Angelica Strings was the perfect touch we needed for our wedding day. Cheryl, Sally and their team were so easy to work with and not to mention cost affordable. The whole process was so easy and lovely; we couldn't have asked for a better trio of musicians.

Angelica strings was great to work with and sounded great during our ceremony and cocktail hour. We had a string trio and it was great for our outdoor setting. They are great musicians and very reasonably priced. They offered a great package deal for the ceremony and cocktail music. They played traditional wedding songs for the ceremony and more contemporary songs for the cocktails.

I had heard Angelica Strings perform at a friend's wedding and knew at that moment that these were the musicians I wanted to perform at my own wedding! On my special day, the musicians were all professional and punctual. The quartet sounded amazing, starting with beautiful prelude music, then transitioning (with perfect timing) into the start of the ceremony. From classical to pop (including coldplay, the beatles, and more), Angelica Strings provided beautiful music for our ceremony and reception. What a talented group of musicians!!

It was so easy working with Angelica strings! I was able to pick the instruments and songs from their website and just email the week before the wedding which songs I wanted. They did a great job! Thank you! -Alana

When I first found Angelica Strings on this website I knew I wanted to hire them but didn't think I could afford it. Cheryl, the owner, and I had a great conversation, and she was able to find creative ways to work within my budget so that I was able to afford to have a string duet playing during my ceremony. Cheryl was a complete professional from day 1 and I never felt like I had to worry about anything, which was great :) At the ceremony itself, the musicians were even better than I could have imagined and Cheryl's help with song choices and styles for the duet turned out absolutely perfect. I was so, so glad I went ahead and called her and so happy with the gorgeous music at the ceremony. Thank you Angelica Strings!!

I was referred to Angelica Strings by my wedding planner -- Cheryl was responsive and easy to work with from the beginning. We worked together on many of my more obscure music requests, and on the day of the wedding, Angelica Strings surprised me with finding the music and learning a song that they had previously said wasn't in their repertoire. I was thrilled to hear the music at the recessional (on top of being married). The guests all raved at how good the strings sounded and at the range of music they were able to play (from Journey to Disney to Sound of Music to Classical). Given that many of our pieces were opera arias transformed for strings, Angelica made the pieces sound absolutely breathtaking -- hearing the processional song outside the doors for my father and me to walk in made me pause and take it all in. Thank you so very much for making such a special part of my day even better and going above and beyond!

Angelica Strings played for my daughter's wedding in Laguna Beach, CA. They were fabulous and we had so many compliments on the group! Cheryl was the point of contact and she was extremely helpful and prompt in replying to all of my emails. I was able to give her a list of all the prelude music I wanted played and Cheryl found the arrangements and the pieces were beautifully performed. I am a music major and so I am speaking from a trained musician's ear and I can't say enough great things about Angelica Strings. Plus their rate was very reasonable.

Angelicastrings trio was the perfect embellishment to my daughter and Son-in-Law's wedding aboard the Queen Mary. They were the perfect official start of the event with the prelude music. The selections were beautiful and we were instantly transformed to to the ceremony. They played during the cocktail hour as well. Many thanks to their talented musicians. Angelica Strings was awesome to work with! Cheryl was my contact person, and she was so sweet and always quick to respond to my questions. Their music planner made it easy for us to choose which songs we wanted for the pre-ceremony, during and post and all the guests raved about the beautiful music! They really made our ceremony at the Ritz Carlton extra special :)

Angelica strings was fabulous, they added the extra touch we needed to contribute elegance to our wedding. They were so easy to work with, we simply filled out a short 1 page form with the music styles and selections and they took care of the rest.

Cheryl was so easy to work with. She made sure our music selections were appropriate and they had a great variety of songs to choose from. I'm only sorry I couldn't hear them at cocktail hour since I was taking pictures elsewhere. I'm told it was fabulous!

Since I was the bride, I was only able to hear them as I walked down the aisle, but I was impressed. My groom started to tear up a little when they started playing Jeff Buckley's "Halleluyah" as I walked down the aisle. I had heard a string version of it on YouTube and asked if they could do that. Of course they could! And then at the end, we had "All You Need is Love." I know it's cliche- but ever since "Love Actually" I wanted to hear that on my wedding day. It was truly memorable, and a classy touch to have Angelica Strings at the ceremony, rather than a DJ doing the music. Thanks!!

Having worked for a Symphony, and having a guest list that included many classically-trained musicians, good music placed very high on the must-have list for my wedding. Angelica Strings came recommended by a musician friend of mine, and I am so grateful to have gotten it! Angelica Strings was fantastic! Cheryl was a consummate professional. She was always available to help me out, and was always patient and took the time to listen to what I had to say. She discussed music choices at length with me, gave wonderful recommendations, and took the time to truly understand my end goal. What I loved best about this vendor was that I didn't need to babysit them! They came prepared, dressed to perfection, set up quickly, and played immaculately. They played so well that my guests stood up and applauded them during dinner. They were a hit! Everyone enjoyed them immensely. Much better than a piped CD, they knew exactly when to get louder or grow softer in the noise level... they could sense what piece would fit the mood... They are pros and delivered with flair. I would recommend them to anyone. I found their price to be very reasonable, got top customer service, and a brilliant performance. You're not getting a high school band here, you're getting professionals who graduated from some of the best conservatories and play in some of the best symphony orchestras. Angelic Strings/Cheryl Ann Gates classical musicians: Elegance, class, style and simplicity best describes the very talented, professional, Angelica Strings Musicians. The musicical selections for our wedding were very approrpiately refreshing, for our guest arrival, wedding processional and cocktail reception. The classical music made our event absolutely "magical!" Our guests and bridal party were extremely complimentary and pleased with their performance, presentation and elegant professional appearance with which they conducted themselves. Guests still talking about the musicians and the beautiful selctions played. The Ladies/ musicians professionally, lovely and elegant attire contributed to the success of our event. Musicians arrvived well in time before event for set up and departure; knowledegable of venue, location, lay out etc. early on in planning process. Co-ordinated very well with all other "Wedding Team;" D.J, Wedding Co-ordinator etc. It is noteworthy to add that our guests appreciated the ladies being very gracious and personable with them as well. Four Star Rating is Modest! Well worth your money whatver the expense! "You get what you pay for" (and I had interviewed other classical musicians) and Angelic Strings Musicians are the best! My wife picked Angelica Strings. It was probably the best decision she made. The quality, professionalism and helpfulness was incredible. It far surpassed that of a MUCH more expensive service. From day 1, they helped us pick our score and made suggestions based on experience. It was important to my wife to have some contemporary music, and Angelica was able to transpose the selected songs to strings. But this is only the beginning. I opted to surprise my wife by adding a pianist to our string trio to complement her favorite song while walking down the aisle. Cheryl was a life saver. She organized, vetted and managed the entire process for me so as to keep the surprise from my wife, who is usually quite adept at figuring out my surprises. Once I planted the idea with Cheryl, she ran with it, and the end result was truly exceptional. To this day, all of my wife's friends compliment me on my surprise, but it would all have been for naught had Cheryl not been there to orchestrate the whole thing. You would be a fool to use anyone else, this is my personal guarantee.

I loved working with Angelica Strings. Cheryl, who runs things was great to work with. Returned e-mails and phone calls and was great. The musician sent was fantastic. She played beautifully and was a real asset to my very small wedding! Thank you Angelica Strings for being part of my wedding!

Working with Angelica Strings was very straightforward. Their website is easy to navigate and has a lot of helpful music suggestions, as well as a good number of samples you can listen to. Although I was rushed to the last minute with making my choices, they did not have any problems and even called me personally to discuss my selections and make suggestions, and to go over the final details of the ceremony so that they would know how to match up with the other things we had planned. They arrived on time, were dressed appropriately, and the music was beautiful! (from what I remember, although I may have been somewhat distracted at the time) We used a computer for music at the reception instead of a DJ, but it was really special to have live music for the ceremony. The price seemed a bit high to me, but I guess they are reasonable compared to others.

They played for our ceremony and, although I couldn't hear most of it (being the bride), my guests said they were wonderful! They were a bit expensive I thought, but well worth it! They played the music exactly as I requested it and were truly professionals!
