The founder, Angelina Carrasquillo, has had a lifelong interest in photography and started pursuing her passion professionally in 2020. Angelina is a Chicago native but has traveled all across the United States and has lived in Iowa, Arizona, Nebraska, Texas, & now Mississippi. Aside from photography, Angelina is also an animal lover and previously led the exotic animal care program during her undergraduate years. Angelina herself owns two dogs and a cat that she frequently posts on social media. Some of her hobbies include: hiking, trying new food places, watching movies and nature documentaries, and exploring different state parks.
Angelina is inspired by documentary-style photography. She believes the most essential photographs on your wedding day are the candid and romantic moments that unfold naturally. She will work with you to personalize a package and enjoys delivering a fully customizable photography experience from the first meeting to ‘I do.’ Angelina Carrasquillo Captured will not only capture your wedding memories and provide photographs that will last a lifetime, but she will also make sure that you come away from the experience with a new adventurous friend.

Hey you! My name is Angelina & I have been doing photography for about 4 years now. I first started with landscapes & transitioned to equine & pets. My introduction to shooting weddings happened when my cousin's photographer cancelled on her the night before her own wedding! Isn't that crazy?!
Needless to say, I fell in love with capturing moments full of love and other emotions within. I love to keep things simple but fun. I bring a lot of energy to my shoots & my mission is to leave my couples feeling like they've gained a friend who posts her dogs a lot.
