My Husband and I were just married at Andre's South location on September 24th. We had our ceremony there, and the reception. We could not be more pleased with the way everything turned out! There were a few bumps, but all in all, it was a fant...astic day!
A few things that went astray... I was told when I first met with the Andre's staff, and booked our event, that the Rear Ballroom, the room we booked, would have it's own bathroom. We did not find out until the day of our wedding that we would in fact be sharing the bathroom with another Ballroom. This was a problem, because I had planned on putting my dress on at Andre's before the ceremony. When I arrived, our bathroom was full with the whole bridal party of the other wedding. I ended up using another bathroom, and guests from another event were coming in & out while I was getting dressed! I would recommend adding another bathroom. So each ballroom has it's own. Also, maybe a room where the Bride & her party can get ready. Also, when we had our walk through, a few days prior to our wedding, it was very vague. I should have asked more questions, I suppose, but everything seems pretty black & white until the day of... Then just walking down the aisle seems like the scariest thing you've ever done! The rehearsal was very quick, and we did not have a chance to practice our walk, or explain to our young Son, the ring bearer, what he was going to be doing. Now, we did not pay for a rehearsal dinner, but that is no excuse. We should receive the same service, just minus a dinner to go with it. Other than that, there were a few hurdles, mainly just, "he said, she said," stuff. Very easy mix ups, for the amount of people, and events they handle each day.
Now, to express our gratitude... Everything was perfect! Yes, we had some mix ups, but those are to be expected. All in all, we had the best day of our lives! When I first booked our event with Andre's, they were SO helpful. I've never even been to a wedding before! My own wedding was the first I'd attend! So, I had about 300 questions for them, and they answered every one of them. They helped me through each step, and made sure I understood everything. I also LOVED the, "one & done," options they offered. We booked our D.J. through them, booked our pastor, ordered our invitations, and ordered the tuxedos. They offer chair covers, table covers, runners, all the works! We did almost everything through them, besides buy my dress! Also, they offer $100 off if you book with 4 of their vendors. It was so simple, and worked great for me. When it came to the day of... It went perfectly! Everyone said the place looked beautiful, and it did! It was just what we wanted! The ceremony went off without a hitch, quick, but personal. Just what we wanted. The food was TO DIE FOR! We ordered a chocolate fountain, and they offer an open bar. It was all fantastic! Diana was our coordinator, and she walked us through the day, and kept the D.J. in the loop. They handled everything, just like having a wedding planner there.
Did I mention... All of this was UNDER our $5,000 budget?! Andre's offers it all, with a budget in mind. It's a perfect place for someone looking for elegance, but can't afford a high end event.
Also, Diana was amazing! Along with everyone at Andre's. Diana went on maternity leave shortly after I booked our event with her. After she left, I dealt with everyone there at one point, and they were all friendly, and answered any questions I had!
