AN Intimate Affair, Amy and her team, were the most professional and calming team to work with throughout our daughters wedding planing and events. The three day destination wedding was implemented perfectly. Amy far exceeded our expectations and did so with grace, humor and professionalism. We could not recommend Amy highly enough to execute your dream wedding or event. She was a blessing to us all.

She was there every single step of the way: vendor meetings in person & over the phone, helping us get our thoughts together, meeting with our venue, helping with our vision and being a huge support system. The day of - I have never felt more calm knowing Amy and her team were in charge. Everything was PERFECT. Organization, communication, kindness, professionalism and so much more. You are getting above and beyond what you pay for. I dont think some of the top planners in the country can coordinate and plan in such a personalized manner as Amy did for us. I would reccomend her TEN TIME OVER! She is truly a part of our family now and we are so thankful for Amy, her team and our now blossomed friendship! You will NOT regret working with her!

It's difficult to express just how much working with Amy and the team at AN Intimate Event meant to us. Amy was incredible from the start. Her passion and dedication to our wedding was incredible. She interviewed me at length about my vision, my goals, budget, vendors, important attendees, etc. Amy made every step of the process a breeze. If I was feeling anxious, I could email/call/text Amy and she would either help take care of what was causing my anxiety or talk me down. I've never seen anyone handle a difficult or unresponsive vendor with such kindness but also firmness, ultimately resolving any and all issues that arose pre-wedding day and during! There were even a few problems that came up the day of that I never even learned about until days after. Our day would never have been as smooth and perfect as it was without Amy and her team. Love you, Amy!!

Our wedding was an absolute dream & it wouldn’t have been possible without Amy. She was there throughout every step of the planning process; Recommending vendors, comparing costs, giving honest opinions & making suggestions given her valuable experience. Despite her busy schedule she was a text or call away & was always excited to help. Weeks before the wedding everyone kept asking me “are you stressed?!” & I could honestly say no. I was the most relaxed I’d been throughout the wedding planning process. Amy handled EVERYTHING. Made phone calls, timelines, sent emails & finalized every little detail. She took all of the stress off my shoulders. The day of the wedding I don’t know how many times I said “Ask Amy” because I truly didn’t know the answer to questions. I couldn’t have done it without her. She was my lifeline. If there was a problem I didn’t know about it. She ensured our wedding day was seamless and perfect!!! I can’t thank you enough Amy!!!! ❤️

We cannot say enough positive things about Amy, she really made the wedding of our dreams happen. She helped us bridge and handle difficult conversations and was already willing to take a phone call. She never once made us feel that our ideas were not possible, but listened and guided to make sure we were making the right decisions for ourselves! She not only was a wedding planner to the bride & groom on the big day but to the entire wedding party! She became an auntie, a sister, and an extra daughter to those around! Amy and her team saved the day when the groom split his pants right before the grand entrance!! Amy is the reason we had the wedding we did, and that I would do the entire wedding planning process again. She made it enjoyable and made sense to our vision! As a June 2023 bride, I cannot recommend Amy enough to make your big day that much more relaxed and special. She allowed us to focus on each other and enjoying each moment, rather than the small stuff behind the scenes! Amy has become family and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Amy helped me plan a brunch after a retirement party for my husband. She was prompt and helpful, understood what I wanted and her fee was very reasonable.

I don't know where to start... Amy is incredible! From our first phone call to the day after the wedding, Amy was attentive, detail-oriented, organized, easy to communicate with, timely, understanding, realistic, and most importantly, KIND. When I first mentioned to my husband my desire to hire a wedding planner, he thought I was ridiculous. During the wedding, and then again after the wedding, he confirmed that hiring Amy was the best wedding decision we made! Amy truly made our wedding dreams come true.

We hired Amy as our month-of coordinator a couple months before the wedding. She quickly got in touch with all our vendors and identified things we would have forgotten about. The rehearsal and the day of went super smoothly, and we're really grateful for all the work she did for us :)

My mother in law hired Amy to manage our Newport, RI wedding weekend in July 2022 at the Tennis Hall of Fame. My husband and I picked all of our vendors ourselves and we weren't originally going to hire a wedding planner, but I'm so glad we did. The logistics of any wedding are challenging even for the organized, and a wedding planner is a must, at least for the day of/wedding weekend. Amy was incredibly organized, and had regular meetings with us in the weeks leading up to the event. She planned everything down to the last detail, including the rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and farewell brunch. She is a great listener, and has a real understanding of the vibe couples are trying to achieve at their events. She will work with you to make your vision a reality. When the day of the wedding arrived, Amy showed up bright and early with her wonderful assistant Rachel and a basket of snacks, electrolyte hangover remedies, and more. There was a potential crisis: electricity went out in town and didn't come on until a few hours before the wedding! But with Amy and Rachel on the case I knew everything would work out. Throughout the wedding reception Amy was still checking in to see if anyone in the wedding party needed anything. She also gave my husband and I lovely cookies and a candle as a gift, and later she selected some of our wedding photos to put up in her office. Months later, guests are still raving about our wedding, and have said that it's one of the best they've ever attended. I know this is in large part because of Amy's incredible work.

Amy is the absolute best asset you could ever have for planning your wedding day or any event for that matter! She is beyond helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with. My wedding would not have been the same without her guidance and assistance. Weddings are tough to plan…. Everyone’s got their personal preferences and vision of how they want their big day to be and Amy gets to know you and captures every bit of what you had in mind! I would recommend Amy to anyone who wants their event to go perfect without fail!

Title: Father of the Bride I would like to share my experience in planning my daughter’s wedding in March of 2022. As father of the bride, there is a responsibility to assure the wedding day goes perfectly. Only having one daughter and no experience in this process, I like many dads, rely on my daughter to do the planning. This sounds like all I needed to do right? No so fast. There is so much to plan, so many questions, so many details, so many cost concerns, times, dates etc. You get the picture! To have my daughter handle all this could add great pressure in a time that should be joyous and enjoyable. Myself and my wife could certainly help but not having planned a wedding before, how could we assure ourselves and our daughter that her wedding day would be the best day that it could be? This is where Amy Norton came in! A wedding planner! There are movies about wedding planners, they are talked about often, but do they fit the bill? A lot of times wedding planners are not even used. So was Amy necessary? I am writing this review to answer that question and the answer is a RESOUNDING YES! Planning a wedding is a process and to get the most out of the wedding experience, you need to enjoy this process. This is Amy Norton’s expertise, the process! From the first day we met to the after party on the day of my daughter’s wedding, Amy was there to make sure the process was executed perfectly. Amy’s experience was unprecedented when it came to planning our daughter’s wedding. From our very first meeting, I could tell Amy was competent, confident and compassionate when it came to our daughter’s wedding. Amy made us feel and believe that our wedding was going to be awesome. What a feeling to leave with after a first meeting! Throughout the entire process, myself along with my wife and daughter had open access to Amy via cell phone or email. Amy always responded within a timely fashion no matter how we contacted her and she always made us feel like the choices we were making along the way would be outstanding. There was not a detail that Amy did not bring up and she always offered multiple options to fit both a budget and a style preference. Amy’s organization plan for our wedding was key. Dates, times, deposits, tastings etc. were all coordinated by Amy and well communicated to us. Trying to plan a wedding for ourselves without Amy could easily lead to potential misgivings. There are so many tasks to execute on within a very limited time to do so. Amy made sure all our deadlines and requests were met. Why take a chance on one of the most special days for any unforeseen errors? Why not utilize a resource to make sure this special day is executed to it’s maximum potential? Amy Norton is that resource. I can say from experience that Amy Norton was the most valuable asset to our daughter’s wedding day! There are so many choices to consider for a wedding, too many to list. If you are reading this review that means you are starting the wedding planning process. Your first and best decision should start with Amy Norton. If you want to have peace of mind and enjoy the process of planning a wedding, then Amy Norton will offer you just that.
