myself, so I left a bit underwhelmed. On the morning of my wedding, I woke up to a message that the stylist I had originally booked wasn’t going to make it. While this was stressful news, Artworx did find a replacement quickly. The only challenge was that the new stylist needed more time, so we had to scramble last-minute to adjust our morning schedule and get everyone in the room earlier than planned. That said, I am really happy with how my hair turned out on the wedding day. The stylist who stepped in did an amazing job, and in the end I was actually glad she was the one who styled me. One thing to note for future brides: stylists only receive about half of what you pay Artworx, which is disappointing given how much clients are charged. Either give a great tip in person, or just book directly with a hairstylist. Overall, I appreciated that a solution was found quickly, but the trial, the last-minute changes, and the pricing structure are worth being aware of.

and Kristin blended the perfect palette - she is truly an artist. They were also really fun to hang out with considering how many hours you spend together with 8 bridesmaids and 2 moms also involved! Most of my friends are married and have been through the wedding process themselves, and they all had rave reviews about their looks and the enjoyable process. When showing pictures of hair styles or the jewelry that would be worn for my wedding, we were given negative feedback, which was unprofessional, as we did not ask for an opinion. My mother asked for loose curls and received the worst hair style we have ever seen (see attached photos). We did not have a positive experience and I left with no confidence that she could deliver on my wedding day. As a result, I had to cancel wedding services for this provider. This left me seeking someone else out with 3 months to spare before my wedding. However, the makeup services were good overall.

Kristin did it during my trial and on my wedding day. She pays attention to your face and really wow’ed everyone. Kristin is also very relaxed, kind and overall very easy to be around to be around which is so needed on your wedding day. Highly recommend!

eady to move forward, only to receive radio silence. Finally after a few attempts from my end, I asked her to at least confirm that they were unavailable (and I wasn't just missing them?). Erin immediately responded that they just weren't available. I saw this from a few other reviews and just wanted to warn other brides that communication with this vendor was rather lacking. Not a good omen for your big day!

Erin tried a few different styles I had seen in pics but we knew we hit "the one" after she made a quick suggestion of "how about we try this"...just perfect. A low, side bun with loose tendrils surrounding my face. I asked Kristen to use my make-up products as I have a good sense of what works for my face and age (57 at the time of the wedding). She did an unbelievable job and I really felt beautiful on the day with both their help. I appreciated Erin's flexibility as the plans kept changing ask I thought my family was coming over from Ireland. Then some tested positive for covid so we had to change the numbers of bridesmaids she would be working on. Then the plans changed again with my sister being able to travel to be my maid of honor at the last minute. Erin was gracious and understanding throughout it all. Everyone looked so good I wish I could show pics to do her and Kristin justice. I would highly recommend Erin and Kristin if you're looking for great hair and make-up for your wedding.

ces for your wedding. They are going to be with you and your wedding party while you're getting ready, so you need to vibe with them! They're very amenable! The service itself was top notch. Everyone looked AMAZING and I felt that everyone got exactly the look they were going for. Not only that, but the hair and makeup lasted throughout the night! For myself, my trial was fantastic and even though I ended up wanting a different style from what I did for my trial, Erin did the new style perfectly and I was thrilled with how I looked. My makeup was flawless and I felt really really beautiful without feeling overdone. I cannot recommend them enough! Book them and you won't be sorry!

reed that this was the best hair and makeup across the board we'd ever seen! We all looked like the best versions of ourselves - modern and natural with a touch of glam. The hair held, the makeup photographed well, and they were willing to make changes on the fly if someone wasn't 100% thrilled with how they looked. Erin was super easy to communicate with, and gets extra props for rolling with our 2020 to 2021 date switch. Plus, they take Venmo! If you're getting married on Cape Cod, look no further.

my trial three or four times?! Erin was very patient and flexible throughout the whole process. My trial ended up being two days before the wedding but her team put my mind at ease! They were willing to work with me as long as I needed to feel comfortable. Day of wedding Erin delivered! All six of my bridesmaids looked beautiful. I would highly recommend!!!!

d fun to work with getting ready- the process leading up to the wedding was laid back, and stress free. I continued to be indecisive with hairstyles and Erin was super patient and amazing at trying different ideas at the trial without making me feel remotely like a crazy bride. I thought the hair and makeup for everyone looked natural yet elegant. Not done up or over the top. Everyone was happy with both! On a side note- it was a tropical storm the morning of our wedding (that miraculously cleared out for wedding time) but continued to be windy throughout photos outside and all of the bridesmaids and my hair stayed in perfectly without looking too stiff or done up at all. Cannot say enough great things!

my choice once I had my trial. They were so patient with me because I know very little about makeup and had no idea what to do with my hair. They each listened to me process what I liked and didn't like until we landed on exactly what I wanted. Erin can do absolutely anything to anyone's hair and Kristen made me look and feel naturally beautiful. I am so thrilled with this team and would recommend to anyone!

I came to my pre-wedding trial with a few images/ideas and Erin and Brianna were both able to listen to what was important to me and make it happen. They completely put my mind at ease heading into the big day. On the day of our wedding Erin and Brianna came on-site to our venue and the two of them were seamlessly able to work through all 5 of my bridesmaids as well as my mother-in-law, my mom and myself to get everyone done in time and without rushing. They were super easy going and fit in perfectly with the vibe of the bridal party. I would recommend Artworx without hesitation and am so thankful for all their help in making my wedding day perfect!

their pricing isn’t absurd, and most of all because I just adored Erin in all our interactions. She cares a lot about making every bride feel relaxed and happy, and the whole team is fun to have around on your wedding day. I’ve never liked wedding hair or makeup I’ve had done in the past as a bridesmaid but I couldn’t have loved mine more for my own wedding - they really made sure it was exactly what I wanted! Having airbrush for the makeup was wonderful- felt like I had nothing on but it was beautiful in the photos, and my hair worked perfectly with my overall look. I highly recommend working with Artworx and Erin’s team!

suggested though because with a lot of girls I knew it could be chaotic. We had just enough time right before photographers came! One stylist even went to my husbands grandmothers room because she is handicapped and set her hair for her. However, we did need to figure out chairs (unlike our makeup artists who came with them) they may want to look into investing in some- but we were able to collect some throughout the hotel. Otherwise, the girls had their hair done exactly how they wanted and even stayed that way through a misty photography session, windy beach ceremony, and dancing!! Reasonable pricing as well!

They are true professionals and excellent at their job, and we had a lovely time partnering with them and celebrating on our wedding day. They also had helpful recommendations on pre-wedding beauty/haircuts/and helped us and went the extra mile if we had a question in the run up to the wedding. So grateful and cannot say enough about the great job they did!
