The team at Andre's were great! At first we were missing our cake topper, but they helped us get everything perfect. Great price for the quality of food and attentiveness.
Great food and the bartender Tara was great at mixing drinks, giving great ideas when you are not sure what you want to drink. Make sure you ask for her, you will not be disappointed.
** Update - Andre's has agreed to move the date.
We put a deposit with catering for this company. In booking, I asked if we would get the deposit back if we canceled. The woman advised we wouldn't but could move the date. I requested to move the date and am now being told I will lose my deposit. Deceitful.
My fiance and I attended a taste testing event. It was a wonderful experience and extremely helpful in the planning process.
My wedding reception at Andres was a frustrating experience. I booked my event three months out and was directed to a different sales person each time.
They were hesitant to offer me a tasting. While the food at the tasting was good, the night of the event the chicken was extremely dried out.
I requested three times to meet with the coordinator that would be present the night of my event but was told by Greg that that wasn't necessary, they do so many of these event each year that they could do this in their sleep.
When going to the outside venders that they work with (such as the bakery for the cake "included" in my package) I was told that the sales men at Andres had given me inaccurate information or left out details so the deal wasn't as good as originally described.
Two weeks before my event I met with yet another sales man to give a final count and go over final details. They said that dinner would be served at 6 and I based my night's time line off of this.
The night of my reception, I realize it is after 6pm and dinner is not being served. I have to hunt down the "coordinator" I have never met with before and ask why dinner is not being served. She then explains that they have to pick up salad plates first, dinner was then not served until 7pm. This messed up my entertainment's schedule and they were unable to play for the times assigned for them and my guests became irritated. Later in the evening, while my guests are still present the coordinator came up and asked how my night was going. I was honest with her and explained that it had been frustrating but I was still trying to focus on my wedding reception and guests. She followed me and in a loud dramatic voice attempted to continue to discuss that she was oblivious to why it would be frustrating. She then went and bothered my husband and his friends telling him that the bride is angry and upset. After making a scene with them, she then went up to my entertainment and told them that I was angry and upset. The coordinator was very unprofessional.
When our event was over and we were collecting our things, a person from the kitchen staff talked with my husband and me. She explained that she was sorry that we had a frustrating evening and explained that the sales staff does not communicate with kitchen staff. I don't know what I could have done differently to help my wedding reception run smoothly as I asked several times to meet with staff that will work my event and was denied by Andres every time.
Beware they are buying 5 star reviews buy offering a free appetizer in exchange ($500ish value)
Their food was good but other than that We were disappointed with Andres.
Our venue required we used Andres which seemed ok at first but once we signed their contract their attitude changes pretty quickly
We worked with Greg at Andres who promised the world before signing a contract and then became very reluctant to follow through with these items, at first we were told they would do just about anything for us and had 2 suggestions for us that we liked including that we could bring a homemade side & bar snack and that the bartender could keep a little snack up at the bar stocked and they could set out the homemade side for our gust to serve themselves with the rest of the food. After signing the contract Greg was very reluctant so we wound up dropping these ideas, that they had suggested to us prior. He said bartenders would be to busy to really do anything else and that they could only do homemade side if it didn’t need to be refrigerated or warmed up… which rules out a lot lol
Day of the wedding the bartender closed the bar 20 minutes before time was up even while there were 10-15 of us sitting/standing at the bar then got frustrated when I reminded her the bar was supposed to be open until 11:00. We paid close to $400 for that 20 minutes of bar time and they closed it early.
They charged us full price for the kids including 10 kids that were less than 2 and 15 kids that were under 10. This included full price for food and alcohol and they would not budge on any negotiations with this no matter how hard we tried. Greg continued to give BS reasoning about how soda and juice at the bar cost money too…
Every experience with them to plan our wedding was pushy and rushed after signing the contract. I understand they are a business but you would think they would understand this is the most important day of our life we are planning and try a little harder.
In the planning, Greg at the South County location, was always VERY prompt with answering my questions. When my husband and I got to the venue on the day of, we were catered to and pampered and were COMPLETELY TAKEN CARE OF. My husband was super thirsty and the staff came over to bring us 2 pitchers (throughout the night) of soda and water to make sure we were taken care of. Absolutely budget friendly and I would go there again in a heartbeat. Great staff! Great support! Great food!
Had our wedding here on March 27, 2021 after a year of postponing it on the IL side. TJ was awesome to work with, he made the planning process extremely easy. Our maitred, Mo was SPOT ON the entire night. She settled a rowdy wedding party and kept the events on task and moving. The food was delicious, multiple comments made about how delicious everything tasted. Given the chance to do it all over, we would chose Andres again for our reception. We have been so unbelievably pleased!!!
Budget friendly venue. I had my 10/31/20 wedding and ceremony here. I would not recommend having your ceremony at Andre’s. They do not have any waiting space or room so our professional literally came from a bathroom and I ended up having to rent a limo bus to keep us from waiting in there longer. Food was delicious. Not always professional in communication and soMe things like that not communicated. Also, the woman I worked with leading up to my wedding was not present on the day of and that would have been helpful to know. For a platinum package it was around $5,000 for 100 people.
They were well organized and the price was a steal.
Our Wedding Reception went very smoothly and I am so glad we had it at Andre's! The food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic especially our amazing bar tender! For such a good price and flexibility with other vendors also, if I ever do any larger banquet activities again I will choose Andre's again and again!
We had our ceremony and reception at Andre’s newest location; Oak Valley Golf Resort in Pevely, MO and we are so glad we did! One of the best staff members - efficient, polite, knowledgeable and all around great people! John, the owner, takes care of his brides in every way he knows! His team of coordinators, especially Donna, really go above and beyond. Donna treated me as if I was her own daughter; making sure everything was perfect. The venue is absolutely breathtaking. The windows, the lights, the FOOD.. oh my!
I also had my bridal shower at one of their newly renovated locations; The Cellar in Sunset Hills. I am already trying to plan other events just so I can utilize this space.
Check 👏🏽 Them 👏🏽Out. You will not be disappointed!
The food was delicious and staff very friendly and helpful.
Be sure to get clarification on decor prices. I planned my wedding a certain scheme and at the last payment day, the lady tried to charge me an additional 600 dollars for what I wanted. She was very rude and had poor customer service. The food was not the same quality as it was at the tasting. I didn’t even eat it. Just be sure to get clarification on all that.
Very easy to work with! They catered our wedding and made the process very smooth. Great communication. Everyone loved the food and the staff at our wedding were professional and helpful!
We had our reception and rehearsal dinner at Telegraph location. At the food tasting I didn’t care for the food so I was a little nervous but I was completely wrong. The food was so good! The bartender and the staff were so sweet and considerate and made sure we always had a drink. We had a bad DJ experience but the professionalism and how everything went at the reception and really saved our day. We can’t think Andries enough for being so terrific!
I attended a tasting and vendor event with Andres and the food was fantastic! They did a great job keep guests entertained while they were waiting for the buffet line and were very professional.
If I could give this place no stars I would. It's super expensive and they say it's all about the customer. IT IS NOT. IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY. We had to change our wedding reception due to financial reasons and we couldn't get ANY of our money back. Not even the $100 we put down for the rehearsal dinner! If it was all about the customer, they would at least have offered something. It's not like they can't afford it! Steer clear of them. Customer service isn't great and everything, I mean everything you pay for. There are no discounts! If you're a bride on a budget, look somewhere else. Read reviews first. Wish I would have!
Very nice venue. Everyone was professional and the price was right. Food was really good!
INCONSIDERATE....
I see lot of mixed reviews about this facility (in Fenton, MO) and crew in this forum.
I just want to add what my experience has been and make you aware what kind of the people you're dealing with.
I had to cancel an event due to my father passing. They wouldn't let me re-schedule neither give me a refund of the deposit or part thereof. Manager had (during the initial visit) told us that in case of unforeseen circumstances he would be willing to work with and allow a reschedule. At that time he was the smooth talking salesman and we didn't think we would be needing such. But when unfortunate happened, he washed his hands (said it was not him but an appeals committee; baloney). We were grieving and in no mental state to even comprehend.
To me, above anything business or ethics is people. And if people can't be sympathetic even for unfortunate loss of family and hide behind legality and paperwork then its NOT worth doing any kind of interaction with; certainly not expected from a reputable organisation.
Its a shame!
Andre's was amazing to work with. We couldn't of asked for a better location for our wedding. They have a lot of different locations to choose from and we found our perfect spot.
John, Aimee, and Penny were all fantastic to work with, they were very helpful and the communication was great. We highly recommend Andre's for your big day.
Kimberly R and Kyle J
We absolutely loved the food tasting event! Such a blast and great people to work with! I would recommend them to anyone who is getting married!!
We had our wedding reception at Andres and it was great! The staff was helpful, the food was good, and the staff helped us every step of the way.
We really enjoyed the food tasting event that also allowed us to pick out our wedding cake vendor, DJ, and other vendors.
We used Andre's (and specifically Aimee) as a venue and caterer. Our reception was at Sunset Hills Golf Course (which Andre's is contracted through). Aimee was there the whole time we were on the night of our wedding. We didn't have any issues arise (at least none that we were aware of). The food was excellent. Andre's has some of the best wedding food we've ever had! Plus, the bar was staffed well and drinks were coming fast. There was never a long line. You can't beat the price and quality of the whole package at Andre's. I would definitely recommend checking out Andre's. They have multiple locations around St. Louis at different price points and atmospheres.
My fiance and I booked with Andre's the same day that we did a site visit. Our coordinator TJ was very informative, laid back and not pushy about us making decisions. We love that gratuity is included in the per person price! They offer a variety of discounts throughout the planning process, especially if you go to the tasting ;) They can help you find a vendor for everything. Great vendor!
Although the food was good, Andre's was an absolute nightmare to work with. When I met them at a bridal show, they told me that they do off-site catering which we needed. When we met with them to sign a contract, they told us about several fees that were never explained to me prior to our meeting, nor were they mentioned anywhere on their website. We signed the contract and thought everything was squared away until they called me a week before my wedding. They were "unaware" (even though it was written in our contract) that we were using our own dishes, so they needed to charge us an extra fee for that. They also tried to charge us an extra fee for having the bussers (that we already paid for) bus and scrape the plates. They told us that if we were to use their plasticware, the bussers would just take them to the trash so it is extra work, thus extra charge, for them to work with real china. Being a stressed out bride a week before my wedding, I cried on the phone and eventually ended up yelling at their manager. I had my, then fiance, contact them and work things out. Luckily we were already bound by our contract for the prices so they were not able to charge us those extra fees but if we were not careful, they would have scammed us into paying more money.
On the day of the wedding, the staff was rude to the owner of my reception venue. I did not know any of this was going on (thank goodness) but there was, once again, confusion about how things were being set up at the reception. When it came time to eat dessert, we had even more issues. My husband and I had only 2 layers of a cake for them to cut and then a few pies that needed to be cut an served. We paid Andre's a $50 cutting fee and they refused to cut our pie. It was obvious that the cake was not the only dessert since it was only 2 layers so I have no clue why they were so dramatic about cutting a few pies. The owner of my reception venue ended up cutting the pie for us. I would not recommend them to anyone. In fact, I would highly discourage you from working with them.
I loved this vendor! They were so helpful and really made the day special
We were so happy with everything
I would not recommend Andre's to anyone getting married in St Louis. We originally booked Andre's at Ambruster before finding out that Ambruster Hall is also a FUNERAL HOME. They did not inform us that the space was used for both weddings and funerals, we found out after my fiance's grandmother told us her nephew had his funeral there. When we tried to get out of the contract, they were unwilling to refund our money until another wedding booked our same date. I do not know if they are still booking weddings at Ambruster (hopefully not!) but either way please be careful when dealing with their management; they were unhelpful, unacommodating, and sneaky!
I was very happy with using Andres! They really have everything you need in one place. The staff we worked with were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I was not pleased with were the groomsman suits, I thought they looked nice but we had a number of people that received the wrong sizes and had to rush around to adjust.
We had our reception at their Sunset Hills location and it was BEAUTIFUL!! The staff was SO helpful from the moment we started looking into using them to the day of the wedding. They were very open to what I wanted and when I wanted suggestions they were happy to help. The food was also delicious and hands down one of the best decisions we made with our wedding!
I can’t reveal too much as I will get the wrong people in trouble.
I was at a wedding reception at the South County location last weekend (5/20/17), and I had the opportunity to glimpse at some “behind the scenes” behavior.
I found their actions to be wholly inappropriate and thoroughly unprofessional. I found Mo to be more of an imposing bully rather than an accommodating host.
I see that this place has received a lot of positive feedback. Great. I don’t wish a bad wedding reception experience for anyone. However, based on what I saw, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If there was a half star rating, I would click on it.
My fiancé and I booked with Andre's for our wedding reception and it was because of the great personality of TJ (our coordinator), the fact of Andre's being a one stop shop and the PRICES!!! is what won us over. We attended a tasting and every including the food was great!
It was such a pretty reception area. It isn't super pretty outside but inside is beautiful. The food was delicious! The open bar was awesome. The price was more than fair. We even got our tuxes and invites through them. Both were amazing. They really can be a one stop shop if you want them to be.
We just had our daughter's wedding reception at Andre's Banquet Center at Sunset Hills Golf Course. Everything was perfect. The setting was beautiful especially watching the sun going down from the large windows. Aimee, our coordinator, was fabulous. She was attentive to our every need and so easy to work with. Our guests loved the food. Their preferred vendors for flowers and wedding cake were great, too. We could be happier with our experience!
Building was nice, hall was simply decorated. Food was decent, but very small protein portions - not worth what we paid for sure. They did not honor our contract in regards to set-up time. We were promised a hour and a half before the reception to decorate. We were actually given 30 minutes. My family members had to help flip tables (change tablecloths, etc). I wouldn't recommend this company unless you need a cheap option - but you get what you pay for!
My Husband and I were just married at Andre's South location on September 24th. We had our ceremony there, and the reception. We could not be more pleased with the way everything turned out! There were a few bumps, but all in all, it was a fantastic day!
A few things that went astray... I was told when I first met with the Andre's staff, and booked our event, that the Rear Ballroom, the room we booked, would have it's own bathroom. We did not find out until the day of our wedding that we would in fact be sharing the bathroom with another Ballroom. This was a problem, because I had planned on putting my dress on at Andre's before the ceremony. When I arrived, our bathroom was full with the whole bridal party of the other wedding. I ended up using another bathroom, and guests from another event were coming in & out while I was getting dressed! I would recommend adding another bathroom. So each ballroom has it's own. Also, maybe a room where the Bride & her party can get ready. Also, when we had our walk through, a few days prior to our wedding, it was very vague. I should have asked more questions, I suppose, but everything seems pretty black & white until the day of... Then just walking down the aisle seems like the scariest thing you've ever done! The rehearsal was very quick, and we did not have a chance to practice our walk, or explain to our young Son, the ring bearer, what he was going to be doing. Now, we did not pay for a rehearsal dinner, but that is no excuse. We should receive the same service, just minus a dinner to go with it. Other than that, there were a few hurdles, mainly just, "he said, she said," stuff. Very easy mix ups, for the amount of people, and events they handle each day.
Now, to express our gratitude... Everything was perfect! Yes, we had some mix ups, but those are to be expected. All in all, we had the best day of our lives! When I first booked our event with Andre's, they were SO helpful. I've never even been to a wedding before! My own wedding was the first I'd attend! So, I had about 300 questions for them, and they answered every one of them. They helped me through each step, and made sure I understood everything. I also LOVED the, "one & done," options they offered. We booked our D.J. through them, booked our pastor, ordered our invitations, and ordered the tuxedos. They offer chair covers, table covers, runners, all the works! We did almost everything through them, besides buy my dress! Also, they offer $100 off if you book with 4 of their vendors. It was so simple, and worked great for me. When it came to the day of... It went perfectly! Everyone said the place looked beautiful, and it did! It was just what we wanted! The ceremony went off without a hitch, quick, but personal. Just what we wanted. The food was TO DIE FOR! We ordered a chocolate fountain, and they offer an open bar. It was all fantastic! Diana was our coordinator, and she walked us through the day, and kept the D.J. in the loop. They handled everything, just like having a wedding planner there.
Did I mention... All of this was UNDER our $5,000 budget?! Andre's offers it all, with a budget in mind. It's a perfect place for someone looking for elegance, but can't afford a high end event.
Also, Diana was amazing! Along with everyone at Andre's. Diana went on maternity leave shortly after I booked our event with her. After she left, I dealt with everyone there at one point, and they were all friendly, and answered any questions I had!
The whole Andres staff was amazing. Tj was our coordinator and he made sure everything was perfect. I would recommend using Andre's for your wedding!
Had an amazing time and my night was stress free. From begining to end our night was flawless
Overall, my experience with Andre's South wasn't BAD. I would not recommend having the ceremony there, as they are poorly equipped to handle this. I was told as close to my event as two weeks that they would block the bathroom off for me to get my dress on, when the rehearsal came I was told I was sharing the bathroom with the event in the adjoining room. In the end, they set up an alternative for me but getting to this agreement was not pleasant and the staff on hand that evening was argumentative, one of the guys (I'm assuming he was someone important there) kept the heated discussion going with my groom and his best man on the amount of brides that show up "dressed" versus the amount that show up not "dressed," things almost got ugly. The coordinator we had been working with was not present during the rehearsal and everything we told the woman (again, no one introduced themselves) helping us at the rehearsal was a surprise and she had never heard of such things as a receiving line after the ceremony. In my opinion, this location of Andre's should discourage ceremony and reception packages. Another major issue I had with them was set up time. All along we have been told the latest we'd be allowed in the room to set up was 1:30pm with my guests arriving at 3:30pm for a 4pm ceremony. Two weeks prior to my wedding we were told this has changed to 2:30pm, with an arrival time of still 3:30pm for guests. Three days before the wedding, at the rehearsal we were being told the event before ours in our room is over at 2:30 and we can NOT set up at 2:30 because they'd still be flipping the room over. So now I have LESS time to setup. My family and friends managed to pull it off somehow but we had less than an hour to get the room setup and get my dress on. This was a lot of unnecessary stress.
The actual ceremony and reception was good, the food was great, the staff working that night was great. My one complaint for the ceremony/reception was we had four reserved tables and Andre's wouldn't allow the guests who were to sit at them to actually sit at them. The Andre's staff did not know exactly who was to be at these tables, but the guests we wanted at them knew. Andre's never told us we had to make a seating chart for these tables, we would have. When they tried to sit at them, they were told by Andre's they can't sit at them so our important friends got pushed to the back of the room and the entire table remained empty, pretty embarrassing. I had to work on getting the right people at the right table during my own reception and that is embarrassing. We had an entire empty table closest to the head table because our friends who were told by us they were sitting at that table were told they couldn't be at that table by Andre's, so walking down the "aisle" there is a whole empty table in the pictures. Embarrassing.
So, my advice: Don't have a ceremony/reception package at Andre's South. The reception was good. The ceremony was good. To get to "good" we had a lot of unnecessary stress. We're blessed with great friends and family who were able to work around all the bumps and hurdles.
We chose Andres for our reception. They offered us everything we needed for our reception to make it memorable. It was a complete package deal and we were able to customize it to what we wanted and what we could afford. We hardly had to worry about anything. And for the price we paid, it was totally worth it. They even set up the centerpieces I made so I didn't have to worry about it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
We had a destination wedding and came back to have our reception. We had it Andres because of previous good experiences and price. There is not a better deal out there! The food was great, a variety of alcohol included, and we saved a ton of money by having it here. We were wanting something simple for our recreation back here but everything was so nice and you would have never known how little we spent! Loved it!
We were very pleased with Andre's. They came with our venue, Ambruster Great Hall. They took all the pressure off my husband and I during the planning process and wedding day. Our guests had a variety of dietary needs, and the food fit everyone's needs. The open bar was a hit with everyone! We loved working with Andre's!
We are so happy with the service we received for our reception at Andre's! The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing! I also had Andre's set up all of my decorations and they did a wonderful job!
You cannot beat Andre's for the price. Everyone enjoyed the food - and I can't recommend them enough on that aspect.
The service, though, was another story. It took them forever to bus the tables (only one of the three employees bussed the whole night) - the other two sat in the back room the whole time.
It literally took them 1+ hour to cut the cake. They also ate pieces of cake before bringing it out to the guests.
A whole bag of specialty popcorn also went missing ($50) from the back room and their staff were the only ones with access.
TJ was very accommodating though - it was a pleasure to work with him. I would recommend Andres if looking for an affordable catering service.
Great food and great service. The guys took very good care of us. We got a lot of compliments on the food and we enjoyed the food also. We loved our food choice and our guests do too.
Food was good, service was good. Price was reasonable
The food was great and the place looked amazing. I couldn't have been happier with the choice in location for our reception
We had my bridal shower at Andres and had a great time! The food was great and we had the sweetest bartender! I can't remember his name but he was an older gentleman and he was so attentive. He was always checking to see if I needed anything. He even gave us a bottle of champagne to take home! We had my shower on a Sunday afternoon and it was a great deal!
Andre's was excellent. They were so nice and had everything was perfect. Everything was great. The crew did an awesome job getting the room cleaned up quickly after the other party and had the room ready to go by 5 for my guests to start entering.
Andre's was a beautiful venue at a great location. The wait staff and booking staff were wonderful. They made everything proceed smoothly.
Juliette handled all issues that came up and was great to work with! Everyone complimented the food!
Sarah and her staff were excellent. The food was delicious and the price could not be beat by any other venue. Plus if you used 4 of their preferred vendors, you received a $100 discount off your bill. Great value!!!
I highly recommend Andre's. They did a wonderful job for our wedding! We were able to bring in our own style to their beautful room. Thank you!
Food was good. Didn't like that you have to have other wedding parties go through your room to get to theirs. Didn't like that I had to go through the kitchen with my wedding party before my ceremony.
Everyone at Andres was very helpful throughout our planning process. They were very organized and the prices were affordable. They made our wedding reception very relaxed and food was really good!! I would recommend them to any bride and groom!!
I would recommend Andre’s catering to anyone planning an event. The staff was attentive, flexible, and was there for whatever I needed. We received many compliments on the food too! :)
Andre's was very affordable, Sarah, our event coordinator, was extremely helpful. The food was delicious. Everything on the day of the reception went well. My only complaint is that they gave my phone number to all of their "preferred"vendors, some of whom called/emailed non stop.
Andres isn't the prettiest venue but if you're not able to spend a ton if money this place is great! Food was good. Staff was friendly. Easy to work with and always available for questions.
Had a few bumps in the planning process but once the big day came everything ran smooth!
We used Andres as our reception venue but our event took place at their Festus location-Best Western Shalimar Plaza. Sarah was absolutely wonderful to work with. She kept frequent contact with me throughout the 10 month planning process. She was present the night of the event, and checked in with me, my husband and both of our parents throughout the night to make sure that everything was going as planned.
From the moment we checked out Andre's I had no worries in my mind. The place was very nice and elegant. The cost was great for a Friday night reception and I had nothing but great comments on the food and staff there. Anything I needed they were able to help. I would definately recommend Andre's
We chose to have an afternoon reception at Andre's. Our reception was at the South location on Telegraph Road in St. Louis. In choosing the afternoon reception, we received a great value for a wonderful experience. We heard many wonderful comments about the food and drinks, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Mr. Andre went out of his way to meet all of our needs and we received every accommodation we had asked for. There was even a special plate of food prepared for my niece who has severe food allergies. We were extremely pleased with our experience and would recommend Andre's!
Had an amazing time with awesome food. We had so many people compliment our food. The owner was always making sure things were going right the night of the event. The only downside was we had asked to have two tables removed that were not removed and had to set up centerpieces on our own... Other than that GREAT place!!
We were married April 2013, our wedding reception was at Andre's. To this day, our guests are still talking about the excellent food and service.
We appreciated the variety of packages and menu options. We attended their food tasting event, which was great. They also invited their preferred vendors to attend. We used some of their vendors that they recommended and we were very satisfied.
Thank you Andre's for making our wedding reception memorable!
We went with Andre's at the Festus, MO location which is in the Best Western Hotel. I cannot tell you how many compliments we have received on the venue and food. The venue was in the beautiful atrium of the hotel which provides a nice fountain for elegance and the hotel is in great condition to host a reception. We had 300+ people at the reception and the food was outstanding. We also loved how Andre's had a packaged deal, where you pay per person and you get the venue, food, cake, DJ, and open bar for a pretty reasonable price. I am extremely satisfied with Andre's and there outstanding customer service. I would recommend this venue to anyone.
Loved everything!!! The price was great, the decor is awesome, and the service was great.
I got married at Andre's South County and I was so happy I chose them. Everyone is still commenting on how fabulouis the food was and the venue looked absolutely breathtaking. The hardwood floors and chandaliers with up lighting were everything I wanted at an affordable price. Also, they were so professional! They had everything so organized that it all went so smoothly from start to finish. The only complaint was it wasn't long enough..I'm so happy my reception was beautiful and the only thing I heard was that the bathroom stalls were a little too small. If that is the worse thing I can take it!
Food was delicious, better then expected. But price is a little outrageous. Caterer was nice.
Great service, beautiful venue, and AMAZING FOOD!
They were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to everyone!
The food at the reception (which was at a different location than Andres) was just as amazing as it was at the tasting held at Andres. The staff and bartenders were absolutely amazing and we couldn't have asked for anyone better! The bartenders even delivered drinks to our head table! I really wish I would have gotten their names! The staff even boxed up food to go for my now husband and I to eat at the hotel later that night! Sarah and Greg were really nice and always more than willing to answer any question or concern I may have had, and were very patient with me. We got many compliments on the food, and it was even great the next day! We stuck some leftovers in the deep freeze and I imagine it will be just as good.
The staff was awesome at Andres we ran into a situation and they worked with me to make my day special and was So helpful. The Food is awesome and they offer a one stop shop making everything convenient.
Andres catering was VERY reasonable. We only paid $7.00 per person for catering and the food was phenomenal!! Keep in mind this was just the catering, not the reception hall. We figured it was much more affordable to cater in the food than it was to actually have the reception at the banquet hall. We got compliments all night on how great the food was. Andres is awesome!!
My experience with Andre's was an incredible experience. Their event coordinators work with you every step of the way, from your initial visit, throughout the planning process, and up until the weeks before the wedding, helping to ensure that everything is what you want/need and that they supply the product that is desired. I can not say enough wonderful things about the wait staff. Our wedding was a little different, we didn't have one large evening meal. Instead, we used Andre's for an afternoon luncheon and again for our evening reception of cocktails and appetizers. Their staff was incredible, and my family and friends raved about how polite and friendly they were all day. Initially my fiance and I were going to use another vendor for our evening ceremony, because they came highly recommended by our venue. However, after working for 3 months with little communication and then given options that were thousands of dollars out of our price range we went with Andre's. The two main reasons for our switch was communication. Tracy was constantly communicating with me during my planning process, and was never pushy, always just asking if there was anything she could help me with. The second was that their pricing is very reasonable. They are a company that I feels wants to provide great service at a reasonable price to people getting married. In today's industry, this is difficult to find, yet Andre's provides it. I hope that future brides in the St. Louis area know what a great option Andre's is for off-site (my wedding) and on-site (from my visits there when planning) wedding receptions of any kind. They were great to work with in planning a reception that was off-site, different, and non-traditional, and I greatly appreciated their flexibility and willingness to work with me and communicate.
Andre's was so great! The food was amazing and the servers were amazing! They set up super quick and packed up quick which was nice because it didn't distract from the reception!
The service at Andre's was exceptional I couldn't of asked for better customer service. The food there was awesome to, I had many of my guests tell me it was the best wedding reception food they had ever had.
Our reception was at Andre's South on Telegraph and let me say that it far exceeded my expectations!! The venue is beautiful but I have been to other weddings and know that looks can be deceiving but not this time. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful and made sure our wedding reception went flawlessly! And the food! The food was delicious. I'm a hard sell when it comes to catered meals but I would have had seconds if I had the time. We are still getting compliments, months later! Highly recommend Greg & his staff!!
The food was fabulous as well as the service. The servers boxed up all the leftovers for us. It was delicous.
Eveything was great with andres until the night of the reception. Prior to our reception we had set a schedule for the evening for dinner, cake cutting, toast, ect. Dinner was to be served approx 7:45, well we ended up eating withing 5 minutes of us arriving. Everything was rushed and pushed into the first hour of the reception. Found out why after speaking to some of our guest, the matre d had worked all day and actually told one of our tables that she was tired and wanted to leave asap. The bus boys started clearing tables when people were still eating their cake. The favors that were set out for guest were cleared off the tables prior to 11 (which is the time we paid for the reception to end). So now I am stuck with 150 votive candles that were meant to go to my guest. I spent alot of time of these candles so I was extremely disappointed that they were cleared off the tables before people left. Then I found out that people in the ballroom next to us were coming into our wedding and drinking from our open bar. The food was great though and they set up our tables exactly how I wanted them. Overall the value was good but the service at the reception not so much.
Andre's is amazing! Sarah was our coordinator and she made sure everything ran smoothly. Plus Andres does this free dinner for the bride and groom once a month or so where u can try out the food and all the other vendors are set up as well so u can talk to them about flowers, tuxes, hair, whatever. It was great! Top notch catering company! I had so many compliments on the food at our wedding...
This venue was everything I wanted and more. I love how intimate the space felt ( the stage room ). It was clean and they had everything layed out exactly like I wanted. It was beautiful and so much fun. Very easy to work with.
I got married at the Andres-Festus location and couldn't be happier with the venue. I couldn't afford a wedding planner but Andre's was somewhat of a mini wedding planner as you get a great packaged deal that includes the venue, dj, and cake. Sarah, my coordinator, was extremely helpful and always was there to answer my questions whether they be big or small. I would highly recommend Andre's to any couple for their wedding. They also have suggestions for vendors in terms of invites, bridal gowns, tuxes, etc. Great food too!
The staff is amazing, the food is wonderful. Andre's made my wedding BEAUTIFUL!
Def a great place for wedding or any events
When we sat down at Andre's the first time for the trial test I knew that this was where I wanted to have my reception. The food was to die for. There were many menu items to choose from and everything was prepared fresh! The chef even sat down with us to recommend potatoes, just the way he likes to cook them. I really couldn't have asked for anything more. It was memorable!
Some staff were very friendly and helpful, while others were not. We gave them instructions on how we wanted our centerpieces presented and it was not followed, but the pieces still were presented nicely. The prices were great and the food was wonderful.
Andre's did an amazing job with everything. We had Greg as our contact and he went above and beyond what we needed. The food was absolutely perfect and all of our guests loved everything. I would recommend Andre's to everyone.
We had such a wonderful time at Andre's. The dance floor was great and we had more than enough room for our almost 300 guests to party the night away. The bartenders were quick and the food line went very fast for such a large crowd of people. Speaking of the food, it was DELICIOUS! We had taste tested it before, but it was 10x yummier the night of. We got tons of compliments for the food and the overall atmosphere of the reception. I only have two negatives. The tables were very close together and it was hard for me, a petite bride, to get around in my poofy wedding dress. Also, the bathroom stalls are TINY and it was difficult to use the restroom. Overall, it was awesome.
Our wedding reception at Andre's South was great. We had so much fun and the everything turned out really nice. Andre's is a great venue with an affordable price.
