Kyle was great! He was prompt and congenial, accommodated a few last minute changes to the play list order, set up equipment outside for the ceremony, and did a great job with the reception dance music.

I want to start off by saying I have NEVER written a bad review about any person or company until now. I am a pretty understanding person and having ran a small business in the past, I understand that things happen and giving grace as a customer is sometimes warranted. This has just gone too far and has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company. This will be a long-winded review because I want to be perfectly transparent about what happened between us and Apogee after booking with them for a wedding DJ/MC. Apogee, Zach specifically was great to deal with up until we gave him a deposit to book a DJ for our wedding. After that, communication all but stopped. We booked the Professional DJ package with a couple of add-ons bringing our total to $1,250 for the event. I asked specifically before booking to meet the DJ who was going to be at our wedding and act as the MC. Zach assured me this would happen after I placed a deposit, it never did. Zach told us that our DJ would be Kyle, but we couldn’t even find a bio of him on Apogee’s website. They had the other DJ’s listed, but none of them named Kyle. We just assumed the website wasn’t up to date. So we knew literally nothing other than a name about our DJ. Kyle sent us one email 2 months later asking to set up a time to chat on the phone. His email went to my junk folder, and I did not see it until a week later. When we responded with dates and times, and an apology for not seeing his email sooner, we got no response back, no phone call, nothing. I have sent numerous emails to Kyle since then and have received no response. We booked with Apogee in early August of 2021 for our wedding in September 2022. As DJ services were booking quickly due to a backlog of weddings from COVID. Since giving Apogee our $400 deposit in August 2021 until now when I am writing this review in February of 2022, we have received 2 total replies from Zach and Apogee. We have not received any type of communication with them in over a month now. Not for lack of trying. We understand our event is not for another 6 months, but all we were asking was to meet our DJ and have him answer a couple of questions about the online form. Trying to plan a wedding is stressful enough, we did not need this type of customer service, or lack thereof to add to it. I sent an email to the company’s main email informing them we needed communication, or we would have to go with another company as things are booking up extremely fast for our wedding day. We just could not trust that they would actually show up on the day of. We of course did not get a reply. I sent them an email terminating our contract on 2/12/22 after one last-ditch phone call went unanswered. We have been forced to go with another DJ purely because we do want or need the added stress this company was going to put on us from lack of communication and just general consideration. As of 2/13/2022- They have kept our $400 deposit and have not attempted to resolve this issue or even contact us to this day. If anything ever does come of this and things change, I will update this review accordingly. For the moment, I HIGHLY recommend NOT booking with Apogee as it will cause undo headaches and stress due to their atrocious communication and customer service. I want to finish this review by adding that I do not enjoy or even want to write this review, but I feel as though our experience is worth sharing for others to consider.

I’m torn on this review. The day of the wedding, apogee was fantastic. The dj and photobooth were a huge hit and definitely added great energy to the celebration. So why the two stars? We planned on going through apogee for floral arrangements. After contacting them for two months with no response, we moved along to another florist and canceled our contract. Emailing and calling from March-may with no response back from Megan or Zach. Moving forward we kept them for photo and dj. When it came time for our final details meeting, Zach didn’t call. So I called, no answer. Sure, it was just a mix up of times and dates on their end but it added so much unnecessary stress three days before the wedding. Communication is a huge issue with this company and i know that I’m not the only bride who has dealt with this from them. So what it comes down to is this. They turned up the party and things were great the day of but planning with them was stressful, I went out of my way too many times to contact them and to never hear back. Unprofessional.

We hired Apogee to do the internet livestream of our wedding (out of country relatives couldn't attend due to covid) and Apogee almost couldn't have done a worse job. - The "set-up" consisted of a couple of iPhones on tripods. - The sound was whatever the iPhones picked up on their tiny internal mics. No collar mic, no handheld microphone, nothing. This was for an outdoor wedding. The sound was mostly ruined. - Lazy. The camera-person never bothered to pan the camera over the guests or at the processional or anything. They just played with their phone for 2 hours while they streamed an empty arbor. - Apogee plasters their logo over your wedding video periodically, giving it a very cheesy "This wedding is brought to you by Pepsi" kind of feel. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more money and hire someone good.

When I started looking for a company to DJ our wedding, I was told to look no further than Apogee. This company really has it together! Their online planning tool is simply AMAZING and I could tell this wasn’t their first rodeo. Allen provided some of the best customer service I have ever received in answering some questions and providing support regarding a unique situation with our wedding, and I knew it would go off without a hitch. I had the pleasure of speaking with our DJ, Greyson, the day before our wedding and I could tell already that he was an awesome fit for our group. Greyson kept us on schedule, worked fabulously with our guests, took care of some last minute changes AND taught us a few moves on the dance floor. The best part? He didn’t lose any steam when 2/3 of our guests left well before the end of the reception. He kept the party going up until the minute we closed things down. Can’t recommend this company enough and can’t wait to work with them again.

We had a great experience with Apogee. We used them for their DJ services, photobooth, and live streaming. The music was perfect throughout the day, and guests loved using the photo booth! We were able to set up live streaming at the last minute due to COVID-19, and they did a great job. We had many compliments from friends who were able to watch it.

If you like to prepare a song list, songs for walking down the aisle etc., and having them completely disregarded, then this is the vendor for you. Something about wearing a white dress makes you believe you could request a song - wrong. MOB request a song - not played. Don’t have the processional song written down and computer updates that hold up your ceremony - check that happened. And it wasn’t a single time occurrence, friend used same vendor the following week, called the owner to express concerns and ensure it wouldn’t happen at their wedding - but they STILL DID. Don’t waste your money.

I walked through the unfinished venue space a few weeks ago with my fiancé & we loved it ! We met the owners & thought we made a great connection. We expressed our enthusiasm about the space & hopes to work with them after discussing our budget. They took our emails with the promise to send over pricing & details, They never did ! It’s a huge disappointment for us. We truly loved the space & hoped to have our big day there.

We are incredibly satisfied with Zach and his team at APOGEE. He was extremely charismatic the first time we met him and took pride in running his business and developing an interactive photo booth. He emphasized that the entertainment is the only thing that wedding guests will remember about the event and he is correct. All our guests could talk about since our wedding is about how much fun they had on the dance floor and how they’ve enjoyed the photo booth. Zach was very flexible and works well with other vendors. There was a couple of adjustments in our schedule and Zach just kept our guests entertained the whole time. We highly recommend that anyone looking for an entertainment team for their wedding look into APOGEE Event Production, we definitely had a memorable evening.

We really enjoyed using Apogee Events for our wedding DJ and photo booth. They were professional, organized, fun to work with, and made the reception flow very smoothly. The photo booth was also fun for guests and Apogee was timely with getting web copies to us as well. Highly recommend!

Allen was the DJ for our wedding and was AMAZING! He kindly respected our requests and made the evening run so smoothly. We also really appreciated that he checked in with us throughout the night. We can't recommend him enough!

We used Apogee for both our DJ and photography services and I'm so glad we did. Greyson was a fantastic DJ and emcee and was enthusiastic and engaging. Randy was our photographer and the photos we got back are gorgeous. I am thrilled with the service we received from Apogee Events.

Allen was a pleasure to work with! Apogee’s online portal was easy to fill out, and we received helpful email reminders as our wedding date approached to ensure we filled out our music requests. A week before the wedding we had a phone call with Allen to talk through our selections and get an overview of what our day would look like, which was super helpful! Allen arrived early the day of our wedding to set up and did an AMAZING job the rest of the night. His energy and professionalism kept our wedding running smoothly. He was also very flexible and accommodating (my sister surprised us with a beautiful song for her toast and the sound was amazing). We had THE BEST dance party and didn’t want the night to end. Thank you, Allen! Side note: We had curated pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner playlists on Spotify and he happily played them for us. When it came time for dancing, Allen did a great job of incorporating our must play songs with his expertise of crowd pleasers to keep everyone on the dance floor. We had so. much. fun.

I am sad to say we were not satisfied with our DJ services from Apogee. We heard great things about them and were excited. They have a great online forum where you fill out all the specifics and I liked how organized it all was. However, when it came time they did not follow through. The music I selected to be played before the ceremony was not played at all and instead the DJ picked other songs, same with the Anniversary Dance. I had a couple specific instructions that were not followed at all. Also, he dismissed our guest tables for the food line before our parent's tables were dismissed. There was an area on the online forum to put our 25 must play songs, but not a SINGLE ONE was played during our reception. During the garter and bouquet toss, as well as with the money dance- there was no announcement on what was happening so most of our guests were outside mingling when he had us do these events. My own parents didn't get to see them because they didn't know he was starting them. I hate to be a downer, but my instructions were not taken into consideration at all, and our family and friends missed out on so many fun memories because nothing was announced.

Zach from Apogee was just a pleasure to work with and knows how to throw quite the party! The planning process was a cinch - the online form was extremely helpful in planning out each song we wanted to play. He was the DJ for our wedding, starting with pre-ceremony through the last song and we could not have had a better experience. The timing of the music was just right during the ceremony, he was a great emcee with the reception, and helped us keep our dance party going for 2.5 hours! He is so kind and perceptive to the crowd and attentive to the bride and groom - I wouldn't have wanted any other DJ for our wedding. Thanks Zach!

Zack was such a pleasure to work with! Always so kind and easy to get a hold of. His website makes it so easy to pick your favorite songs and even customs songs that aren’t on the list! He has plenty of experience and made the process incredibly easy! He reassured us that our songs during our ceremony would be played despite the fact that where we had it had no internet/cell service. We celebrated our big day almost a month ago and our day would not have been possible without Bryan! I truly believe that your DJ is one of the most important parts of your wedding and if you want the best, you need to do your research and find the best fit for you. From our first email until days after our wedding Zach and Bryan were amazing! Quick responses and always willing to answer my questions (there were a ton!) we could not have asked for a better DJ than Bryan. Even in the planning stages he helped me with some of my timeline and processional questions. Bryan was there early and eager to make our day the best day ever! He worked right along side our wedding coordinator and did a fantastic job at MC for the entire day (which is so KEY), made sure things ran smoothly, and got people on their feet! Bryan was so fun and was like having a friend there to DJ. We are so thankful for Bryan and the Apogee team – you cannot go wrong having these guys be a part of your wedding or any special event you may have!

We had the best time with Allen as our DJ. He guided our event with enthusiasm and professionalism. Everything we wanted was executed flawlessly! Everyone loved him and I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Zach to set it all up. If you’re on the fence on the photo booth, DO IT!!!! Such a hit!

Bryan was our wedding DJ from Apogee Events and he was amazing! He showed up early to set up and prepare for the whole day and honestly there was never a time we ever had to think about anything. The setup and sound for the ceremony was perfect and the rest of the evening was great as well! The flow of the music was perfect and we danced the entire night away. I am so thankful we had Bryan for our wedding, he was great to work with.

Highly recommend Apogee Events. From the DJ to the photo booth to the lights, all of it! Allen was an amazing DJ! He was on the spot for everything, extremely friendly, helpful and patient! He was so fun and got the crowd going! The photo booth was a crowd pleaser! Even my grandmother was loving it. We loved the open photo booth experience. You could see who was in there and people would just jump right in. It was one of the highlights of the night!

Now while he hasn’t performed at our wedding yet, Zach has been nothing but professional and forward with us. I emailed Zach about information from his company and he replied within 24 hours settivg up a face to face meet within the week. A day before our meeting, Zach emailed and texted me a confirmation for our appointment. I responded to both asking if we could push it back 30 minutes do to some work problems on my end. He gladly agreed and our meeting went great! We immediately booked him the next day for our weddigg coming up in July. Within a day, Zach emailed me the contract, the invoice, and our account for settig up playlists. On the invoice i noticed a small error for our deposit that didn’t reflect a discount we discussed (weekday booking). He apologized and sent me the new invoice. After mailing my check, 3 days later i emailed asking if he had recieved it. He replied the next day saying he just deposited it. Sure enough, the next day, it was out of my account. I read some of these ither reviews and they blow my mind. Saying Zach was impossible to get ahold of and unresponsive. In all of our planning, my fiance and i haven’t had anyone more responsive than Zach. He hasn’t DJed for us yet but Imve already recommended him to friends and family. Sydney and I are extremely excited to work with Zach and we can’t wait for our wedding! BEST PARTY EVER!!

Zach is a good friend of mine and I have known him for about 11 years now. So he was an obvious choice for bringing the fun and magic to my wedding. Zach was unbelievably organized. He sent me suggested songs for every dance one could dream up. He was fun, energetic and did a great job engaging our guests! It was clear Zach was having a great time and loves what he does. I cannot say enough good things about this business, and will continue to recommend Apogee to my closest friends, family and all those in between. Well done Apogee!

Zach is professional, organized, and helpful! For our wedding he helped to coordinate things like audio, lighting and the playlist, but he also helped smooth the flow and organization of the ceremony itself! He knew how to plan and think of things that I did not even know to consider. He works hard to make each experience individualuzed. I can and do highly recommend him to friends and family!

I have not only attended 4-5 events where Apogee Events DJ’ed, but they ran the show at our wedding this last June. I have had the pleasure to work with both Zach and Allen who catered to every need flawlessly. Our wedding day was extremely warm, but they made sure the party stayed alive! I highly recommend them for any event entertaining. They won’t disappoint!

This company was a complete waste of money. The DJ was terrible and killed the reception. We should have saved the money and made the playlist ourself. We put our money down months before the wedding and I am pretty sure they completely forgot about us. They never sent an invoice and hired a DJ 2 days before wedding. The DJ was very clearly not experienced and quite possibly never been to a wedding before. Unless you are hiring a DJ for a college party I would not recommend them at all. We received several complaints from guests

Wonderful DJ service! Zach played for our event, and the music was perfect. My guests were dancing all night long. Prompt with responses, and on the day of, Zach was even running and grabbing drinks for the bridal party from the reception bar. He even before hand met with the bridal party to ensure he had the correct pronunciation of all their names. Above and beyond service, incredibly happy and would highly recommend them to anyone for their wedding!

They did such a great job! I was really happy with the music selected and the DJ's job overall controlling the flow of the evening.

Zach recently DJed at our wedding this last weekend. He was great! Professional, fun, and had a calming presence. He worked with our timeline, kept great communication and knew all the music to get our crowd up and dancing. Couldn't be happier with Apogee

This company screwed us over. I met a DJ at the Portland Wedding Expo in September by the name of Alan who my fiancé and I talked extensively with about our New Years Eve wedding. He agreed to our date, gave us the contract, advised us if the deposit and pricing details which we agreed to, and he took down our information. We told him we could pay the deposit then and there but he had no way to take it. He said he would call us to let us know when he could meet us to plan the timeline for our wedding, collect the deposit the contract, and pick music. We NEVER got the call. I called every week for two months, left two voicemails, sent multiple emails I never got a response to, and finally got ahold of Zach about a month and a half before our wedding and was informed that not only was the DJ we spoke with booked, but they had nobody who could work our event and since I didn't give them the contract or pay the deposit, they had no obligation to us. He even saw the emails he didn't respond to and acknowledged that he "must have overlooked them" but couldn't do anything to help us. He told me to call around and see if anyone else could DJ for us but they'd be more expensive. He refused to take any responsibility. I asked if they would be willing to pay the difference in pricing for another company to do the exact same thing they promised (as it is such short notice and such a sought after date there are a lot of extra charges we'll get now) and he refused. I would NEVER recommend anyone to do business with this company. They do not stick to their word and are unwilling to right THEIR wrongdoings.

Zach filled in for my DJ who had to step out last minute due to personal reasons and he said Zach was one of four people he would trust to fill in. I now see why. Zach is not only an amazing DJ but also an amazing Emcee! He is incredibly friendly and obviously loves what he does because it shows. He made the night with the music and announcing all the events throughout the night. I'm thrilled he was our DJ and wouldn't have had it any other way. You won't regret your choice!!

Zach at Apogee was so much fun to work with! He was the DJ at my best friend's wedding a year and a half ago and as soon as we got engaged we knew we wanted him for outs. The online tools are so easy to use and he was easy to get a hold of if we had any questions since we were coming from out of town. We did not have a coordinator there the day of the wedding but with his organization we didn't need one, he kept us moving along and everyone was on the dance floor all night starting even before the dinner. We added a photo booth and they did an amazing job, everyone loved using it and the attendant was a trooper, he was even pulled in with some of the family for photos! I would highly recommend Zach and his team for anyone needing a DJ!

We had Allen DJ our wedding. The wedding day was the day we met him, but it didn't matter because he knew what we needed! He did a great job of keeping the party going and feeling the songs and the people on the dance floor. He was interactive with everyone and made some phenomenal suggestions (playing "I'm on a boat" is a sure fire way to get people riled up at a wedding apparently). And he knew that my dad needed country music, but only 1 in 10 songs. Everyone we talked to at Apogee was great, Zach was our preliminary contact. They also have this great online tool that you can input your requested songs, and also the timeline of the wedding. We had a bunch of fun sitting around picking songs for it. They also record the ceremony for you which is awesome for later since we didn't get a videographer and we had a mistakenly hilarious ceremony.

The set up looked great and was so much fun for our guests! The picture quality was excellent and guests were able to take home a photo strip. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. They provided us with a flash drive of all of the photos, which is a great keepsake.

My sister had Zach DJ her wedding a few years ago, and he did such a great job, I made sure to book him early for mine! His website makes it easy to request songs and plan the flow of the wedding. He made my reception run smoothly and kept everyone on the dance floor. Thank you so much!!

I honestly cannot say enough about Zach and his team...but if I could only choose one word it would be phenomenal. Not only are the packages they offer the best value we found...they are so helpful and go above and beyond. They quickly answered the million and one questions we had, had excellent communication both before, during, and after our wedding, and offered something worth its weight in gold...peace of mind. Right from the first communication Zach put me at ease, and he even helped us find our wedding officiant when our first one backed out a month before our wedding. The sound for both our ceremony and reception was clear and just loud enough. Zach is a great crowd reader and kept our evening flowing with great music and the timing of our different activities. Hire them. You will not regret it. Seriously. You really should. The DJ for my wedding was good! He had easy and helpful planning forms for all the songs and special events in the reception and ceremony. He even adapted well to the environment and situations we had at our wedding, such as a power outage. Our DJ played a lot of upbeat and fast songs once the traditional dances/songs were played. However, I felt like he didn't play hardly any of the songs I put up on his planning website. Which was somewhat of a disappointment. However, I guess my groom wanted a raging dance party, so my groom got his wish. I just felt like the planning of the songs I wanted to play was a waste of time if he wasn't going to play them. He was good at reading the crowd though, and I know many guests had a great time dancing! I just wish there was at least a few slow songs.

Zach was awesome! He got everyone out and dancing and followed our song list fabulously! We couldn't have asked for a more professional guy to do that job. I've worked with Zach on several events now, and he always shows up on time, is patient answering questions and loves what he is doing.
