This is my love letter to Denise. I found Denise through her glowing reviews on The Knot and reached out. We instantly connected over the phone and agreed this was a mutual agreeme...
nt we wanted to enter. I was battling Stage 3 breast cancer, planning a wedding feeling like I was drowning but had a fun little passion project to distract myself. Once learning this, Denise became one of my steadfast supports- always checking in not only on the wedding, but my health and wellness. Our phone planning sessions became something I looked forward to. I used Denise as a partial-plan and she does exactly what she says- links arms with you and walks you through the planning process. She was always there to answer my many questions, keep me on track and accompanied us to our vendor previews and detail meetings. When it comes to running the rehearsal, Denise is a pro. She walked us though everything twice and handled many family members with care and ease. She was able to corral groups of people, communicate effectively and she works in a way that is captivating, so it’s not hard for her to get your attention! On the day of the wedding, Denise planned to bring two of her assistants (which she did) who I had the pleasure of meeting at the vendor previews and detail meetings. They took meticulous notes for me to look back on so I could just be in the moment. Denise jumped on any planning call I asked of her and she is a master at creating correct and effective timelines. Amy’s job was to stay posted up in the bridal suite and she did so much running around for me between my place and the venue (they shared a parking lot) but with a level 2 snow storm, this was SO helpful. She also was my calm in the storm of photos, asking how I was doing and if we needed a break (it was 20 degrees outside and photography can be a LOT sometimes or for some brides). Leslie helped any and everyone from my dad fumbling with his tux, to my flower girls’ nerves, she was there for it all. And Denise- I know of nothing that went wrong this entire day because of her. She was handling everything at the venue, checking all the last minute details we discussed and if something went wrong- I simply did not ever find out. She was there to take my bouquet, my vows, my dress- literally anything, anytime I reached for her, Leslie or Amy. After the wedding, Denise and Leslie both followed up, giving us space but also having that “omg that went so well!!!” conversation finally after 2 years of planning together. Denise and her team were worth every penny. Annie Rose Events truly cares about who you are as a couple, as individuals and your vision/how to bring it to life. Denise will be a longtime friend of mine, I am sure and thanks to her and her team, we had the day of our dreams.
Denise is the best investment you will make into your big day! We hired her for a full wedding planning immediately after getting engaged. The very next day she had a photographer ...
lined up for us. Every single vendor we used was who she recommended and everything went perfectly according to plan.
Day of she’s ON IT! She takes care of everything, even if something goes awry. She really knows her stuff and I had complete faith in her the day of my wedding.
The week of my wedding people kept asking if I was stressed, but I did not have a worry due to how well Denise had planned our wedding. My day was absolutely perfect - all thanks to Denise.
Do yourself favor and HIRE HER NOW!!

during an initial consultation call she was very forthcoming and helpful, providing us lots of information about the process and important details. Working with her was simply amazing. Despite our short (less than 5 months) planning time, we were able to get everything done in time and in a very relaxed manner. We appreciate Denise routinely checking in with us to keep us on track and within our budget. She was also very helpful with navigating the intricacies of a celebrating an African-European wedding with most guests coming from abroad.
To put it simply: Our garden-themed wedding was spectacular and exactly what we had imagined. Thank you Denise!

wedding planning. The day of our wedding, everything went perfectly because of Denise's organization and leadership. This is not just a job to her. You can tell she cares deeply about the couples she works with and there's nothing she wouldn't do to make sure your wedding day is as magical as you imagined!
Denise made the wedding day so smooth and stress free for myself, my family and bridal party! She brings such a positive energy and her passion for events shines through!
Denise of Annie Rose Events helped make my daughter's wedding amazing in ways big and small.
In fact, she really saved us.
Ten days before the Big Day, my father died. I had to...
stop everything to fly to California for the funeral and related arrangements, leaving a bunch of loose ends. But because Denise had us on track and was so organized and considerate, she helped me with all those details, and we had lovely and memorable wedding celebration.
Denise told my daughter and me numerous times that her job was to make the weeks and days leading up to the wedding stress-free, and she succeeded. When she saw on the Day Of that there were not enough boutonnieres for the groomsmen (my bad), she made new ones herself out of available flowers and greenery without even telling me. It was a hot day, and she made sure the venue kept the ice water flowing for our guests. And after dinner, she packaged up all the items we'd left in various rooms in the venue—including rented things from the florist—and had them ready for us to load. She took the cupcake stands back to the baker herself.
And oh, that baker—all the other vendors she found for us! Simply terrific, and not particularly pricey. Plus, Denise was superb at being a go-between.
Indeed, Denise was an amazing communicator and a great listener. Even when my daughter and I had significant disagreements during our weekly conference calls, Denise knew what to say to defuse the situation.
Hire Denise for all those reasons, and for her creativity and energy. After the wedding day, she told me she'd taken 32,000 steps that day—15 to 16 miles, I think. I totally believe it!

She went above and beyond and lifted so much stress off our day. She made sure our vision came to life with decorations and throughout the process and day was there with us. I especially loved that Denise understood our unique circumstances and challenges and she was only concerned about what we wanted … not what we were “supposed” to do. I felt comfortable to confide in her about personal matters, and having someone in my corner who understood me, made our day possible.
Denise and her assistant were an invaluable part of the team that brought our wedding to life. Anyone would be lucky to have Annie Rose events on their side.

of coordination. Not only did they help us plan and organize, but they went above and beyond by taking responsibilities off of our plate and onto theirs. During the final month of planning, they helped us chase down difficult vendors and consistently advocated for our point of view. After all the planning, they also helped us execute a million day of tasks like holding our flowers across days, assembling take-away gifts, and stepping in for a handful of last-minute requests. This was the best money spent during our entire wedding and really served as insurance for the investment we made for the wedding.

pany to me! Denise is so sweet and very on top of things! This company will make all your wedding visions and dreams come true! I had Leslie and Amy as my day of coordinators and they absolutely nailed it. I was not stressed and neither was any family members. We were able to relax and enjoy the day. Unfortunately it rained on my wedding day but these two last minute made an outdoor ceremony indoor and made it match my vision of my initial wedding. They were on top of everything and kept the day moving smoothly. They were able to do anything that was asked and were so wonderful to work with. Highly recommend. Would give 100 stars if possible.

She truly loves what she does and that makes working with her so special! We are so thankful to have met Denise and for all her work to make our day the most perfect day ever! We consider her such a close family friend after working with her for so long. I may be done planning my wedding, but I certainly won’t stop calling Denise! :) Thank you so much Denise!

nsive and easy to communicate with and ensured me that she would help to execute my vision for our wedding day from the start. The set up of our event was beyond what I could have imagined. The décor was set up so beautifully by Denise and her team and the flow of everything just made sense. She also kept everything organized and packed everything up at the end of the night just as we had it so things were neat and nothing was lost which I especially appreciated since I had rented our décor and had to return it. She handled everything and myself and my husband were able to just enjoy our day without having to worry. One example where Denise especially shined – our rented ceremony arch was not sturdy and kept falling, Denise quickly let me know and I said I was good with whatever adjustments were necessary. She quickly improvised to a different arch our venue had that could support our florals, and beautifully decorated it to enhance our ceremony. I liked it more than the original option! Her assistance at our rehearsal, and during the ceremony was also exceptional. We so greatly appreciated her help advising our wedding party and ensuring the ceremony went smoothly. She also always frequently checked on my husband and I during the wedding reception and brought us drinks or anything else we might have needed :) I highly recommend hiring Denise for your special day! We are certainly grateful to have had her as a part of ours.

be trying to find a venue. Denise has worked with so many vendors and sites that she provided excellent recommendations with our aesthetic in mind. Additionally, she’s been part of so many weddings and events, she shared tips and tricks at getting the most out of our money. During the planning process, she was so thorough and detail orientated that I felt completely at ease. Denise also went to bat and advocated for us during various blips and miscommunications that tend to happen during the wedding planning process. On the wedding day, she was on the move the whole night making sure everything was perfect- and it was! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner and coordinator.

oughout my entire planning process, was always available for me to ask questions, and even met me at my venue for a tour many months before our wedding.
At the rehearsal and day-of, she made sure that everything ran smoothly and that the groom and I had no stress or worries! Even through several hiccups (which are bound to happen!) she stayed calm, confident, happy, and handled everything like a pro.
Hiring Denise was definitely one of my best decisions and investments on wedding day, and I would recommend her services to everyone!

get things done. She has amazing connections with wedding vendors and she helped with everything from venue to flowers to cake, DJ, getting blocks of rooms, photographer and then made sure everything went together seamlessly the day of our daughter's wedding. Denise was always available for advice and pep talks. She made us feel like we were her only client. She made sure our day was perfect and that we had as few worries as possible. She even set up our table center pieces, cookie table, memory table, escort cards and everything was beautiful. Her creativity and artistic flair really matched our daughter's vision. I would encourage anyone to use Annie Rose Events for their special day.

are that we hired Denise/Annie Rose Events to be our month-of coordinator for our wedding. I wasn’t convinced we needed a coordinator at first but Denise is 1000% worth it. She gives you a full month of support at a price comparable to other day-of coordinators, and has an excellent team that she works with as well. We had A LOT of issues with our wedding venue, which really escalated in the last month before our wedding and Denise stepped in and managed everything for us seamlessly. The management team at our venue dropped the ball on many different things but Denise and her team stepped in and went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing wedding. If not for Denise and her team, we’re not sure our reception would have come together and it certainly would not have looked as beautiful as it did.
One good piece of advice I was given in wedding planning was that a venue coordinator represents the venue while your own coordinator represents you and your interests. Denise was our advocate throughout a very stressful process and we cannot recommend her highly enough!
Denise was absolutely amazing! She helped me not stress the month leading up to my wedding, was beyond helpful and made everything perfect. Day of she was always checking in on us ...
making sure we felt good and were happy (and hydrated lol). I can’t recommend denise enough, if you’re looking for not only an amazing planner but an amazing person choose her!
There aren't enough words to express how much my entire family loves Denise. Denise walked me, my (now) husband, and our families through every step of the wedding planning process...
.
She toured venues with us, set us up for success with incredible vendors, paid attention to every major and minor detail, understood and implemented our vision, and really became part of the family.
I'm a generally anxious person, but having Denise by my side put my mind at ease. Having her to text, call, or video call with really helped the process go smoothly.
On the day of the wedding, Denise was (literally) running around, making sure everything went off seamlessly. All the while, she checked in on the me (the bride), the groom, the bridal party, and the parents to ensure we were calm and didn't have any more questions.
Denise's knowledge of the wedding industry paired with her connections, and nurturing demeanor make her the perfect wedding planner.
