Honestly the level of what's included at this venue( from loads of stellar food options, to thematic lighting throughout the night, to several attendants, etc.) is truly out of this world. While there were a few rocky moments following the contract signing due to a handoff between event specialists, the owner John and our new specialist Celia addressed everything head-on and made it right in an extremely fair, professional, and genuinely respectful way. Food was my absolute top priority for our wedding, and here the Arts Ballrooms exceeded every expectation: our new specialist Celia flawlessly guided us through our elevated tasting process and ensured the day-of menu was nothing short of exceptional. She even remembered my favorite petit four cakes from that initial tour and had them waiting for me at every subsequent venue visit. Massive compliments to the Arts Ballroom chefs—our guests were floored by both the quantity and high quality of food, and the dessert room was hands-down one of the biggest hits of the night (we kept it a surprise from guests, and they were all blown away when it was announced: cotton candy, snowcones, liquors in chocolate cups, donut walls, s'mores, you name it they had it!). On the wedding day itself, the team was incredibly dedicated. Our Maître d’ Michael, Bridal Attendant Carol, and Director of Operations Emmy worked hard to make the event the best it could be and ensured my (now) husband and I were having the time of our lives. Finding a pet-friendly venue was also critical for us, and the Arts Ballroom were beyond accommodating for our dog Campbell and welcomed her on the wedding day with open arms. There were a few slight day-of hiccups, such as a miscommunication around taking photos in one of the venue's bar areas (but neither bar was cleaned for us to do so), not realizing the venue would be giving tours the morning of the wedding, and having cake and late-night snacks packaged to-go without clear signage or a staff member actively handing them out for guests. That said, the true heartfelt dedication of each & every member of the staff more than made up for small oversights that were mere blips in the day. The venue was also so flexible as small floor plan changes and late guest cancellations arose in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and we always felt treated like real people they genuinely cared about rather than a line item on a spreadsheet. For example, when I made a late-breaking request for an ice water station just days before the wedding, I fully expected a “late request” fee, but instead was met with a cheerful “no problem,” and it was ready and waiting as guests arrived for the ceremony. What’s included in The Arts Ballroom package is hard to find elsewhere, and it truly makes the price point 100% worth it. At the end of the experience, I cannot imagine our day at any other venue with any other team, and fully recommend couples in and out of the Philly area to pick this venue!

If you are planning a wedding in a year or less this is the place to go! They have in house catering, bars, and work with local bakeries for your wedding cake; so you don't have to schedule a bunch of appointments with different caterers, beer/wine distributers, or cake tastings. It's one and done through the venue! The staff at the ballroom are fantastic! They can accommodate almost any request and go above and beyond to make your day special! The event specialist worked with me all year to make sure plans were spot on and organized! The day of staff helped to make sure the food was delicious, guests were happy, photographer/videographer were aware of plans day of, and my husband and I were taken care of! Their food options were amazing, we went with their base menus and man did they offer a lot! They also take the guests dinner orders on the day of, so no having to get your guests meal choices ahead of time. So easy!!!! We got told many times after the wedding that cocktail hour and dinner was delicious! They also provide a whole vienesse table hour with tons of desserts. If you have young family members attending your wedding this will surely be a hit, and they have something for everyone! I got married in early December and family and friends are still saying how the venue and the service there was amazing. Finally the venue does a great job of making you and your spouse feel special. We were given a couple of wedding day surprises/gifts from the venue that really show they care about their customers! Coming from someone who originally wanted the winery/vineyard wedding scene, you can't miss with choosing the Arts Ballroom! Their convenient locate on Broad Street in Philadelphia provided great options for guests to stay at hotels within walking distance from the venue! This allowed for family and friends to continue the celebration with convenient night life spots around broad street post wedding! It also makes for a great weekend trip for family or friends coming from out of town, there is so much to do in Philadelphia! I loved my experience and you will too!

From the moment you step inside, the venue takes your breath away — the crystal chandeliers, the stunning grand staircase, the lighting, and the elegant cocktail room create a timeless, classic atmosphere that photographs beautifully and feels incredibly special. Originally, my daughter was set on the popular winery/barn wedding trend. I suggested she “just take a look” at The Arts Ballroom — and that was all it took. The moment we toured the space, her decision was made. It offers elegance, romance, and sophistication that is hard to find anywhere else. The food and service were truly 5-Star+. Every course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, and our guests are still talking about how incredible the cocktail hour and dinner was. Just as impressive was the Viennese Hour. The staff — the Event Manager, Maitre D, and Food Manager worked seamlessly as a team and handled every detail with professionalism, warmth, and care. The Events Specialist-Isabella Soto was phenomenal from our very first meeting through the wedding day itself. We felt supported, guided, and completely at ease knowing everything was in expert hands. On the day of the wedding, everything flowed flawlessly — allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. I cannot recommend The Arts Ballroom highly enough. If you are considering it for your wedding, do yourself a favor and visit — you will be absolutely hooked. A truly unforgettable experience from start to finish.
