From site visits to our venue, detailed shot sheets, and constant communication leading up to the wedding, Emily made sure every detail was covered. On the wedding day, she was there for every moment, helped keep everything moving, and even helped direct and coordinate with our videographer. More than anything, Emily was just such a great person to have around on our wedding day. She was kind, caring, calm, and genuinely fun to be around. When you’re spending basically your entire wedding day with your photographer, that makes such a huge difference. Her second shooter, Candy, was equally as impressive, and the two of them made an incredible team. The quality of their work, communication, organization, and overall professionalism exceeded our expectations. Weddings can obviously be high-stress, and having vendors you completely trust — and actually enjoy being around — makes all the difference. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Emily and Artistry in Focus and are so thankful they were part of our wedding day. My approach blends documentary-style storytelling with intentional direction when it’s needed. I’m not here to over-stage your day or turn it into a production. Instead, I step in when guidance helps and step back when the moment is better left untouched. The result is a collection of images that reflects your relationship as it actually felt. I work with couples who care deeply about their people and their story — who want their wedding photos to feel honest, emotional, and true to who they are together. On a wedding day, I’m present but unobtrusive, focused but calm, making sure things flow smoothly so you can stay grounded in the experience. When I’m not photographing weddings, I like to recharge by exploring new and beautiful places with my family or grabbing coffee with my friends. They understand the stress we as brides are feeling, and they respect your decision should you choose to think things over before making such an important decision. They are professional, but also personable. Sitting with them today, we were given the overall run-through of the event, got to see PRINTS of work they had done in the past (in various sizes), and were given information in a straight-forward, pressure-free way. We personally have a few more things pending before we make our final decision, but regardless of how our decision sways, if Mark and Emily's personalities and quality of work on our big day are anything like what we saw tonight, we would have no reservations recommending them WITHOUT BOOKING 110%.
