e first arrived and taken to an area to discuss dress options with my consultant. She took time to look at some photos that I had and listen to my wants list. The dresses that were pulled were good for the most part and one I even loved and considered purchasing. Greg was around for the appointment and was a great confidence booster! The downfall came with me not being a sample size. There wasn't one dress that I tried on that could even almost zip and one I was told to just drape over myself while in the dressing room to see what it would look like. I'm a 14/16, fairly average bride and was not aware that there would be no dresses in my size range try, especially with many designers now offering plus size lines or versions of their dresses. When asked if I wanted to try on more dresses, the consultant left to go search for more and then came back and told me "I'm sorry, we have nothing else for you here." I'm glad so many other brides have had such great experiences and clearly the salon is doing something right given the numerous awards, but it just wasn't a great experience for me.

It was a sample piece, and I bought it as-is off the rack, so for a decent fee their in-house seamstress fixed all the little tears from when other people had tried it on. I ended up with the dress of my dreams and way within my budget. Thank you so much!!

d I was getting married in Pittsburgh. I wanted to go dress shopping with my mom, my future mother in law, and my aunts when I was coming home one weekend. I was searching for the perfect wedding gown and Anne Gregory was the first and only bridal salon that I visited. I had let them know what I was looking for before my appointment and when I got there, they had a selection of dresses ready for me. I had tried on 5 dresses and really liked the 1st dress that I had tried on the best. Greg, then said he had the perfect dress in mind. He went back and pulled it for me and I put it on and the rest was history. I got that “this is it” feeling and when I walked out there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. I had fallen in love with the most gorgeous dress. Then Michele grabbed a veil that complimented the dress perfectly. I looked incredible on my wedding day and felt like a princess - and it was all thanks to the wonderful Anne Gregory staff! Every staff member was so helpful, attentive, and such a joy to be around – and all provided excellent customer service. My mom and I really enjoyed every trip to the salon. We cannot say enough great things about Greg and his staff. At Anne Gregory, you’ll receive top notch experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding dress or formal gown. I’m excited and looking forward to seeing them in their new location!

o Anne Gregory and I ended up buying the second dress I tried on. Their staff is wonderful and made the process so fun. I also can't say enough great things about their seamstress. I have scoliosis and the dress was laying crooked on my body. She worked her magic and had the dress fitting me like a glove and made everything fit perfectly- you would never know the work she had to do to it (dropping one shoulder more than the other, only taking the dress in from one side, etc.) I HIGHLY recommend doing your dress shopping here and getting your dress fitted here as well! Their seamstress on sight did a phenomenal job and when it was time for me to take the dress home they even helped me bring it to my car. Let me just say I would never have expected a random google search would turn into an amazing experience and even better me finding my perfect dress!! The whole experience was amazing, not only was the woman I was paired with (Mrs zammerilla - can’t remember her first name but her daughters are fellow Pittsburgh panther alums which was great!!) extremely helpful and knowledgeable and then Gregory himself helped to pick out the dresses for me to try on. I told them what I was looking for and the first dress I tried on checked every box and more for what I was looking for! I instantly fell in love with the dress and Gregory and his team did an amazing job finding me my perfect dress that I will cherish forever!! The whole overall experience was amazing. They made me feel so comfortable and actually listened to what I wanted and worked their magic!! I am happy that I said yes to the dress here! And I am soo looking forward to my first fitting coming this april! I hope it’ll go just as smoothly as my first experience!

Unlike other bridal salons in the area where you look through racks to find some dresses that you think you might like and then try them on with the help of a 'consultant,' Anne Gregory is staffed with true consultants who listen to what you want (or what you THINK you want) and then go into their back room and pull dresses for you to try on. I tried on a few dresses, and each was more beautiful than the last! Partway through my appointment, the owner Greg came in and looked at me and was like, "I have the dress for you!" He walked out and returned with the Anne Barge Berkeley gown. I put it on and immediately had an emotional response to it and knew it was 'the one.' Apparently he just did the same exact thing for my future sister-in-law. That man has a gift for identifying the perfect dress for a bride!! I also want to say that I was extremely impressed with their seamstress. I unfortunately cannot remember her name, but she was incredible. Very calm, cool, and collected. She has the perfect attitude to be working with stressed-out brides since she has a very calming presence. We felt very confident in her, and she made my dress fit absolutely perfectly. My only advice - go early! These are gorgeous designer dresses, and mine took about 9 months to come in after I placed the order. Don't delay - go today! They were friendly and supportive through the entire process and my mom and I were very happy and felt so welcomed. This was my third time trying on dresses and was by far the best experience. I received the complete attention of Greg and his team and that made the appointment so special. I loved pretty much all of the dresses they pulled for me but once I tried on "the one," I knew it. Greg styled the dress with the perfect veil and I was completely in love with it. My mom and I cried and we knew it was my dress. I really can't recommend Anne Gregory enough. Greg and his team are amazing. I felt like we became fast friends and that they truly cared about me, my experience, and making sure I found the perfect gown. It's a day I will always remember. My mom also got her dress for the wedding here too and she looked stunning! We truly enjoyed each appointment we had because Greg and his team were so good to us. I couldn't be more happy with my decision. All of them made me feel comfortable and beautiful. They are not pushy at all. Also, their private rooms make the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend! :)

a cosmic turn of events, I had been reading a wedding magazine on the plane and dog-eared the page when I saw an amazingly beautiful Rosa Clara dress that was featured. When we got to Anne Gregory, that very dress was hanging in the window, and it ended up being THE dress (the Rosa Clara "Niher" ballgown with long lace sleeves, a deep V back, and a voluminous tulle skirt). We bought my veil (also by Rosa Clara), belt, headband, and earrings at Anne Gregory. Everyone, including Gregory was so helpful, attentive, and fun, and my mom and I had a great time visiting the store the first time we went and for my two fittings. Their seamstress was wonderful and very patient, considering the amount of alteration I needed (including majorly debulking the tulle skirt so I could dance). The dress was everything I could have dreamed of, and I really felt like a queen on my big day. Thank you to everyone at Anne Gregory!

I had the privilege of working with Stephanie as my bridal consultant, and she listened to all of my ideas and helped find me find exactly what I was looking for. Her and Gregory were absolutely wonderful! Not only do they have a wide selection of stunning dresses, but they worked with my budget and helped me visualize exactly what I would look like on my big day. I can't wait to go back for my fittings!

gown. I fell in love with a gorgeous dress after trying on about 7 dresses that Greg personally pulled for me, but the dress had one element that I just wasn't crazy about. Greg got on the phone that minute and CALLED THE DESIGNER in Toronto to ask if they could make a modification to the design to truly make it the perfect gown. They could and they did! The dress arrived exactly as I envisioned and fit ALMOST like a glove. Fortunately, Lisa is a tailoring GENIUS, a wizard with lace, and made my off the shoulder lace top feel oh-so-comfortable and photo-ready. I loved my dress and veil, and felt like a million bucks on my wedding day. Greg is phenomenal, has incredible taste, and runs the most beautiful bridal salon in the city. If this shop isn't on the top of your list, you are missing out!!

bridal salon I visited while I was searching for my wedding gown and they were easily the best experience I had. I didn't have a lot of ideas of what I was looking for, I just knew what shape I wanted, and our consultant was able to pull so many amazing dresses just based on my very vague ideas and I ended up loving a lot of them! The best part was they chose things that I loved that I would have never chosen off the rack on my own...they have unbelievable knowledge and experience to help guide you through the endless choices! My appointment was actually so much fun instead of overwhelming and stressful! At the end of my initial appointment, I was stuck between two dresses, and went back a few weeks later with my decision made, only to find out my dream gown by Rosa Clara had been discontinued by the designer!! The staff tried to locate a smaller size at another salon, and showed me a few other Rosa Clara gowns in a similar style, but ultimately, the in house seamstress said she could take the salon's sample down from a size 12 to my size 0. I was able to purchase the sample from the salon, and their amazing seamstresses got right to work, and after over 9 months of cutting and sewing and detailing any loose threads and beads, they fitted that dress to me so perfectly it was like it was made just for me. I looked incredible! And it was all thanks to the wonderful Anne Gregory staff!! I cannot recommend them more highly...they are kind, helpful, supportive, and provide excellent service!!!

They presented me with about 8 gowns to try on, and every single one of them looked great on. After finding my gown, I knew nothing else would compare! All of the staff provided thoughtful advice and suggestions, and also helped me find a veil to purchase. When it came time for alterations, my seamstress added all the touches necessary to make my gown fit perfectly. The whole experience was flawless from beginning to end. My mother also purchased her gown here and had the same amazing experience. I would recommend Anne Gregory over any other salon based on their attention to detail, experience, and great employees.

t the first place we went. Afterwards, we went to Bella Bridesmaids and they suggested Anne Gregory. I called and was able to get an appointment that afternoon. When we arrived, my family was warmly greeted by Gregory Cherico and staff. Gregory asked what I was looking for, I showed him some examples, and he told me he had the perfect dress. That was an understatement. The first dress Gregory brought me was the exact style I had in mind. For good measure, I tried on a handful of other beautiful gowns, but in the end purchased the first gown Gregory had suggested. The entire staff was exceptionally patient and accommodating, giving their undivided attention and support. I found my dream dress, all thanks to Gregory Cherico and his wonderful staff. Thank you again for an experience we will never forget!

anniversary... every fitting was done to make this dress fit like a glove... The dress that I always envisioned... I was able to have because of the custom styles that Anne Gregory is able to order and design. I would recommend Anne Gregory for all brides however if you truly are looking for something unique and amazing... you have to stop in and see the amazing made to order dresses... love you Greg, Maryanne, and Lisa... you all have a special place in my heart.

I'm not sure if the ownership changed as well, or if I should chalk it up to "the exclusive experience" that they wanted to portray, but a woman with a clipboard stopped us at the door when we rang the doorbell and condescendingly told us that they were "appointment only". Tonight, I called for an appointment, and when asked what I was looking for, I was told "honey, we don't sell accessories to you unless you buy your dress with us." Again in a condescending tone. I don't like this owner, Gregory's attitude with former customers--- putting their information and being so defensive in his replies makes me SURE that I will be cancelling my appointment and taking my business elsewhere! EW!

ust received for me to try on. The gown was perfect and I felt amazing on my wedding day. My husband and all my friends and family couldn't get over how good I looked! I did have a little trouble receiving my gown, it took over a year for it to come in after I was told 6-9 months. Despite that, my dress was well worth the wait.

He came with one dress eighth out of the box! I looked and said ehh I'll try it on for you! I put it on and let's sayd I told him I wasn't taking it off! A stunning rosa Clara dress that would come in from Barcelona!! These two for the next year took care of me like I was there own! My desss alterations were amazing and my mom found a mother of the bride Rosa Clara dress too! If you want a high class experience you will get it at ANNE GREGORY!!!! We love you guys!!!

ion was mostly classic- all well-made, but not too many unique options. My only complaint is that the woman dressing me was a little uneasy. As a smaller person, I needed to be pinned into every dress, and this often was haphazard, making it difficult for me to get an idea of what the fit could be. I also went home with some scratches from pins.

They made my event feel so special and I didn't feel rushed at all. Working with them made choosing my gown enjoyable. other in law and purchased my veil there as well. Unfortunately I ended up canceling the wedding about 6 months prior, and everyone at Anne Gregory was incredibly understanding and gracious. While I tearfully explained on the phone that the wedding was canceled, the owner assured me that there was no rush to pick up my dress and that I could take as much time as I needed. Anne Gregory is the definition of professionalism and they genuinely care about their customers. I would highly recommend them and thank them for everything.

e Gregory was fantastic! Greg himself helped select dresses for me to try on. His taste in bridal gowns, and accessories is spot on. The time I spent at the boutique was everything I've ever wanted for a bridal appointment. They were accommodating not only to me, but my whole party. d a straight, lace wedding dress, but didn't end up liking that style on my body. They helped me try on all sorts of styles to see what I liked most... I ended up with a CUSTOM ANNE BARGE ballgown!! It was BEAUTIFUL and I'm still obsessed with it. We also got my mom's and gramma's beautiful dresses there for my wedding. So many compliments on all of our dresses. We can't say thank you enough!!!

Greg and his staff work at the highest level to ensure their brides and guests are fulfilled and happy.

He came and checked in on us every few minutes and took the time to see me in each gown and offer his expertise. In fact, I came to the shop all the way from Kentucky solely because they carried Rosa Clara gowns. Greg made sure I got my Rosa Clara gown that was still in my budget. To top things off, he knew I was having a Kentucky Derby wedding, so he pulled me a gorgeous fascinator and made sure to offer it to me in my budget as well. It was my first and last stop for dress (and hat) shopping. Never in a million years did I think I would drive from Lexington Kentucky to buy a derby hat in Pittsburgh. I definitely recommend this shop to any searching bride!

me having to spend a fair amount of time on an unplanned 4th appointment the week before the wedding. When I suggested that they give me a small discount as a gesture of apology, they immediately became very rude, saying (I paraphrase), “if you don’t pay, we won’t give you the dress.” Basically, knowing that the wedding was quickly approaching and that I could not go anywhere else – knowing, in short, that they had all the leverage, they refused to do the right thing. It isn’t really so much about the discount: had they politely refused, it probably would have been okay. But the way they refused was very aggressive and impolite. It showed a complete refusal to admit fault (and the mistake was entirely their fault) and made me feel like they saw me only as a source of money, rather than as a person.

de was my first and last stop! The building the bridal shop is located in is gorgeous and inviting, but more importantly so are the staff. We had a beautiful, private room that my family and friends could relax in and feel comfortable. This is the kind of place where all hands are on deck and each person works hard to make sure you are happy, comfortable, and pleased with your experience. They offer dresses for every budget and won't pressure you to choose a gown that you don't absolutely love! Gregory, the shop owner, is as fabulous as his shop! He literally brings New York to Pittsburgh, along with 39 years of experience. What more can you ask for?! I ultimately ended up choosing a gown, hand selected by him that I absolutely love! very close to my budget which was important to me. She helped guide me toward the perfect dress for me and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. Mary Anne was kind to work with and really had an eye for what would look nice on me. She listened to what I wanted, acknowledged my style, and helped me hone in on the dress that was right for me. Every detail I thought I would choose ending up being the opposite. I didn't have that "Ah Ha!" moment when trying on dresses and Mary Anne helped assure me that it was normal and that sometimes brides just need to choose which dress they like most. I appreciated her candor and willingness to help me make a decision. My dress did not end up coming in until about two and half months before the wedding and the staff was sure to get me in the salon for my fittings. They worked with my schedule and inability to leave work in the middle of the day and helped make time for me on a couple of Saturdays which is their busiest day of the week. I appreciate all of the help they provided and am so glad that I ordered my dress from there. Lisa was my seamstress throughout the process and she was wonderful to work with. She gave sound advice on alterations that I needed and once my alterations were quoted, they did not change. I had several tweaks made to my gown and even had a fourth fitting which I think may be unlikely, but they stuck to the quoted cost and provided me with great service. Lisa also helped create a more dramatic sweetheart top to my dress which originally came as a more straight across look. By the time I picked up my dress for the wedding weekend, I felt like we had created a custom look just for me and that felt very special. It turned out to be the exact dress that I had hoped to wear on my special day and I couldn't have done it without her. I was very glad that I could order my veil from the salon as well. Katrina had assisted with accessorizing my look and helped narrow down the type of belt and veil that I wanted. I have a very simple taste and the team at Anne Gregory did not try to steer me away from that. I appreciated that Mary Anne helped me order the exact veil that I wanted from my dress's designer, and also that Mary Anne and Gregory allowed me to have a random white ribbon to use as my belt. The fabric wasn't even for sale because it was so simple and yet they let me have it because it completed my look--They didn't have to do that. I am so grateful that the entire team helped make my vision a reality and cannot thank them enough. On top of a wonderful experience, the compliments I received on my gown were overwhelming. My dress ended up being a lot more simple than many dresses that women choose today and I think it helped me stand out from other brides. I heard over and over that the dress was beautiful and that the it was exactly my style. It's a great feeling to think you look beautiful and like a polished version of yourself, but getting compliments to reiterate that is always a joy as well. I looked like myself and I felt like myself. Even after the wedding, I took my dress back to the salon and they hadled preserving my dress for me. I'm very excited to see the final result! engaged, I went in and asked if I could try on the Lea-Ann Belter gown that was in the window, and they knew exactly which one I was talking about. It was the first dress I put on, but I felt a little uncomfortable with the front. So Greg called up Lea-Ann and asked her if she could put the front of another dress with the back of the dress I loved, and she agreed! They even invited me back a month later when Lea-Ann was there for a trunk show. I got to meet her, and she sketched the design of my dress for me to keep. My mother also got her dress at Anne Gregory, and that is saying something, considering she went to basically every bridal store in Western Pennsylvania. The staff is so kind there, the store is impeccably clean, and you don't feel like you are packed in on top of other brides. You are given individualized attention and a luxury dress shopping experience. I would recommend this shop to anyone, and I personally will continue to go back there any time I am looking for formal wear in the future.

top and shop with my mom and a couple of friends while on a girls' trip to Pittsburgh. What we got was above and beyond any expectations that I had. Our appointment was on a Tuesday afternoon, and that was the perfect time. We had the salon to ourselves, but I know that even had there been other brides there that afternoon, we would have been made to feel as though we were the only party. I got to the salon with several pictures of my favorites. Greg and Stephanie quickly recognized the ones they had in stock and started gathering gowns for me to try. I loved, and much appreciated, the honest and sincere feedback that was given while trying on gowns that were clearly not the most flattering on my body type or skin tone. And then it happened... the perfect gown. They selected a gown that had not been in my list of favorites, nor really anything similar to what was in my list of favorites. But it was perfect. I truly had that 'moment' that you hear a few lucky brides talk about. I really feel like I can't say enough great things about our experience. It was definitely a wonderful one. I look forward to continue working with everyone at Anne Gregory for my fittings and looking for our mothers' dresses!
