Andrew Edge on land inherited from his father-in-law, Major John McKaleb. In honor of the McKaleb’s family, the magnificent state was named after their ancestral home of County Antrim, Ireland. After falling in love with the estate's rich history, Dorthy and Richard Mollett purchased the property in 1987. The owners of the property skillfully restored the estate to reflect its original brilliance and opened its doors to guests in 1988. Since the opening, the estate has become renowned for its luxurious accommodation.
