nt we wanted to enter. I was battling Stage 3 breast cancer, planning a wedding feeling like I was drowning but had a fun little passion project to distract myself. Once learning this, Denise became one of my steadfast supports- always checking in not only on the wedding, but my health and wellness. Our phone planning sessions became something I looked forward to. I used Denise as a partial-plan and she does exactly what she says- links arms with you and walks you through the planning process. She was always there to answer my many questions, keep me on track and accompanied us to our vendor previews and detail meetings. When it comes to running the rehearsal, Denise is a pro. She walked us though everything twice and handled many family members with care and ease. She was able to corral groups of people, communicate effectively and she works in a way that is captivating, so it’s not hard for her to get your attention! On the day of the wedding, Denise planned to bring two of her assistants (which she did) who I had the pleasure of meeting at the vendor previews and detail meetings. They took meticulous notes for me to look back on so I could just be in the moment. Denise jumped on any planning call I asked of her and she is a master at creating correct and effective timelines. Amy’s job was to stay posted up in the bridal suite and she did so much running around for me between my place and the venue (they shared a parking lot) but with a level 2 snow storm, this was SO helpful. She also was my calm in the storm of photos, asking how I was doing and if we needed a break (it was 20 degrees outside and photography can be a LOT sometimes or for some brides). Leslie helped any and everyone from my dad fumbling with his tux, to my flower girls’ nerves, she was there for it all. And Denise- I know of nothing that went wrong this entire day because of her. She was handling everything at the venue, checking all the last minute details we discussed and if something went wrong- I simply did not ever find out. She was there to take my bouquet, my vows, my dress- literally anything, anytime I reached for her, Leslie or Amy. After the wedding, Denise and Leslie both followed up, giving us space but also having that “omg that went so well!!!” conversation finally after 2 years of planning together. Denise and her team were worth every penny. Annie Rose Events truly cares about who you are as a couple, as individuals and your vision/how to bring it to life. Denise will be a longtime friend of mine, I am sure and thanks to her and her team, we had the day of our dreams.

stop everything to fly to California for the funeral and related arrangements, leaving a bunch of loose ends. But because Denise had us on track and was so organized and considerate, she helped me with all those details, and we had lovely and memorable wedding celebration.
Denise told my daughter and me numerous times that her job was to make the weeks and days leading up to the wedding stress-free, and she succeeded. When she saw on the Day Of that there were not enough boutonnieres for the groomsmen (my bad), she made new ones herself out of available flowers and greenery without even telling me. It was a hot day, and she made sure the venue kept the ice water flowing for our guests. And after dinner, she packaged up all the items we'd left in various rooms in the venue—including rented things from the florist—and had them ready for us to load. She took the cupcake stands back to the baker herself.
And oh, that baker—all the other vendors she found for us! Simply terrific, and not particularly pricey. Plus, Denise was superb at being a go-between.
Indeed, Denise was an amazing communicator and a great listener. Even when my daughter and I had significant disagreements during our weekly conference calls, Denise knew what to say to defuse the situation.
Hire Denise for all those reasons, and for her creativity and energy. After the wedding day, she told me she'd taken 32,000 steps that day—15 to 16 miles, I think. I totally believe it!

During the final month of planning, they helped us chase down difficult vendors and consistently advocated for our point of view. nsive and easy to communicate with and ensured me that she would help to execute my vision for our wedding day from the start. The set up of our event was beyond what I could have imagined. The décor was set up so beautifully by Denise and her team and the flow of everything just made sense. She also kept everything organized and packed everything up at the end of the night just as we had it so things were neat and nothing was lost which I especially appreciated since I had rented our décor and had to return it. She handled everything and myself and my husband were able to just enjoy our day without having to worry. One example where Denise especially shined – our rented ceremony arch was not sturdy and kept falling, Denise quickly let me know and I said I was good with whatever adjustments were necessary. She quickly improvised to a different arch our venue had that could support our florals, and beautifully decorated it to enhance our ceremony. I liked it more than the original option! are that we hired Denise/Annie Rose Events to be our month-of coordinator for our wedding. I wasn’t convinced we needed a coordinator at first but Denise is 1000% worth it. She gives you a full month of support at a price comparable to other day-of coordinators, and has an excellent team that she works with as well. We had A LOT of issues with our wedding venue, which really escalated in the last month before our wedding and Denise stepped in and managed everything for us seamlessly. The management team at our venue dropped the ball on many different things but Denise and her team stepped in and went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing wedding. If not for Denise and her team, we’re not sure our reception would have come together and it certainly would not have looked as beautiful as it did.
One good piece of advice I was given in wedding planning was that a venue coordinator represents the venue while your own coordinator represents you and your interests. Denise was our advocate throughout a very stressful process and we cannot recommend her highly enough!

I'm a generally anxious person, but having Denise by my side put my mind at ease. Having her to text, call, or video call with really helped the process go smoothly.
On the day of the wedding, Denise was (literally) running around, making sure everything went off seamlessly. All the while, she checked in on the me (the bride), the groom, the bridal party, and the parents to ensure we were calm and didn't have any more questions.
