ArtViva Events is created by award winning artist Angelis Vaca, based out of Montclair, New Jersey. She specializes in creating realistic paintings for weddings and commissioned based pieces. She covers the entire New York Tri-State area and interstate to international wedding and events.
Services Offered:
Before a client's wedding, Angelis will discuss the date, time, location, and scene. On the big day, the artist will arrive two hours before the ceremony. The artist generally remains on site for 6-9 hours painting till end of the reception. After the festivities, the artist will take the canvas to her studio to put the finishing touches, for later framing and delivery.

Highly recommend Angelis as a live wedding painter. She captured our Indian wedding so well and I appreciated her sending examples of her work drawing other South Asians ahead of time. Everyone loved watching her in action at the wedding. It took a little on the longer side to get the final painting in the end but 100% worth it!

Holy moly is this artist talented! We booked Angelis to be our live wedding painter first thing, before we booked anything else. She is so professional and kind and sweet and TALENTED! I knew I wanted a wedding painter but her painting honestly blew us away. I cried when I saw it for the first time. Everyone is still talking about how cool it was and how impressed they were at how amazing it turned out, and they didn’t even see the final painting yet! If you’re looking for something unique, get a live wedding painter. And if you’re looking for a live wedding painter, book ArtViva!

Angelis was great to work with. She arrived and took reference photos of our first look - we hardly even knew she was there! The next time we saw Angelis, she was setup with her easel in our reception area and already had most of the scene painted! We loved being able to see her process, and guests really enjoyed it as well. After the event we asked if we could add our dog to the painting, and the final product is simply beautiful! We would highly recommend this service.

We are so glad we chose Angelis to paint our special day. We requested she paint our ceremony and she chose such a lovely angle to paint and captured the green hills and mountains in the background beautifully. She put lots of detail into the work and we are so happy with the way it turned out!

We are so beyond grateful to Angelis Vaca for painting our wedding ceremony! Our initial painter who we booked 8 months prior to the wedding had to drop out 5 days before unexpectedly and we were frantically reaching out to find a new painter after this happened, but you can imagine availability being very scarce on such short notice. Angelis came to the rescue for us! She worked with us to iron out all of the details just 3 days prior and we are still in awe of how lucky we are to have found her. We had her paint our outdoor ceremony and the detail she had included from the start was just amazing. So many guests were stopping to take a look at the canvas and were beyond impressed. Angelis took the painting back to her studio to complete and then delivered it to our home once it had been varnished and framed. The finished product is absolutely breathtaking and it looks so beautiful hung up on our wall! It is more than we ever could have dreamed of and she captured the best day of our lives so wonderfully. We have received so many compliments about her work and recommend her to anyone who is looking for a wedding painter. Her customer service is great and her talent is unmatched!

Angelis was incredible. I booked as a surprise for the bride and groom. She was prompt & professional at the venue and an absolute treat for guests to witness her talents in action! The painting was hand delivered quickly after the wedding and she captured the first dance perfectly, down to every detail of the venue and even surrounding guests! Could not recommend enough!
Born in Long Island, NY, Angelis Vaca started painting at an early age. You’ll find her painting at weddings or private events and taking on commissioned work at her studio in New Jersey. She further pursued to perfect her skills by attending The Florence Academy of Art under the mentorship of various prominent painters where she received her CFA with multiple winning Fine Art pieces sold to the FAA. She was accepted at The Metropolitan Art Museum's intensive Master Copyist Program in 2017. She remains disciplined in her line of work and strive to improve her creative endeavors and techniques.
