this a perfect evening.

We held our wedding reception at Ryse in the Ameristar. It was amazing. The Ameristar staff, especially Jody and Samantha, made planning so easy and stress-free. The food is the best! We have received so many compliments on how great our food was (and it was even good the next day as they boxed up meals for our hotel room)! The customer service was above and beyond. Ameristar is my go-to recommendation for hosting your event!

My wedding was a dream come true thanks to Jodie and Samantha at Ameristar. With Covid, I had to move my wedding venue and was beyond stressed and they came through to save the day. The day was absolutely perfect in every way and I am so thankful Samantha was able to be there to guide me through it. The room was set up in line with my vision and the food was AMAZING. The hotel rooms were so nice too and casino was an added fun feature for guests! Coming from one of the most detail oriented people/brides, Samantha made it all happen. For anyone feeling stressed or trying to figure out where to go to have their perfect wedding… the Ameristar is 100% the answer. Forever thankful I got the help I needed to make my dream a reality!

In January, we had to move our wedding for a 3rd time due to Covid. We wanted to keep the same day, March 20th, which meant we had 60 days to plan a wedding. Jodi, Samantha, Jill, Chef and their entire staff were amazing. We had our ceremony in the Landmark Atrium, Our Cocktail hour in the pre-function area of Ryse, our dinner in the Lounge of Ryse and our reception inside of Ryse night club. Our Brunch the next day was at the King Cat Lounge. Everything was fantastic and went off without a hitch! Every detail was taken care of and our wedding was incredible! Thank you to everyone at Ameristar for being so awesome!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! We moved our daughters wedding reception from a downtown location to the Ameristar at the last minute. Jodi and Samantha were sensational to work with. They understood our dilemma and took an extremely stressful situation and made it a fabulous event. They jumped right to work. They were both easily accessible and helpful with suggestions for the venue and food. The food was FABULOUS. They assured me I would not be disappointed with the dinner and they were correct! Everyone raved about the appetizers and dinner. I would be remiss in not mentioning how wonderful the entire staff was. From the moment we arrived, we were treated royally. I cannot thank everyone at the Ameristar enough for a memorable, wonderful evening.

There are no words to describe how incredible everything was. Jodi and Sam were AMAZING in helping us create the perfect setting to our wedding. Between the awesome venue setting, wonderful food and excellent accommodations, my husband and I could not have asked for a better start to begin our marriage. If you are searching - SEEK NO FURTHER. The Ameristar was amazing for our venue. I cannot express enough about how great this venue was. We did the rooftop wedding and had our reception in the Ryse Night club. I began planning this wedding back in early 2019 and I requested multiple visits to ensure this was the right place for our wedding. Jodie was very prompt with replies, super kind, and accommodating. I almost feel as if no was never an answer that could come from them in response to a request I was making for our wedding. Once Jodie and I finalized the booking, Samantha took over to help us see our perfect day through. Although I had a day of coordinator - Samantha and her assistant Jill were there every step of the way ensuring everything was perfect! Our timeline, our process, EVERYTHING went off without a hiccup. My husband and I could not have been any happier with the services we were given. The chef at our tasting made it a fun experience and they even remember the little things from our initial remarks about our thought with their food by remembering our personal favorites and taste preferences.The food was AMAZING and unlike any wedding venue food I have ever had before. The service was impeccable! Their servers and bartenders were so pleasant and were genuinely excited that we were there, thanking us for picking them. I expected just a buffet style service but it did not stop there - there was waiters coming to tables to service drink needs, give out cake, and take drink orders. I was blown away. I ordered a drink and had a slightly different preference and Jill jumped in to make sure it was perfect and waiting for me at our sweetheart table. Not only that but they were very reasonable with their pricing and I felt we got much more than what we paid for. There are endless spots of great photo opportunities and the Ryse night club really brought an elegant feel to our wedding. Our guests loved the venue idea - when the party ended in the night club it started back up in the casino! We made a whole weekend of it here and we could not be happier with the services. As you many of you know 2020 has been a nightmare for couples who were planning a wedding during the pandemic. Even with our wedding date set for mid September my husband and I were a nervous wreck, especially after seeing soo many couples having to reschedule or even cancel their wedding. The Ameristar was with us every step of the way. It all started with our first look at the venue back in February 2020. With us originally just being interested in having only our ceremony on their outside lawn area Jodi was incredible with showing us different spaces for our reception as well. We fell in love with Ryse Nightclub. Later down the line we were introduce to Samantha who became our point of contact. She was amazing with setting up different meetings, from the tasting to us actually coming in to see a set up of a wedding in the same space we were having our celebration at. The communication, last minute accommodations, timely reply’s to emails, text, everything was done with professionalism. When we started panicking a few months before the wedding due to the cases of Covid and the closures of a lot of business, both Jodi and Samantha reinsured is that nothing is changing on their end, and if needed they would accommodate us if we decided to move our date into 2021. As my wedding day approached everything was perfect. My coordinator was even surprised by how helpful and involved Samantha and Jodi were the day of. So thank you both for making our day perfect!

I can't say enough good things about the entire staff at Ameristar. We worked very closely with Cody for our wedding and everything was literally perfect! We were a wedding during Covid and he was amazing with all our changes and helping us through every step of the way up until and through the wedding day. On the day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about anything and he and the staff took care of it all. Samantha and Jody were both there at various points to help and were great as well. The entire staff was friendly and made our guests feel like they were in another world. Not only did we love them but we got so many compliments on the venue and the staff!

Jodie and Samantha are your girls!! They answered every email, phone call, text, and more within the same day of asking. They made sure that every detail was taken care of and were always thinking 2 steps ahead of the game. My guests said that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding reception. Ameristar and the girls worked so well with what we were wanting, with our vendors, and even gave us some complimentary things as we went along. I never felt like they weren't on top of every situation. I would highly recommend and would love to do it all over again! Haha.

COVID-19 almost made my wedding day not come true two venues we planned with had shut down their buildings, but Ameristar truly came to our rescue and became the perfect venue to hold our Special day at Ryse! We had to revamp our entire Wedding and Samantha Jodie and the AMAZING event team made sure that everything went off without any issues even with ALL the changes on our wedding day lol. I truly and thankful that they made our day happen and could accommodate us at there space. Everything was so beautiful and the event space went perfectly with our theme!!!!. I wouldn't have changed it for the world and can't wait to plan another event there!!! You all were just so Kind professional and Fun to work with it!

I was on the verge of giving up trying to find a venue for our special day and I decided to call Ameristar. Jodie was so helpful in helping us decide and giving us several options. Once the decision was made Samantha jumped in and planned the perfect set up for us. Even with the weather not working with us because we wanted to be married outdoors she was able to create the perfect set up in the Ryse Nighclub that worked out even better. So elegant and intimate for our day. Her team was so attentive and the set up was absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend using this venue for your special day. So we went through a lot with COVID, long story short we had to re-plan our wedding several times. We thought we had a place planned out and ready to go, but at the last minute (3 weeks before our wedding) they canceled on us. My photographer suggested Ameristar Casino. Ameristar Casino was a hidden gem for us! We ended up on the lawn on the 5th floor. Working with everyone was the best experience and they wanted to make sure that we had a great experience. Jodi set us up with Samantha and Paul. They actually cared about our happiness and made me feel important! The people who worked with us are seriously the best. I would 100% do my wedding here again. They just made everything the best. Along with that, the food was amazing. Like I tried food for the place that canceled on us and it wasn’t that good; and I’m not stretching when I say the food is amazing at Ameristar Casino. I walked into the room to try the food and everything was so nice! Along with that, the service was astounding. They always made sure that everyone, not just the bride and groom, were happy and they were so kind. Even with everything that happened prior to choosing Ameristar, I wouldn’t have changed a thing because that lead us to this place. We had the best day!

We cannot say enough good things about our daughter's reception held at Ameristar. It is stressful enough trying to plan a wedding through this pandemic, but Jodi and Samantha took all the stress off of us. They were very reassuring about everything throughout the entire process so we never had to worry. We received nothing but compliments about the entire evening from our guest. We were told the food was the best they ever had at a reception and we agree! Everyone said they felt very safe by the way the tables were spaced apart and the way the food was served. The staff were unbelievable how helpful they were during set up all the way to the end of the night helping with gathering our belongings. We are so grateful to all of you!! It was such a beautiful night and we cannot thank you enough!!

Jodie and her team made our wedding dreams come true, even with having to reschedule and quickly replan our whole reception-they made it happen! The staff was INCREDIBLE! Our guests could not believe how attentive they were, constantly getting guests whatever they needed and staying positive and happy the entire night. Jodie responded to all emails and calls immediately, and was so professional, quick, organized, and kind through everything. She felt like a second mom helping us through this crazy process! Our cocktail hour in ryse was absolutely amazing, and the reception in the discovery ballroom was a true fairytale!!! It was more than we could ever have imagined. The food was spot on-people are still raving about the steak and lobster duo, and everything else. We love y’all SO much! Thank you for making our dreams come true!!! My goodness, words can not describe how amazing our experience with Ameristar! We had our reception and ceremony in the Ryse nightclub. Jodie and Samantha coordinator the entire experience for us and it couldn't have gone any smoother. They were so helpful from first to finish, put our minds at ease and we were alleviated of all stress throughout the planning! Such amazing ladies to work with i would HIGHLY recommend Ameristar to anyone wanting the most amazing experience for one of the most important days of their lives. We had our reception at Ryse Nightclub and it was truly unforgettable! Samantha and Jodie were so great throughout the entire process, making sure we were accommodated and happy along the entire way. Extremely receptive and responsive to any request! The venue was absolutely gorgeous and I had so many guests say they have never been to anything like it and had so much fun! If you want to have a wedding that is both unique and something people will remember forever, this is your space!

There are not enough good things I can say about my reception at Ameristar Casino & Resort. My wedding was perfect, and I know Ameristar is a massive part of that. From my first tour until the day of Jodie and Samantha took fantastic care of me! They helped with all my endless questions and made my vision come to life. I had initially booked the outdoor reception space (the event lawn), but due to weather, we ended up in the Imagination ballroom. The space was so romantic and beautiful. Changing from outside to inside was not what I had imaged, but it ended up being a perfect change. My favorite part (and my guests’ favorite part) was the food! I am a huge foodie, and having great food was a high priority for me. The food was so hot, fresh, and delicious. We had so many choices, and I got to customize everything to my exact needs. Overall, I would not have had such a seamless and incredible wedding reception without Ameristar Banquet Staff. They were organized, professional, friendly, and very prepared. I highly highly recommend Ameristar for your wedding.

We had both our ceremony and reception at Ameristar. The ceremony was on the lawn and reception in the nightclub. We were beyond satisfied with how everything turned out. It was absolutely beautiful! My guests commented on how excellent the food- some said it was one of the best wedding food they’d had. Jodie and Samantha were extremely helpful through every step of the planning! They were professional, organized, and personable. They went above and beyond and were able to cater to the majority of our needs/wants! Any request you may have, they’ll do their best to honor it! They’re also flexible and quick to respond to any email, text, or call. We also worked with Cody and Ashley the day of our wedding. They too were incredibly professional and helpful! The entire Ameristar team we worked with made our day so much better than we could’ve dreamt or asked for!

Samantha and Jodie are a dream team from beginning to end! They made wedding planning so easy, considering the guest list just kept growing. They were so accommodating with my tough schedule (I'm a nurse and work nights) and scheduled tastings and tours as they best worked for me. Samantha and Jodie were both readily accessible via email and text with not just me, but my dad as well. They were so flexible, which helped me to feel more comfortable about the whole wedding process. They were very attentive to my wants and desires for the wedding and ceremony. Additionally, they never hesitated to accommodate special requests. I am so impressed with their attention to detail and it is reflected in their work. Samantha gave us a sneak peak of our reception room before they let guests take their seats, and it was such a special moment for my husband and myself. They perfectly executed our dream wedding! Samantha and Jodie exceeded our highest expectations. It was very important to us to have our wedding in a convenient location. The hotel, restaurants, casino and kids arcade were perfect for family who traveled into town the day before the wedding. Our guests were so impressed by the entire property. They also thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at the reception. Thank you Samantha and Jodie (and the entire staff) for you hard work, dedication, and patience. Because of you all our wedding dreams came true!

Our wedding was flawless with every detail and the day of there was always a staff member checking in to make sure we were doing well! We had a large wedding and it went extremely smoothly at The Ameristar! They are the perfect venue and I highly recommend them!

The team at Ameristar were amazing! My wedding day could not have gone better! Jodie was so helpful and responsive when it came to the booking process. When the wedding day came there was rain in the forecast and we were having our reception on the event lawn! Samantha worked with me all morning to help me make the best decision whether to move it inside and I am so glad we didn't! Her help and support throughout the entire day made the day go seamlessly! She helped with everything from the room set up, ensuring the cake was placed in the right place, and even fluffing my dress! Finally, the banquet staff were so friendly and attentive during the reception! My wedding at Ameristar was the best experience!

We had the most perfect wedding day, despite the rain, we had planned an outdoor ceremony but the team at Ameristar jumped into action right when we saw the 90% chance of rain forecast and made the inside as close as possible to the outside. Samantha Gaulden was our coordinator and she did the best job start to finish, always there for questions and not making me feel like a needy bride, she was great!! The reception was gorgeous and I am still hearing from guests how amazing the food was and I completely agreed (the short ribs are to die for!!). The whole day went off without a hitch, Samantha and her team didn’t miss a beat! The only reason I didn’t give the whole experience at Ameristar 5 stars is because though hotel staff were nice they seemed to be disorganized and unsure what was going on at times, which as an organized bride was pretty frustrating. Overall it did not by any means ruin my wedding weekend just the one thing that I would not rate them terribly high on. Other than that the team at Ameristar allowed me to enjoy the heck out of my day without stressing over the details, I’m truly grateful to them for making it so special!!

Samantha and Jodie made planning our wedding EASY and it turned out PERFECT. Being an out of town bride, I was very stressed about not being able to be there every step of the way, they made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process, and worked with us to ensure we got everything that we wanted. No request was too large! Their professionalism and organization throughout the whole process couldn’t be matched. The day of they made sure we were able to get ready when we needed and came to make sure everything was perfect through the night.

We had our reception at Ameristar. Many of our out of town guests also stayed in the hotel. All the rooms were clean and large - everyone was happy with the accommodations. The location is near the airport, so travel was easy. The casino provided a great place for everyone to meet up and visit the night before - it also made a great place for everyone to meet up during the after party. We had a mishap with our cake from a third party vendor and Ameristar stepped up to fix it. The pastry chef was called and the crisis was averted. The food was delicious. We highly recommend the mac and cheese. Everyone is still talking about the food. Overall, Ameristar played a large part is making our special day perfect.

Samantha and the rest of the staff at Ameristar exceeded way beyond our expectations for the day. Not only did the day go smoothly but they even helped fix a huge mistake that was made on our end; our cake collapsed while being transported to the venue. Samantha contacted one of the chefs and they fixed it the morning of the wedding. It was done so well that we couldn't tell the difference. Many of our guest told us that it was the best reception they have ever been to and everyone had a different reason why. The food was absolutely amazing. The rooms were fantastic. The atmosphere in general was just incredible. Having the reception at the same place the majority of our guest were staying allowed everyone to let loose and not worry about driving after the fun was all over. I couldn't recommend this place enough and I hope that anyone on the fence will use this review as a reason to move forward with Ameristar as their wedding venue.

Ameristar made our wedding day a literal dream come true! A very non-traditional couple, Jodie had the perfect venue for us right in the nightclub, and Samantha and her team perfectly executed and met all of our expectations. My wedding coordinator said it they were hands down the best team she's ever worked with! They were extremely willing and accommodating for us planning out of state, and we knew we were in very good hands when talking to them every step of the way. Our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to--perfect with the amazing food and open bar options for each one of them. The team even let us extend our last hour a bit longer. I wish we could have a repeat of our special day. I highly recommend Ameristar for their service and management team.

I live in Pittsburgh and I am from St. Charles. My husband had a large group of family coming into town for our wedding. When looking for a venue I needed someplace to keep our guests entertained for the whole weekend. When I went and met with Jodie I absolutely knew Ameristar would be perfect. The hotel is beautiful. The casino was so colorful and there are so many options for photographs! The actual ballroom where the reception was held is so nice. It has a warm feeling and a unique look. Jodie came up with a proposal and I felt it was very reasonable with comparable prices to other places. The options for planning your reception are totally customizable. I worked with Samantha for almost a year on my wedding. She was so great! She was very nice and organized and cared about all the crazy details I wanted. When I went with my family to the tasting we got to meet the chef and the top staff. They too were so nice. The tasting was great. The food there is delicious. It’s top of the line. My guests raved about the food. I had my rehearsal dinner at Ryse Nightclub and it was catered. The staff that night was so nice. The bartenders were awesome. The lounge was gorgeous. I had a spa suite for the weekend and it was very nice. It accompanied my bridal party, about ten women along with a team of 6 make up artists on the wedding day. There was a lot of room and the bar in the suite was great for setting up food and mimosas of course! My husband was extremely impressed and so was his family and friends. We were very impressed with everyone we worked with. The bellman and valet guys at the hotel were very helpful, professional and nice. If you have never been to Ameristar and you are considering having your wedding there, I highly recommend you check it out. You will fall in love with the idea if you're anything like me. The night of the reception was magical and Samantha nailed it down to every last detail. Thank you for the wedding weekend of my dreams! My husband and I extended our stay because we didn’t want it to end!
