Reed was excellent and was so patient with my crazy wedding crew! He showed us pictures throughout the day and gave us an idea of what he was capturing. He had so many great ideas for our pictures. I highly recommend this company! 🩷

Our experience with Artistic Differences has been so amazing! Our originally wedding was supposed to be April 25, 2020, but due to Covid we had to reschedule not once but twice and were finally able to have our big day on April 24, 2021. From the beginning Reed was such a pleasure to work with and during all the rescheduling he was so reassuring during all the uncertainty. We used Artistic Differences for both a photographer and videographers and both were so amazing! Reed was very good with directing for poses for the pictures and the videographers and Reed were so in sync all day/night, which made everything so much easier! Reed and his videographers were so professional, so helpful and just so incredibly easy to work with! We really appreciate everything they did to capture our big day and for being so understanding and helpful during the rescheduling due to Covid! We would recommend Artistic Differences to anyone needing a photographer or videographer!

I could not have chosen a better photographer! Professional, responsive, and they clearly love what they do! They were recommended to us by a couple who hired them for their wedding, and the pictures are STUNNING! The packages are very reasonably priced, especially considering how high the quality of their work is! It is extremely important to me to have a responsive vendor, especially since I was a COVID bride. We would receive responses almost immediately any time we reached out with questions/updates. Very nice, professional, and they made sure our day was perfect! I cannot recommend them enough!

Update: I left my original post in case the same thing is happening to you. We finally were able to reach Reed and uncover some miscommunications/confusion that happened during the time of our wedding. They were going through the process of changing ownership. Yes we are still frustrated by everything, but time heals all wounds. Reed did an amazing job of rectifying the situation and righting the wrong. He was able to find our video, edit, and send it to us completed under a few weeks. We are very pleased with our video, a lasting memory of one of the most amazing days in our lives. After speaking with Reed and resolving the issue, we do recommend artistic difference. Old Post: My husband and I were married in October 2018. We chose Artistic difference based on their reviews and website. They were professional during the wedding which made us never expect to NOT receive our video. We are extremely disappointed that we will never be able to see the parts we missed on our wedding day. Anytime we talk about our wedding it always comes up didn’t you have a video done, yes we did but we NEVER received it. The worse part...we tried multiple times and ways (email/facebook/phone) to contact artistic difference and they NEVER responded. Yes we would love to have our money back, but the worse business practice is poor customer service and being deceitful. We gave them over a year to have the opportunity to give us the video or an explanation and nothing.... we have decided to write this review to prevent other couples planning their big wedding day and finding an honest photographer/videographer to deliver the lasting memories of their big day from going through, and missing out on what we thought we were paying for. I based my choice off of reviews, so if we can’t get our money back, then at-least we can get it back by preventing other people from going through what we did. That’s justice.

My choice of photographer is my only regret of my wedding, but unfortunately it is a big one. The owner, Phil, was our photographer. He was on our venue's preferred vendor list so I figured it was a good choice. We had a nice engagement session that was included. I will say he is a talented photographer for the usual cookie-cutter type pictures. However, the day of my wedding, the entire time he was rushing to get pictures done and made no effort to be engaging or likable. He had a team of 3 people, but no one went to the groom's hotel room to take pictures of the groomsman. When we were doing group pictures before the ceremony, he did them all in one spot, despite us being on a beautiful golf course with so many places to take pictures (a venue he knew very well too). When I asked him if we could go to other places, he actually gave me push back and got annoyed. He was rude, acted bored and uninterested, and literally made me feel like crap on my wedding day. My bridal party and family were appalled. I was just sad but tried not to let it get to me. Fast forward to the wedding reception, he barely took pictures of my family and friends, just of the dance floor. We have no group pictures except one that I had requested the DJ do of my college friends, and one that my dad asked him to do. He only took pictures of the dance floor. He never pulled me and my husband aside to take some pictures during the reception. There was no creativity in his work and he truly acted like he did not give a crap. Now, on to the results. Remember the spot where he insisted we take ALL of the pictures? There were ugly spotlights sticking out of the ground of a tree right behind us, and he didn't edit any of them out of the pictures. I had to ask him to edit them out and he did only when I asked. I liked a lot of the black and white pictures his assistant took, and he did convert those to color pictures for me when I asked, so that was maybe the one positive. That was the extent of him being cooperative and nice. I had bought the second-most expensive package with video. Beware of his definition of a "videographer", as he brought someone who looked like they were in training - he had to give her directions on how to work the camera. The video and highlight video are poor quality, no creativity - don't expect a cool wedding video to post on social media if that is what you are expecting. Heartbreaking disappointment.

We hired Artistic Difference for our photographer, and videographer. They were amazing! They did an engagement shoot with us, which helped prep us for the day of the wedding. They knew exactly how much time we would need for day of wedding pictures, and were extremely quick at getting them done! Phil and Reed were great to work with, and always available if we had any questions! They are very experienced, and have been doing this for a long time! Highly recommend, they have packages for all sorts of budgets!

Phil did an AMAZING job. I can't stop looking through the photos from that day - he got both so many great posed and candid photos. I couldn't be happier!

Phil was so laid-back and easy to work with from the start, which made wedding planning much more pleasant for us. But he really blew us away the day of our wedding. Phil seemed to go above and beyond, making sure everything was running smoothly and even offering a ride to the groom’s parents back to the reception after the ceremony when space ran out in the limo! He was kind and professional to all of our guests and family members, yet somehow kept everyone in line to make sure everything was perfect. I got married in the same church my parents were married in, and had a few photos from their wedding I wanted to imitate and Phil took this request very seriously and made sure he replicated them as much as possible. It also snowed that night, but Phil wasn’t phased at all and instead took gorgeous shots of us outside. He made our day less stressful and more carefree and laid-back, which was just what we wanted but yet we still got the amazing, quality pictures we also wanted. We would highly recommend him to anyone!

Like every couple we did our research and tried to find the best reviewed vendors for our big day. We didn’t try to haggle much or skimp on things because we understood, you get what you pay for. This may be true some times, but in our case for a photographer and videographer, the glowing reviews were misleading. We have left glowing reviews for all of our other vendors but unfortunately this is not the case with Artistic Difference and Phil Savard. Our wedding was 8/26/2017 and unfortunately, I am just able to write this review because we have just received the final due out item. I will say overall we are very happy with the outcome of the photos themselves, but the timing, turnaround, video production, and the video editing all leave something to be desired. Our first issue was encountered when our guests received access to our photos 3 weeks after the wedding via guest accounts before we had even seen any of the pictures. Guests should never be provided access to any items prior to the Bride & Groom who are paying for the services have given approval. It is their wedding after all and their viewing of the photos should be priority. Our version of photos for viewing and download were not ready for an additional 2 weeks. Our wedding video was not provided to us until nearly 4 months after the wedding on 12/21/2017. The video itself had a lot of bad shooting angles and zoom. The entire ceremony was shot from the back of the aisle for the first portion and zoomed in a bit after rather than having cameras closer to the actual ceremony. The walk down the aisle captures the first few seconds of the front of the bridal party walking to the aisle, but no footage of anyone actually walking down the aisle. Once the Bride walked down the aisle, you saw only the back of her head for the walk. The audio during the ceremony was affected by interference in the area and the video was provided to us with audio cutting in and out. While this was fixed a few days after mentioning it to Phil, this should have never been delivered to us without that audio issue resolved. Now for the highlight Video. We wanted to have a highlight video so we could share this abridged version with all of our friends and family who could not join us. While the video came out well (We sent in a list of requests and fixes based off what we had seen from our full video and wanted changed), it took nearly 6 months for us to receive this video. Mind you our wedding was 8/26/17 and we didn’t received our highlight video until 2/23/18. We were diligent in checking in on progress, responding promptly to every request for songs or input but it was always a response from Phil of we are working on it, or we are working on other couples videos who had not yet seen their wedding videos, or some other delay of providing the actual output. We were very clear with our expectations and they were not met. 4 months for a wedding video and 6 months for highlight video are clearly unacceptable turnaround times, and that timing was with consistent reminders and requests for status updates. Again, we were happy with our photos, but the remainder of services left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately we are unable to recommend Artistic Difference to any other couples, and hope that future couples may learn from our experience and find another vendor to capture their important day.

Phil was incredible! 'Flexibility' doesn't even begin to explain what I put him through. We got married during a snow storm... OUTSIDE. Phil wasn't even phased. He simply threw on a coat and went to work taking the most incredible photos

These photographers were amazing to work with and the pictures online are GORGEOUS, to say the least!! I am very impressed with all of the pictures. Phil is wonderful with communication during the planning phase as well as right before the wedding.One disappointment was that I was under the impression that Phil would be one of my photographers which was not the case- I found out 2 weeks before the wedding, although Reed did excellent work. I am still waiting for all of my package because my wedding was only 3 weeks ago but of course that is to be expected. I would recommend this company as long as you had a list of photos you wanted and made sure they stuck to the plan!

I'm giving this a 4 and I'll explain why. Let me first be clear that Reed and Billy did an amazing job. They showed up on time and dressed nicely to blend in with the guests. Reed was very understanding (whether he wanted to be or not lol) that I preferred specific photos and that I didn't want to be told which poses to do. I didn't want the traditional cookie cutter wedding photos and Reed was open to my suggestions. He even saved the day when I forgot my necklace and a bridesmaid needed a tampon. A plus for those guys. My photos were beautiful.They were the type of men I'd have invited to the wedding if they weren't the photographers because they were great to get along with. My first issue is that it was never discussed that Phil was not going to be my photographer. He led me to believe as we discussed that he'd be there on the day of the wedding. Fast forward to a month before the wedding and I find out Phil isn't going to be my photographer. Okay, not too thrilled about that, but I'm not an unreasonable person so I dealt with it. My second and biggest issue with this is that for the price tag, the follow up is a one star. While yes, the photos were digitally available on the 3 week mark, the rest of the "package" was like pulling teeth. I was the one who had to contact him about getting the disc of photos, I was the one who had to contact him about the storybook I should have received, and the dvd with photos and music..Well I've given up on that because it will be my one year anniversary until I'd get it. I'm honestly kind of thankful we didn't get videography because waiting for that would stink. The work is worth the price tag, so please don't think I'm not completely satisfied with the final product. The storybook album we received was a 4 month long process of getting, and that's ONLY after I had to ask about it. There are tons of people who haven't gotten to even see our photos because we were waiting on the album. Not everyone has facebook or the ability to see the website where the photos were uploaded. We've been married for 9 months.Again, the final product is beautiful. I can't say that I wouldn't recommend them because their work is wonderful. I didn't want to be that bride that pestered a vendor. My only suggestion would be follow up emails after the wedding to ensure your stuff comes in a timely manner

We went with Phil after he was listed as a recommended vendor from our venue and we weren't disappointed! Phil's prices were appealing and he answered all of my questions quickly. On the day of he made sure that all of my opinions were listened to while also moving quickly, which was something I wanted. All of my photos have turned out beautifully!

Phil and his photographers were amazing to work with for our wedding. His packages and prices are just about unbeatable and the pictures are perfect! He definitely knows how to catch the right angle :) On the day of the wedding he kept things moving, kept things on track, and kept me (the bride) calm and relaxed throughout the entire night. Not to mention I was married on New Years Eve, so it was nice that he was able to get some pretty awesome shots quickly, because its was cold outside. He sent us a couple of teaser pictures the next morning, which made us both so happy to see some of the shots. We got the rest of our photos about a month after the wedding and were absolutely in love with them. Thank you all so much for all the memories!

Reed was great! He showed up on time, ready to go. We got a lot of photos done before the ceremony, without having to see each other, so we could enjoy more of our reception. He was super creative in working around the thunderstorm that showed up right before the ceremony. Throughout the night he showed me a few great photos that he shot so I wasn't concerned at all that he would miss anything and I new the photos looked great. He even pulled up my Pinterest board and made sure to capture the specific photos that I really wanted. The photos were promised to us three weeks after the wedding and they were right on time. Definitely recommend Artistic Difference and Reed to everyone!!

We went to Artistic Difference for our wedding photography after many of our friends recommended them. Phil answered all of our questions very fast. Their prices are also great. Reed photographed our wedding and he was very easy to work with and did a great job. When we met with Phil we asked for a DJ recommendation and actually DJ's as well. It was nice to have one company handle the photography and DJ. Phil did a great job with playing all the music we wanted and keeping people dancing all night

We worked with both photographers and absolutely loved them both. They were so easy to work and get along with. They are extremely reasonably priced for the amount of things you get with each package. Not to mention, the photos are amazing.

Phil was great throughout the whole process. He was very responsive to all questions and professional. He is a very personable guy, which makes smiling for a bunch of pictures in front of him much more enjoyable. Photos turned out great with am impressive quantity to choose from. Phil rocks. He answered all of my emails incredibly quick. Phil knew exactly what to do the day of the wedding and made the picture portion fly by. When we did our consultation he had answered all of our questions without us even needing to ask. We don't have our pictures back quite yet (3 more days!) but I saw a little preview the day of and I know they'll be perfect!!! We had gotten our videographer through them also and can't wait to see the video. They weren't intrusive during the ceremony or reception at all and we're both super nice!! Definitely recommend them!!!

We used Artistic Difference as our photographer and videographer for our wedding day. I was immediately impressed with the price of the package that we chose. Our wedding planner had created a timeline suggesting the pictures start at 1:30 with us girls finishing up hair and makeup at the spa on site, however I was told they only start 2-2 1/2 hours before the ceremony start time. When the pictures started at 3:00 until 5:00 we all felt so rushed. All of our pictures were taken in two locations (the hotel lobby and the ceremony/reception site room). The venue we chose has so many beautiful spots--indoor and outdoor--for pictures (billiards room, bar, wood barn doors, staircase, balcony) so we felt a little cheated. I have seen so many other wedding pictures taken at our venue and there are many possibilities that were not offered to us from our photographer. I wish that Phil would have done a little more research if he was unfamiliar with our venue. They missed the garter being put on the leg of my sister/bridesmaid, and my matron of honor had to set it up again by saying the guy put it on the wrong leg just so we could get pictures. I also had to take pictures of our rings the day after the wedding because we never got pictures of them by the photographer. I guess maybe we should have gone with two photographers instead so we'd have more variety and not have felt so rushed. We haven't seen our pictures yet although we were told they would be available to view online five days ago. I'm worried and anxious about our pictures not being everything I'm hoping for from our dream-come-true wedding, but I'm staying optimistic that the pictures and the video will be just as perfect as everything else.

Working with Phil was an absolute pleasure. Leading up to the wedding he was very helpful with working with our budget and picking a package that worked for us. He also answered any questions we had and was a pleasure to be around. He knew the best places at our venue to take the best and most breathtaking photographs. He worked around special request photographs like a pro, and during the ceremony and reception you didn't even know he was there. I would highly recommend Artistic Difference Photography to any bride!!

Phil shot our engagement photos as well as my bridal shower and both times the pictures came out wonderful. On the day of the wedding Reed and Justin were so helpful, even putting the boutonnieres on the guys! After staged photos were over you barely noticed that either were at the ceremony or the reception! Very friendly to all of our guests and would recommend to a friend!

Phil took awesome pictures and he is very good at getting a big group organized. He does like to do things his way, so it was hard to convince him to do some things my way and not the usual way he did them. He also has an awesome photo station that was the biggest hit at my wedding!

They were the best! They kept our day running smoothly, we had a great time with them and the pictures are beautiful. I cannot wait to see the video!!!

I recently had Phil and his guys at my wedding!! They were absolutely fantastic!! Their professionalism and quality of work is beyond anything I could imagine. They knew what photos to take and the best angle to get the perfect shot. After seeing my photos I was so happy and they exceeded my expectations. I would recommend him to anyone. THE BEST! Do not even look at any other photographers! Look at their website and that's all you need!!!! Such great picture ideas and amazing photographers to work with! Ask for Reed and Billy! At first I was opposed to having two males and wanted at least one female, but I am so glad I stuck with them both. They both made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and always had me laughing!! Everyone found them such a joy to work with!! I will be seeing them in the future to have pictures done with my hubby and our baby that is on the way!!

my matron of honor recommended this photographer from her wedding, and I remembered how awesome they had been for her (I was her maid of honor 4 years ago). well, nothing changed--these guys were fabulous! reed, chris, and chris were everywhere the night of our wedding, but were never "seen" (great during the ceremony). I have been to weddings where the photographer obstructs the view of the guests, but from what I hear, that did not happen at ours--this was really important to me, so I asked around later. at the end of the night, they told my husband they had taken over 1500 pictures. super! we met with the owner, philip, at his home/studio in york. super nice guy, really wants to give you the best. the primary photographer reed is awesome. they were very patient with me on our wedding day. it POURED, and our first look and formal photos were not taken at the same location as where I was supposed to get dressed, however, because of the rain, we had to change things and were running very behind. they still took care of business, got everything finished before the ceremony, and we still had time to go enjoy cocktail hour. overall, these guys were awesome. I haven't received my photos yet, as it has only been 2 1/2 weeks since our wedding, and they post them online after 21 days, but I expect they will be nothing but fabulous. major perks: full rights to all the photos; photos given to you on a CD; photos available online for purchase by guests and anyone who views them on the website for 90 days; video should be in my hands by halloween (we got married 8/13); can choose between dvd or bluray format for your video (our package included 3 copies); choice of a number of formats/materials/etc for photobook; GREAT value for the money!

LOVED working with Artistic Difference! Highly recommend them. Phil was our photographer. He came early and took some pictures before the ceremony so guests didn't have to wait forever afterwards. He also allowed us to drive to another location to take outdoor pictures. He was very flexible and super efficient! He got the job done without being pushy or over the top. Our pictures turned out great and they were all in high def. There were about 600 pictures in all. We also used Artistic Difference for our video. They edited it very nicely and used songs that we chose. It looks professional and not just like a home video. I would definitely recommend using Artistic Difference for wedding photography. They are reasonably priced and do an awesome job!

Phil and his team are great. They are really easy to work with and know a lot about photography. They capture all the little moments that you would want. Phil also gave us a little preview of our pictures at the wedding. Very professional and would highly recommend.

Phil was very knowledgeable about any photography questions in addition to broad questions pertaining to weddings. His experience made us all relax.

Phil and his team did a wonderful job at our wedding. They were very profession and easy to talk to. However, the very best pictures in the whole album were done by the black and white photographer (I believe his name was Reed). These pictures captured the heart of the day the very best, as well as fun things that were going on that I was too busy to notice at the moment. Looking back there were pictures that I wished I had asked for, since they were so great about my other requested shots. I would highly recommend this crew.

He was very easy to work with, inobtrusive and a great photographer!

He was very fast and efficient, taking about 15 minutes after the ceremony to take the formal pictures. Even though he was fast, he took amazing photos. He captured all the highlights of the wedding and reception, focusing on taking shots as they occured, not having us pose for every since one. It makes looking back on the pictures more life-like. We had no time limit for his services the day of the wedding. He had the proofs online for all guests to see using our special ID and password. We also received a copy of every single photo taken in an album.
