I’ve had the pleasure of working with Peter on several events over the years, but having him DJ our wedding was an entirely different level of amazing! Peter is not only incredibly...
talented but also so kind and thoughtful. His attention to detail is unmatched—his music questionnaires are thorough and really allow you to customize your wedding playlist to fit your exact taste, rather than offering a generic mix. It was so refreshing to have music that truly reflected *us*.
Since we didn’t have a wedding coordinator, Peter went above and beyond. He helped me review our timeline, offered helpful suggestions from his experience, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the day, making sure we stayed on track.
Peter’s kindness shines through in everything he does. He genuinely cares about making sure your event is perfect. As a surprise bonus, he even created the sweetest highlight reel of our wedding day, which was such a thoughtful touch that I wasn’t expecting at all!
If you’re looking for a DJ who will make your wedding day run seamlessly, deliver an amazing playlist, and genuinely care about your event, Peter is your guy. I can’t recommend him enough!
We LOVE Araiza Events! From the professional demeanor to the excellent setting of the vibes, Peter and team made our wedding magical. Peter also took initiative by offering their ...
audio services for our ceremony, which made a huge difference as we didn't consider that we wouldn't have a team at the venue to help us. Audio was PERFECT. Peter, thank you again! We hope to cross paths with Araiza events soon.
From our first contact with Peter, we were impressed with his responsiveness and helpfulness. He is so knowledgable about the entire wedding planning process and actual event imple...
mentation. He provided a guide for us to choose specific songs for various parts of the ceremony and reception and, when asked, provided a great variety of songs we could choose from. He went beyond our expectations by providing special tips on the wedding day that made it even more special, like how to make a fun grand entrance and cut the cake. He paid attention to every detail, making sure that the right music was playing at the right volume at the right time. He provided microphones for the ceremony and speeches and worked with our violinist to choose the right version of songs for her to accompany. Peter is not only a professional DJ, he's a professional when it comes to how to run the entire event. We discussed our wishes beforehand and he took care of it all so that we could enjoy our special day. I hope that if and when our other sons get married, we can work with he and his company again.
A good DJ is critical as they set the schedule and atmosphere of the wedding.

ist we wanted and to go over the schedule. On the day of he ran the wedding like butter and made it a lively, easy-going, and fun time for everyone.
From giving pointers on the first dance to taking video and putting together a reel for us we were blessed by Peter’s care and attention to detail.
Thank you Peter!
For our wedding, we knew we wanted a photo booth. Our venue included one, but the time was limited and the backdrops they offered were not that great. My husband and I know Peter f...
rom the salsa scene but Araiza Events was recommended to us by our friends who hired them for a different service for their wedding earlier that year. I contacted Peter through Facebook Messenger on September 5th 2024 to inquire about his Photo Booth Services. He got back to me the same day and gave me more information as well as his number so that we could chat more.
During our call, he gathered some information like the date of our wedding and location. He then wrote up a proposal and emailed it over.
The proposal looked great but I did email him back with a few questions. A few days went by and I still hadn't heard from him so I messaged him on FB messenger. For some reason anytime I sent an email, it would fail so our communication from then on was either through FB messenger, text or call. There were a few services that we were interested in but with our budget, we had to go with the more affordable package. Peter was so amazing and made it all work out. We were happy with our choice to say the least.
Once we paid the deposit, we had access to the site where we answered a questionnaire. We got to describe the vibe of our wedding as well as pick our backdrop. This was then used to customize the boarder for our pictures as well as the photo that was used as the START screen of the photo booth.
Peter was so great in accommodating where were wanted him located during the wedding. Since cocktail hour would be outside, we wanted the first location to be outside and then move the photo booth inside for the remainder of the night. During our Wedding Rehearsal, I took pictures of the locations where he could set up outside and he could choose what worked best.
He said he did not require any equipment as he would bring every thing he needed including props. If we wanted to, we could provide a sign for the table.
On the day of the wedding, Peter knew exactly where to go and what to do since our communication was so clear from the start. Of course nothing ever goes exactly according to plan at a wedding. The photo booth was set up outside as we had discussed and a few guest were able to use it before the ceremony started. Towards the ends of the ceremony it began to rain so we made the decision to move cocktail hour inside to the reception area. Peter was already on top of it and had started moving his equipment inside.
He was very attentive at the Photo booth helping guest take the photos as well as making sure that everyone was captured in the shot. We also had the Virtual Photo Booth (Thank you Peter!) where guest could scan a QR code and use their phones to take selfies and boomerangs. This was such a fun idea and we had access to it the night before so we were able to take some pictures at the Rehearsal Dinner as well as when we were getting ready. Peter printed QR code cards that guest could scan and start taking pictures which would then be uploaded to an album. I think the key for the virtal photobooth to work successfully is if the QR code cards are placed at each guest table. Also the card had 2 sides. One code was for the virtual photo booth and the other was to access the album. I believe our guest got a little confused with the codes even though it said what each one was for. (Drunk people don't want to read, they just want things to work).
The turnaround time to get the photos was so quick, just 2 days after the wedding. Unfortunately some of the videos our guest took had poor sound quality due to the music. Fortunately Peter is awesome at what he does and for the video compilation, he was able to fix the audio so that we could hear what our guest had to say.
All in all this goes to show how thorough and experienced Peter is working weddings. We appreciate all his work and we'll be hiring him for any of our next events. 10 out of 10, would highly recommend.
There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am to Peter and Jenny for being a part of our wedding last month. When other vendors seemed to cause nothing but stress during...
the planning process, Peter and Jenny brought a peace and calm feeling that I desperately needed! Their communication was great and they were a huge help the day of. They were there early to set up and helped with anything we needed.
Jenny was amazing as our coordinator and had everything planned down to the minute. She made sure everything stayed on schedule but stayed cool and calm while doing it.
Peter was the perfect DJ/MC. We provided some playlists to show him the vibe we wanted and he ran with it. Our guests could not stop talking about how great the music was!
And I can't forget to mention the photo booth! All of our guests loved playing around with the different props and we loved the video guestbook. They also have a bunch of different options for the background so you can coordinate with your theme!
If you need a DJ, coordinator, photobooth, or all of the above, you definitely need Araiza Events!
We were completely over the moon with having booked Araiza Events for our wedding!
Their DJ and MC service was phenomenal!! Transitions were flawless, the atmosphere during dinner...
was exactly what we wanted, and the celebration at the end of the night was absolutely unforgettable. DJ even worked together with our closest friends to "surprise celebrate" the groom on the dance floor, our favorite part of the night! Haha
We wanted 2 songs for our First Dance and DJ Peter was able to create a beautiful blend of the songs for us and even sent it to us ahead of time to practice, so thankful for that!
Our wedding was at the Knollwood Country Club so we were dealing with over 100degree weather. DJ Peter had a portable fan to keep me fresh while outside taking pictures, so thoughtful and helpful on a busy day.
If you are thinking of booking do yourself a favor and book! We will definitely be reaching out for future events!!

e, and it was such a hit! Everyone loved the boomerangs and the fun props. Peter was always available when we needed him, and on our wedding day, when I noticed some guests weren’t being directed properly, I gave him a quick call so he could assist in a making an announcement to our guests…and he jumped into action without hesitation. Lifesaver!!! He is incredibly down to earth, approachable, and truly dedicated to making your day special. I highly recommend Araiza Events for your wedding! He will make sure everything runs smoothly and that your guests have an incredible time! I know mine were, seeing everyone dancing.
My husband and I just got married last week and we had Araiza Events for our DJ, MC and Photobooth and let me tell you, best decision ever! Peter was extremely helpful and gave man...
y great suggestions/ideas for our reception. He even gave us a discount on the DJ services and photo booth because our wedding was a lunchtime wedding! He helped make our wedding so much fun and got our guests excited and in it! He even came to check in with us during the reception and was so kind and helpful to us! He made every detail that I wanted possible and so many people after were telling us how much they loved the DJ and Photobooth! I even loved how after the wedding, he posted amazing videos of our special day. Peter, we cannot thank you enough! Love, The Suazo’s

sure that I did not worry. It was only after the wedding did I find out that she had to cover for the dj as well. I had to hand pick every single song and organize them into playlists and even then the dj I hired couldn’t do his job. But Jenny stepped in and the music was flawless. Even when the mc did not follow Jenny timeline, was unprepared, and was late, Jenny always updated me and checked in with me the entire time. I would do my wedding again with Jenny by my side. I felt like I had her protecting me and taking care of me the entire time. Thank you so much Jenny!!
The short version of this review is that you should hire Peter and Araiza Events. You will be beyond happy with your decision if you do, trust me.
The long version of this review ...
goes back to about 13 months before our wedding, when we were in the process of booking the venue. On the venue coordinator’s desk were several flyers and I grabbed ones for DJ and officiant before we left. I reached out to the DJ, Peter Araiza, a few weeks later and we scheduled a time to talk. My (now) husband insisted that the DJ and creating a great vibe for the reception were among his top 3 must have, most important things for our event. I didn’t expect to dance all that much, but I went along with him because love.
We had a great first meeting with Peter, who talked about his experience at the venue (extensive – like half or more of his bookings the prior year had been there) and how things would work if we booked him. Tom and I agreed that we got a good feeling from Peter and we signed a contract. Fast forward to about a month before the wedding. Holy moly, where did the time go? I was panicking because suddenly we had a lot to do and it felt like not a lot of time to do it. Peter reached out and we started working on playlists. And then he did something that was super clutch that I never would have asked for, didn’t realize how much I needed, and am beyond grateful he offered. He noted that we didn’t have a day of coordinator and asked if we needed help creating our timeline. And from that point on, I was in such good, capable hands.
I’ll fast forward to the event itself, because this is getting long. But that day, Peter and his team made our event…well, beyond fabulous, truly memorable, everything we could have wanted and more…none of those statements feel like they are doing justice to what I want to convey. I said this in an email to Peter a couple days after our wedding: he and his team really made our wedding and reception a true celebration. We felt so cared for and so heard. He offered ideas, guidance, direction. The whole event flowed so seamlessly. Sunday (our wedding day) really was one of the absolute best days of our lives and Peter played a very large part in it.
We added a photobooth to our package and boy was that a hit amongst our guests. I love that we received a link to all of the digital images, which were both still pictures and boomerangs (GIFs). Oh! And Peter asked if it was ok for his in-house videographer to shoot some reel for us. This wasn’t in our contract, this wasn’t something I even knew about. We didn’t hire anyone to do video at the wedding. But you know what? That reel from James Rios was gorgeous and such a gift.
I said already that I didn’t expect to dance all that much at the reception, but you know what? I did. I danced my butt off because Peter created a great party that made everyone want to celebrate. And that is what you will get if you book with Araiza Events. A real celebration.
Peter and his team were friendly, helpful, and professional from start to finish. I appreciated our meetings and communications pre-wedding, especially in helping us to figure out ...
what we wanted. Most importantly, everything day of the wedding was absolutely fantastic! The music was well put together, and we were so happy to see all our friends and family on the dance floor all night long. We also purchased up lights and Photo Booth printing, and both turned out fantastic. The lighting around the room and during dancing was so lovely! Our friends and family had so much fun with the Photo Booth, and the printed photos went into our guestbook which turned out super cute! We could not have asked for a better DJ and overall experience from Araiza Events.
This review is long overdue but here goes—
We had our wedding back in October and got quotes and sent emails back and forth from about a dozen DJs. We knew right away when we talk...
ed to Peter on the phone that he was the right fit for us and our wedding. Not only are his rates competitive but dang what an incredibly nice/chill human being.
Hiring Peter and his team was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. He kept our evening on track without ever making us feel pressured, he checked in with us throughout the evening to ensure we were having a good time, but most importantly he played all the bangers we requested all night long and kept the vibe up the whole evening. Overall a great communicator and all around good guy who really helped get our bridal party going and energized leading up to the grand entry. Even months after our wedding our friends have continued to tell us how impressed they were with our DJ and the music.
Also, while I think we were his last students as he was phasing out this service, we also hired him to teach us how to move to our first dance song. My fiancé and I have two left feet but with Peter’s help (and his awesome wife too!) I can say we looked pretty darn good out there!
In any case, we highly recommend Araiza Events for DJ/MC services. Peter is worth every penny.

ts really joyed the photobooth for the boomerang, gif and photo options. We really liked that it was all digital and updated live so guests could view the photobooth album live. We highly recommend Araiza Events for your next special event.
Peter DJ-ed, MC-ed & did the lighting at our wedding. He did a phenomenal job, and we were super happy that we went with Araiza Events. Peter went above & beyond to make sure that ...
our reception program went exactly as planned. As a dancer myself, we had multiple performances during the reception with custom mixes, and specific instructions of when to cue the music as well as how to announce each speech and performance. Peter nailed every single item. Peter was so helpful as to help us provide suggestions for our grand entrance set up the dance floor in an ideal way to accommodate the best viewing of the performances for the guests. On the day of the reception, Peter also sent us photos of the layout and reception set up while we were at the wedding so that I could have peace of mind that everything was where it was supposed to be (since the first time I would be seeing the Reception set up would be when we walked in for our entrances). As an MC, Peter was super energetic and entertaining. He knew exactly how to get the guests hyped up before each item in the reception program. Peter also brought a 2nd person on the team to assist who was super helpful as well.
As a Bride, planning a wedding is already super stressful, so hiring an MC & DJ that knows what they are doing and that will go above and beyond to help you feel comfortable is super important. Peter also has an incredible and personable personality that makes him super easy to work with. We would hire Araiza events for our future events in a heartbeat.
My experience with Araiza Events was nothing short of amazing. Peter and his team came to me with great recommendation, not only from my venue, but also from my day-of-coordinator....
I immediately followed them Araiza Events on social media and could immediately see from the events posted how lively, attentive, and professional Peter was at every event. I booked him shortly after for DJ/MC and photo booth services. Every communication leading up to our wedding was nothing short of great. He was always quick to respond with any questions or concerns I had. His questionnaires were easy to navigate to get to know our music taste and to make sure it was what WE wanted for our special day (As a former music major, I thought I included way too many details, which Peter assured me it was the right amount for the day). Thank you so so much again Peter & Alex for making sure our special day was the BEST day ever! Our guests raved on about how wonderful the music, MC, and photobooth was for days after!

ible and worked within our budget, and from the first phone call with him, I felt that things would go really well! He was so friendly and professional! He turned out to be the best DJ we could have dreamed of!
Months prior to the wedding, we asked Peter if he could help shorten our first dance song. He quickly emailed us back two different shortened versions he created of the song – both great! He shared his preference for one version over the other, which matched our preference and made us feel even more reassured. Within a month before the wedding, I asked Peter to edit my ceremony entrance song; he did this as well and it was exactly what we had envisioned.
On our wedding day, Peter and his assistant showed up super early and threw the best party we could have dreamed of! He used the songs we wanted, added some great extra songs, and mixed everything in the perfect order! He was also a great MC and his voice sounded like it was made for this job!
He also personalized the photo booth he provided for us with a display of us and an overlay that matched our wedding colors and theme. It was exactly what we wanted! Even the reels he made and shared on Instagram after our wedding were super cool!
I would recommend Araiza events to anyone getting married or needing DJ/ photobooth services to make their event awesome! We’re grateful to Peter and his team for making our wedding exactly what we wanted!

put Peter under the ringer with not confirming our playlist, as I spent every last second adding every song I could think of, and he just executed it with such care, talent, and genuine appreciation for what he does. We want to have an event, just so Peter can DJ it! The production he put on and brought with him to the venue was above expectations, and he truly is such a great partner to work with. We appreciate and thank him so much, and you best not hesitate on hiring him for your night of fun, love and togetherness.

d our wedding and was an expert collaborator. We wanted to use some playlists of our own making and he helped to execute all of those from prelude all the way thru to reception/dancing. His setup for our ballroom was perfect. The lights, the sound equipment, and, we additionally booked a Photo Booth. All of them were a huge hit. My wife and I cannot thank Peter enough for making our day go exactly as we had envisioned it. Peter was affordable already in comparison to other services but worthy ever single cent.

Everything I spent months planning was not in vain and he really pulled everything together seamlessly when other parts of the reception were not going according to plan. He was literally our superhero.
He was an absolute pleasure to work with and I recommend him 500% percent to anyone and everyone that wants to have an awesome wedding with music and themes specially catered just for them. It will be one of the best decisions you'll ever make!

requests about the program). He goes above and beyond our requests too. My guests were around 80-100 people and I honestly did not expect much response from my guests but with Peter’s help, I was surprised how my audience was able to enjoy the whole night. From beginning of the program until the end of the dance party. My guests even wanted to continue the night but we are over the allotted time for the venue. I can tell that all my guests enjoyed the whole night. Overall, it was a great experience working with Peter and he has very reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend him.

ge the entire event was what stood out the best. Peter helped us develop an entire timeline before the wedding which helped me tremendously since I wasn’t really sure how to run the reception. He helped keep us and the vendors on time. He also made sure that everyone was doing what they needed to without bothering me. He kept reminding me to just enjoy myself. It was so incredibly helpful! Our photographer was so impressed too. Peter clearly has a lot of experience and passion for weddings. I’m so glad I chose Araiza Events. They truly made all the difference.

wedding on 11/12/22 and it was literally the best day of my life. I honestly wish I had another reason to use a DJ and when I do, I know who I’m going to call! He used to be a wedding planner so he’s extremely familiar with the process flow AND to top it off he is also a dance instructor! You will not find a more qualified, kind, and enthusiastic DJ than Peter. FYI his Photo Booth is a MUST - it was so fun and everyone loved it!!
The pictures and boomerangs came out great and working with the team went smoothly and they were fantastic!

Checking sound and setting up so that he wasn’t scrambling the day of the event. The sound for the event was perfect. The lighting for the reception was beautiful and our guests were dancing the entire time! Peter understood our music taste and was able to read the guests and keep them dancing. His equipment is also top of the line, which makes a difference in sound quality. Breakdown was fast and easy. We have absolutely no complaints. Hire him. You’ll be happy you did.

ional wedding especially it being at our home and in our back yard. But after meeting with Peter, he really helped us beyond belief! From filling out a worksheet with everything from what songs we liked and disliked to timelines of the event and names of parents, wedding party to special people. I had no idea how important these things are! If it wasn’t for Peter who would have known how the event would have turned out. We gave him a playlist and he put it all together added a few and made our day so much fun! Everyone we talked to has mentioned how much fun the wedding was and it was in large part to the dancing and music. He kept the music mixed up so perfect that I had to sit for a min to regain my breath. then back to the dance area for more fun! Also I need to mention the lighting that was placed throughout our backyard made everything so magically perfect. Peter, you kicked butt and I’ll never forget how amazing you are! You’ll always get my referrals and definitely use you again for any other event!

n, Peter made us feel completely at ease. Peter is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and was there every step of the way. My husband and I were overwhelmed in some of the aspects of wedding planning, but Peter was always a call away. He is incredibly thoughtful in suggesting suit shops, wedding shoes, music and so much more during this process. Peter went above and beyond and made sure the event ran smoothly and kept our guests dancing all night. We could not have asked for a better DJ. Our friends and family absolutely love you.
Thank you Peter and Araiza Events. You were more than a DJ, you were a friend to us through this journey. We appreciate you and everything you did for our wedding!
I would say that Araiza events definitely stick by their motto of more than just a Dj. We were blessed to have Peter work with us because not only did we get a great Dj but we got ...
a wedding coordinator and so much more all wrapped up in one. Peter has shown nothing but genuine interest in our story and event being taken place in addition to showing professionalism that was beyond compare. From day one peter brought up plenty of ideas and questions that an engaged couple did not think of such as lighting and events during the wedding i.e. shoe game /garter removal. He took it to a different level when he introduced his google form that was so detailed from songs to dance to to songs not to dance to, entrance songs. If Araiza events had a magic sauce that form would be the recipe. Peter was very flexible when it came down to meeting times and also songs of choice as I wanted a medley for the first dance. I gave him the cues and everything went smoothly. He was always honest and upfront with us if something can or can’t be done or would come off bad for example my original idea for garter removal could’ve been taken as insulting my new wife. However peter gave me a different perspective and im glad I changed my plans.
On the day of the event peter was the best friend i needed on the other side. Meanwhile my best man/best friend helped me take care of decorations and ensuring my daughters and their nanny were taken care of, Peter ensured i was taken care of from making sure i had utensils to ensuring I had some food in my stomach. He was my rock reminding me to breathe and ensuring no matter the chaos / party bus arriving late / people showing up early / running out of time for the open bar / that everything will turn our great and it did.
On top of everything his DJ skillset is amazing. He guided us to make playlists and he incorporated some of my favorite songs during the cocktail hour and dinner. Many times I found myself singing along to songs or catching guests singing with me. These were times where I was going to request a song and before I can even step towards Peter the song is already on. He found and used songs that weren’t not available on streaming services to use for the mother son dance. For the last song my wife and I requested a song that isn’t common however as it was on our playlist it was ready to go. That created a special moment of drunken bliss that will never be forgotten.
Id like to thank Peter and Araiza events for giving me and my wife such a beautiful event to which we will cherish in our memories forever. I hope to get lucky and have him for every vow renewal / wedding / baptism /sweet 16 any event i can get him for.
Peter came into our wedding with a very late notice of about 3 weeks prior to our wedding. He was very responsive and assertive when he needed information. I mean this in a good wa...
y, because with weddings there is a lot of planning and a lot of movement. Peter was very involved and active in the whole process and he did an amazing job at our wedding. We are very particular with our music selection, and amazingly (unsurprisingly I’m sure), Peter went above and beyond during the wedding. We had people dancing all night, and we had many compliments from our guests on the music selection. Peter really made the whole night flow very smoothly and he was extremely patient, calm, and confident. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ honestly. If you’re looking for a superb DJ that you’ve been close friends with, I would go with Peter.
We hired Peter as the DJ for our Santa Barbara wedding nearly 2 and a half years ago, and after several pandemic related delays we were finally able to put on our event! Working wi...
th Peter has been our absolute pleasure. He is not only talented as a DJ and emcee, but is also incredibly organized and communicates well.
We appreciated how thorough and transparent Peter was during the planning process(es). He has an extensive questionnaire and checklist that helped us better define our vision for our event, and gave us questions to bring to our other vendors. He checked in regularly to make sure that we were hanging in there and followed up quickly after our planning sessions. And as our wedding approached, he went above and beyond to help us finalize our timeline (including thinking of things like where a bathroom break could be squeezed in) and made suggestions that made the event flow much better. As an MC and DJ, he had everything running perfectly and the dance floor full all night until the last song.
We would work with Peter again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him to anyone looking for DJ and event services!!

Being a professional dancer and instructor, Peter took on the challenge like a champ, and was so incredibly professional, enthusiastic, and patient with us through out the 6 months he worked with us!
He was very easy to work, communicate and coordinate with. He was very creative with the choreography by utilizing our strengths and abilities and made us look good despite our limitations. And yet, Peter made sure we hit all the signature moves from the movie! He was so awesome with us; I guarantee he would be the same working with anyone! I strongly recommend Peter for any services he offers for weddings and events! This guy knows what he’s doing!
We will always have many fond memories of our wedding, including dancing the night away to nonstop music that kept us moving!

t scheduled for our wedding weekend, Araiza Events was very understanding to keep our date on stand by due to a change of date or continuing to keep our date. During that period Peter was extremely kind and understanding. During our first meeting, he gave us a pamphlet presentation on the services he offered as well as advised us on all the important music we needed to pick out for special events throughout the night. Peter really knows how to read the crowd and was and was an INCREDIBLE MC and engaged with our guests during the most memorable moment of our wedding day which was the garter toss. We are so grateful to have had Peter as our DJ and would highly recommend this company for any big events.
If I had to choose the top factor that made my wedding reception amazing, without any hesitation at all it would be Peter Araiza. From start to finish, working with him was a seaml...
ess, professional, and ridiculously fun experience. He was extremely communicative, which put my wedding-planning mania to rest, and answered every panicked question with total confidence. The day of, he was prompt, efficient, and once the party started, he totally ran the show. There was never a dull moment, never a lull in fun, and he had everyone dancing. As one of those hostesses who cannot stop worrying that her guests are entertained, it was a massive relief and allowed me to really enjoy my own reception. Peter, you're a rock star - thank you so much for everything!

nt. We hosted our wedding at a private residence and he helped us see that we could add better visibility and mood lighting throughout the property. Anything he didn’t already have, he was able to secure through his resourcefulness and at competitive pricing. What’s even more impressive, he managed to tackle this for my event in Santa Barbara and his home base is Long Beach.
I highly recommend him for any event, he will elevate anything you want to put together.
