Working with Olivia was the best decision we could have made for our wedding! I always had a vision for my wedding and knew I would need an expert to help to put it all together. We cannot recommend Olivia highly enough! Amor Atelier was exactly what we needed from a full service wedding planner and more. Throughout every phase of the process Olivia was communicative, helpful, and made sure we felt comfortable with everything going on. Olivia seems to be extremely well connected in the San Diego area and identified the ideal vendors for us for flowers and rentals that were in our budget. She also did a great job managing the vendors we found ourselves. It was such a relief to have someone with deep experience at our venue. The day of went off without a hitch and as the bride and groom we didn't have to worry about a thing. Most importantly, myself, my wife, and our parents all found Olivia to be extremely easy to work and get along with and we all basically felt like friends by the end of the process. Working with Olivia Johnson, owner of Amor Atelier, was an absolute dream. When we first got engaged and booked our dream venue, L’Auberge Del Mar, it was overwhelming sifting through all of the vendors in San Diego and in stepped Olivia, taking away all of that stress. Olivia not only relieved us of the wedding planning stress but, designed a custom package that was not only within our budget but, that also met our needs. Our first meeting lasted over 2 hours as we chatted as if we were old friends and it was at this point we knew we had found someone we could trust to bring our vision to life. After meeting with us once, she curated a list of vendors that she felt fit our personalities and desires. She hit the nail right on the head with each and every one, making our wedding dream become a reality. Working together over the 9 months leading up to our wedding her passion and attention to detail were evident. When it came to the days leading up to our wedding we knew that everything was taken care of and we could enjoy family time as our guests slowly trickled in to Southern California. Our wedding day was hands down the best day of our lives and a lot of that had to do with Olivia’s hard work. Every little detail was absolutely perfect, from the table settings to the welcome table decor to the passed (sparkly) champagne, it was pure perfection and our guests continue to rave about how it was “the best wedding ever.” Not only did she take care of every little wedding detail, she also took the time to take our dog for a walk during the reception as he was the ring barer earlier in the day. Olivia Johnson is a true gem! We not only had the wedding of our dreams but, acquired a life long friend along the way. When I got engaged, I truly believed I'd be able to handle the details for my wedding. I'm an accomplished business owner who is capable of handling alllllllllll the details. As I started planning my wedding I very quickly realized that 1) planning a wedding was very much out of my skill set 2) I didn't enjoy the process and 3) investing in a wedding planner was the best use of my time, energy, and focus. Turns out planning weddings is stressful! The fix for that is Olivia! She is the bomb! She is the coolest cucumber, nothing rattles her, and that is EXACTLY what you need when planning your wedding. She has major connections tracks all the details, has the best "can do" attitude, is genuinely happy and kind and really truly WANTS your wedding to be your best day ever. Hire her. You won't regret it and you also won't be waking up at 3:20AM thinking "Oh shoot I forgot...."

Olivia is the BEST. We started working with her back in 2019, and she was there for us through the madness and uncertainty of COVID; as we postponed (and kept postponing) our big wedding, decided to throw a small family Minimony 2020, and then finally resumed planning and had our big wedding in 2021. Olivia is caring, supportive, organized - everything you could possibly want in a wedding planner. It was extremely easy to work with her as she always brought a positive energy, was extremely supportive of our wedding vision, stayed on top of all the many details, and helped drive the planning process forward. Working with her was like having a best friend and cheerleader who also happened to be an amazing wedding planner. Planning a wedding, especially in COVID, can be extremely stressful, but Olivia made it as un-stressful as possible. We always looked forward to our phone calls with her (we were planning our San Diego weddings from San Francisco), and actually miss the wedding planning process! We highly recommend that anyone getting married hire a wedding planner, and highly, highly recommend that they hire Olivia.

Thank goodness for Olivia!! I could not have planned my wedding in Southern California without her help - she truly made the process so much fun and took away my stress. I can’t recommend her and Amor Atelier enough. I was planning my wedding from afar, Chicago, and was having a tough time with even the first steps but especially with finding my vendors….Olivia made my process so much easier. She is extremely organized and helped me understand the process and form a plan. On top of that, she is a super sweet friend and ally to have in your corner; she was there for me through pressures and anxieties. I so appreciated that she let me bounce ideas and situations off her and could give advice. Most importantly - her and her team covered everything on the day of the wedding and made the entire event so smooth. Olivia was such a bright spot of the wedding planning process. She is a positive person with infectious joy, which brings much needed levity to the wedding planning. More than just a bright, can-do attitude, Olivia is an adept problem solver and planner. As a 2022 couple, we faced high demand for many of the things we envisioned and a number of changing policies and prices as the wedding industry recovered from the pandemic. Olivia had key insights into how to navigate these very real challenges and, best of all, solved many of these problems for us. From her years of experience in the wedding industry, Olivia has ample contacts with many vendors. Her knowledge of their offerings and her working relationship with many of the vendors we ultimately hired helped to streamline our process. She recommended some of the best in the business (seriously – people at our wedding were asking our vendors for their contact information!) and helped to make our wedding day so special. She successfully leveraged her contacts to help us realize discounts with certain vendors. Working with Olivia helped us take the dream wedding vision we had in our heads and make it a reality. Even when we couldn’t put into words exactly what we wanted, Olivia was often able to understand and propose designs that reflected our asks. She also helped to push us creatively, so our wedding presented a more cohesive design with high design elements. Without her, we would not have had some of my favorite aspects of our wedding day. For these reasons (and more) we unequivocally recommend Amor Atelier.

We are so thankful to have worked with Olivia throughout our wedding planning process. She was responsive and attentive from day one, and was so easy to communicate with from start to finish. I tend to be a procrastinator on big projects like this, and Olivia's continuous encouragement and positivity was invaluable in keeping me accountable. I truly felt like we became friends after working so intimately together for the past year. We had two major hurdles to deal with during our planning-- 1) our original wedding planner quit 3 months into the planning process, and 2) we were working with a venue undergoing construction. I was nervous about the transition to a new wedding planner, having to explain my vision all over again and rebuild trust, but Olivia put us right at ease with her psychology background. :) Despite having inherently different styles, she was very open to all my weird ideas (family style dinner!) and was always willing to listen to what I wanted even if I was unsure myself. She would communicate consistently on a weekly basis, and was very transparent as to when she would be out of the office. Our second hurdle speaks even more to what a good wedding planner can do. Our venue coordinator quit her job 3 weeks before the wedding, didn't let us know that no one was booked in our hotel block, didn't let us know that the construction wasn't going to be finished by our wedding date (when she said it definitely was going to be), and backed out on providing us with a room for an afterparty (which was also in the contract). This made for a very stressed out bride-to-be but ultimately, Olivia did all the coordination with the venue and stood up for me the entire time--- I really left it up to her to deal with. And ultimately, the day of the wedding went flawlessly, smoothly, and perfectly. I couldn't have ask for a more beautiful evening. I think this story speaks volumes to Olivia's professionalism and skills as an executor. Olivia, I wish you the best of luck with your future clients and events- they will be so lucky to have you!
