In addition to the obviously gorgeous pictures Angela takes, Angela had a calming and professional air that helped my fiance and two nervous mothers be at ease and happy with their pictures at the end of such a big day (not an easy feat!). She directed us when needed, but also captured the un-posed sweet moments that happened in between. She stayed to a timeline while still capturing the shots we wanted without rushing, and did excellent work getting pictures of our 175 guests during our reception. I've had two people comment that these were the best wedding photos of the whole day they'd ever seen and a few friends who weren't able to make it say that Angela's work truly captured the emotion of the whole day and helped them feel like they were right there. We can't wait to be similarly transported in years to come looking back on the photos of such a special day.

When I was first looking for wedding photographers, I was drawn to her work because of the artistic quality of her profile, but also because she captured so many unique moments--a couple holding hands under the table, the quiet moments that go by so quickly on the day of. I truly felt like I was THERE when I saw her work. I live in New York, but was married in the Chicago area, so I hired Angela after a phone conversation--that was where she really sealed the deal! She is just a lovely person--easy to talk to, fun, and just someone you would want to spend your entire wedding day with. My maid-of-honor still talks about how fun she was to be with! Angela was professional, warm, and never distracted from the moment. I didn't even see her during the ceremony (but clearly she was there and took fabulous pics)! She brought out an ease in my groom and I, and it shows in every image. She also had a knack for knowing who to photograph--certain people that I never pointed out but were very special got a lot of coverage in the pics! I think that just speaks to her observation skills--she can pull out people and details that capture the feeling of the entire day. I had had multiple friends that live in New York and Chicago ask me for Angela's name--they are so impressed. You will not regret hiring her.
