reschedule my trial and when I was having an issue getting my payment to her. Susan and Myriam both came to my apartment for our services and did a great job. They took feedback from everybody and made sure we were all happy. We started at 9 and ended at 1:45, and in total they completed 8 hair services and 6 makeup services.

(again, not the stylists) was awful. She took weeks to reply and when she did, it did not address all the questions. I had my trial and then reached out the next day to see what the next steps were. She took 2 weeks to get back to me! I would respond, and then it would take another couple of weeks to get an answer. I asked numerous times to get the contact info of the people who would be doing hair and makeup day of in case something were to come up and she refused, which stressed me out because her communication was awful. Day of rolls around, the makeup artist shows up on time but the hair stylist did not. Come to find out the hairstylist was never given the updated schedule by the owner of the company. So I called the owner and just as I feared, she didn't respond. Thank God the makeup artist had the stylist's phone number otherwise she would have shown up 1.5 hours late. My overall summary, the makeup artist and hair stylist were amazing at their jobs but working with Appease was super stressful and frustrating due to the awful communication. The prices are decent but again, do you really want to be stressed the whole time about whether or not the owner will respond to you in time?? And, the owner never even reached out to apologize or anything. There's definitely better management out there.

Then we finally scheduled the trial for May 11 at 11 AM. Then 3 days before the trial, they asked if we could move the trial back to 4 PM because they double booked themselves. Then, on the day of the trial at like 3 PM, they told me they were running late and would be there at 4:30. We waited in an empty studio until someone finally showed up at 4:40. Then, honestly, the hair and makeup was not very good. Very disappointing that I wasted almost 2 months.

However, while the quality of service provided by Appease was outstanding, I do feel compelled to mention that there were some instances where communication fell short. There were times when it was challenging to reach Carrie or receive timely responses to my inquiries, which led to some minor frustrations and uncertainties leading up to the big day. Overall, I highly recommend Appease for anyone seeking professional hair and makeup services.

Also, our wedding party was primarily family - when it came time to actually leave for the ceremony we did not have enough hands to help. Susan went above and beyond and carried my wedding dress train to the car so it would not get dirty or wrinkled - truly dedicated service!!

G, so it was a no brainer that I was going to go with Carrie and her team when it came time for my own wedding! I was an anxious bride and Carrie was so wonderful in helping keep me calm with our timeline! She and her team showed up early for hair and makeup to make sure that we stayed within the timeline, everyone was professional, and fun to spend the day with! I'm not kidding when I say that people came up to me and told me how gorgeous everyone's hair and makeup looked, including mine! Everyone looked GORGEOUS! My hair and makeup was EXACTLY what I wanted, my mom, now mother in law, sisters, and the rest of my bridal party were all so happy with our hair and makeup! atural looks that were shown to them in pictures, requests for "natural" makeup was not at all respected - the only false lashes available were massive lashes so we went to Sephora to buy reasonably sized false lashes - not all artists were able to work with natural curls without just straightening them, this was very disappointing - not all artists were willing to make changes to fit the styles that women wanted, so many women resulted to redoing hair/makeup after the artists left Using this company resulted in unnecessary stress for me, my family members, and my bridesmaids on my wedding day and unfortunately, I would not recommend them.

The trail went smoothly and allowed me an opportunity to get to know the lead stylists before the wedding day. I took notes afterward the trial and was able to adjust parts of my hair and make-up style for the actual day. I had a fairly large bridal party of 11 people including myself, bridesmaids, and mothers, most who had both hair and make-up appointments. For anyone with a larger party like me, I would highly recommend booking additional stylists to help make the day go smoothly. We had 4 stylists (2 hair, 2 make-up) and we finished in 3 hours for 11 people! On the morning of the wedding day, all stylists showed up on time and ready to go! They were very professional and helped create a calm atmosphere for me. We had created a schedule ahead of time, but the stylists were flexible to take some appointments early and adjust as we were going along. My bridal party were very complimentary of their final looks and how smooth the getting ready process was for the morning! This was really important to me as I wanted to have a calm start to my day and Appease did an amazing job! Thank you so much for making our day so great!

et it all done in 5 hours and guess what, she didn’t finish and I was still charged. We were supposed to be done at 12:45 and out the door by 1:15. She didn’t start my makeup until noon and there were still 2 bridesmaids to go. The makeup artist blamed being behind on my eyes tearing and even lied saying my makeup took double the time it did. 1 bridesmaid only had time to have lashes put on and the other wasn’t done at all and they won’t refund them. I missed a lot of pictures I wanted at my house because I was still getting makeup done and we got to the church at 2 right when the ceremony was supposed to start. There was so many things that went wrong simply because the makeup artist was behind and it’s very disheartening the least the company could do is refund my 2 bridesmaids and myself for this. The owner was rude in her response to me and they don’t care about anything that went wrong in the hands of their own employees. Do yourself a favor and find a company that will follow through with your paid services and make it right if they’re not able to complete your services.

The morning of the wedding unfortunately took a turn for the worst when the makeup artist ran out of time to complete her services. Coming close to the time indicated that we needed to head to the church, the makeup artist still had not gotten to me, another bridesmaid, the mother of the bride, and the bride herself. The MOTB and the bride’s makeup were pushed before myself and the other bridesmaid to ensure that they could be completed. Fast forward to only 30 mins remaining, the makeup artist was just getting started on the bride, so I approached her to ask if I need to start my own makeup because she was behind by 2 girls and the trolley would be here to get us soon. Upon asking that, I asked about receiving a refund if opted to do my own makeup, and she very rudely told me I was putting her behind more and that I needed to call the company to get the refund.. I then, in a panic, had to rush to do my own makeup to stand up as my best friends Maid of Honor in her wedding. The other bridesmaid was thankfully able to get her makeup done while the rest of us did our first look pictures with the bride, of which she was left out of most, and had to run into a few shots with half-done makeup :( We let a couple days pass by before reaching out to avoid stressing out the bride on her honeymoon. The bride emailed Appease explaining what had happened. The owner, Carrie, responded with no apology, and said that there were “circumstances” outside of the makeup artists control that detoured the timeline, and that there was a contract in place where it states that there are no refunds. She then offered a service credit of $100 with their company (which is less than what was paid for the service). I then reached out to advise her that I paid out of pocket to get my own hair and makeup done for this wedding, and that a service credit wouldn’t be useful or practical as I live in Texas- No response since, even after many follow up emails. Obviously it’s upsetting that this occurred, but it did occur to no fault of my own, and this company is not being responsive or accommodating. This really set the morning off to a stressful and disappointing start for all of us, and I would strongly advise Bride’s to find another service to use for your special day. Things happen! But customer service and catering to your clients is a huge part of providing a service- please do better Appease2you.
