5 stars bar none. Saley is a wonderful person and passionate about what she does. We are very happy with how our wedding florals turned out and Saley made things easy and stress free from start to finish. I would recommend Artisan for anything floral related!
Saley is the BEST! Not only did she give such amazing ideas & suggestions to take our wedding to the next step, she delivered. She helped my wedding become better than I had ever dreamed. Her and her team get it done & work magic.
Saley and her team are the best! When I first met with Saley, shwas giving me all of these ideas and you could see her thoughts going through her head about the vision and what I wanted. While other people I met with just showed me pictures of previous work and didn’t really give me any ideas or help me with what I wanted. Saley and her team made my vision come to life and everything was beautiful! I brought in my own flowers and she worked with me to coordinate and make everything perfect!
We hired Saley for our wedding as she has close experience with our planner, Anthony Marinaro at Out of Box Productions. My fiance and I did not have a strong vision of what we wanted for our florals but we enjoyed Saley's passion and creativity. Saley understood our general "mood" for the wedding and we let her go with her own artistry. I was floored by how gorgeous the geometric backdrop she created was and each table centerpiece was stunning. Saley and her team also worked quickly and were all so kind when I stopped by to watch the team assemble all the florals. Saley also demonstrated some great ideas for moving florals from the ceremony space to the reception ballroom and made sure each part of our budget was used. I considered the pricing to be fair and appreciated how Saley worked with in-season florals effectively.
Amazing shop. The staff was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. I ordered centerpieces for 6 tables for an engagement party. The flowers were breathtaking, gorgeous, fresh and unique. It’s 3 days later and the arrangements are still making me smile ear to ear. We are so lucky to have this shop in the east village.
Saley and her staff did an amazing job with our wedding!! She helped bring my vision to life and helped make it better. She was flexible and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her!!
Our son & daughter-in-law’s wedding reception was absolutely stunning and flawlessly executed and it we owe it all to Saley & Anthony (Artisan Floral and Events by Saley & Out-Of-Box Weddings). Living in New York City and the bride & groom in Shanghai, Saley & Anthony were there every single step of the way from the concept and design of the wedding, from vendor selection to organizing and facilitating all vendors, and providing us with professional guidance in a non-obtrusive and tasteful way. Planning a long distance wedding reception is not easy.
You will spend a lot of time communicating with whichever planner you choose, so it's hard to overstate how important it is to actually like them. Saley & Anthony and their team are top shelf in terms of both professionalism and personality. It's worth noting that one of the best parts of working with them is that, besides being great at their jobs, they're also wonderful people. At every step of the process, they were kind, understanding, helpful, and, most importantly, consummate professionals who navigated obstacles with ease and made the planning process exciting, not overwhelming.
With all of our faith in Saley & Anthony we couldn't have imagined how beautiful the evening would turn out. Saley took our Chinese-inspired concept and transformed The Conservatory into Old Shanghai with hanging lanterns, parasols and vintage lighting, along with stunning flower arrangements. The room glowed.
We received overwhelming compliments on not only the design details, but how smooth, elegant and effortless the wedding reception was. It was the best decision we could have ever made to hire Out-Of-Box Weddings and Artisan Floral and Events by Saley to plan our wedding and feel so lucky to have worked with them.
Saley did a beautiful job on our flowers! When we met with Saley initially we gave her a few images that we liked and she really seemed to understand what look we were going for and how to best achieve that within our budget. When we met to go over the table setting, she really knocked it out of the park! Beautiful, tasteful and better than we could have imagined. The day of our wedding was more of the same. My bouquet and the garland hanging from the floating arch were perfect! I can’t recommend her enough!
Saley had outstanding ideas and flawless execution of the design & theme my daughter chose for her wedding! Saley is a genius in the floral industry! She made the venue a magical place!
Without even much detail on what I wanted - Saley and her team were able to create exactly what was in my head. Her attention to detail is everything. The flowers were perfect. Decorations were simple yet purposeful (we didn't want a ton of decorations). She was able to utilize so many things we had on hand to create a picture perfect wedding. It was beyond anything I could have imagined. We used Saley as a wedding planner as well and I can't say enough good things about her. She made sure that everything went smoothly and I was unaware if anything out of the plan happened as to not worry me. She is well worth the money for beauty and organization that she brings to a wedding and an event. 100 thumbs up!
Saley did an amazing job! She listened to the design ideas my daughter and my now son-in-law and offered suggestions from time to time. I wasn’t sure how she was going to pull it off but the end result was so stunning (absolutely magical) and was above what I had envisioned! Thanks Saley for making their dreams come true on their very special day!!
Saley is THE absolute best! We had a unique vision for our wedding floral arrangements and she captured exactly what we wanted... AND MORE! She helped problem-solve and brought so many wonderful ideas to the table. We received so many compliments on our floral arrangements! I can’t recommend her enough… her work speaks for itself!
Where do I start? Saley is amazing. My son and daughter-in-law had a vision of what they wanted. Saley listened and made that vision a reality. She transformed the venue into a tropical paradise. She is so creative and came up with practical solutions. The day of the wedding, Saley and her crew created a gorgeous space for the ceremony and then during cocktail hour quickly flipped the Tea Room for dinner and dancing. I can’t say enough good things about her. I would recommend her to everyone.
I can't say enough about how beautiful our arrangements and décor were for our NYE wedding. I didn't have anything specific in mind other that "all white". I highly recommend!! Loved her ideas and vision.
Megan McDaniel with DiVine is the most wonderful, thorough planner- she alone will remove any stress from your wedding!
we loved all ofthe bridalparty floral butwere very disappoInted inthe wreath, was overpriced, small, anddid notfit with theother floral
Saley was AMAZING!! I was nervous about everything, and so worried that the reception and wedding would not be as I had envisioned in my mind, and I was right...IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER. Saley and her team were on top of it. The day went smoothly and everything was much better than I, my fiance, or Mom could have imagined. She truly went above and beyond, as did her assistant Marely. I would use them again for events and recommend them to anyone. Our wedding day went flawlessly; I didn't have a worry in the world.
Overpriced, and didn't listen to what we really wanted. Definitely didn't make our vision happen. Made me feel bad like it was my fault on my wedding day and had me almost in tears. Then she drank from our open bar.
I went with Divine Flowers (or Magnolia 105 in West Glen) by Saley to get a great experience with a local vender for my wedding. I loved the idea of supporting local business instead of going with a bigger company like Boesen. I wish I did go with Boesen though unfortunately. Months before the wedding I had to cut my cost down to just chairs for the ceremony and my wedding party/ family flowers. It was still costly, and when I would meet with her she would try to get me to either rent or use more flowers to raise the price back up even though she knew we were on a reasonable budget. I wanted to incorporate vintage peices along with modern and she was discouraging my DIY projects in place of her own. About 4 weeks before the wedding I asked her about 3 cylindar vases with just a floating candle in the middle(for each table) nothing over the top, just something cost affective that would add something extra to the tables. She insisted on a flower in the water so I said that might look nice and to just put something together for me and email me the updated bid. Even though she knew we were on a smaller budget, she updated my bid and added an extra $800+ for the vases with ORCHIDS in them. By this time I said just get rid of the vases and everything. She told me my room would be too much white so again she insisted on my cake table having a table cloth in cream that was $25 dollars to rent. That is over priced for a table cloth and I rented my large white table cloths from Jasper Winery for $8 per table. Here are a couple of other things that were extremely frustrating... She would not return my emails (especially the closer it got to the wedding), her employees were very rude and were difficult to get anything done through them, when the chairs were delivered more than 20 were broken and had to be replaced, and most of all which just annoys me to no end... my bouquets which were the one thing that I designed with her in her shop in west glen came the day of looking nothing like what I wanted. The ribbon was completely wrong, I had just white astilbe so that wasn't hard to get right. They were nothing like what I told her I wanted and she didn't even call or email me to let me know, she just dropped them off. The boutonnieres of course didn't look anything like what I wanted and they were falling apart when we were putting them on. I ended up doing a lot of DIY and it was absolutely perfect. If you want a vender that caters to you on one of the most wonderful/stressful times of your life do NOT go with Divine Flowers by Saley.
Firstly, Saley is now at a new location on Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines called Magnolia 105.
Now, onto the more important details: Saley and her team do an amazing job. We had her provide practically everything: linens, tables, goblets, silverware, flowers, up lighting, drapery, even a podium for our readers during the ceremony. She was able to pin down the style of wedding we were looking for almost instantly, and she's open to your ideas at any point along the way (I asked her if we could add a new type of flower about 3 weeks before the wedding itself. She had them incorporated into the whole design without any problem at all).
We also booked her for her day of services, where she and her staff essentially become your wedding coordinators. They have walkie talkies to stay in touch with one another, come to check on you to see if there's anything you need, and basically have everything set up and organized to a perfect T. Without her, our wedding day couldn't have been nearly as successful or relaxed. I highly, highly recommend her!!
Everything was just as we wanted and turned out great!
we met with Saley about a year and a half before our wedding. She was very thorough in her assessment of what we were wanting and I felt like she saw my vision. When our big day finally came, everything was exactly as we had imagined it and it was breathtaking. The flowers she did were beautiful as well! We all loved our bouquets and corsages! We highly recommend them!
Our wedding was gorgeous and we couldn't have done it without Saley. She worked her magic!
Saley knows her stuff and has great creative insight. She is willing to work with any budget.
