The experience of working with Lauren Hill and the entire Artifact Uprising team was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The wedding guest book that she created for us is just stunning!! Beautiful book. I got the linen oatmeal color. Images are excellent and color perfectly matches my photographer's edits. Taylor, Sarah, and Maria were all wonderful to work with.

This vendor was excellent! The designers were awesome. They were very attentive to my needs and the turnaround timewas excellent. The finished product was beyond my wildest expectations. I would whole heartedly recommend this vendor plus the price was very reasonable!

I don't do reviews often. But I really want to give this company and my designer/curator Maria D. some love. If you're hesitating about working with this company, don't. The communication was great from minute one, with my account manager. And throughout the entire process everyone was so helpful. We made a photo book and it was such beautiful quality, so well done, well presented, if I were an influencer I would have recorded the unboxing because it was so beautiful haha. Oh if you're on the fence about the wood box upgrade, do it. Unless you're leaving your book out on the coffeetable. Honestly, I didn't do much but answer a few questions and my designer Maria D. was dope. I gave her my vision and a link to about 10,000 images. Somehow she didn't murder me. She came back with the most beautifully curated book, and it was 100% worth it. AND i was annoying and needed a rush, and made her wait for confirmations....so yeah. You'll love working with this company and the product you receive (on time, and in great condition) will blow you away. 

I have had an amazing experience with design services and photo curation with Maria D. She has exceeded my expectations! Making these albums have been on my to do list for over a year because we had so many photos (over 3,000) I couldn’t find the time to go through them and pick. Maria did such an amazing job of fulfilling all of my requests and picking the photos. The communication was wonderful and I am so excited to receive my albums in the mail. Thank you for making something I had been dreading so quick and easy!

Having a designer select the best photos and lay them out in the most aesthetic way made the difference between having a product that is never quite done and a wedding album that is elegant, professional quality and -- most importantly -- finished! I'd recommend A|U's design service to any couple who has a lot on their plate and wants their wedding album to be as stunning as their wedding day.

DO NOT use. Communication was less awful, online editing system is not easy to use and a change was made after specific instructions not to which ruined my now printed and received album.

I ordered my wedding album and some framed wedding prints from here way late after my wedding. I was very skeptical as I have done this through other companies and felt the quality was “ok” and I had trouble finding my high quality copies of some of the photos. I am so pleased with the album and the framed prints. The quality is so high caliber, even on photos that were not the highest resolution. The photo album making process was so so sooooo easy and fun to do and there are so many options to customize. The framed prints look museum-level quality. The order came extremely fast given how customized these things were. I have decided to take all my print and framing orders over to them moving forward. Other sites just don’t cut it!!

I had Amanda Zucker as my designer for my wedding album, and she was fantastic! I opted for the additional design services because I couldn't figure out how to lay everything out, and when we got the first draft, my husband and I set about almost every page "wow, this is a perfect page!" The process was really easy overall.

I was lucky enough to have Amanda Zucker assigned as my designer and she was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. How can I even begin to thank her for everything! Not only is she extremely talented in design work, she is an exceptionally thoughtful individual who made me feel SO special and supported and really seen and heard. She was incredibly patient and responsive. It was such a joy to work with her and I feel so lucky and grateful for her help! She deserves a RAISE and an extra week of vacation for all of her exceptional work and customer service!

It seems like a human doesn't actually review it because mine came out horrible - and no one ever got back to me when I reached out. Do NOT recommend using them if you want quality prints/album.

Maria on the design services team was amazing when laying out or wedding album. She did such a great job incorporating all our favorite photos and was super quick to making requested edits. The process + proof system was so seamless. Can’t wait to see the photo book when it arrives in person!

Liz at artifact uprising was so amazing! She always responded in a timely manner and I helped curate my dream wedding album. I had an overwhelming amount of phots from my South Asian wedding that was multiple events to capture and she was able to make magical moments come to life in this photo album. Really happy with my result!

just based off of the customer service, I wont be using this company again. They have a very poor way of honoring sale prices on their website.

This company is an absolute nightmare. Do not, I repeat do not send anything to them. We sent them our engagement photos for an album that was meant to be used as a guestbook for our wedding. The first one they sent was so damaged, the printing was off, the writing we included was cut off or misprinted. So they sent a replacement. I’m one week out from my wedding and just opened the new one and it is even worse. Please do yourself a favour and avoid them.

I finally took the time to get my wedding pictures printed and my albums turned out amazing. Totally worth the investment.

Artifact Uprising was very patient with my hectic schedule, reached out constantly, connected me with Amber to design my album, and it is now being processed! I can’t wait to receive! I’ve only received the utmost professional assistance on all communications, and Amber was an absolute pleasure to work with! I hope I am lucky enough to work with her again when I order my next two graduation albums for my other kids! I did not create an album for a wedding. I created it for my daughter’s college graduation.

Absolutely loved working with Amber! She made the process so easy and enjoyable. I felt as though she really cared as much about the photo albums as I did. Definitely a bit of a splurge and definitely worth it!

AU Design Services, specifically Megan Dacus, went above and beyond to make my albums absolutely perfect! I had two wedding albums made - one for my parents and one for my in-laws - as a thank you/Christmas gift. I cannot wait to see their faces when they open them!!! Megan was patient and understanding with my requests, extremely timely in her responses and editing, and produced two absolute works of art that will be cherished for a lifetime. Although pricey, there really is no price that can be put on these albums. And using Megan and the Design Services team was the BEST decision I made - it saved me so much time and headaches!!! I can’t thank Megan and the AU DS team enough! Such a great customer experience and I will definitely be back for more albums for my husband and I.

The AU team (Leah) was absolutely wonderful to work with!! She helped me and my husband through every step of the process of designing our Wedding Layflat album , and was so thoughtful and creative with her design suggestions. She was prompt to reply and willing to work with us and our timing to help us get what we need on an accelerated timeline. Design-wise - everything turned out perfectly! She even helped us with a checkout issue we were having, directing us to the customer service team to get everything resolved quickly. We are so thrilled and absolutely in love with our final product, and cannot WAIT to share it with our friends and family. We are gifting this book to our parents, so can't wait to see their faces open the book - hopefully we can snap a few pictures to share with the AU team! We so appreciate all the time, effort, expertise, and assistance throughout the process!!!

I ordered 3 Wedding books and they came out beautiful! When I first received them a lot of the edits I did were not in the book and I was disappointed. I reached out to them and they fixed my issue right away! The quality and print of these books are so amazing! I cant wait to give them to our parents! Thank you again! I will order in the future

I was disappointed by this site to create an album. It was a challenge to upload photos and then I found out at the end that they needed to be uploaded in a certain color profile (sRGB). But no warning of this before starting and finishing a 150 page photo album with 300+ photos. I couldn’t get anyone on the phone and their chat service didn’t definitively tell me that my album would come out ok or not. They told me that my money would be refunded if it came out poorly. But I spent weeks editing photos and laying this out… refunding my money doesn’t solve the fact that they wasted my time. Additionally, the layout options are not great. Most of my photos are in landscape orientation and most of the layout options are in portrait. They don't have a customizable option for your photos. The text is also very odd. It's hard to know how large it is without getting a proof, which can take a few hours to receive. I wish I had gone with a different website and I would not recommend them to anyone. Finger crossed it comes out right. Even if it does, I won’t be using them again. Not worth the stress. Really disappointing… I wanted to like them so much!

I used Artifact Uprising to help make my guestbook for my upcoming wedding. To say I am blown away by their design and customer service is an understatement. I just received my layflat wedding album and it's the most gorgeous way to showcase the images we've just had sitting on our computer for years since our wedding. The easiest most stress free way to order and make a beautiful wedding album! We chose the design services wedding album (we are both so busy and had no time to fully create the album ourselves and sift through the photos). Amber, my designer, was the best! Full of great ideas and we are so so happy with the way it turned out! Can’t recommend this enough!

I’m embarrassed to admit but it’s taken me over a year to start this process and I could never have done it without Amber from artifact uprising. She was amazing. Even though first draft was spot on and then the rest of the process was such a team effort working together to make it perfect. The quality of lay flat album, the design services, communication, professionalism and everything in between were a 5 star service. I can’t stop looking at the album!

The website is so easy to use, the layouts are simple and sophisticated, and the books are such high quality and truly worth every penny. They photos print so clearly and the color is amazing! I wanted a legit, I mean LEGIT wedding album, not just a quick easy photobook from Shutterfly, Snapfish, etc. (nothing wrong with them, I was just looking for a more upgraded type of photo book). The design process was very easy, I had tried a few other sites and it was overwhelming all the options, templates and customizations. Artifact Uprising has a clean layout and easy to navigate system. It made it super easy to upload my wedding photos and input them into my book. We absolutely love the book, we chose the flat lay (which the pages are thick and high quality) and it is a beautiful book. We definitely spent a pretty penny on it, but so worth it to have a gorgeous book recalling the most significant day of our lives. Thank you Artifact Uprising!

Wonderful and easy to make several albums with Artifact Uprising! We ordered the original layflat book for our own wedding album and the everyday photobooks as gifts for our parents. Cant wait to continue to use this company for the many memories still to come!

Artifact Uprising was recommended to me by my wedding planner. This is definitely an elevated wedding guest book or wedding photo album. I got both to match and have been so incredibly happy with the product. They’re super timely, quality is amazing and definitely things we will keep forever. We will be getting a large print for our house soon too. Only critique I would have is once you’ve created a couple projects the photos don’t seem to upload to the web profile as seamlessly. Some get errors and then you have to go back and re-upload.

OBSESSED! I finally printed my wedding photos in a signature layflat album and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner! Will cherish this keepsake for years to come :)

I have been a loyal customer for 12 years. I work as a photographer and always liked using AU’s products. But recently I was trying to make a wedding album and there was a glitch issue with the AU Editor screen and I could not log in. This was a HUGE issue for me and potentially for my client as well. I spoke with Alia through customer support and her emails were less than helpful. This company does not care that they are now losing almost a thousand dollars from me in the next month. They neglected to resolve my issue even after my most recent email where I asked where the miscommunication was and I asked to speak with someone by phone. It has now been over a week since I have heard a single response back and 2 weeks since my initial issue that I made clear needed immediate attention. Instead this entire time I was told to keep resetting me password which was absolutely not the issue! Luckily for me I had another trust worthy company to use to create my clients wedding album and it is much better so thankfully this issue didn’t cost me an even bigger problem! I was lucky it didn’t affect my business however I was completely disgusted and disheartened by the lack of respect from customer service. I have never had this issue with AU or any other company before. I would imagine this company will be going out of business. It just doesn’t make sense to do this to someone. This is not how you treat loyal customers or ANY customer for that matter. Complete negligence on Artifact Uprising’s part. I would never recommend this company to anyone EVER again. It used to be great but that is no longer the case. They didn’t even make a single attempt at rectifying this issue.... Sad and an absolute WASTE OF MY TIME.

of acknowledgement would have made me feel better but nope. I had to reach out multiple times before I got a response then it was just excuses blaming the carriers. Sorry did you expect the carriers to deliver by Christmas when you shipped it Christmas Eve?

I ordered a $350+ wedding book for my husband for Christmas this year. I noticed that the proofs on the website did not match the order of the proofs in the pdf reference they emailed me. I emailed Shannon (customer support) 6+ times the day after placing the order, letting her know that there is a difference between the order of photos in the pdf proof and their website. After 5 emails, she responded merely “your order is correct. Does that help?” To which I again numerous times responded that it does not match. Today I was shipped an incorrect $350+ gift book just as I suspected. I emailed multiple times to help clarify this however only 1 meager completely unhelpful response. I wouldn’t waste your money here. They have no respect for their customers. Take your money elsewhere.

I have to say I'm really disappointed in the small frame I just purchased for $76 bucks. Where do I start, the glass is plastic... that's pretty cheap. How much is this frame, you must have huge profit margins because this frame is honestly shit. The plastic edge is visible from the sides which are harshly cut and jagged and you can see that because the frame seems crooked. The plastic is also scratched on the front and there was a dark brown dot on the frame mat. I had to take the frame apart which is hard to do since it's crooked and the components do not fit together smoothly. I recleaned it and removed the brown dot but I shouldn't have to fix your mistakes. I'll have to spend more money to replace the plastic with glass but overall I think I may just scrap this frame altogether because it's garbage. So I just paid $76 bucks for a 5x7 print. This will be the one and only time I purchase this from you. Very disappointed.

I didn't realize until after I paid a $200 fee that Artifact is actually extremely limited in the design features for their albums. Layouts are limited and only for 2 page spreads. Even basic photo book services have more layout and design options than Artifact. No option to customize at all, not even with their design service. I was able to get my money back after some discussion. Customer service did try but also admitted that layout is limited and restrictive. I hope they look into this and make some adjustments to the design of books so albums are less cookie cutter.

This website is terrible! Uploading photos has been a total pain - slow, inconsistent and down right "failing" to upload over and over again. I have been trying to make an album and its been days of trying to upload my photos. I got good recommendations from friends so was hoping this website would work for us but am starting to rethink using them.

We used Artifact Uprising to create our wedding guest book using our professional engagement photos. Online formatting was easy to use and the intermediate proofing step ensured everything appeared exactly as it was supposed to. The book we received is high quality with thick pages that, as promised, lay flat so that guests may write on both sides without any difficulty. The printing was exceptional and our photographer complimented the final product when he saw it on our wedding day. It's the perfect keepsake containing all our guests' well wishes!

We used Artifact Uprising for our wedding album and parent wedding albums. We used the company’s wedding design services for our album. Lyndee and Meagen were a pleasure to work with. She had a wonderful vision for the album and it came out beautiful. For the parent albums, we designed them ourselves using Artifact Uprisings design software. It was really user friendly. When the albums arrived we were thrilled. They’re gorgeous in person and great quality.

We can't get over how beautiful our wedding guest book and personalized thank you cards turned out. My husband and I are now making a Layflat Album with the professional photos we recently received of our day — we know with this quality it'll last forever. Would recommend time and time again!

Their website is terrible! It crashed 4 times before we were able to finish our project. The outcome is beautiful, but really not worth the hassle of dealing with the website. Wouldn't use again.

They made all of my albums and they turn out beautiful. My wedding guest book, my wedding album, and my books for my parents and in-laws. I also did my bridesmaids gifts with them- their prints and holders were on point! And my thank you cards were perfect. There customer service team helped me with my editing issues I had, and it arrived before I had expected. I would recommend artifact to everyone!

Ordered our save the dates from Artifact Uprising. It took them multiple attempts to send us the correct envelope color that we ordered. In addition, we realized after we sent them that some of the cards (who knows how many) were a draft version where we still had "?????" instead of some of the text. Customer service is lacking. They have one person answering the phone for four hours a day. Their constant excuse for getting everything wrong and bad customer service is that they are a small company. Stay away!
