As a wedding planner, its really important to find a venue that understands my clients needs and can provide a flawless event thats perfectly executed. Arlington Hall did just that! Alex Siers and her team were absolutely phenomenal. We had several last minute challenges and fires that needed to be solved. Alex was very flexible and helped us with every issue to make sure my bride was taken care of. She is such a professional and was able to create a custom Indian catering menu for our guests that was outside of their normal ask. Her chef curated a beautiful menu that wowed all the guests. Thank you Alex for all your hard work and effort, you are truly appreciated!
As a wedding planner, you can't beat Arlington Hall! It's such a gorgeous venue with endless possibilities, exquisite food and exceptional service. One of our favorite places to work in Dallas by far! Most recently we worked with Alex and my clients were over the moon happy from start to finish.
The team at Arlington hall truly made our wedding the special day it was. The food is absolutely five-star restaurant quality and the service is everything you would expect from a luxury venue. We had Dana as our bridal captain and she thought of EVERYTHING before we could even think to ask! Fernando and the rest of the foodservice team were so great too. Our entire family and friend group commented on how attentive everyone was and of course the venue itself it just gorgeous. We used some of the outdoor space for the cocktail hour and the fountain area is so classic. Arlington Hall is a great place to have all of our pictures and wedding memories and we are so happy that we used them for our wedding. We did both our ceremony and reception on-site, which made it easy and seamless for our guests. I also want to mention that we hosted this event during the COVID-19 era, and I felt so comfortable with how seriously their team took cleanliness and safety of us and our guests. Truly a perfect location!
My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Arlington Hall. From beginning to end they were extremely helpful. Upon our first meeting, we were simply gathering information and comparing venues. When throwing out different times of year we were thinking about having our big day, the Director of Catering and Planning (then Mary, now Alex) suggested wedding dates and times to make sure we stayed within our budget yet had the day of our dreams. While we were excited to plan our day, my husband and I did somewhat procrastinate as we started planning right before the holidays, but when we finally did kick it in gear (the week in between Christmas and New Years) Arlington Hall was there and waiting! We often said that we were sure we drove the staff there crazy with our calls and emails, but they always appeared willing to answer any questions we may have and put us at ease. All in all, we planned our wedding from beginning to end in 2 1/2 months tops and it was truly the most beautiful day of our lives. The day before our wedding, the City unexpectedly came out and irrigated the land that we planned to have our ceremony the very next day...holes everywhere! Alex jumped in and made sure there was beautiful turf to cover the space and with no additional charge to us. Finally, the bridal attendant (better known as the "fairy godmother") is truly worth her weight in gold! Whenever my husband or I literally had a thought or desire (ex. water, champagne, flats!) she was there as if she were in our head! The staff, the venue, the food...all of it amazing! You will not be disappointed!
If you are looking for them to take responsibility when things go south don't count on them
I am the father of the Bride. My daughter's wedding took place this past November of 2018. They recommended that we get a tent erected to accommodate our guests for the reception. They promised that the tent can be made weather proof - in the sense, in case of rain we won't be interrupted. It costed ovr $18K and over $50K for food. The tent was put up without the side panel to prevent the rain. At least they had the top. The tent construction is done by just one firm. They had contracted with that company to build. But was not adequately supervised, to ensure that the side panels were put up. The invoice had a line item for the side panels and also in the contract with the tent company.
thunderstorms rolled in as predicted for few days during the reception. We contracted them to give two wine pours. First pour was done and the main course was being served the thunderstorms came and disrupted the rest of the program. No second pour took place. They did try to serve food inside, but quite a many of the guests could not eat because it was plated dinner needing fork & knife and there weren't enough tables.
The $18K+ for the tent was a total waste also nearly $8K of decorations & accoutrements were a waste. They took no responsibility. They pretty much said SCAT happens and blamed us saying the contract was between us and the tent company. The manager who later claimed to have been at the wedding but didn't even bother to introduce himself - quite the liar.
It is a den of thieves, as we found out. While we were discussing how they would compensate us for the economic damages, they put through a charge for $37+K thru the credit card company, fraudulently charging my credit card we used to put up the deposit a year earlier. Always cancel your card after the deposit. I mistook them to be honorable, but they are frauds & thieves. We did not even get a chance to review the final bill. Additionally they did not even return the security deposit of $1,000 they took a year earlier - which was supposed to be returned. I am talking to Dallas county prosecutor's office to press charges.
We could not say more about our amazing experience with Arlington Hall. Everything was taken care of and our day of coordinator was spectacular. If you want a glam event for a modest budget, I would implore you to use them!
We had a beautiful wedding at Arlington Hall. Everything looked freshly painted and bright, and I love their entry area with the chandelier. We wanted to have the ceremony outside at his pretty metal portico they have but it had been rainy all week and they let us decide the day before whether to move it indoors. With the ceremony indoors they did a great job of flipping the room during cocktail hour too. It was the right size venue for our wedding - about 120 guests. You do have to be aware of the different rooms and flow to avoid having a segmented setup but I think ours was perfect. The food was all really good! It was nice to get the venue, food, and bar all set up through Allison. Dana, assigned to make sure we had all the drinks/food/whatever we wanted, and she was awesome! She was popping bottles for the bridal party while we were finishing getting ready and later on bringing glasses of water to my husband and I on the dance floor - it was so nice to not have to worry about leaving the party for these things. Overall it was an awesome venue!
The staff was rude, they reneged on several promises that they had made (both verbally and in writing), and they showed a complete lack of interest in our wedding. When we raised these issues, Alison told me that I should "learn to manage my expectations". Apparently being responsive and honest is just too much to ask. The venue is beautiful, but it's definitely showing signs of wear (chipped paint, furniture is worn out, outside walls need to be cleaned, etc). The required food vendor is mediocre, and their beverage list could use some attention. The only good thing that I can say is that Alison stayed in her office during our entire wedding, so I never had to see or speak to her that night.
This was a perfect location!! Beautiful venue as well as surrounding grounds. There are also several options on how to have your wedding be yours and unique. Brittany was so knowledgable and helpful. The staff was very attentive. We had several guest remark on how wonderful the food was as was! I just can't say enough wonderful things about this venue!!
Such a beautiful venue!!! My wedding here was absolutely perfect! Brittany was so wonderful to work with!!! The food was incredible & the staff was fantastic during the event! We had a blast & everything was so beautiful!
Arlington Hall was hands down the perfect choice! I loved the venue because it wasn't just "one big room". Having the different rooms made a huge difference. All the dancers/partiers stayed in the ballroom, the older people who wanted to chat stayed in the Lee room or outside on the side veranda/back porch area. Brittany Davenport was awesome. She kept our wedding on schedule and was there whenever I needed her. Having a personal attendant all night was awesome. My husband and I and both our parents were never without a drink. Some people might think Arlington Hall is a bit expensive, but when you factor in that you have a personal coordinator to help you with vendors and the details it makes it worth every penny. I didn't have a wedding planner at all, and my wedding went through without a hitch. Arlington Hall knows their stuff. They give great advice and guidance when it comes to vendors and how to throw a great party. I will recommend Arlington Hall to all my friends who are getting married. I am so happy I went with them! My wedding was beautiful, fun and stress free!
The food was also superb! My guests raved about how good the food was. You have to get the antipasti display (it's beautiful and the food on it is top notch). The Mac and Cheese martini bar is fun and some of the BEST mac and cheese. We also did the breaded chicken with kale salad and a brie sauce. The drinks they include are HIGH quality. My guests also raved about the selection and how good the wines were. They are willing to work with your preferences too. So for example, I wanted an unoaked chardonnay instead of regular and that was no problem. I just can't say enough :)
Amazing venue in the heart of Dallas. Southern charm with perfect service and execution. Made my husband and I feel like royalty!
The venue was gorgeous and perfect for my guest count. The food was amazing and the fact that they handled the linens, the food and alcohol, and tables and chairs made the process very simple. I would definitely recommend this venue for an amazing wedding.
Everything i could have asked for
We held both our ceremony and reception at the hall and it was fabulous. The site manager helps you to pick out the layout for both inside and outside and they handle all the rentals for you. They also have their own catering service, so you don't have to spend time looking for one and the food is fabulous. It was such an elegant yet relaxed setting and all of our guests had a blast.
I had a day wedding at this venue because it was a lot less expensive. It is a gorgeous, classic venue and I absolutely loved it and would recommend it!
The venue is beautiful. Marisa Ritter was amazing the day of the wedding.
This site is absolutely beautiful. I wasn't sure how it would look the day of the wedding, but even with the simplest decoration, the place looked amazing. Plus, having outdoor spaces allowed our guests to enjoy some fresh air but still be a part of the celebration. Food was delicious (they have an inhouse caterer you need to use). Frankly, this made things very easy as we did not need to find a caterer. The only problem was the site coordinator. While pleasant, she is VERY difficult to get a hold of, and rarely responded to calls or emails. I often had to email her 3 times before receiving a response. Sometimes, no response came at all! I understand they have a lot of events that require immediate attention, but it takes little effort to respond to a single question over email. When we asked her about her lack of responsiveness, she was neither apologetic nor conciliatory. She simply offered excuses. The site s beautiful, but she can make the process frustrating.
Marisa Ritter, the director, is amazing! We knew the whole time that we were in great hands and never in the year of planning worried that the reception wouldn't be perfect! The hall is absolutely gorgeous, so it requires very little embellishment, and the food is superb! They even developed a very personalized, unusual menu to match our somewhat uncommon food theme!
