A.Pace Events & Design, while the name is new our history is long. A.Pace Events began as a dream 18 years ago in a small Nebraska town as Dream Big Events, LLC. After a small move to Omaha, Nebraska and 7 years of amazing events we have headed south and moved our home office to the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas in search of warmer weather and new adventures. Don’t worry Midwest Dreamers we are still here to celebrate with you. We have coordinators ready to assist and plan along side you in Nebraska.
Our Owner & Director, Audra Pace- IEWP, began her career 19 years ago as a fun hobby and 3 years of rigorous education and very quickly became a passion. Audra and the team have received several awards through out our career including Top 10 Wedding Planner- 2020 by WeddingRule.com and Three Best Rated from 2017-2021 in Omaha, Nebraska and Dallas/Fort Worth areas.
Focusing on the smallest details of a day and finding inspiration in the little moments our clients share is one of our teams most favorite parts of what we do to create custom and authentic events. We are fortunate enough to have honed our skills through the years and transformed our passion for details and logistics into a diverse career of events including weddings and birthday parties, private events and anniversary parties, galas, corporate meetings and retreats. In 2019 our team had the opportunity to coordinate and be featured in photoshoots for Nebraska Wedding Day Magazine and Wedding Essentials Magazine based in Omaha, Nebraska.

Audra was wonderful! She planned my grad party and was so helpful and made sure things ran smoothly
Audra with Dream Big Events is amazing! Our wedding day(s) were nothing short of eventful! We had to reschedule due to COVID and the day everything shut down, Audra was on the phone with us and emailing to get all of our vendors rescheduled. Then, when my makeup artist cancelled at 2 am the day of my wedding, I called Audra in a panic, she assured me she would get it figured out, and she did. Then when I was sick from food poisoning the day of the wedding and everyone was on edge and not sure what to do, Audra was calm and continued to help us navigate our crazy day. Audra was on top of it all and we would not have been able to do it without her!
We went with the full planning package, and we would do it over again! She helped us every step of the way, from budget planning and keeping us on our timeline to setup and cleaning up our ceremony and reception decor!
I can’t say enough good things about Audra, we will continue to recommend her!
Honestly, my husband and I could not have had a more perfect day and I can say because of Audra I came out of this stress free and so incredibly pleased. Audra, you checked in with me often, addressed addressed issues with vendors so I didnt have to, and we got through 2020 ALIVE! I am forever grateful for your dedication and you always made sure I was level headed in whatever decision I made; you also more importantly made sure the decisions I made were for me and Austin, no one else mattered but us. Hopefully my overly flexible attitude didn’t scare you too much... then again, I’m glad I was that way though because you made everything gorgeous! Our wedding was perfect. I’m an event marketing professional by trade; so it was hard for me at times to not know every single detail but in the end it made the day that much more special. Audra and her team brought our vision to life better than expected. There were times I was nervous, again - because I plan for a living, but I cannot express enough how much we loved and appreciated every detail. I had been told by friends who had wedding planners that you won’t regret it; which is why we did it. Trust those friends!
Audra is amazing! We used her for design development for our wedding and she basically took all my jumbled ideas and inspirations and brought them to life on the big day! I was so overwhelmed with everything that needed to be put together and done leading up to the big day and after meeting with Audra she totally set my mind at ease. Everything came out beautifully!
She was also our day of coordinator which was so well worth it. The day and night ran smoothly and the few hiccups that came up were quickly handled by Audra and her team so that I could focus on the best day of my life! She was available at any moment and had everything we could have needed ready to go! Our friends and family were so impressed with our reception space and still tell us how beautiful it was and what an amazing time they had.
We are so grateful for all of Audra's help and guidance and would definitely recommend her for any of your event planning needs!!
STAY AWAY FROM DREAM BIG EVENTS LLC!
This post is very lengthy because I included dates and I have emails to back everything up. Please save your money and go to someone who cares about making your special day stress free!
I hired Dream Big events LLC for my wedding June 15,2018. I’m just writing this because I deployed exactly a week after my wedding.
I hired Audra the a year before my wedding and paid nearly 3 grand for all her planning services and I truly regret it. I think during that year of working with Audra I lost so much hair from stress,I was nearly balding.
As an active duty military personnel stationed in Alaska (planning for exercises and a deployment) I put my trust in Dream Big LLC thinking they would help me plan my wedding from thousands of miles away. I should’ve known from the beginning When Audra began making excuses for everything and would take up to 2 weeks to reply to my emails. In part I do take blame for being so easy to forgive and being afraid to speak up when I spent thousands of dollars for a service she should have delivered. I was afraid she would jeopardize my wedding if I was firm with her but she ended up jeopardizing it anyways!
If I could go back I never would have hired her. I would have just planned my wedding myself since I practically did anyways. I cried so much during this process. I was so stressed and I felt so taken advantage by Dream Big Events LLC and Audra. I would never recommend this business to any bride!

We worked with Audra and purchased bar tending services from her Al-a-cart. She and her other tender were great. They were fun, yet professional. Our guests had no complaints about the service and neither did we. Audra and Jason stuck around after the party ended to meet up with the clean up crew, as well, which helped my family to leave the venue earlier than planned. I wish I would have gone through Audra for all of my planning - she was a delight!
I was not convinced I needed a wedding planner. My husband was. We live in San Diego and wanted to get married in my dad’s backyard in Stanton, Iowa. I decided that my husband knows me pretty well and that I would at least interview a few wedding planners in the area. Within just a few minutes of speaking with Audra Pace with Dream Big Events, I knew she was the one. She was so personable and professional at the same time. Throughout the entire process, she kept me organized and on budget. I truly felt like I was the only bride she was working with. Audra vetted vendors and attended all vendor meetings for us in Iowa and then gave us the play by play. She really does go above and beyond (i.e., traveling from Omaha, NE to Stanton, IA again and again ). Not only was Audra a blessing to have throughout the wedding planning process, she was an absolute Godsend to have the day of the wedding. As the thunderstorm moved closer and closer to Stanton, I could feel the anxiety of certain family members and guests rise. My anxiety remained nonexistent. I had Audra! Audra already had every contingency place and had a plan to keep all who arrived dry and happy. She even had time to calm the nerves those family members and guests so I didn’t need to. This was the best, she knew what I needed before I did that entire day. As soon as I went to ask for something, she literally had it in hand. This is why you hire Audra Pace at Dream Big Events. Audra’s problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, effective interpersonal skills for family, and genuine smile keep everything running smoothly. Audra gives you the gift of having a stress-free wedding experience. All we needed to do that day was enjoy each other. We could not be happier. Thank you Audra!!!
