his is an add on to my previous review. Emily and Mark are beyond amazing photographers. They are easy going, but will handle business to make sure they get their shots in. I am floored by all the photos they have taken for not only my bridals but for our wedding day as well. They showed up on our wedding day and immediately got to work. They kept things feeling light and natural, while only having to “stage” a photo when necessary. They captured silly moments between family staged photos that exude what my family is about. I would recommend Emily and Mark for your photographers 100%. Just completed my bridal session and OMG, wow! Mark and Emily are simply amazing! I am beyond thrilled with the responses and feedback from my bridal session, and I am even more excited bc now I know exactly how fantastic my wedding photos will be now! Emilee and her dad were so much fun to work with and they were super helpful (her dad tied my husband’s tie and she helped bustle my dress for me and removed my veil). They fit right in at our wedding and the reception. Our guests loved them and so did we.

Mark and Emily were amazing! Not only did we enjoy working with them and they were there for every moment of our wedding, but our guests loved the prints of them throughout the night as well! Definitely recommend!

Absolutely perfect! Very understanding and listened to my concerns about getting the perfect photos at my wedding. The pictures turned out great and having them on a flash drives is awesome. Emily was super sweet and so helpful throughout the wedding.

There aren't enough words for me to say how great Emily was for our special day!! She was on time and came and set up and got to work right away she truley cared about the wedding and us as if she new us she got many candid photos which are my favorite and she was so professional! She stayed in contact with us before and after the wedding and her Turn around time for our pictures was amazing seeing as she does all of her editing in house! We loved our photos and would highly reccomend her to anyone! We will definitely be using her for upcoming events and to all our friends getting married we will be giving them her name! I was impressed from the first minute with Emily and Mark. I inquired about their services on a Sunday morning and got a reply within a few hours that gave me all the information I could possibly have needed. When we met with them, we knew right away that they were the photographers for us. They are just honest, good, down to Earth people. I feel so blessed to have come across this company! I have never felt more relaxed and comfortable in front of a camera as I did with these two. I have a large family and it is very hard to get a good picture with everyone in it. Mark and Emily arranged everyone perfectly and even were able to get all of the kids facing the camera and smiling at the same time! There were several gorgeous photos that I would not have today if it was not for their amazing eye! Love these guys! Wonderful work, service, and ideas. I have used their talent for several shoots (engagements, bridals, wedding day), and am blown away each time. If you don't hire them for your big day, then you aren't getting the best DFW has to offer!

Emily and Mark are amazing p! It was important to me to have 2 photographers but I didn't want to compromise my budget or the quality of the photos, so Artistry in Focus was perfect. My fiancé is very camera shy but they made us both feel very comfortable during our engagement shoot, and went above and beyond to make sure they got the shots we were looking for. Booking them has taken stress off of my plate and I have beautiful photos to show for it. If you are looking for a photographer that is personable, affordable, and goes above and beyond for your day, Mark and Emily are the perfect choice!!

Mark and Emily are wonderful! I would highly recommend them because they produce quality work for an affordable price. We even received two photographers so they captured every moment of our big day. They know exactly what they are doing and give you tips on how to pose to produce the best picture. They know the wedding business so we asked for a DJ recommendation and we ended up hiring who they suggested. Book early because they are worth it!

Emily and her dad were amazing at our wedding. They scouted at our venue two weeks before the wedding so they were ready to take every shot. They showed up on time and kept in great communication with me during the weeks before the big day. Our photos were turned around in 2 weeks, and look WONDERFUL!!! They also give full photo rights, which was the most important aspect of a photographer to me. I highly recommend them!

I found them through the Knot and can't say enough about how great they were. You get a team of two photographers who listen to your preferences and strive to make you a satisfied client. They're responsive and so easy to work with. I used them for our engagement shoot, bridals, and wedding. Pictures turned out amazing!!!

Mark and Emily were absolutely amazing. They answered any and all questions we had about the photos when we first met with them and throughout the entirety of our work with them (engagement session and wedding). When it came to our engagement session we found out they are willing to work with their clients to get them the shots that they desire, in a location that's representative of their clients. They take so many photos and let you decide which ones will get edited and kept. Emily is amazing both behind the camera shooting as well as setting up how the shots should look for Mark to get the best photos possible. On our wedding day, they were calm and relaxed and ready to take photos. They took so many amazing and beautiful pictures, I don't know how to thank them. They also are very quick with their turnaround time; we had our photos only a couple of weeks after our wedding! Thank you Mark and Emily for EVERYTHING you did, it was amazing work! You are both WONDERFUL to work with!

My experience with Artistry in Focus was superior. They represent the utmost in professionalism, kindness, and flexibility. They are people of their word and are supremely trustworthy. Their candor and presence of mind made the entire day a breeze from the standpoint of photos. When it comes to scheduling and time management during and between components of the wedding, they were masterful. And the most important part of any photography, the final product, was exquisite. Their finished photos were among the most beautiful I have ever laid eyes to. The skill and precision of their shots, angles, and exposures made the final turnout excellent for us. To say that I would not recommend ANYONE ELSE to do wedding photography would be a masterpiece of understatement. I am making this post PURELY on the CONSULTATION we just had with Mark and Emily this evening just to brag on how AMAZING they are. Like any bride can attest, interviewing different vendors can be quite stressful-the pressure is everywhere to reserve, make deposits, and sign contracts. This is NOT the case with Mark and Emily. They understand the stress we as brides are feeling, and they respect your decision should you choose to think things over before making such an important decision. They are professional, but also personable. Sitting with them today, we were given the overall run-through of the event, got to see PRINTS of work they had done in the past (in various sizes), and were given information in a straight-forward, pressure-free way. We personally have a few more things pending before we make our final decision, but regardless of how our decision sways, if Mark and Emily's personalities and quality of work on our big day are anything like what we saw tonight, we would have no reservations recommending them WITHOUT BOOKING 110%.

Emily and Mark were so professional and sweet! They were efficient and fun! They were able to get my family of 50 people together for one shot for my sister's wedding in less than ten minutes! They actually LISTEN to YOU!!!! They hear what you want and make you feel comfortable. They are the best people to share your special days with. I loved them. They are truly the best people to capture and share your special moments.

This father-daughter duo was the perfect balance of classic and contemporary photography! Before and after the wedding, their communication was amazing! I always knew what their plan was, and they worked so hard to make sure everything on their end went smoothly. They were so amazing, I honestly didn't realize they were there throughout the whole night. I received my pictures just two weeks after the big day, right after we got home from the honeymoon! I used Artistry in Focus for our engagement photos First and instantly loved the father/daughter team. They listened to what I wanted and would show me the photos taken before moving onto the next pose. They were amazing on our wedding day. We have tons of pictures to remember our special day. Mark and Emily were amazing!!!!! As a bride on a budget I was nervous about the pricing, but it was worth everything. They were professional, they got to my wedding earlier than expected (mine was not in Dallas), Emily had gotten sick the day before and still showed up, they were great with kids (which helped when my niece and nephew were grumpy), and the pictures were beautiful before editing (I can't wait to get them back in about two weeks!!!!). They listened to what I needed/wanted and were very accommodating to a lot of situations before the wedding when setting everything up. They could honestly charge more for the services they provide, but we were very blessed that they fit our price range and were available the day we needed them. They are good Christian people and Mark even prayed with my mother while she was running around making sure everything was perfect. If you're looking for amazing wedding photographers go with Artistry in Focus because you won't be disappointed!

I absolutely LOVE Mark and Emily! They were so much fun making every shoot a special memory and laid back which kept me from stressing. From the moment I sat down with Emily and Mark I knew these two photographers were going to be the best I had met with yet. They are very humble and extremely talented! They talked to me about what I was looking for, and took notes and made helpful suggestions. We had an engagement shoot, bridals and wedding day. Each shoot they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the shots and the locations. They always made me feel comfortable and at ease. The day of our wedding was amazing!! Emily helped a week before to come up with times to do everything, and the day of she helped keep us on track and made sure we were enjoying our selves. They were very quick and efficient when it came time to do pictures after the ceremony, so we could attend to our guest. At the reception they got out on the dance floor and captured so many fun memory's. My husband and I did not have a videographer, and chose to have photography only. I can't begin to explain how extremely happy we are with our photos, they captured our day so perfectly! We have been married for 3 years now, and I called Emily and asked her if she could get me another disc of our wedding day, engagements and bridals since we have moved I had misplaced them. Without hesitation she took care of it and personally delivered them to me two days later. They say pictures last forever, and that it's the most important part of a wedding besides the vows. I couldn't agree more, but I would also have to say the person behind the camera makes all the difference! I have recommended these guys to so many people! My cheeks hurt from smiling so big looking at my wedding pictures. They captured so many candids so quickly when I go through the photos it is almost like a video. There were parts of the ceremony that are hazy in my memory and parts that I worried people would disapprove of, Mark and Emily captured EVERY minute of my ceremony and to my delight they captured my friends and family smiling and laughing during parts I was worried about. I had so much fun my wedding day and the photos capture all of it in a way that brings the day back. They are easy to work with and are quite responsive. I was a guest at a wedding who used Artistry in Focus. We got to chatting with Emily and she was very personable and ready to get involved with taking great guest photos for the bride and groom. The pictures I have seen so far have come out fabulous!

From the first conversation I had with Emily on the phone, after talking with other photographers, I could tell they were passionate about their work and not after the fast sell. When I met with Emily and Mark, they showed samples of their work to get a feel for what I wanted and to demonstrate the quality I could expect. I was not disappointed. I have my bridals back, which I did with my groom and they are stunning. I hate taking pictures, but that day was so much fun and easy and relaxing we have too many great, not good, pictures to choose from! Every few shots they would show me what we had just taken to make sure I was happy and to let me know how what they envisioned actually translated into the shot. Emily has been my contact and is incredibly responsive. She responds to texts and emails in under 24 hours, often immediately. She is receptive to my ideas and last minute changes and patient with my idiosyncrasies. I am pleased with the service, price and product and would recommend them without reservation!

The portrait package was explained in detail on the 1st meeting, also the price was quoted. They are very fair & reasonable in price. The bridal portraits were done so beautifully in the Dallas Arboretum. Mark & Emily made sure each pose was done perfect & to our liking as well, they turned out great. The wedding day, Mark & Emily were very professional but yet so involved with every detail we felt they were there for us personally to help make every minute of getting the bride & groom ready to the last pictures taken as our daughter & new son in-law left the reception. I knew when I decided to hire Artistry in Focus that their work was already amazing. I did not realize how satisfied I was really going to be with how everything is turning out. I just did my bridal pictures two weeks ago and I was really nervous about taking a ton of pictures with just me in them. I didnt want to look awkward or end up not loving the pictures. From the very beginning of the shoot, I was so comfortable and it ended up being such a relief. They showed me the pictures on their camera after we changed settings and I was already so impressed. Artistry in Focus is hands down the best photography business in Dallas! They were incredible with me and my fiancé during our engagement session. Though our wedding hasn't happened yet, we had our engagement pictures done on november 17th, and just loved it! Emily and Mark are too much fun and are open to so many different ideas. They made the entire experience so relaxing and enjoyable. They have many wonderful ideas and are also very open to hearing your own. They made sure I got every shot I ever dreamed of as a bride. All of my guests even made comments on how much they enjoyed them at the reception. I was so excited when I received my photos and they were exquisite!!! I am beyond thrilled that we ended up using them and I will be sure and use them for all of my future events as well as recommend them to all of my friends!

Artistry in Focus, run by Mark and his daughter Emily, were the best photographers I could have asked for. We liked them instantly upon meeting them and they surpassed my expectations on the wedding day. They were a joy to work with, being open to our ideas and having some great ideas of their own. The pictures we received were amazing!

My fiance and I are not a photogenic couple. So, imagine our dread at the thought of sitting with an engagement photopraher, who is a complete stranger, for a few hours hoping to get at least one, decent photo. I decided to schedule our engagement photo session by phone, and I was put at ease by the sweet voice of Emily, one of the photographers. She was highly competent, engaging, enthusiastic, and so willing to accomodate us. On the day of the session, Mark, another photographer, and Emily met us at the beautiful Dallas Arboretum. They were so nice and the three hours we spent with them flew by! They were even able to work with my fiance's unexpected pollen allergy flare up (you could never tell from the photos). Even my fiance was very impressed with their professionalism and easy going attitude. At the end of the day, we ended up with beautiful photos! I guess we can be photogenic! Artistry in Focus even edits a portion of the photos free of charge and allows you to have the rights to your photos - an excellent bonus. Also, they are reasonably priced. We are proud of our photos and we highly recommend Emily and Mark at Artistry in Focus.

Emily and Mark were nothing short of amazing on the day of my bridal portraits. They were there on time and Emily even helped my mom get me into my dress. The pictures they took are such high quality and the display portrait for the reception is over the top gorgeous! I could not have asked for a more affordable package. I am a full time student paying for most of my own wedding, so a budget friendly photographer was a requirement. I can't believe how beautiful the photos came out for such an incredible price! I would absolutely recommend Emily and Mark for any occasion! They are truly a wonderful team!

Artistry in Focus, run by Mark and his daughter Emily, was the photography company I used on my wedding day - 3/31/12. I actually ended up having to replace my first photographers 3 months before my wedding due to scheduling conflicts, and Emily and Mark were absolutely amazing to step in last minute. They're prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of work they do and the time they devote to each wedding, and above all of that, they gave AMAZING service for my bridal portrait shoot and my wedding day. Even though our wedding party was extremely late the whole day and we were frazzled beyond belief from the rushing and stress, Emily and Mark were calm and understanding and just went with the flow on everything. Great organization of the family photos, caring and helpful, and really knowledgeable about the right shots to take of me and my wedding party to make us all look our best. When my family saw my my bridal portrait at my reception, they couldn't believe it was a photograph - the quality was so beautiful, they thought it was an oil painting! I had been looking around for a photographer for awhile and when I came across Mark and Emily I knew I had found the right one. From the begining they were both soo nice and really made me feel like it was about me, which is how a bride should feel. I was on a budget and didn't have alot of time with a baby at home, but Mark and Emily worked with me and were very helpful. I had the best time shooting my bridals that turned out more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. Mark and Emily are talented, creative, genuine, and met my every need. I can't tell you how impressed I am with the job they did at my wedding and with my bridals. Your wedding is one of the most amazing experinces in your life and Mark and Emily are the perfect pair to capture it.

*Updated after wedding* Seriously you guys need to just book them! They were amazing at our wedding! Our guests commented on how polite and attentive they were. They stayed as late as we did and were so incredibly flexible. They were there getting every shot possible at every moment! I was worried there would be issues with the lighting since it was a late wedding (started at 730pm), but the pictures look beautiful! Speaking of which we got them fully edited two weeks ago and our wedding was 10.27.12. They even sent copies of everything directly to our parents! If you've booked someone else, drop them and get these guys. You won't regret it! *Engagements* Emily and Mark have been absolutely amazing. My fiance and I are (mostly) paying for our own wedding, so when I began looking for someone to do our engagement photos I couldn't go overboard with our spending. They are VERY reasonable and you get such high quality images!!! They took us to the Dallas Arboretum, paid our admission and we had a blast shooting our photos and felt very at ease and comfortable around them. They were more than willing to take our suggestions and adjusted to what we wanted. I mentioned wanting to shoot something very specific and they went above and beyond to make sure we got that photo. When the time came to book our wedding photographers they were the first people I thought of - and once again they really helped us out on the price. I have no doubts that our wedding photos will turn our just as beautifully as our engagements. It's very difficult to find someone who will let you hire them for the entire night, automatically include two photographers and access to all prints - as a matter of fact I don't think it exists aside from this team! For those of you on Pinterest - I pinned one of our engagement photos and it had been repinned about 20 times within minutes. I'm a very hard woman to impress - but they had no trouble doing so. Book them now and know that is one less thing you have to worry about on your special day. P.S. I put them in the $1000-$2000 range, but know that they are very close to the lower side of that (which includes bridals!!!).

The moment that I met Emily and Mark, they were wonderful and easy to talk to about what I really wanted. They truly are great people to work with and I wouldn't ask for anything else. Their work is great and I love how my engagement photos turned out!! I would recommend them to everyone who I know!!!! They are also doing my wedding photos to and that is July 14, 2012.

Mark and Emily shot mine and my fiance's engagement pictures last week. They were wonderful to work with! They did exactly what I wanted and added their own creative ideas to make the shoot even better than I could have imagined! You definitely get every bit of bang for your buck with this company. They had tons of fresh ideas about venues, styles and poses. The photos they took were of the best quality. Their professional, yet easy going attitudes made it very easy for my fiance and I to open up with them and let our true personalities shine through!
