Arizona Snowbowl

Snowbowl was just the perfect venue for us. We were prepared for it to be way more "rustic" than we thought in terms of the bridal yurt and room for the groomsmen, but they were beyond expectations with cute personal touches and extra goodies that saved a couple emergencies! Lauren was a dream to work with. She was super communicative, kind, and made our dream day happen. She handled our rowdy group SO well and made our ceremony an absolute dream.

We are so happy with our wedding at Snowbowl! We can't say enough good things about Lauren and the staff. Everyone made sure our day went perfectly and it did. The service was great, and the food was very good. The dressing rooms they set up for us were so cute with treats and amenities. Details I was too busy to remember somehow still got done because of Lauren and her staff. Our day went better than we could have hoped. Plus, the view from the lodge is unbeatable. All of our guests commented on how beautiful it was and our photos also turned out amazing.

First of all let me say the venue was amazing they had private yurt for the Bridal Party fully stocked with mirrors for each girl, hair clips, champagne and iced water with a roaring electric fire💕 The staff was great and very friendly and accommodating to everything that we needed and cleaned up everything after the wedding for us. I do have to give a special recognition to Michael Tolleson though. He went above and beyond for us right down to every single detail to make sure everything was perfect for my daughters wedding he also took it upon himself to add a few extra touches in the decorations to make sure her wedding looked amazing and it did. He not only checked on us and made sure that we had everything we needed but he was so personable to each and every guest making everyone feel right at home and as if he was a part of our family, which he now of course is. I would 1000% recommend snowbowl for any venue especially for a wedding and would hope they would be lucky enough to have Michael as their coordinator. Snowbowl's wedding event team did a phenomenal job helping us plan and host our wedding at the lodge! Not only was the location stunning but Snowbowl did a great job making sure all the details were in place for our special day. The vendor had multiple options and packages to pick from to make the space your own for your special day. The main coordinator was always quick to answer or solve any problems, and thinks of all the details. This was the perfect location for our summer wedding, I wouldn't change a single thing.

Lauren Bruni was our venue coordinator for our wedding at Arizona Snowbowl. We were meant to have our wedding at Snowbowl, but unfortunately because of the fires and forest closures we found out we were unable to have it there a few days beforehand. As the bride, I was so sad about this as I was so excited to have our wedding at this beautiful venue, but Lauren saved the day! Seriously, Lauren saved our wedding day. From the moment she found out about the venue closure, she was working hard to get us into a different venue. Thankfully, she was able to get us into another venue in Flagstaff within a few hours, and she worked closely with the coordinator at that venue to make sure that everything was perfect. She was also with us during our rehearsal and on the wedding day at the new venue to help ensure that things ran smoothly. A potentially devastating situation was turned into a positive because of her. We’d definitely recommend having your wedding at Arizona Snowbowl not only because it’s a gorgeous venue but also because you’ll be able to work with Lauren, who will do everything she can to make sure your day is perfect!

Such an amazing experience! Even through a Pandemic, they still made it the best day ever!

We were married in June 2020, during the Covid 19 pandemic. Throughout the entire process, Snowbowl was safe, professional, and accommodating. Obviously if you have ever been up to Snowbowl, the scenery and views are breathtaking, but we found the venue itself to be gorgeous and very affordable; the perfect mix between rustic and elegant. They were happy to include everything from decorations, tablecloths, etc. They allowed us to create a custom menu that was affordable and delicious. The drinks were delicious as well, and we had many options regarding the bar, which allowed us to keep it within our price range. Most importantly, the coordinator and her staff helped make it the best day ever!

We used Arizona Snowbowl for my sons rehearsal dinner. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, Lauren Bruni was amazing, and the scenery was beautiful. She made sure everything was set-up and ready to go for their wedding the next day, and helped with anything that was needed. Her level of professionalism was top notch. The whole process from booking the place, to picking the menu, and the actual day of the rehearsal went without a hitch. Lauren was on the ball, and intuitive to our needs before we even asked to make sure everyone was taken care of. My son and his bride also had the wedding here and it was beyond everything we hoped for. Lauren made sure once again everyone was taken care of. Everyone had high compliments for the venue, food, and service. We highly recommend using Arizona Snowbowl for your rehearsal and wedding. We knew we wanted to have our wedding outside during the summer. However, we were not about to do that in the valley with 100 + degree weather! Consequently, we started looking at venues up north and stumbled upon Snowbowl. The venue was everything we envisioned for our wedding day. The scenery was breathtaking and the weather was perfect! Best of all, Lauren and her staff went above and beyond to make our big day the best day. She was proactive from the start and made wedding planning so easy and fun. We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding!

Beautiful location !!

Lauren, the event coordinator, is everything we could have asked for. She handled everything from the food, to the decorations, and even our ceremony set up and kept the day flowing perfectly. The staff is wonderful and friendly, and the scenery at Snowbowl is just perfect. Out of every venue my fiance and I researched, they were the most affordable, but you'd think that we'd shelled out buckets of money for the professionalism and beauty they brought to our wedding. It was perfect and we are so grateful. I'll never forget how hard everyone worked to make it as amazing as it could be. Thank you!

Dwelling in Tucson, my now-husband and I love camping and snowboarding in Northern AZ, and we chose Snowbowl because we love the area and Flagstaff has enough restaurants/hotels/Ubers for guests. We chose a prime leaf-peeping October weekend for our wedding. The bright Aspens were an absolutely stunning backdrop for photos. Everything ran smoothly and we had an amazing day. Because the mountain is open to the public for scenic lift rides during this season, there was a lot of traffic on the road, which caused our ceremony to start late, but it was no big deal. I did experience frustration with the responsiveness of the coordinator, Lauren. We wanted to pay for our wedding in installments to make it easier on us financially. Every single time I wanted to make a payment, including our initial deposit, it was a strange, multi-day game of email/phone tag to get it done. One time I couldn't get a hold of Lauren at all, something about her phone being down? An online payment gateway would be helpful. Also, note the contract is purposefully vague, so they may adjust your pricing. We ended up being okay as we changed our bar service to a tab, but we initially had asked for an open bar of wine and beer (all the beers they offered on tap plus bottles), and we were told a month or so before that the only beer they could give us for that price was Coors Light. We also did a custom menu and didn't realize a dessert wasn't included with that option. If you want anything extra, it seemingly costs $5 per person. I wanted a hot chocolate/cider bar, which I ended up canceling when I realized it was going to cost more than $600 with tax and a service fee. I literally could have taken every one of our 80 guests to Starbucks and bought them hot chocolate for less. Snowbowl will charge a 22% service fee, but that is all your staff gratuity, so that is one less thing to worry about. I'd advise couples to not pay their balance in full until it's due. If your guest count and/or costs are lower than you expected and you overpay, I'd imagine you'd have a hard time getting any money back. Despite being very lax the entire planning process, Lauren flipped a switch and became very Type A on our wedding day, and she was more on the ball than I expected. We were told drinks would be brought to the bridal party, which didn't happen until shortly before our ceremony and I had to ask. But Lauren was good at organizing the bridal party and making announcements to our guests. Snowbowl doesn't do tastings so I had no idea what our food would be like, and I must say I was impressed. We had them do a custom bbq-style dinner for us, and we had chicken and pulled pork, truffle mac 'n' cheese, salad, and rolls. Many guests commented on how good the food was. I was told in our initial communication they would also include grilled veggies, which were not present, but I honestly didn't even miss them. As the bride, you have little time to eat, and Lauren made sure we got the chance, which was nice. But I wish I had gone back for seconds!

We had the best time at the Snowbowl!! The coordinator up there was patient and wonderful to work with (I planned my own wedding so asked a lot of questions...) And the day of exceeded our expectations. Food was delicious, (way better than what we thought we'd get out of a ski lodge kitchen!), the space was incredible, and the setting was beautiful. Highly recommend the AZ Snowbowl if you're looking for something outdoorsy, with a view, great people to work with, and so many compliments on food/drink/venue.

If you're getting married in Flagstaff, Snowbowl is absolutely the best venue there is! Everything from start to finish was perfect and we couldn't be happier. Lauren the events manager is a pleasure to work with and is extremely professional and timely to respond. All my extra little details were handled the day of the wedding and the food was incredible. The setting is incredible and the staff is amazing. Don't get married here without checking out Snowbowl! You won't be disappointed!!

My husband and I got married at Snow Bowl in June; the venue itself provides a beautiful backdrop, great food, and different ceremony and reception location options on the property. The only thing that kept us from having an all-around amazing experience was the on-site wedding/event coordinator. Her accessibility/responsiveness is not the issue, it is the complete lack of decisiveness, clarity, and reliability that she provides when you do communicate with her. I worked with a wonderful and professional group of local vendors – ALL of whom made it clear that the events coordination at the venue left a lot to be desired, the coordinator had been lax and unreliable when working with her in the past, and they all made it clear that her reputation is well-known amongst the wedding community in Flag. Obviously I was worried at that point but thankfully they were honest - after hearing similar comments from 3 vendors I hired my own day-of coordinator!! I can absolutely guarantee our rehearsal and wedding day would not have gone as smoothly as it did had I left it up to the Snow Bowl coordinator. Amongst SEVERAL other things, the venue coordinator attempted to reschedule our rehearsal time and location approximately three times (up until days before), sent me an email halfway into the planning process (we began planning in January for our June wedding) to notify me that she was no longer going to be employed at Snow Bowl and later never notified me in any way that she was actually staying on after all, indicated to us that she intended to schedule a group tasting (never happened), refused to show me the bridal getting ready area when I traveled to Snow Bowl from Phoenix for two in-person meetings, (they have a new yurt for the bridal suite), failed to order/stock the specific type of wine I requested for myself in our bar package, interrupted our bridal party toasts to insist that my husband and I leave the rehearsal to go outside for sunset pictures (my photographer apologized on the coordinator’s behalf later because she felt it was an extremely unprofessional move on the coordinator’s part) and failed to notify/update me with info regarding our ceremony venue (which was still under construction 5 days prior to the wedding, unbeknownst to me) until I firmly insisted. Snow Bowl provided my husband and I with the scenic views, rustic ambience, and wonderful food we were looking for but Snow Bowl fell extremely short in the professionalism, organization, and reliability of the on-site venue coordination services offered. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring your own coordinator from day one – it will save headaches, stress, hassle, and will ensure that you have a professional in charge on your special day.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Lauren and her staff made our wedding day so amazing. We did not have to worry about a thing. They took care of everything for us, from day one of planning to the day of coordination! Freemont Bar and Grill was very comfortable for 150 people, and had the best scenery just outside on the patio. The food was also amazing!! Snowbowl was very respectful of our budget and made sure we got what we wanted. I would highly recommend Snowbowl for any event! All of our guests raved about everything! It was a huge hit! You cannot beat the beautiful natural scenery of Flagstaff!

I never thought that I would be able to afford to get married at such a beautiful venue. Our event planner helped us customize our event for our budget and always was willing to price out other options for us when needed. We also had a unique situation in where me and my husband had already been married and our event planner Lauren took some of our unique requests with ease. The reception was beautiful, the weather amazing, the food was delicious and I didn't have to worry about a thing! My wedding photos turned out amazing, Snowbowl is a BEAUTIFUL venue, I would highly recommend.

We had a winter wedding on Skiis, needless to say, there were a lot of things going on all at once. Lauren and her team did such an amazing job helping us organize, setting up, adjusting on the fly, and most importantly making sure all the little things that came up were taken care of without having us to deal with them. This made our day a lot easier. Our set up was very difficult and required a high degree of an ad-hoc mentality, Lauren was quick on her feet and better than any wedding planner I have ever seen. She made our wedding the talk of our friends and family. Hopefully I will never have to use her again for my wedding, but I would highly recommend her and certainly use them for other party engagements. Without Lauren and the Arizona Snowbowl team, our wedding would not have been anywhere near as amazing at it was.

Our son was married at Snowbowl this fall. Lauren and her team were amazing to work with and paid great attention to detail. We were in danger of a thunderstorm and everyone was prepared with Plan B. Thankfully, it was not needed, as we experienced the most stunning 12 hour reprieve anyone could ever ask for. The venue was beautiful and the dinner delicious. With 200 guests our limit was $25/pp and the team worked hard to create a buffet dinner within our budget. I am thankful that we also hosted the rehearsal dinner at Snowbowl and were able to enjoy the stunning views and delicious food an extra evening.

Lauren and her team were absolutely wonderful!! They made my day go perfectly!! Lauren was extremely responsive, helpful, kind, and supportive. She answered every question I had and even offered suggestions when our videographer cancelled last minute and the forecast said it may rain. Snowbowl's view made our pictures and memories absolutely invaluable. Plus, the lights and fabric they put on the ceiling inside the lodge added the perfect touch! If I had to do it over, I would definitely choose to go back to Snowbowl again and again!

We had our wedding at the top of Agassiz ski lift and it was amazing! The vendor was easy to work with (confirm all additional fees before budgeting as some fees change due to season changes). The day of was super easy as well. The top of the mountain is only for super small wedding parties, but worked SO WELL for us! We LOVED it!

The mountain top was beautiful and Stephenie was wonderful to work with. We were at the Agassiz lodge for the reception and the food & drink was phenomenal. ONLY downside was that due to how busy they were for fall scenic lift ride, I had to jump through hoops to get ahold of everyone to get them there 2 hours early instead of the 1 hour early because it was an hour wait to get on and we weren't allowed priority. Everything else went smoothly. I would highly recommend just make sure if you have a fall wedding during homecoming to make sure you coordinate accordingly with a place holder for the wedding party. We were super small (19 including myself and groom), so it worked out. ❤❤❤

Everything was perfect! From the reception space, to the ceremony spot, to the food, to the awesome staff. I would recommend this venue to any bride who's looking for a rustic venue with an incredible view.

We picked Snowbowl for our wedding because of its beautiful location and value for the area. However, it was always a struggle to get in touch with their event coordinator. She was terrible at responding to emails and phone calls and we didn't actually meet her until the day of our wedding. After our wedding, in the confusion of cleaning up and leaving, several boxes of our stuff got left behind. We didn't get in contact with the coordinator until after we had returned to Phoenix several days later, but she said she would hold it for us until we could return to get it. We had a friend going up a week or so later, but again, we could not get a hold of the coordinator to make sure someone would be there to meet our friend. Two weeks later, when she finally returned our call, she informed us that she "thought" all our stuff had been thrown away, since she couldn't find it anywhere. It was probably about $200-$300 worth of stuff. I'm still pissed about it. Communication issues aside, our wedding really was beautiful and ran smoothly. Everyone raved about the food (and open bar!). We looked at several Flagstaff venues, and Snowbowl had some of the better prices and the views could not be beat. Our pictures are amazing and we had a great time.

What a hidden gem at 9,000 ft! From the rustic lodge, to the breathtaking scenery, Snowbowl was a great and unique spot for a wedding. There is a wedding coordinator on staff, so there is someone dedicated to helping make your wedding great. Beacuse of the scenery, we were able to save money on flowers and the ceremony deck has an arch in place and ready for use. The food was surprisingly good and affordable, and included with the rental are tables, linens, china, silverware and glassware. You have to purchase alcohol through Snowbowl because of a liquor license, but they will work with you as far as offering just beer and wine or signature cocktails.

Sara the banquet coordinator was very helpful with setting up the wedding. She met with us before hand to show us around and regularly through the wedding process by phone or email. The wedding crew did a great job setting up and it was a wonderful wedding, not to mention the spectacular views.
