w rises instead of any larger high rise buildings), but the whole Andaz team (and especially George who managed our contract upfront and then Brenda who was the amazing events manager) just blew us away. We chose to be married on Albers lawn given our smaller guest count of 70 people, and that was the perfect area for us. The setting looks back on Camelback mountain, and the entire setup just couldn’t be better. We didn’t have to do any turnovers either since there was a separate lawn for the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the dinner. The landscaping in this area is just perfect for a Scottsdale wedding (think cacti and agave plants and palm trees). The entire process from start to finish was seamless and easy. Brenda was on top of everything, and she worked super well with our outside wedding planner (shoutout to Revel and our amazing planner Emma). Brenda made sure to make any needed adjustments, and her staff just nailed the execution of our perfect wedding. We loved the food and the service, and our guests also raved about the food (which is a serious compliment considering the challenges of wedding food). Plus, we were able to block guests rooms for many of our family and friends who truly enjoyed the property. We had a welcome reception at the beautiful pool the night before the wedding (again just so scenic), and our guests were able to enjoy the gorgeous Andaz amenities throughout the weekend. Highly recommend without any reservation!

spaces are beautiful and the mountain view is amazing! We chose the Albers lawn and loved the use of the different spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. We had 75 guests and it was the perfect size! From the start, everyone we worked with was amazing especially Brenda! She was very responsive to our emails and was great to work with. On wedding day itself, the entire team was amazing and fulfilled all requests we had! All of our guests raved about the venue as well as the food. Could not be happier with Andaz and would chose is again in a heartbeat! We also did a breakfast there the next morning with our guests and it was perfect - we set this up through Brenda and required very little coordination on our part and the food was great! We used one of their smaller spaces outside and it worked perfectly! A couple thing to note is that the Albers lawn is very close to an area of guest rooms, but unfortunately we did not get those rooms for the wedding party/getting ready room/guests those rooms, despite booking the space about 1.5 years in advance. It sounds like this is common and they generally do not reserve those for the weddings there. It worked out fine but led to a relatively longer walk back to our room after a long night of dancing. You are required a 10 room block minimum while booking which can be difficult to fill as it is expensive, even with the discount they give (~$550 a night). They also do not provide 2 getting ready rooms - they provide one and then we had to book our suite an extra night to use as the second getting ready space which adds on some extra money but using the suite for the getting ready room was perfect for my smaller bridal party and it was easy to have them deliver food/drinks to the room! When we toured the space there was lights hung in our space where we would have dinner and were told they would be up (not at extra cost) but about 2-3 months prior to the wedding these were taken down and we were informed we would have to pay for them to be rehung for the wedding which lead to some extra cost/stress before the wedding. Thankfully we had an amazing wedding planner so other than the extra cost did not affect us too much.

of staying on the property. It is incredible! We had a lot of out of town family stay at the resort and everyone could not get over the beauty and unique vibe of the property. As far as the wedding, Andaz did not miss. From the ready room, to the ceremony space, to the food, to the service everything was absolute perfection! I never felt stressed on the day of the wedding because of how well prepared Andaz was. I had so many guests comment on the service and the food being fantastic. As far as the planning process, Brenda is such a pleasure to work with. She is knowledgeable and responds in a timely manner. No detail was overlooked by her and her team. I cannot recommend this venue enough! We already talked about a staycation for our 1 year anniversary! Thank you to Andaz for making our day absolutely incredible and unforgettable. We are so lucky to have chosen Andaz.

Food & Drink - Having the food, cake, and bar services in house made for an easy experience for us as the couple, as we were already working to juggle so many other vendors. Any of our guests with allergies were well taken care of - even ones with extreme allergies, the Andaz staff took the time to find them and ensure they would have a meal they could enjoy. We loved the food and cake tasting experience! Talk about feeling like a VIP! Our guests are still calling raving about the food form our wedding! The Andaz was sweet enough to make sure we had apps to try once we sat down for dinner and even left us a little surprise back in our room for once the night was over! Rentals - there are many rentals (tables, linens, silverware, chairs, plates/dishes) that are included with the Andaz. Some we took advantage of, some we did not. It was nice to have these as options as we worked out the budget and planning/design for our wedding. Scenery - I mean, come on!!! Talk about feeling luxurious while still enjoying deserty atmosphere! No one nails it quite like the Andaz! We had beautiful sunset views of Cambelbak for our ceremony and reception. Again - another aspect of the Andaz that has left our guests speechless and talking about for days. Staff - Brenda was a joy to partner with. Her entire staff was so supportive and made up feel like King & Queen of the resort for the weekend! We cannot wait to come back to the Andaz to celebrate many future milestones as a couple! A bonus of the Andaz was the complimentary wedding night room and Hyatt points that we'll be using towards a future vacation!

modating. All of our guests raved about the food (not just at the wedding but for the entire long weekend) and the hotel property. Brenda Bernal and her team were so helpful throughout the planning process which we really needed as we were from out of state. We chose the Elopement Package because we had a smaller wedding. We were able to add on additional food, appetizers and specialty drinks to accommodate our group that grew to 36. Have to admit I was a bit nervous about pulling everything off since I wasn't there on site for the planning, but there were no problems. The pastry chef created a stunning cake. Our flowers were done by Dani at Let's Bloom Designs and there were absolutely perfect!! I wanted something a bit different than her traditional offerings and she created a bouquet and table decor even more beautiful than I imagined!! Our wedding was in late November so the weather was the perfect temp and back drop for the 4 pm ceremony. Once the sun went down it got a bit chilly and but we had asked for propane heaters so our guests were very comfortable. We can't say enough about our experience. We wish we could do it all again!!

The staff was phenomenal, and the drinks & food (most important) were fantastic. Would recommend it through and through!!

Even though we had less than 25 guests, we did end up booking a planner, which I recommend. (We went with Laki, who also did the flowers as part of the Andaz elopement package.) If you are coming in from out of town like I was, I would also recommend booking a night at the hotel before the ceremony so you have a place to get ready the day of. The staff at the Andaz was excellent, the food was delicious, and the setting was absolutely gorgeous, with the lights, the palm trees, and the sunset behind the mountain. I felt like I was in a dream. It was the best night of my life and my husband said the same! We would highly recommend getting married at the Andaz.

I came out to walk down the aisle with my children and my initial reaction was, "this must be someone else's wedding?!" It looked like something out of a fairytale. (I was blown away but recovered quickly because I was one of the main participants in the wedding!) Brenda and her team were on it from the very first meeting until that last guest left. The food was to die for, the cake - personally and expertly designed by their resident pastry chef - was and has been the talk of many guests for over a month now. The accommodations and special attention were world-class. Any need we had, any extra thing we asked for was done with grace and promptness. I still daydream about my wedding day. Andaz Scottsdale will always be that special place for us. I highly recommend Brenda and the entire team at Andaz Scottsdale. The property is stunning and the entire staff is so expertly trained to ensure every little detail is covered. Thank you, Brenda, and to all who made our special day the most memorable!!

We planned this wedding from Cleveland, Ohio which was not an easy task in general, but the Andaz made this simple. The staff was amazing on the wedding day- thank you Sue and Aaron!! We have absolutely zero regrets and wish we could relive the whole experience over again! Not to mention, the resort itself is beautiful, the grounds are pristine. It is the perfect Arizona setting, modern but still captures the beautiful desert.

I highly recommend doing your wedding here - our out of town guests felt like they were in the middle of a postcard. We had a few guests with special meal requests and there was not one mistake. Everyone loved the food as well. The Andaz truly is the best venue in the paradise valley area - I spent a ton of time comparing all the venues (sanctuary, royal palms, etc.) and you get the most bang for your buck here. Most importantly, their space is functional - which you don’t realize how important that is until you’re starting to draft the layout. They also hook you up with the best room! Thank you George, Brenda, & Maryann!! We had the wedding of our dreams and our guests literally felt they were in a postcard and can’t stop texting us about it.

On top of it all, they were great in helping us tailor our experience and get the best value for the package that we chose. During the pandemic, George was literally doing EVERYTHING at the property, and was a one man resort team. Even with all of that, he and the Andaz staff were understanding and unpretentious. If I saw George on the street he would get a giant hug from our entire family.

n LOVE and did not care when we would get married so we asked George to send us their schedule of open availability so we could try and choose that way. I reached out through the Knot app, email, and voicemail and unfortunately did not receive a response through any of them.. I re-requested to talk to someone and was told I would be contacted the day after my phone call.. that was back in April.. I re-emailed and called and left voicemails as well. It has now been almost 4 months and I just do not understand the ignoring and lack of response. After reading the wonderful reviews I just feel neglected at this point and wondering if I did something wrong myself. If someone could finally reach out to me with at least an answer of some sort I would still appreciate it.. again I really wish I was not writing this right now and would be half way through planning my wedding :(

he way. From the menu selection, to the floor plans, working with our vendor team and all the details in between, the Andaz staff went above and beyond to make sure our wedding weekend was perfect. We chose Cholla Lawn for our ceremony/cocktail hour and had our dinner and dancing in Foundry Ballroom. Both looked absolutely beautiful! Plus, you can't beat that view of Camelback Mountain from Cholla Lawn!! We also rented out the retreat and had all of our close family and friends stay there for the weekend, which was one of our favorite memories - I would highly recommend! Thank you again to George, Michael, Sue and everyone else at Andaz that made our wedding day possibly.

With the help of our planner, we did everything from out of town so we needed to work with a team that was responsive and flexible, and George was great about always getting back to our daily emails. All of our wedding guests were thrilled with the accommodations and George went above and beyond for both of the events (wedding and welcome party) that we hosted on site. I highly recommend the Andaz!

- next level. I caught several guests having conversations for 10-20 min with our servers, and I think that shows the level of hospitality and comfort that everyone felt with the team. No request was too big of an ask. Our guests said afterward that they had never had such great service at a wedding they had been to, and we couldn’t agree more. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for us for what could have been disappointing, an afterthought or subpar given the times. Andaz sacrificed no detail. We are so happy we chose Andaz as our venue.

and the wedding venues had some spectacular views. The food was not your traditional wedding food which completed our decision to have our special day at the Andaz. We loved that it felt like we were in the middle of the desert and also minutes away from old town. We highly recommend this place for anyone’s special day.

Working with the event coordinator George was also a pleasure as he checked on us frequently and was always willing to go out of his way to assist. He also dealt with my weird and random questions throughout the whole process. He helped with our wedding and events run so smoothly and I couldn’t recommend this venue more. We plan to celebrate our one year anniversary in Nov. there as it is now our favorite place in the world! And bonus - By choosing this venue we received Hyatt points from the hotel as well that resulted in us going to the Andaz in Costa Rica and had thee best time. innesota. We knew we needed to find a venue with a team that was knowledgeable, accommodating, quick response times, etc. George was just that from day one and he is THE BEST! From our first conversation, we knew that we could trust him with our wedding day and we booked without seeing the grounds in person because he just gave us the right impression. This was after making 30+ phone calls to other venues as well. We did make two trips to the resort before our wedding our in person planning meetings were always so thought out and constructive. It never felt stressful, it just felt fun and continued to get us more excited about our day. We have fallen in love with the resort and the atmosphere. We travel monthly, all over the US and worldwide and we always find ourselves comparing all other resorts to the hospitality that Andaz always provides you. My husband have very differing tastes when it comes to style and Andaz was able to pull off a casual yet formal, classic elegance vibe perfectly for our wedding. There was nothing more magical than having our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all outside - watching the sunset, dancing under the stars. The space they provide you is not cramped whatsoever and every event was so close to walk to, yet separated enough to make you feel like you weren’t in the exact same space for the entire evening. For reference, we booked the Albers Lawn, had our cocktail hour around the spa pool, then had dinner & dancing between the Albers Lawn & Spa. We loved sharing the experience of the unique casitas, amazing food and incredible spa and staff with our wedding guests. All of our family and friends raved about our wedding and reception and how well executed it was - which was entirely the Andaz team and our event planner (Laki Events). We are just coming up on our one year anniversary and we are going back to celebrate at our favorite place that will always be so special to us. We booked The Albers House for our stay and hosted a welcome party (about 50 guests) Highly recommend this! For some, it was the highlight.

d I still cannot get over how perfect Andaz was. George and his incredible team made every detail perfect the day of and I love how attentive and cared for we were the entire weekend. As our wedding approached, I was relieved to realize that I would not have to worry about a single reception-related detail because George has incredible planning skills and communicates effectively throughout the entire process. I am also grateful for the flexibility the event team has throughout the planning process, which can accommodate so many custom details, from food to lighting. I especially loved how they handle so many of these details in house! Which means having fewer vendors and fewer headaches. Our cake was designed by their talented pastry chef who able to take my simple ideas and turn them into a masterpiece. I strongly encourage anyone who is considering getting married here to reach out for a visit. You will be blown away!

en the pandemic hit we were forced to change our plans and we knew family and friends were not able to travel to California. I scoured the internet to find another location, and then I saw The Andaz Scottsdale Elopement package come up on my Instagram feed. My then fiancé and I knew it was perfect for us. After meeting George Romero, once for a venue tour, we fell in love with the beautiful venue. It embodied the perfect intimate desert vibes we had been looking for to hold our 10 person wedding. I planned the entire wedding with them and their team over email and Zoom, Lara Jacobs from Laki Events collaborated with Andaz and helped coordinate florals and rentals along with George and his team, which was all-inclusive in their amazing Elopement Package. I had my whole family from California drive out and stay at Andaz the week of the wedding. We have traveled all over the world before, and stayed at many different places. However, I am not exaggerating when I say we have never received the type of warm hospitality and kindness from a hotel staff. From the moment my family checked in they were all treated with the highest level of service throughout their stay. It is amazing to receive this kind of kindness and helpfulness from staff, but especially comforting during a pandemic. After a short time of planning, and not seeing any of the florals or taste testing the food until the day of, the team at the Andaz magically created my dream wedding better than I could have ever imagined. We got married in one of their several beautiful lawns, overlooking the sunset behind the Camelback Mountains. George, Lara, and their teams were so attentive and truly made us feel like Royalty. Every detail was perfect and it was because of their talents and the care they put into making our wedding special. It was the best day of my life and I could not be happier that we had to change our original plans because I am so thankful we got married at Andaz Scottsdale! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue in the Scottsdale area, it is the best decision we ever made!

The night of was perfectly planned, the crew was inviting and made sure my champagne was never out ;) the grounds were immaculate and they even smelled good! Jill, who was beyond accommodating and then towards the end of our planning we worked with George, who was equally amazing! You're treated like royalty there and your guests are as well. We had our ceremony at their Cholla Lawn with Camelback mountain as our backdrop and we had our reception at the Foundry Ballroom. The Foundry Ballroom is simply elegant, and one of the things I loved about the ballroom is that you don't need a lot of decor, the ballroom speaks for itself, especially with the beautiful and modern wood accents. Okay...now let's talk about the food and drinks! The food, cake and drinks are ALL AMAZING! The presentation of the food is like that of what you'd experience at a five start restaurant, definitely not your typical wedding food experience. Our guests couldn't stop ranting and raving about it! We also had a lot of out of town guests and we were able to secure an amazing group rate. Many of our friends couldn't stop talking about how amazing their rooms were and how impressed they were with the hospitality at Andaz. I recommend Andaz to anyone, for any event, or even if you just want to get away for a weekend, or simply grab some great drinks and have a tasty bite to eat. My husband and I enjoyed our wedding weekend so much that we're already thinking about when we can go back for a staycation! :)

We also wanted a cosmopolitan level of service and an aesthete both modern and hip without losing a tasteful 5 star feel. The Andaz was that and more. Meredith Morris and staff at the presented an outstanding level of service that stood out from the rest. The moment we stepped on the property we were delighted by the craft cocktails, pistachio stuffed dates, world class menu at Weft & Warp, hospitable staff, and the charismatic aesthetic of modern cement floors mixed with vibrant hues and mid century modern furniture. Our guests loved the famous golf nearby and rented cabanas by the pool enjoying snow cones while waiting for our ceremony. Rare to find, Andaz offers an area with it's own House, pool, and casitas. We rented the sexy Girard House to host a private welcome party to a view of the sun setting over the Camelback Mountain. We did not need to use as many flowers and props some venues might require because they may lack the natural beauty of the property itself. The Cholla Lawn made for beautiful pictures with its symmetry and orange tree lines. Head chef Andy and team created a menu that was as delicious as it was beautifully presented in a family style setting around long farm tables (so many compliments from our guests!) Meredith worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail was accounted for- challenging given we were from out of town and the hotel had yet to be completed. On top of meeting our picky requests, she went above and beyond and even left personalized welcome notes & flip flops in each room. This high touch service did not go unnoticed and everyone enjoyed this venue so much we will be returning for future getaways!

not one thing I would change about our decision to book Andaz for our wedding and reception… well, maybe one thing…. I wish we had found them sooner! My husband and I are both very detail-oriented individuals with high expectations, a predilection for making special requests, and a shared vision for what we wanted our wedding to be – and the Andaz team could not have done a better job making our dreams a reality. We planned a “modern black tie” event. Our colors were black, white and gold. We were going for sleek, timeless, and sophisticated, with a little bit of modern edge. (I’ve included photos for reference). My husband and I knew what we wanted, and we weren’t afraid to ask the Andaz team to accomplish our vision. Let me tell you - they were SO accommodating. They made us feel that our crazy requests were completely attainable. In fact, they made everything we asked for happen, from designing us a gorgeous modern cake for our reception, to providing a beautiful dance floor free of charge, to letting us use whatever furniture they had on site (complimentary), to hanging bistro lights just for our day, to even sending someone to Nordstrom the day of because the Groom forgot his tuxedo pocket square. They did EVERYTHING you could imagine and, when asked, always replied, “Of course, we can make that happen.” We felt so taken care of by them… and our guests felt so taken care of by them – which was a huge stress relief for this detail-oriented couple. While the entire Andaz staff was absolutely wonderful, I must highlight one person in particular: Meredith Morris. Meredith is the event coordinator for Andaz. She is also a guardian angel, fairy godmother, genie, and wonder woman. Meredith orchestrated everything to perfection (no surprise since she’s been in the wedding planning industry for years). She made sure that no corners were cut. She made certain that everything, down to the very last detail, was handled seamlessly (often without my involvement… which I am so grateful for!). Thank you so much Andaz for your outstanding service and attention to detail! The Andaz team made our wedding the most magical, seamless, stress-free day of our life. You know how people always say that something goes wrong on the wedding day?... Nothing went wrong on our wedding day! I couldn’t be more enthusiastic to write this review for the Andaz. If you choose to have your wedding at Andaz, they will go out of their way to make your dreams a reality. Love, A very, very happy bride.
