I had always heard of getting a dress from Anne Gregory as being a magical experience from many brides that I know who purchased their dresses there. We were greeted kindly when we first arrived and taken to an area to discuss dress options with my consultant. She took time to look at some photos that I had and listen to my wants list. The dresses that were pulled were good for the most part and one I even loved and considered purchasing. Greg was around for the appointment and was a great confidence booster! The downfall came with me not being a sample size. There wasn't one dress that I tried on that could even almost zip and one I was told to just drape over myself while in the dressing room to see what it would look like. I'm a 14/16, fairly average bride and was not aware that there would be no dresses in my size range try, especially with many designers now offering plus size lines or versions of their dresses. When asked if I wanted to try on more dresses, the consultant left to go search for more and then came back and told me "I'm sorry, we have nothing else for you here." I'm glad so many other brides have had such great experiences and clearly the salon is doing something right given the numerous awards, but it just wasn't a great experience for me.

My experience at Anne Gregory was a dream! I tried on a few dresses, which were all beautiful but not exactly THE ONE. Then the owner came and introduced himself, and I showed him a photo of what I was looking for. He took me right up to the sale room on the second floor, and there it was! A very affordable version of what I was looking for - and still from a great designer! It was a sample piece, and I bought it as-is off the rack, so for a decent fee their in-house seamstress fixed all the little tears from when other people had tried it on. I ended up with the dress of my dreams and way within my budget. Thank you so much!!

I can't say enough amazing things about Anne Gregory. Everything about my experience was absolutely perfect. I was living in Florida at the time and I’m from the Pittsburgh area and I was getting married in Pittsburgh. I wanted to go dress shopping with my mom, my future mother in law, and my aunts when I was coming home one weekend. I was searching for the perfect wedding gown and Anne Gregory was the first and only bridal salon that I visited. I had let them know what I was looking for before my appointment and when I got there, they had a selection of dresses ready for me. I had tried on 5 dresses and really liked the 1st dress that I had tried on the best. Greg, then said he had the perfect dress in mind. He went back and pulled it for me and I put it on and the rest was history. I got that “this is it” feeling and when I walked out there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. I had fallen in love with the most gorgeous dress. Then Michele grabbed a veil that complimented the dress perfectly. I looked incredible on my wedding day and felt like a princess - and it was all thanks to the wonderful Anne Gregory staff! Every staff member was so helpful, attentive, and such a joy to be around – and all provided excellent customer service. My mom and I really enjoyed every trip to the salon. We cannot say enough great things about Greg and his staff. At Anne Gregory, you’ll receive top notch experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding dress or formal gown. I’m excited and looking forward to seeing them in their new location!

Anne Gregory is amazing! I went to another Bridal Salon before hand and didn't love anything there. I felt like they weren't understanding what I was looking for. However, I went to Anne Gregory and I ended up buying the second dress I tried on. Their staff is wonderful and made the process so fun. I also can't say enough great things about their seamstress. I have scoliosis and the dress was laying crooked on my body. She worked her magic and had the dress fitting me like a glove and made everything fit perfectly- you would never know the work she had to do to it (dropping one shoulder more than the other, only taking the dress in from one side, etc.) I HIGHLY recommend doing your dress shopping here and getting your dress fitted here as well! Amazing team at Anne Gregory! I went to multiple bridal salons and was beginning to get discouraged I couldn’t find a dress I felt amazing in. Greg and his team showed me so many show stoppers and I couldn’t be more pleased. They were such a great team to work with and didn’t pressure me in any direction. I highly recommend this bridal salon!

They helped nail the image I was going for and pick the perfect dress for my wedding. Every visit - even the fitting - went smoothly and was effortless. Still in love with my wedding dress today.

Anne Gregory made my bridal experience amazing. From the first appointment I was impressed with their quality and professionalism. They have not only beautiful dresses but an amazing staff. They worked with my indecisive nature and let me come in three separate times to try the dress on before I made my decision. My dress was elegant and everything I imagined. Their seamstress on sight did a phenomenal job and when it was time for me to take the dress home they even helped me bring it to my car. I cannot recommend this place enough to any bride in Western, PA!

This post is way overdue as I came here back in November 2018 in search of my wedding dress. My aunt found this place while searching for dress boutiques in Pittsburgh and because my grandmothers name is Anne Gregory we thought it was a sign and we had to go!! Let me just say I would never have expected a random google search would turn into an amazing experience and even better me finding my perfect dress!! The whole experience was amazing, not only was the woman I was paired with (Mrs zammerilla - can’t remember her first name but her daughters are fellow Pittsburgh panther alums which was great!!) extremely helpful and knowledgeable and then Gregory himself helped to pick out the dresses for me to try on. I told them what I was looking for and the first dress I tried on checked every box and more for what I was looking for! I instantly fell in love with the dress and Gregory and his team did an amazing job finding me my perfect dress that I will cherish forever!! The whole overall experience was amazing. They made me feel so comfortable and actually listened to what I wanted and worked their magic!! I am happy that I said yes to the dress here! And I am soo looking forward to my first fitting coming this april! I hope it’ll go just as smoothly as my first experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Anne Gregory for the Bride. My dress and veil were absolutely gorgeous, and everyone I encountered there was very professional and wonderful.

I originally wanted to go dress shopping at Anne Gregory because I saw online that they carried Rosa Clara dresses, which I loved. When I got there with my entourage (parents, sisters, and aunt), I was absolutely blown away by the experience. Unlike other bridal salons in the area where you look through racks to find some dresses that you think you might like and then try them on with the help of a 'consultant,' Anne Gregory is staffed with true consultants who listen to what you want (or what you THINK you want) and then go into their back room and pull dresses for you to try on. I tried on a few dresses, and each was more beautiful than the last! Partway through my appointment, the owner Greg came in and looked at me and was like, "I have the dress for you!" He walked out and returned with the Anne Barge Berkeley gown. I put it on and immediately had an emotional response to it and knew it was 'the one.' Apparently he just did the same exact thing for my future sister-in-law. That man has a gift for identifying the perfect dress for a bride!! I also want to say that I was extremely impressed with their seamstress. I unfortunately cannot remember her name, but she was incredible. Very calm, cool, and collected. She has the perfect attitude to be working with stressed-out brides since she has a very calming presence. We felt very confident in her, and she made my dress fit absolutely perfectly. My only advice - go early! These are gorgeous designer dresses, and mine took about 9 months to come in after I placed the order. Don't delay - go today! My experience at Anne Gregory was wonderful! I live in DC but am from the Pittsburgh area. I came home to shop for dresses with my mom. Our first appointment (which quickly became our only appointment) was at Anne Gregory. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They listened to what I wanted and pulled beautiful dresses for me. They were friendly and supportive through the entire process and my mom and I were very happy and felt so welcomed. This was my third time trying on dresses and was by far the best experience. I received the complete attention of Greg and his team and that made the appointment so special. I loved pretty much all of the dresses they pulled for me but once I tried on "the one," I knew it. Greg styled the dress with the perfect veil and I was completely in love with it. My mom and I cried and we knew it was my dress. I really can't recommend Anne Gregory enough. Greg and his team are amazing. I felt like we became fast friends and that they truly cared about me, my experience, and making sure I found the perfect gown. It's a day I will always remember. I am so excited for my dress to come in and I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day! Thank you, Anne Gregory!!

Hands down the best dress shop!! Let alone all the fabulous gowns to pick from, the service is beyond amazing! Greg and his team were absolutely wonderful! I ended up getting a gown I never would of thought to try on. Greg found the perfect dress and veil for me and I can't thank him enough for going the extra mile to make me feel absolutely beautiful on my big day. My mom also got her dress for the wedding here too and she looked stunning! We truly enjoyed each appointment we had because Greg and his team were so good to us. I highly recommend Anne Gregory to everyone! I'm so happy that I got to share such special memories here with my mom throughout the wedding process, it means the world to me.

Anne Gregory has an amazing team, and all of them know exactly what they are doing when it comes to finding you the perfect dress. It was the first time I ever tried on wedding dressing.. So, I didn't know exactly what I was looking for right away. Nina, my consultant, quickly found me the perfect dress within the first 5 I tried on. Gregory helped finished the look. I couldn't be more happy with my decision. All of them made me feel comfortable and beautiful. They are not pushy at all. Also, their private rooms make the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend! :)

Love, love, loveeeed my experience at Anne Gregory. I came in with a vision but couldn't put it into words and I'm not a very decisive person. Once Gregory talked to me and my Mom for a little he was able to pick the absolute perfect gown for my event. The fittings and the seamstress we worked with put me at complete ease; I looked forward to every fitting instead of dreading it.

I live in New York City but am from the Pittsburgh area, and I wanted to go wedding dress shopping with my mom. We made an appointment at Anne Gregory and were so happy we did! In a cosmic turn of events, I had been reading a wedding magazine on the plane and dog-eared the page when I saw an amazingly beautiful Rosa Clara dress that was featured. When we got to Anne Gregory, that very dress was hanging in the window, and it ended up being THE dress (the Rosa Clara "Niher" ballgown with long lace sleeves, a deep V back, and a voluminous tulle skirt). We bought my veil (also by Rosa Clara), belt, headband, and earrings at Anne Gregory. Everyone, including Gregory was so helpful, attentive, and fun, and my mom and I had a great time visiting the store the first time we went and for my two fittings. Their seamstress was wonderful and very patient, considering the amount of alteration I needed (including majorly debulking the tulle skirt so I could dance). The dress was everything I could have dreamed of, and I really felt like a queen on my big day. Thank you to everyone at Anne Gregory!

Lebanon is absolutely gorgeous and my mom and I couldn't help but fall in love with the entire atmosphere of their bridal shop. I had the privilege of working with Stephanie as my bridal consultant, and she listened to all of my ideas and helped find me find exactly what I was looking for. Her and Gregory were absolutely wonderful! Not only do they have a wide selection of stunning dresses, but they worked with my budget and helped me visualize exactly what I would look like on my big day. I can't wait to go back for my fittings!

Everything about my experience at Anne Gregory was perfect!! This was the first shop I visited with my mom, (future, at the time) mother in law, and sister, in search of a wedding gown. I fell in love with a gorgeous dress after trying on about 7 dresses that Greg personally pulled for me, but the dress had one element that I just wasn't crazy about. Greg got on the phone that minute and CALLED THE DESIGNER in Toronto to ask if they could make a modification to the design to truly make it the perfect gown. They could and they did! The dress arrived exactly as I envisioned and fit ALMOST like a glove. Fortunately, Lisa is a tailoring GENIUS, a wizard with lace, and made my off the shoulder lace top feel oh-so-comfortable and photo-ready. I loved my dress and veil, and felt like a million bucks on my wedding day. Greg is phenomenal, has incredible taste, and runs the most beautiful bridal salon in the city. If this shop isn't on the top of your list, you are missing out!!

I can't say enough amazing things about Anne Gregory. Every appointment was easy and fun, and every single staff member I came across was so friendly and helpful. This was the 3rd bridal salon I visited while I was searching for my wedding gown and they were easily the best experience I had. I didn't have a lot of ideas of what I was looking for, I just knew what shape I wanted, and our consultant was able to pull so many amazing dresses just based on my very vague ideas and I ended up loving a lot of them! The best part was they chose things that I loved that I would have never chosen off the rack on my own...they have unbelievable knowledge and experience to help guide you through the endless choices! My appointment was actually so much fun instead of overwhelming and stressful! At the end of my initial appointment, I was stuck between two dresses, and went back a few weeks later with my decision made, only to find out my dream gown by Rosa Clara had been discontinued by the designer!! The staff tried to locate a smaller size at another salon, and showed me a few other Rosa Clara gowns in a similar style, but ultimately, the in house seamstress said she could take the salon's sample down from a size 12 to my size 0. I was able to purchase the sample from the salon, and their amazing seamstresses got right to work, and after over 9 months of cutting and sewing and detailing any loose threads and beads, they fitted that dress to me so perfectly it was like it was made just for me. I looked incredible! And it was all thanks to the wonderful Anne Gregory staff!! I cannot recommend them more highly...they are kind, helpful, supportive, and provide excellent service!!!

I recently purchased my wedding dress at Anne Gregory and couldn't be happier. I went to a couple other bridal salons in another city before I came here and I can truly say that this was the bridal salon experience I was looking for. They knew exactly what I was looking for and pulled the perfect dress. They were familiar with my venue, which was very helpful because I wanted something light, comfortable and timeless that would fit the outdoor space and the summer weather perfectly. Greg came in himself and was a huge help during my appointment. I can't thank him and the staff enough!

I could not be more pleased with my experience at Anne Gregory! I had an expansive private show room with an adjoining dressing room to try on 10-15 gowns. The women helping me were very attentive to my preferences and continued to bring more options until I found the right one. It had a big-city boutique vibe with the attentiveness and personalized feel of a small town shop.

I found my perfect wedding gown at Anne Gregory and had a wonderful experience throughout the whole process of buying my gown & having it altered. I visited 3 other bridal salons in Pittsburgh, but knew as soon as I went to Anne Gregory I had found the right place. When initially trying on gowns, they were the most helpful and knowledgable by far. They presented me with about 8 gowns to try on, and every single one of them looked great on. After finding my gown, I knew nothing else would compare! All of the staff provided thoughtful advice and suggestions, and also helped me find a veil to purchase. When it came time for alterations, my seamstress added all the touches necessary to make my gown fit perfectly. The whole experience was flawless from beginning to end. My mother also purchased her gown here and had the same amazing experience. I would recommend Anne Gregory over any other salon based on their attention to detail, experience, and great employees.

I live in Chicago and visited Pittsburgh for the weekend to go dress shopping with my Mom and sisters. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses, and was very disappointed at the first place we went. Afterwards, we went to Bella Bridesmaids and they suggested Anne Gregory. I called and was able to get an appointment that afternoon. When we arrived, my family was warmly greeted by Gregory Cherico and staff. Gregory asked what I was looking for, I showed him some examples, and he told me he had the perfect dress. That was an understatement. The first dress Gregory brought me was the exact style I had in mind. For good measure, I tried on a handful of other beautiful gowns, but in the end purchased the first gown Gregory had suggested. The entire staff was exceptionally patient and accommodating, giving their undivided attention and support. I found my dream dress, all thanks to Gregory Cherico and his wonderful staff. Thank you again for an experience we will never forget!

Greg, Maryanne, Team and I created an amazing custom dress made by Ysa Makino... just amazing dress that I want to wear again. I cannot wait to wear it for my 25th and 50th wedding anniversary... every fitting was done to make this dress fit like a glove... The dress that I always envisioned... I was able to have because of the custom styles that Anne Gregory is able to order and design. I would recommend Anne Gregory for all brides however if you truly are looking for something unique and amazing... you have to stop in and see the amazing made to order dresses... love you Greg, Maryanne, and Lisa... you all have a special place in my heart.

My mom, sister, and I stopped by two weeks ago to look for MOB dresses and to look for accessories for my wedding in July. I was recommended to this store by my aunt, who had purchased her daughter's gown and accessories from the shop before it was moved to its new location. I'm not sure if the ownership changed as well, or if I should chalk it up to "the exclusive experience" that they wanted to portray, but a woman with a clipboard stopped us at the door when we rang the doorbell and condescendingly told us that they were "appointment only". Tonight, I called for an appointment, and when asked what I was looking for, I was told "honey, we don't sell accessories to you unless you buy your dress with us." Again in a condescending tone. I don't like this owner, Gregory's attitude with former customers--- putting their information and being so defensive in his replies makes me SURE that I will be cancelling my appointment and taking my business elsewhere! EW!

I chose to go to Anne Gregory for the Bride for a specific designer, Rosa Clara. They had a good selection of Rosa Clara gowns and the owner, Gregory, pulled a gown that they had just received for me to try on. The gown was perfect and I felt amazing on my wedding day. My husband and all my friends and family couldn't get over how good I looked! I did have a little trouble receiving my gown, it took over a year for it to come in after I was told 6-9 months. Despite that, my dress was well worth the wait.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! March 5th which was a year from my actually wedding date I had an appointment at Anne Gregory! I walked in and was happily greeted by Mary Ann! The dress search began! We tried on several dresses all which I loved, but wasn't sure it was the one! She called on her brother Greg! He came in gave me ONE look and said ,I will be right back!! He came with one dress eighth out of the box! I looked and said ehh I'll try it on for you! I put it on and let's sayd I told him I wasn't taking it off! A stunning rosa Clara dress that would come in from Barcelona!! These two for the next year took care of me like I was there own! My desss alterations were amazing and my mom found a mother of the bride Rosa Clara dress too! If you want a high class experience you will get it at ANNE GREGORY!!!! We love you guys!!!

Anne Gregory is a great choice for a classic bride. Their accommodations were lovely- we were seated in our own room with a large mirror and multiple consultants. The dress selection was mostly classic- all well-made, but not too many unique options. My only complaint is that the woman dressing me was a little uneasy. As a smaller person, I needed to be pinned into every dress, and this often was haphazard, making it difficult for me to get an idea of what the fit could be. I also went home with some scratches from pins.

I just left my last fitting at Anne Gregory. I think I'm going to miss having a reason to go there. I can't possibly say enough about what a wonderful experience I had. Firstly, the salon is beautiful!! It was my first stop when I began dress shopping and it turned out to be my last. My perfect dress was found that first day! They made my event feel so special and I didn't feel rushed at all. Working with them made choosing my gown enjoyable. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate me and to get the perfect fit for my gown. I just want to thank everyone at Anne Gregory, but a special thanks to my seamstress who was a saint and so patient! Thanks again!

The staff was great and redid my dress until I loved it the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was because I was terrified because my dress came in 3 weeks prior to my wedding. They initially told me August 2 and rather than them contact me I had to keep contacting them for updates and I didn't get it until sept 9th with a wedding on October 1st. Everything turned out perfect and the staff and owner were super accommodating and helpful though!

I bought my wedding dress at Anne Gregory this past year. The staff was exceptionally helpful and knew exactly what would look good on my frame. I also went back with my future mother in law and purchased my veil there as well. Unfortunately I ended up canceling the wedding about 6 months prior, and everyone at Anne Gregory was incredibly understanding and gracious. While I tearfully explained on the phone that the wedding was canceled, the owner assured me that there was no rush to pick up my dress and that I could take as much time as I needed. Anne Gregory is the definition of professionalism and they genuinely care about their customers. I would highly recommend them and thank them for everything.

Last weekend I had the upmost pleasure of saying "Yes to the dress at Anne Gregory For the Bride". The whole appointment from beginning to end was a complete dream. The team at Anne Gregory was fantastic! Greg himself helped select dresses for me to try on. His taste in bridal gowns, and accessories is spot on. The time I spent at the boutique was everything I've ever wanted for a bridal appointment. They were accommodating not only to me, but my whole party. (They even allowed me to wear the gown outside to look at it in natural lighting). I can't say enough good things about my experience. I highly, highly recommend Anne Gregory For the Bride. I'll start by saying that my family has bought 6 dresses from Anne Gregory-- does that scream 5 star? We won't go anywhere else! I went in for my dress appointment thinking I wanted a straight, lace wedding dress, but didn't end up liking that style on my body. They helped me try on all sorts of styles to see what I liked most... I ended up with a CUSTOM ANNE BARGE ballgown!! It was BEAUTIFUL and I'm still obsessed with it. We also got my mom's and gramma's beautiful dresses there for my wedding. So many compliments on all of our dresses. We can't say thank you enough!!!

I just bought my dress at Anne Gregory yesterday! They were extremely respectful of my modest budget and wouldn't show me anything outside of it. Greg brought in an Anne Barge dress that he thought would be perfect for my outdoor wedding. It was completely different than anything I thought I would get, but it was beautiful! My mom and friends were stunned when I walked out in it! He really has a great eye for what will look good on your body. The dress had just been discontinued, so he gave it to me at a great price.

Anne Gregory was by far the best bridal store option in southwestern Pennsylvania. We initially went in to view a Rosa Clara gown. After discussing budget and styles, Greg returned with several gowns, including those I had requested. This event was much more relaxing than previous shopping experiences, as each gown was personally picked for me. I ended up choosing a beautiful Anne Barge gown that he had happened to just get in that day for a sample. Greg ordered a brand new dress for my wedding and made sure everything was completed meticulously for my day. Living out of state, they were very accommodating to guarantee my fittings coordinated with my schedule. Greg and his staff work at the highest level to ensure their brides and guests are fulfilled and happy.

I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Anne Gregory. Chelsea, took excellent care of me and found dresses that were exactly what I asked for. Every dress I tried on I loved! It definitely made the decision process difficult, but in a good way! Greg was beyond incredible to my party and me. He came and checked in on us every few minutes and took the time to see me in each gown and offer his expertise. In fact, I came to the shop all the way from Kentucky solely because they carried Rosa Clara gowns. Greg made sure I got my Rosa Clara gown that was still in my budget. To top things off, he knew I was having a Kentucky Derby wedding, so he pulled me a gorgeous fascinator and made sure to offer it to me in my budget as well. It was my first and last stop for dress (and hat) shopping. Never in a million years did I think I would drive from Lexington Kentucky to buy a derby hat in Pittsburgh. I definitely recommend this shop to any searching bride!

They appeared nice and welcoming in the beginning. However, for my 3rd fitting appointment they forgot to make one the changes we discussed during the 2nd appointment. This led to me having to spend a fair amount of time on an unplanned 4th appointment the week before the wedding. When I suggested that they give me a small discount as a gesture of apology, they immediately became very rude, saying (I paraphrase), “if you don’t pay, we won’t give you the dress.” Basically, knowing that the wedding was quickly approaching and that I could not go anywhere else – knowing, in short, that they had all the leverage, they refused to do the right thing. It isn’t really so much about the discount: had they politely refused, it probably would have been okay. But the way they refused was very aggressive and impolite. It showed a complete refusal to admit fault (and the mistake was entirely their fault) and made me feel like they saw me only as a source of money, rather than as a person.

Choosing a bridal salon is a process in and of itself. I wanted a true bridal salon that went above and beyond to help me choose my wedding dress. Luckily, Anne Gregory for the Bride was my first and last stop! The building the bridal shop is located in is gorgeous and inviting, but more importantly so are the staff. We had a beautiful, private room that my family and friends could relax in and feel comfortable. This is the kind of place where all hands are on deck and each person works hard to make sure you are happy, comfortable, and pleased with your experience. They offer dresses for every budget and won't pressure you to choose a gown that you don't absolutely love! Gregory, the shop owner, is as fabulous as his shop! He literally brings New York to Pittsburgh, along with 39 years of experience. What more can you ask for?! I ultimately ended up choosing a gown, hand selected by him that I absolutely love! If you are looking for one of a kind gowns, excellent customer service, wrapped up in a beautiful salon, then look no further than Anne Gregory for the Bride!

From my first appointment to my final fitting, I had a great experience working mainly with Mary Anne and Lisa. Mary Anne helped me try on dresses during my first visit and stayed very close to my budget which was important to me. She helped guide me toward the perfect dress for me and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. Mary Anne was kind to work with and really had an eye for what would look nice on me. She listened to what I wanted, acknowledged my style, and helped me hone in on the dress that was right for me. Every detail I thought I would choose ending up being the opposite. I didn't have that "Ah Ha!" moment when trying on dresses and Mary Anne helped assure me that it was normal and that sometimes brides just need to choose which dress they like most. I appreciated her candor and willingness to help me make a decision. My dress did not end up coming in until about two and half months before the wedding and the staff was sure to get me in the salon for my fittings. They worked with my schedule and inability to leave work in the middle of the day and helped make time for me on a couple of Saturdays which is their busiest day of the week. I appreciate all of the help they provided and am so glad that I ordered my dress from there. Lisa was my seamstress throughout the process and she was wonderful to work with. She gave sound advice on alterations that I needed and once my alterations were quoted, they did not change. I had several tweaks made to my gown and even had a fourth fitting which I think may be unlikely, but they stuck to the quoted cost and provided me with great service. Lisa also helped create a more dramatic sweetheart top to my dress which originally came as a more straight across look. By the time I picked up my dress for the wedding weekend, I felt like we had created a custom look just for me and that felt very special. It turned out to be the exact dress that I had hoped to wear on my special day and I couldn't have done it without her. I was very glad that I could order my veil from the salon as well. Katrina had assisted with accessorizing my look and helped narrow down the type of belt and veil that I wanted. I have a very simple taste and the team at Anne Gregory did not try to steer me away from that. I appreciated that Mary Anne helped me order the exact veil that I wanted from my dress's designer, and also that Mary Anne and Gregory allowed me to have a random white ribbon to use as my belt. The fabric wasn't even for sale because it was so simple and yet they let me have it because it completed my look--They didn't have to do that. I am so grateful that the entire team helped make my vision a reality and cannot thank them enough. On top of a wonderful experience, the compliments I received on my gown were overwhelming. My dress ended up being a lot more simple than many dresses that women choose today and I think it helped me stand out from other brides. I heard over and over that the dress was beautiful and that the it was exactly my style. It's a great feeling to think you look beautiful and like a polished version of yourself, but getting compliments to reiterate that is always a joy as well. I looked like myself and I felt like myself. Even after the wedding, I took my dress back to the salon and they hadled preserving my dress for me. I'm very excited to see the final result! Anne Gregory had my wedding dress long before I even thought about getting married- I saw it in the window when I was walking home one night, and I fell in love with it. Once I got engaged, I went in and asked if I could try on the Lea-Ann Belter gown that was in the window, and they knew exactly which one I was talking about. It was the first dress I put on, but I felt a little uncomfortable with the front. So Greg called up Lea-Ann and asked her if she could put the front of another dress with the back of the dress I loved, and she agreed! They even invited me back a month later when Lea-Ann was there for a trunk show. I got to meet her, and she sketched the design of my dress for me to keep. My mother also got her dress at Anne Gregory, and that is saying something, considering she went to basically every bridal store in Western Pennsylvania. The staff is so kind there, the store is impeccably clean, and you don't feel like you are packed in on top of other brides. You are given individualized attention and a luxury dress shopping experience. I would recommend this shop to anyone, and I personally will continue to go back there any time I am looking for formal wear in the future.

It's hard to think of just the right words to describe the perfect experience we had at Anne Gregory. I scheduled an appointment on a bit of a whim...thinking it would be fun to stop and shop with my mom and a couple of friends while on a girls' trip to Pittsburgh. What we got was above and beyond any expectations that I had. Our appointment was on a Tuesday afternoon, and that was the perfect time. We had the salon to ourselves, but I know that even had there been other brides there that afternoon, we would have been made to feel as though we were the only party. I got to the salon with several pictures of my favorites. Greg and Stephanie quickly recognized the ones they had in stock and started gathering gowns for me to try. I loved, and much appreciated, the honest and sincere feedback that was given while trying on gowns that were clearly not the most flattering on my body type or skin tone. And then it happened... the perfect gown. They selected a gown that had not been in my list of favorites, nor really anything similar to what was in my list of favorites. But it was perfect. I truly had that 'moment' that you hear a few lucky brides talk about. I really feel like I can't say enough great things about our experience. It was definitely a wonderful one. I look forward to continue working with everyone at Anne Gregory for my fittings and looking for our mothers' dresses! I highly recommend trying Anne Gregory if you are looking for exceptional and personal service and beautiful, unique wedding gowns!

Loved my experience working with Greg atAnne Gregory. He is amazing and knows how to find the perfect dress! At AG you don't have the overwhelming feeling of looking through hundreds of dresses on a rack. Greg asks lots of questions about your style, what you like and don't like, and for pictures of dresses that inspire you. From there, he brings in dress after dress and is completely honest with you about what looks good and what looks great! I bought my dress that day and received 10% off! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that it look almost 9 months to get the dress in (they said it would take 6) and no one ever called me to let me know it was in. I had to call and by the time they could see me for my first fitting, it was too close to the wedding to order any dress accessories (so I had to hunt down a beaded belt in NYC but the alterations team is great and sewed it on perfectly!) I would definitely recommend Anne Gregory to anyone but would suggest keeping on top of them about when your dress will be in.

Anne Gregory provides the most amazing wedding dress shopping experience. I had visited a few other salons prior to Anne Gregory and had not had the magical experience I was expecting. As soon as I walked in to the salon, I felt that I was the only person the staff cared about. It was amazing. They helped me design a few changes to my dress and everything turned out perfectly. Highly recommended!!!

My first appointment with Anne Gregory went very smoothly. I had a wonderful attendant. Based on the first few dresses I tried on, she realized what I was looking for and brought out some really stunning options. I found one my mom and I both loved. I came back two weeks later to make the purchase and I had an equally wonderful experience. They even had a few more options for me to try on for fun. Overall, the atmosphere was lovely, and I never felt pressured or overwhelmed during the experience. It was just so simple and comforting. The dress selection really is amazing. Not only do the dresses feel great (soft, not itchy, etc.), but they also look really unique and detailed, which is not what I was finding at other stores. Greg and his employees were so kind and welcoming. You must make an appointment here! You won't regret it :)

From the very first day that I walked into Anne Gregory, I was made to feel like I was family. They welcomed me with open arms and made sure I found the dress of my dreams. The staff is unbelievable and by the end of our relationship together, I felt like I had known them my entire life. They made sure my dress was perfect and it fit me like a glove. They gave my maid of honor clear instructions on what to do with my train and spent the extra time with her so she knew what she was doing. I'd highly recommend anyone looking for a hands on, local boutique to go to Anne Gregory and see the family run business at it's best!

My experience here was absolutely fantastic!!!! I am not exactly a size 2 dress, so I was very worried about shopping for my wedding dress. The owner and staff there were so very professional, and kind to me. The owner hand picked dresses for me just when I was getting frustrated. I fell in love with the dress and it was within my budget, the owner and the staff were so very warm and kind to my bridesmaid, mother, and myself. I would recommend Anne Gregory to anyone!!!

As soon as I walked into Anne Gregory I was greeted by Greg himself. He listened to what I was looking for and came to me with some of his own ideas. They have beautiful dresses and a wonderful staff. The girl who was helping me, Stephanie, really paid attention to things that I liked and disliked. After about an hour, she brought me a dress that was EXACTLY what i was looking for. She even said that as soon as I put the dress on she knew this is what I wanted. I loved how shopping at Anne Gregory was not overwhelming, you didn't walk into a room with thousands of dresses. I sat down and talked with Greg about what I was looking for and he went off and brought me dresses he thought was what I wanted and would flatter my figure. Overall I had such a wonderful and perfect experience. I'm glad that this was the first and only dress shopping I had to do! Thank you Anne Gregory!

I bought my wedding dress at Anne Gregory today and I could not be happier! I had been shopping for over a month before coming in and I thought I was sold on another dress but it only took 2 hours at Anne Gregory to get me to change my mind! The staff were so welcoming and professional and picked out dresses for me that were stunning but also completely within my budget! I was so happy to find small and even local designers available as well. Not to mention, my wedding is 5 months away and no one seemed worried about me getting the dress back in time. I had actually put off going here because I was sure they were going to try to sell me some $10K designed dress made in China. I couldn't not have been more wrong!! So excited for my fitting!! Thank you so much!

I scheduled an appointment at Anne Gregory, and was hopeful that I could look at some beautiful dresses. I ran into some problems when I realized I was just about one size too big to fit into most of their dresses. They suggested I drape the dresses on me to see what they would look like. I'm sorry, but I'm not spending thousands on a wedding dress when I have no idea how it would look on me. They basically suggested I go to the plus size bridal boutique nearby, and made me feel terrible about it. I was left crying in their dressing room, and I left the store completely embarrassed and ashamed. I had been able to try on dresses at other boutiques. In case you think I might just be way too fat, I know someone else who had been there in the past few months, is thinner than I am, and she also mentioned that she couldn't fit into some of their more form fitting dresses. I wish I had known their sizes would be so small. They really need to mention this either when you book the appointment or on their website. I understand that maybe I shouldn't have gone there in the first place, but it really wasn't necessary to make me feel ashamed.

Gorgeous dresses

Anne Gregory for the Bride is the most exquisite store. Everything was world class from the first time we walked in to look for a wedding gown. There is no reason to go anywhere else in the Pittsburgh area! Everyone was so excited and happy to help us, and they had the most gorgeous selection of gowns in varying price ranges and styles. Their seamstress is unbelievably talented, and we loved the privacy that the store provided. Each appointment is meticulously scheduled and the bride and her entourage for the day has their own suite with a private dressing room. No parading out in front of strangers into the middle of a store- thank goodness! Gregory was so much fun to work with- he was there to help with my final look and was super interested and excited about my upcoming wedding...from the shoes I was wearing, to helping me select earrings to wear, etc. He told us about his family's history in bridal fashions and we really enjoyed hearing their rich tradition of outfitting brides, mothers, and bridesmaids. An absolutely stunning and sparkling experience- I am only sad it's over!
