We booked Archive Rentals for our wedding and highly recommend them!
We had our wedding on the beach, so really wanted a rental vendor that could accommodate our "yacht club" theme. Archive was THE PERFECT vendor. They had cute fixtures (sailing wheels, buoys, coral, blue message-in-a-bottles, lighthouse lanterns, etc.) that fit our theme perfectly! We also were getting married at a Yacht Club that had a water slide into the harbor that we wanted to cover up somehow, so we could have our ceremony on the beach. They came up with the idea to stand a boat upright to block the slide for our photos -- it worked and looked FANTASTIC!
Their team help set everything up and the whole wedding was seamless. At the end of the night, they took everything down.
Kori was great to work with, and even let us make last-minute changes/additions to our list of rented items up until wedding day!
I'll definitely use them for events again in the future!
Highly recommend rentals from Archive, especially if you are having a destination wedding. Some items were a bit price for our budget, but we were happy with everything we decided to rent. It all came together to make the perfect aesthetic for our big day. Alexandra was very responsive and helpful, and was flexible when I changed our order a few times.
Archive Rentals was so amazing! They had such beautiful pieces for us to choose from and they made the process very easy. We signed a contract and had to add more pieces a few months later and they made it a seamless process. I would 12/10 use them again and recommend to anyone and everyone!
BOOK THEM NOW. They were the glue that kept my wedding together. I cannot say enough amazing things about Archive Rentals.
They NAILED my "vision". In fact, they helped guide my wedding in the right direction as far as the style I was looking for. Everything was top/high end quality.
I had the pleasure of working with Lucy Q and I feel VERY fortunate. She was the sweetest and SO nice to work with! We worked together on whatsapp to send pictures of rentals back and forth and I felt so comfortable making changes along the way. She was even available to chat on the weekends! Just so easy going! She was efficient and always on time. She never seemed bothered by all the changes, and even if new stuff came in, she would suggest it! I just honestly can't say how much I appreciated Archive and Lucy.
We wanted our wedding to look like TULUM, and they did just that. Even the bartenders at our wedding said they felt like they were there, but in Playa Mujeres.
I could go on and on about my experience with Archive but it's going to sound redundant. In order to keep my review honest, the ONLY compliant I had was that two napkins went "missing" from our wedding. Did a guest take them on accident? Did the hotel lose them? Did archive miscount/lose them? Who knows, but I got charged for those which sucked. But in the grand scheme of things, that's nothing.
Archive/Lucy worked so well with all of my other vendors and I just felt like I could walk away and focus on my big day and had NOTHING to worry about. I even had them design a custom piece for me that turned out AMAZING! AND I had her on the lookout for certain chairs I "had to have" and she got them!
Just book Archive, you will NOT be disappointed from start to finish. It is worth every penny and every breath!
The rugs, chairs and votives we rented from Archive were the cherry on top of a beautiful venue! I am so glad we rented from them. They were able to make multiple changes to my order, as well as an easy pickup and drop off.
Archive has the most beautiful inventory and helped us create the most magical day. They do have a couple fees that seem a bit silly, but overall I highly recommend them and their rentals as they all were absolutely beautiful and very high quality!
Now that my wedding is over I do not have fantastic things to say about hiring Archive. While they have many many beautiful items to rent - they were not worth the stress and headache this company created.
Upon inquiring with Archive I was given Katie to assist me in my concept and design. When I met her at their studio in San Clemente she was very personable and had a table set up with my vision in mind- it was stunning and I left very very happy and decided to hire Archive/Katie as my sole rental company for my wedding.
After I signed my rental agreement with them I needed to change some things on my order to accommodate the budget put into place. From this moment forward I regretted trusting Katie. Her response emails became very short and frankly, rude. It was so evident that I was no longer important and I did not feel taken care of as a PAYING bride. Any email correspondence I had with her thereafter was poor, so poor that my venue coordinator even had terrible comments on their personal correspondence with her. About 3 weeks prior to my wedding it was suggested that I invite her to my final walk through and I explained to her that I had some questions about placement of the items on my order, in which she could help answer during the walk through. She rejected meeting me and my venue coordinator for my walk through before I even gave her the date and time.
Because of her lack of professionalism my FLORIST team picked up the slack on my wedding day created by Archive to ensure my ceremony and reception were perfect.
The only stressful part of my wedding planning was dealing with her.
If you do decide to hire Archive, do not trust Katie with your wedding rentals. If I could have terminated my contract with Archive, I would have done so.
The archive team really delivered with their fast, but thorough communication, and detailed responses. Kori and Emma were two team members that I worked with and they were super enthusiastic and friendly and helpful.
They let me visit the showroom and put together pieces that worked well together. I ended up renting some chargers and cutlery from the company. They were gorgeous and our table-scape pictures were amazing.
In my earlier life, I was an event coordinator for a non-profit. Working with the rental companies was always the worst part for me; so stressful and communications were always a struggle. When I got engaged, I knew I wanted my experience with the rental company we chose to be different. That’s why we chose to work with Archive; and it is was one of the best decisions that we made as we planned our wedding day. They have an amazing selection of items to rent – from tables and chairs, to goblets and easels. But on top of all that, they have excellent customer service. Before we even signed a contract or placed our order, we received so much attention and care. Working with Alexandra Swanson was superb. She was so patient and never rushed us into any decisions. When we hit a snag two months before our wedding – our venue unexpected closed throwing a wrench into everything we already planned – Archive and Alexandra worked with us, explained all our options, and helped us revise our order. I can’t even begin to imagine what that experience would have been like if we had picked another company. I would recommend Archive wholeheartedly to anyone and everyone. Any increase in price over the other guys is totally and 100% worth it in the extra quality and care you will receive. A big thank you to Alexandra and the team for making our day even more special!
There is a very good reason this company has 5 stars...they are organized, responsive, professional, creative, and thoughtful. Not only will I use them again, but I will use them exclusively for the events I work on moving forward. I can't thank them enough for their attention to detail and for making my life easier!
Archive has gorgeous items for rent! I fell in love with their inventory. They were great to work with! They delivered on time and the men were so kind and wanted my input so that setup was perfect. They even put our love seat up higher because when I originally sat in the seat the table was too high for the seat so they worked their magic and made it work. My only complaint would be response time from the company to my emails. Sometimes it would be weeks before I heard from them. That made me a little nervous throughout the process but everything was perfect the wedding day. I loved the wooden tables and our chairs were beautiful! I said they have gorgeous rentals and it is all in great condition and high quality. My guest were in awe of the whole day!
Working with Archive for the first time over a busy holiday weekend, Laura was great in helping me with my order. Their inventory is great, and I appreciated her suggestions. The set up crew was awesome, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was where I needed it to be. I would highly recommend using them again for my specialized rental needs.
I am a wedding coordinator and had the pleasure of working with Archive for a recent wedding and was completely impressed with them throughout the entire process! Their communication was prompt and warm (thank you, Al!) and they are by far the most organized rental company I have worked with in terms of making sure all of the logistics are taken care of.
Their inventory is wonderful and they were on-time, friendly and helpful on the day of the wedding. I am excited to refer them to brides and work with them in the future because they made everything so easy!
I LOVED working with Jenny Leu at Archive Rentals! She was incredibly helpful, thoughtful and went above and beyond to help us plan a picture perfect wedding. Jenny quickly responded to every single one of my emails / texts (and I sent a lot of them!) She helped put life into the vision I had for our big day.
Jenny and the team at Archive truly believe in A+++++ customer service and quality when it comes to their clients. Planning a wedding can be daunting at times, but Jenny made the process seamless and easy from start to finish.
I HIGHLY recommend Archive Rentals! If you are looking for great quality rentals and excellent customer service, please contact Jenny Leu! You won't regret it.
We used Archive Rentals for wedding design, planning and rentals for our wedding in Tulum, Mexico. They were phenomenal!
Wedding design- my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing, we had a few kickoff calls with the design team, then just let them work their magic, knowing that whatever they touched was going to be amazing. And it was! We had dozens of guests tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to. The team worked wonders on the hotel venue, creating unique and memorable experiences for the ceremony, cocktail lounge, reception and dance floor lounge. From the flowers, to antique furniture, to table settings, everything was a perfect mix of elegant, fun, bohemian and beachy, just like we wanted.
Wedding planning- Laura was our wedding planner and she was so organized. Again, just a total stress reliever because we had complete confidence in her and didn't have to worry about anything slipping through the cracks. She was great the months leading up to the wedding and then she just blew me away on the wedding day. She was so nice and thoughtful and was there for me for whatever I needed (often before I even knew I needed it!), nobody else could have made me feel more comfortable and at ease!
Wedding rentals- the furniture was amazing! The opposite of an "out-of-the-box wedding". We rented everything from Archive and completely transformed the look of the hotel. I would definitely recommend pairing the rentals with the design+planning because it just made the process so seamless from the original concepting to the furniture delivery and pickup.
Overall, I would highly recommend using Archive Rentals. Our wedding was a dream, and they deserve all the credit for making it a reality.
Having Archive design the look of our wedding and provide our rentals was the best decision we made! My wife and I were married at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego, and have been told by a number of our guests that it was the most beautiful wedding they've been to! We even landed a Real Wedding feature in Exquisite Weddings, a San Diego Weddings mag. I left most of these decisions up to my wife, but was a little involved here and there, and I must say that The Archive team was very friendly and easy to work with. You'll definitely be in great hands when you go with Archive.
I went to Archive Rentals for my wedding this May in Big Sur, CA. Despite being a popular wedding destination its still very remote and nearby vendors are limited. From our first conversations through the wedding day and afterwards Archive Rentals was fabulous. I worked directly with Kori who was a godsend - she quickly responded to my string of questions, constantly changing order, and even looked into sourcing new inventory to make my vision come true. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and the rentals + decor truly brought the entire vision to life.
You can't go wrong with Archive Rentals. We couldn't have put together such a romantic and elegant (themed!) wedding without them! Crosby + Jon designed our wedding and it was truly like seeing a dream become reality. Reserving was easy and delivery and pickup went smoothly the day of.
Archive Rentals made my DREAM wedding come true! I came to them with a load of photos and they helped organize my thoughts and vision and then executed the order with such style. Not only did they help with my wedding design, they also helped bring the whole event to life from ceremony to the grand exit. My favorite element that I didn't think of initially were the tabletop pieces. It was so fun for each guest to sit down to a unique table setting. The blush goblets and flatware were stunning, not to mention the classic mixed china plates. Our guests made so many comments on the beautiful and unique the lounge furniture. They all wanted it in their home! I've recommended them to all my friends and can't wait to incorporate them into future events.
Krista Jon has an eye for floral styling like no one I have ever seen! When you meet with Krista, she immediately makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. We went over my ideas and I could see her putting everything together in her head. She took my ideas and ran with them. When she came to my hotel to drop off all the flowers...I almost shed tears. The flowers and succulents that she used were UNREAL! From my ombre'd bouquet to the boutonnieres....everything was simply gorgeous!! I love Krista and will always recommend her anyone!!
I was first interested in hiring Krista Jon because her designs are incredibly unique and push the envelope on traditional flower arrangements. She did not disappoint! I had a hard time reeling in my ideas and settling on a specific look so I would just ramble off different ideas I liked. From that Krista was able to create the most gorgeous bouquets and arrangements I have ever seen. She has this perfect blend of vintage but modern and mixes bold with soft. Krista also has no problem staying within the budget you give her.
That first person I meet with archive I was not to found of. I ended up dealing with Kiki how was super nice but kinda a mess. I rented about 3,000 dollars worth of stuff n I hired one of there Stylist to come out and help put everything together. She did a great job on my clothes line but I paid her 75 dollars an hour for 4 hours n there is no way she even stayed 2. Be specific about what u want to rent. One of the tables showed up n it was 2oldsuper wine barrels n 23 old pieces of fence. I got married in wine country n my venue had all the wine barrels I wanted to use. Was bummed when I saw my snores bar on an ugly old make shift table that I paid 165 bucks for. There rentals made my wedding special. The cigar lounge with the leather sofa was awesome. I think they are a newer company n haven't ironed out the kinks yet. Also I never got a final break down for my bill. She just charged my card.
