I highly recommend having your wedding at The Arts Ballroom! We booked the Arts Ballroom in December 2020 and got married in June 2022. We booked the Arts Ballroom because of the location in the city, the beautiful room with the grand staircase, and all the food options that they offered. What we got was so much more than we could have ever imagined.
The staff was a delight to work with, in particular Alaina and Chris. Alaina answered all of our questions in a timely manner, and when she wasn’t available to help us with something, someone else always was. Alaina offered smart suggestions and helped coordinate with the seating chart, decorations, and our food and drinks options. Chris was our day of coordinator. He made sure that everything ran smoothly, that we never had an empty drink, and we got to eat dinner because Chris loaded up several plates with different options for us. My bustle on my dress ripped and Chris was there right away with safety pins for my sister to fix it. He also got our parents, bridal party, and anyone else we needed for specific things like the cake cutting, tour of the dessert room, etc.
Besides the amazing room and staff, the food was so delicious. We told our guests to come hungry because the cocktail hour included passed hors d'oeuvres and 5 food stations. We had a buffet for dinner with beef, chicken, and seafood options, plus pasta and vegetables. Finally, the star of the night…the dessert room. We had our wedding cake, but in addition to this, there is a whole room dedicated to dessert. There was a chocolate fountain, assorted candy, cotton candy, cheesecake, milkshakes, waffles, a donut wall, and so much more. It was like we were in Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Our guests could not stop raving about all the food options! The best part of all these options was that everything was included! We didn’t have to pay an upgrade for the stations or dessert room. Plus, top shelf liquor is included in their regular package, it isn’t an upgrade.
The Arts Ballroom even had a couple of surprises for us as bride and groom. It was so fun to have these little extra surprises since you plan the whole wedding and know everything that is going to happen.
Overall, I would recommend the Arts Ballroom to anyone getting married. The price you pay is a steal compared to other venues in the city. However, the quality of service and food are not lacking because of that. In fact, they far exceeded our expectations. My husband and I hope one of our friends get married there so we can enjoy a wedding at the Arts Ballroom as guests. If we had to do it again, we’d choose the Arts Ballroom every time!
