from our very first meeting. Angel was the first venue we toured, we went to two others after, but neither could compare to Angels beauty or Lindas charisma. She was there every step of the way to answer any questions I had or offer up suggestions when I was stumped. With her as my day of coordinator, I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. With her help, my wedding was perfect!

Linda is one of the most caring people I have ever had the opportunity to meet. She went from stranger to emotionally invested in our wedding in just few months. She made sure everything was flowing properly and was a godsend relieving our stress of the day. Trust her list of vendors, she knows what works and her reccomendations made our day beautiful and something we will remember forever.
If we could go back and replan our wedding all over again knowing what we know now the very first thing we would rebook is Angel Mountain Events without second thought.
Thank you Linda and Angel Mountain Events for making our wedding an amazing experience!

Everything you need for your day is available if you want to keep it simple and just pay a fee. I definitely recommend paying for valet service-your guest will appreciate it! Don’t hesitate to reach out to ask any questions because she wants your day to be a success more than you. This venue wasn’t my first choice but it was the perfect choice as my venue fell through. that sold me about this venue was Linda she is amazing to work with so helpful and responsive I really don’t know how we could have made the progress any more smoother without her. She is like another mom helping you along the way. She also has open houses from time to time to meet the vendors she works with and I would definitely recommend Juan Carlos for catering he was also amazing to work with and had delicious food.

Our wedding was November 2020. As we started our search for a venue, it felt like having a wedding was out of our reach until we found Angel Mountain Events. The venue wasn’t just ...
beautiful and affordable....Linda, the owner, is an absolute pleasure to work with. Her knowledge of the industry is apparent and her day-of coordinating was everything we needed. She was easily accessible by phone or text and she worked with all of our vendors, some recommended by her and some we choose on our own. If we had to do it all over again, we would book here a thousand times over. Thanks for everything Linda, you made our day perfect!
Linda from Angle Mountain was beyond fantastic! She took care of us from start to finish. Linda helped me plan every detail and stayed in contact with me every step of the way. We ...
were concerned about the amount of people coming during COVID but Linda helped me figure it out with seating. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. My cake even started to fall apart and Linda took flower and fixed it for me. She helped guide me through every part of the wedding, she was basically my wedding coordinator. 10/10 recommend this venue. The venue it’s self was in perfect order and very classy. I love the chapel feel of the ceremony area, so classy. The reception area is very comfortable. The outdoors is beautiful. They take such good care of the place! Linda, thank you for everything! You exceeded my expectations!
Angel Mountain is a gorgeous place to have a wedding. Linda the owner is amazing. I really enjoyed planning my wedding with her.
As the officiant & mother of the groom of the Tyler/Floyd wedding on 10.16.2020, I would give this venue a five plus star rating. The venue was spacious, clean, security was on the...
scene & the Covid-19 mandate was asked for by all attending. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, many things were provided for the couple that are usually unheard of. The chapel lighting was perfect for the passage readings. I thought this might be an issue but the lighting was actually perfect. As well, there was plenty of space in the chapel for all in attendance, including a larger Bridal party. I would recommend this venue for any gathering & I'll be recommending this venue to all other couple looking for the perfect venue for their weddings in the future. The owner of the venue, Linda, was exceptional to work with & accommodating in all ways she was asked.
Sincerely,
Shari Stailey-Floyd
Beautiful, romantic, and such friendly owners! For anyone who is considering this venue it would be breathtaking to have a sunset wedding. You are able to see the stars on the back...
deck and it was gorgeous drinking cocktails under the night sky.... Loved the fact that there were our choice provided linens in colors of your choice, air conditioned inside with both grooms and brides suites with restrooms and your choice of a romantic sunset arch on the back deck all in one venue. The owner was invaluable helping us coordinate the day of my best friend's wedding! Thank you for helping us make her special day a HIT!

felt rushed or left hanging. They both made our day go so smoothly. The way they decorated the venue was exactly how I wanted it. It was perfect. I walked in day of and everything was clean, set up and ready to go. All I had to do was finish getting myself ready. Linda kept everything on schedule and I wasn't stressing about anything. They are both so kind and ready to help you as much as they can. We couldn't have picked a better place to say I Do. Thank you so much for helping make our day so special!!!
Hi all!
My husband and I got married in January, it was so beautiful. The area is gorgeous and the layout is as well. Linda is absolutely wonderful and helpful. I would recommend...
to go with the vendors she suggests, as we regret using different photographers. The lighting in the ceremony room is dim, so make sure your photographer can capture it well. Also, do not use HEB Bastrop for the cake. They called me at 11 AM on the day of my wedding to tell me they did not have the one I asked for. Use another one she suggests, she has multiple!! :) Make sure to also plan out where you want photos, we missed some opportunities we wish we could have gotten on the beautiful layout!!
We are also the builders of the lovely cross she now has for anyone to use in their wedding. It's beautiful. :)
Everything about our experience at Angel Mountain was top notch! My daughter said her wedding day was perfect, and I'd have to agree! Linda Peña was a dream come true for this moth...
er-of-the-bride as she brilliantly helped me put together a beautiful wedding for my daughter in just SIX WEEKS TIME! Her suggestions and guidance were always spot on and her desire was for us to have the perfect day was obvious. The venue was lovely, and all of our guests commented so! We sat 100 people, and everyone was happy and comfortable. I'd highly recommend Angel Mountain Events in beautiful Bastrop, Texas!
Angel Mountain is truly a gem of Bastrop County. When we attended their open house earlier this year. The chapel area literally took my breath away. It is so beautiful and romanti...
c. The perfect "Special Place" for a wedding ceremony. There is also a large beautiful deck that could accommodate a ceremony under their pergola. The beautiful outdoor view at "Angel Mountain" was our choice for cocktail hour. The reception area was very roomy for 100 guests and still provided a great dance floor. The flow of the facility was so nice and never felt awkward or cramped. The owners of Angel Mountain survived and rebuilt the entire venue after the Bastrop wildfires. After time and hard work they have carved out a beautiful and complete venue. I can't think of one single thing lacking. The real gem of the venue is owner manager Linda Pena. She is warm and kind and totally dedicates her time to the bride and groom. She was so far above our expectations. She set up all our tables the night before, every detail was checked and crosschecked. She spent time reviewing and making suggestions for decor and vendors. She was really a second event planner for us and I'm sure she does this whenever she can. This was our second wedding in Bastrop County. I really believe we found the PERFECT venue at Angel Mountain. Thank you Linda for rebuilding "the best". Jill Gajkowski mother of Megan Gajkowski Lowery

Great venue! We were able to work with the owner to create our special day
We fell in love with this venue at first sight and were not disappointed. The space is beautiful, but what really set it apart from the rest was Linda and her husband Matt. From th...
e moment we met at our tour, they were so kind and attentive. They felt like we had known them for years and we knew we would have a relaxing day if we went with them. Thank heavens we did, because the day of was absolutely beautiful. Linda had the reception hall completely prepared for us when we got there, and spent the entire night making sure we had exactly what we needed when we needed them. Matt was so sweet helping everyone set up and break down, and even raced after us to make sure we didn't leave a piece of furniture behind. If you're looking for an amazing wedding venue that can give you options, you HAVE to check these guys out.
And make sure to look over Linda's vendor suggestions; thanks to her we had food and drinks we will dream about for years to come.
My husband and I got married at this venue March 2017 and it was the perfect venue! The venue is new and very beautiful, I received a lot of compliments from guests about the venue...
. There are rooms for the bride and groom with great decor for pictures and to get ready before the wedding. We chose to have wedding inside and it was amazing! The chapel is already decorated with candles and a beautiful chandelier, it was beautiful for ceremony and it was one less thingto worry about! The ouside patio was great because our guests got to go outside in the evening to get some fresh air. The owner Linda was very helpful and responded to questions that I had quickly, she definitely made wedding planning go a lot smoother. She is the sweetest and even helped on the wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. I definitely recommend this venue!

Thank you Linda, for everything! Our day was so special and I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue!
Finding the right wedding venue is one of the most stressful parts of planning the big day. Luckily Angel Mountain exists and we found them!

t is immaculate and beautiful. From the bridal suite to the mirrors in the, oh so, heavenly restrooms, their attention to detail blew us away. Linda and Matt made us feel comfortable and made the whole experience a piece of cake. Our wedding at Angel Mountain was pretty much perfect thanks to their expertise and kindness. It was an exceptional experience. We couldn't have asked for more perfect people to handle one of the most important days of our lives!

The lady you rent the venue from (Linda) is one of those people who likes to take over running your wedding, even if you already have it all planned out. When you say something,she...
stops doing HER job. Not just stops doing the take over. Just doesn't do ANYTHING anymore. She was supposed to set up the tables, but wouldn't do it because I told her that she wasn't running the wedding. She just rented the venue! She didn't like that a bit. THEN later she comes up with this bull story about her father being in the hospital being the reason she was bossing the wedding.
We held our wedding at this location. Everyone kept talking about how great the location was and how pretty it looked. You can do as much or as little decorating as you want with...
this place and it all looks great. The owners love to help set up and organize the wedding. You also have the freedom to use any vendor you wish. I would recomend this place to anyone looking for a wedding location.

o mention my really low budget! I wasn't sure about Angel Mountain because it's a bit of a drive, but the second we arrived for our visit I knew it was The Place! Linda basically provides wedding coordinator type services with advice and help-I couldn't imagine doing it all without her-she has great ideas and is a YES-woman willing to do whatever it takes to make you happy. The ceremony was perfect, setting sun, trees, nature, perfect setting, and the reception was flawless with the A.M. folks setting all the tables up sort of behind the scenes without interrupting the flow or anything. The indoor space was the perfect size for the buffet and cakes and no one had complaints about parking, restrooms, NOTHING! All the guests raved about it. Even my husband was impressed with it all, and he doesn't care about that stuff! I give Angel Mountain an A+ ---and that was in their first or second season with the new owners! I really honestly don't have any complaints that I can think of. Can't wait to see what the future has in store for Angel Mountain, Linda and her wonderful family. I highly recommend this venue for Austin brides-or anyone!
When I first called Angel Mountain they were in the process of renovating the property, so I wasn't sure how the final product would look. I was amazed at how nice and elegant the ...
