An Event to Remember

An Event to Remember was by far the best decision we made when wedding planning! Hayley was a great communicator and thought of all the details. The wedding came off without a hitch! An Event to Remember made sure wedding day was perfect!

My partner and I worked with Hayley during the last month before our wedding, and I can't recommend AEtR highly enough. Hayley is a real person who displays kindness, a sense of humor, and much-needed "we've got this" attitude during the planning process. On the day-of we worked with Hannah and Candace, who were incredibly supportive, on-task, and again, had that all-important human quality that had the three of us laughing as Hannah stitched the torn strap back onto my dress so I could keep dancing it up. So much thanks to the team - if you are thinking of going with these guys for your wedding, you won't regret it.

We used An Event to Remember for a partial wedding planning package as well as our wedding day florals, and we couldn't have been more pleased with how our day turned out. Hayley and Hannah were both wonderful to work with. Hayley covered all the final details of our wedding from vendor confirmation and coordination to reception décor. It was a huge relief for us to not have to worry about anything leading up to our big day, and they made sure we didn't have to lift a finger the day of. All of our guests even noticed how smoothly our day went and how beautiful our décor was! I highly recommend An Event to Remember for both wedding planning and florals!

I cannot recommend Hayley and everyone at an Event to Remember enough! Hayley truly went above and beyond to make my wedding day everything I could have hoped for and more. Because my husband and I were planning a wedding in Durham from out of town, Hayley did considerable leg work in the planning process. She reached out and met with local vendors for us, let us ship all of our wedding-related items to her house, and even sent us detailed packing lists before we left for the wedding. Planning a wedding--especially from a distance--can be difficult, but Hayley made it so much less stressful and a lot of fun. She is easy to talk to, very communicative, and incredibly knowledgeable about the planning process. She really takes the time to get to know you and your vision for the wedding and then does everything possible to make sure that vision is realized. I received so many compliments from guests about the beautiful table designs, florals, and seating chart that Hayley created for us. All this is to say, if you are looking for a wedding planner or coordinator, I highly recommend that you consider An Event to Remember :)

My husband and I hired Hayley from An Event to Remember for our wedding in April 2023. We had an initial zoom meeting with her to learn about the process and get to know each other - from the beginning she was so personable and fun to chat with. Right after this conversation we decided to hire her as our month-of planner. She sent us a checklist along with the contract & a list of what items she has that we can use for free or rent. Hayley was available via email prior to our month we hired her for for various questions regarding her inventory & how I should keep track of pictures/ideas I had to be best communicated to her. About a week or two before the month of our wedding, Hayley sent me a few forms to fill out so that she could get an idea of our vendors, our people, and what she would need to do as the date got closer. She made the process very easy & we had a final walk through a month before the wedding. Day of, Hayley must have had a twin because she was everywhere! She did a great job keeping track of everything, doing our design set up, florals, and making sure everything stayed on time & that I was doing well. She assisted out photographer in getting everyone set up for photos & communicated with her before hand because it was our photographers first wedding. All of this to say, Hayley did an amazing job. Made our day of schedule for us, kept us on it, and kept everyone calm, cool and collected (and also having fun). Hayley and her team are so sweet & did a fantastic job for us. Thank you Hayley!

An Event to Remember helped make our wedding day go as smoothly as possible. They were also great in helping us orchestrate a secret surprise for our family and friends! Further, they were kind and thoughtful at every turn. I highly recommend them and would use them again for any future event planning needs.

I cannot say enough great things about An Event to Remember. Hayley and Hannah were wonderful to work with . They are extremely knowledgeable, communicative, and have excellent ideas to help organize/design your event. The floral and wedding design were amazing and perfect. Our wedding day went extremely smoothly and all of our guests commented on how great it was. Would 100% recommend for a wedding or any other event.

Hayley was the best coordinator we could have asked for. Luckily, she was available last minute and very attentive and helpful during every step of the way. There is no way our wedding would have even been able to happen, let alone be stunning, without her help. She has a lot of experience and has a wonderful relationship with all of the vendors keeping them up to date on all the plans. She also did a great job of keeping us on track and was absolutely delightful to work with. I cannot recommend her enough!

My wedding day was perfect in every way imaginable and Hayley and Hannah from an Event to Remember worked tirelessly to ensure that it was. My bridesmaids talked endlessly about how I did not have to lift a finger on my wedding day because everything was taken care of by those two. The entire process of wedding planning was 100 times smoother because I had a team that worked to learn what I liked and how to best accomplish that. I actually miss my meetings with them now that my wedding is over. Book An Event to Remember and you won't regret it!

Hayley and Hannah are incredible! Our rehearsal dinner and wedding were beautiful and absolutely perfect thanks to them :) they helped keep me and my husband calm and confident leading up to the big day and made sure the big day went off without a hitch! Highly, highly recommend!!

Hayley and Hannah are a master team. We had a small COVID Wedding but these two made the experience more special that we could imagine. Pre-wedding, they were very instrumental in building the experience. We had a big picture in mind, Hayley and Hannah filled in all the extra details - from seating arrangements, the decorations and flowers for the ceremony, booking a photographer, Food for the mini-reception, ideas for send off, to the ceremony timeline. On wedding day, They handled all the logistics. They did not look stressed at all - like they were right there enjoying it all with you. I was most stressed about clean up and putting things back in place. They did a very good job to removing my focus from that, and I fully enjoyed being wed to my beautiful bride. If you are looking for a stress-free, enjoyable, fun, efficient and professional wedding planning and wedding experience, An Event to Remember is completely worth every value. Thank you

We initially met Hayley because we were interested in hiring her catering company Sage & Swift. She was very personable and excited about our wedding. She told us about her wedding planning business at our catering consult. Unfortunately, the catering did not work out, but we liked her so much that we hired her as our planner. She was amazing! COVID threw a wrench in our original wedding plans. We had originally planned a ~100 person outdoor wedding but had to change to ~25 guests. Hayley helped us adjust our wedding to meet our new needs and keep our guests safe. She helped communicate changes to vendors and the venue. She kept safety in mind during our walkthrough and made adjustments to the floor plan and seating chart. Hayley and her sister were both present on the day of the wedding. They worked quickly and efficiently to set up decor. They also helped us figure out how to get the wrinkles out of our stubborn table cloths last minute. We had problems with the caterers we hired, and Hayley made sure they were resolved and that I didn't know about them day of. My one regret about our wedding is that I didn't hire Hayley's company to do our catering. If I ever need to plan another large event I will be reaching out to An Event to Remember.

One of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process was hiring Hayley (An Event to Remember), who went above and beyond our expectations. She was referred to us by someone we know and we originally hired her to be our day of coordinator for our wedding of 100ish guests. We ended up downscaling our fall ceremony to 25 guests and rescheduling our reception to next year. She generously agreed to help us with both and was on hand to help us adjust our plans. I was continuously impressed with out organized and flexible she is, and it is clear that she loves what she does. She is great to work with if there are specific things you need help with, but maybe not everything. She was very willing to customize her services and contracts to meet our specific needs, and agreed to add on other things if we realized we needed additional help later, which was very comforting. She offered to help us with pretty much anything, and we used her help with decor, logistics, securing a DJ for our original event, finding a food vendor that met our COVID-19 needs (individual packaged hors d'oeuvres), and logistics. She was extremely generous with her time and answering all questions we had. When helping us with vendors and services, she never made us feel self-conscious about tailoring things to fit our budget. From working in catering, she is highly knowledgeable about event planning and working with vendors. We loved that she naturally sources from local businesses and is part of the green wedding guild. I'm so glad/relieved we have her to help us again with our reception next year. If you use her, I highly recommend using her sister Hannah as your flower vendor. She sources in-season flowers from local farms and the arrangements were gorgeous. They were a great team!

Haley is an amazing wedding planner. She is creative, patient, listens, and helped us design (and coordinate) my daughter's mini wedding during the challenging year of COVID. She will work with us next year for a postponed wedding celebration and reception. As a mother of the bride, I truly appreciate all that Haley did to make our wedding "an event to remember"!

The event to remember team were fantastic! The table decorations were the best I save seen. It was a seemless process that was set up and taken down by the team. Highly recommended.

Hayley helped us during the wedding rehearsal and ceremony with the timing of the walking. Nerves got a little high among family members during the rehearsal, but Hayley stepped in, super calm and collected, to calm a potential blow-up. She truly was a lifesaver. She was so professional and organized that the entire wedding ceremony went off without a hitch and we didn't have to think twice about it. Highly recommend if you're looking for someone cool under pressure!
