Can not say enough great things about the way Kristin does makeup! I’m one of those girls whose never really loved how my makeup has come out when done professionally — except when Kristin did it during my trial and on my wedding day. She pays attention to your face and really wow’ed everyone. Kristin is also very relaxed, kind and overall very easy to be around to be around which is so needed on your wedding day. Highly recommend!

They are amazing ! Erin (hair ) was soo accommodating to everyone and made sure everyone had the hair they wanted and did such an amazing job! Kristen( make up ) I can not say enough good things about her she made sure everyone was happy she even worked so well with my bridesmaids who have sensitive skin she made sure everyone looked and felt beautiful!!

Erin and Kristen are the best hair and makeup team. They are absolute professionals and could not be easier to work with. They are fun and made our day amazing from start to finish. Their overall calming presence put us all at ease and they listen to make sure everything is 100% to your liking. I could not recommend them enough!!

Erin Kennedy (Hair) and Kristin McKenzie (make-up) were amazing. I hired them for H&M for 6 bridesmaids for my wedding at a family home on Cape Cod. They were so welcoming and kind at my trial and on the day I felt so taken care of. My bridesmaids also raved about her. Thank you to you both. ❤️

We had the best experience with Erin and her girls. Super relaxing, and made my bridal dreams come true. My hair lasted days into my honeymoon! Highly recommend also hiring her makeup artist that she works with as well. The girls had me laughing all morning, we had the best time, my hair lasted for multiple days into my honeymoon and just the sweetest kindest person. Highly highly recommend, the team at artworx! Can’t say enough great things about everything from the trial to the wedding day! Erin books out fast for the season so call asap! All my bridesmaids were also thrilled with hair and makeup from Artworx and they are a tough crowd to please!

At firsts Erin was great, confirmed they were available and gave me the rundown of who would be working on my wedding, pricing, timelines, etc. I immediately told her that I was ready to move forward, only to receive radio silence. Finally after a few attempts from my end, I asked her to at least confirm that they were unavailable (and I wasn't just missing them?). Erin immediately responded that they just weren't available. I saw this from a few other reviews and just wanted to warn other brides that communication with this vendor was rather lacking. Not a good omen for your big day!

A huge thanks to Erin and Kristin who did our hair and make-up. From start to finish they were so much fun, friendly, relaxed, experienced, with good suggestions. I enjoyed the trial, especially the nice glass of vino on the deck overlooking the ocean afterwards. Erin tried a few different styles I had seen in pics but we knew we hit "the one" after she made a quick suggestion of "how about we try this"...just perfect. A low, side bun with loose tendrils surrounding my face. I asked Kristen to use my make-up products as I have a good sense of what works for my face and age (57 at the time of the wedding). She did an unbelievable job and I really felt beautiful on the day with both their help. I appreciated Erin's flexibility as the plans kept changing ask I thought my family was coming over from Ireland. Then some tested positive for covid so we had to change the numbers of bridesmaids she would be working on. Then the plans changed again with my sister being able to travel to be my maid of honor at the last minute. Erin was gracious and understanding throughout it all. Everyone looked so good I wish I could show pics to do her and Kristin justice. I would highly recommend Erin and Kristin if you're looking for great hair and make-up for your wedding.

Erin and Kristin are AMAZING! First off, super fun people who are nice to be around, which I feel is an important but often not mentioned part of picking your hair and makeup services for your wedding. They are going to be with you and your wedding party while you're getting ready, so you need to vibe with them! They're very amenable! The service itself was top notch. Everyone looked AMAZING and I felt that everyone got exactly the look they were going for. Not only that, but the hair and makeup lasted throughout the night! For myself, my trial was fantastic and even though I ended up wanting a different style from what I did for my trial, Erin did the new style perfectly and I was thrilled with how I looked. My makeup was flawless and I felt really really beautiful without feeling overdone. I cannot recommend them enough! Book them and you won't be sorry!

Erin and Kristen are just the best. They did hair and makeup for my wedding at Wequassett on 10/1. Between my bridesmaids and myself, we've been in a LOT of weddings, and we all agreed that this was the best hair and makeup across the board we'd ever seen! We all looked like the best versions of ourselves - modern and natural with a touch of glam. The hair held, the makeup photographed well, and they were willing to make changes on the fly if someone wasn't 100% thrilled with how they looked. Erin was super easy to communicate with, and gets extra props for rolling with our 2020 to 2021 date switch. Plus, they take Venmo! If you're getting married on Cape Cod, look no further.

Erin did my hair for my wedding about two weeks ago, along with the hair for my 4 bridesmaids too. We were so happy with how everything came out and we all looked beautiful in pictures. Erin was professional and very responsive to my questions throughout the planning process. More importantly she was so easy to get along with. Having her positive attitude and fun personality put me at ease both during my hair trial and on the wedding day itself. I cannot recommend Erin at Artworx enough!

Erin and Kristin were an absolute joy to work with. They offer such professionalism with a side a fun which makes the getting ready process of your wedding day one to enjoy, at least I know mine was! Erin did an amazing job on our hair, taking in everyone's requests, and creating such beautiful hair designs! Kristin made everyone's makeup look flawless and also took into consideration any requests or concerns. These two truly made myself, my bridesmaids, my moms, and my flower girl look so beautiful. I am so happy with the results!

Erin & the Artworx team are great! On the day of the wedding, I had 9 bridesmaids, my mom and 2 flower girls getting hair and/or makeup done but the Artworx team worked within our timeline and everyone looked gorgeous! I wasn’t sure what I wanted exactly but at my trial, Shannon & Kristin created the exact look I was going for! Everyone looked naturally beautiful. Highly recommend!

Erin and her team were amazing to work with and made the getting ready part of the day so fun. I had 10 people getting both hair and makeup and everything went on time. Everyone was so happy with their final looks! I highly recommend for brides!

I never received these services. I requested and received a quote. I was happy with the price and services available so when I moved forward toward booking, I never received a call or message back. I must have called 20+ times and sent several messages. If you aren’t willing to provide the services all that I ask is for a response.

Erin & her team were amazing. From the trial to arrival at the bridal suite our wedding day, Erin was professional and extremely easy to work with. I believe I changed the date of my trial three or four times?! Erin was very patient and flexible throughout the whole process. My trial ended up being two days before the wedding but her team put my mind at ease! They were willing to work with me as long as I needed to feel comfortable. Day of wedding Erin delivered! All six of my bridesmaids looked beautiful. I would highly recommend!!!!

Kristen did a fantastic job on me and my bridesmaids makeup!! She did exactly what everyone wanted and I really appreciated that. The only thing that was slightly frustrating was the communication with the owner, which was not easy. Other than that, we had an excellent experience and I would recommend Kristen again!

Erin & the Artworx team were amazing to work with!! The whole bridal party loved their hair & makeup and we had ages ranging from young 14 year-old girls, to girls in their late 20's to mother in laws & mother of the bride! I had originally booked another "top" vendor on the Cape for hair and makeup and it did not work out them. Erin and her team were quick to step in and make me feel 100% comfortable and multiple styles for both hair and makeup. Highly highly recommend!! XO

Erin and Brianna were amazing to work with. They did myself, 6 bridesmaids, 2 Mother’s and 2 flower girls efficiently and flawlessly. Not only were they super laid back, awesome and fun to work with getting ready- the process leading up to the wedding was laid back, and stress free. I continued to be indecisive with hairstyles and Erin was super patient and amazing at trying different ideas at the trial without making me feel remotely like a crazy bride. I thought the hair and makeup for everyone looked natural yet elegant. Not done up or over the top. Everyone was happy with both! On a side note- it was a tropical storm the morning of our wedding (that miraculously cleared out for wedding time) but continued to be windy throughout photos outside and all of the bridesmaids and my hair stayed in perfectly without looking too stiff or done up at all. Cannot say enough great things!

Erin (hair) and Kristen (makeup) were amazing and made us all feel beautiful. They clearly know exactly what they are doing and are such professionals. I knew I was thrilled about my choice once I had my trial. They were so patient with me because I know very little about makeup and had no idea what to do with my hair. They each listened to me process what I liked and didn't like until we landed on exactly what I wanted. Erin can do absolutely anything to anyone's hair and Kristen made me look and feel naturally beautiful. I am so thrilled with this team and would recommend to anyone!

Erin & Briana did such a beautiful job. My trail was FANTASTIC and Erin walked us through every step of the way. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Not only did everyone's hair come out beautifully but Erin connected with our entire group on a personal level which helped with the wedding day jitters. So blessed to have worked with Erin and I only hope we can run into her again during our next visit on the Cape. Her prices were VERY reasonable and work was beautiful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Artworx is the best! Erin (hair) and Brianna (makeup) made myself and everyone in our bridal party look and feel beautiful. From Erin and I’s first email exchange, to my pre-wedding trial, to the day of our wedding, they were professional, calm, patient and caring. I came to my pre-wedding trial with a few images/ideas and Erin and Brianna were both able to listen to what was important to me and make it happen. They completely put my mind at ease heading into the big day. On the day of our wedding Erin and Brianna came on-site to our venue and the two of them were seamlessly able to work through all 5 of my bridesmaids as well as my mother-in-law, my mom and myself to get everyone done in time and without rushing. They were super easy going and fit in perfectly with the vibe of the bridal party. I would recommend Artworx without hesitation and am so thankful for all their help in making my wedding day perfect!

Artworx was beyond amazing! Erin and Brianna made everyone look and feel amazing. They are so efficient and work like a well oiled machine completing 10 women's hair and makeup and they finished ahead of schedule. They are upbeat and very fun to work with! Our hair and makeup stayed all night long, and our hair even looked great the next day! Erin and her team are truly the best. I looked at a lot of vendors and landed on Erin because she’d come recommended, her photos of past work were great, they come to my house but their pricing isn’t absurd, and most of all because I just adored Erin in all our interactions. She cares a lot about making every bride feel relaxed and happy, and the whole team is fun to have around on your wedding day. I’ve never liked wedding hair or makeup I’ve had done in the past as a bridesmaid but I couldn’t have loved mine more for my own wedding - they really made sure it was exactly what I wanted! Having airbrush for the makeup was wonderful- felt like I had nothing on but it was beautiful in the photos, and my hair worked perfectly with my overall look. I highly recommend working with Artworx and Erin’s team!

Artworx was great! They showed up to our wedding venue at Wychmere Beach Club and styled 8 bridesmaids and 4 other moms/grandmothers all on time. I am glad we started earlier than suggested though because with a lot of girls I knew it could be chaotic. We had just enough time right before photographers came! One stylist even went to my husbands grandmothers room because she is handicapped and set her hair for her. However, we did need to figure out chairs (unlike our makeup artists who came with them) they may want to look into investing in some- but we were able to collect some throughout the hotel. Otherwise, the girls had their hair done exactly how they wanted and even stayed that way through a misty photography session, windy beach ceremony, and dancing!! Reasonable pricing as well!

Erin and Brianna did an incredible job helping me, my mother and my bridesmaids look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. Artworx is simply the best! Both understood exactly what we all wanted, made it happen effortlessly, and we had an absolute blast in the process. They are true professionals and excellent at their job, and we had a lovely time partnering with them and celebrating on our wedding day. They also had helpful recommendations on pre-wedding beauty/haircuts/and helped us and went the extra mile if we had a question in the run up to the wedding. So grateful and cannot say enough about the great job they did!

I can't recommend Erin and Shannon highly enough! Shannon is extremely talented, she did all of our hair on the wedding day. Each style was different and looked amazing! The trial was relaxed, fun and very helpful. The booking process with Erin was completely stress free.

I LOVED working with Erin and her team! Erin and her team were an absolute dream to work with from scheduling my hair/makeup trial to the day of our wedding. Communicating with them before the event via telephone and email was extremely easy. They came to us at the venue and had all 12 of us ready to go within 4 hours. I would absolutely recommend Artworx for all future brides and bridal parties!

Artworx was fabulous! Erin, Shannon, Erica and her team made us all so stunning! My makeup (Erica) was flawless and Erin got my hair just right. All of my girls looked incredible. Erin and her team showed up right on time (if not a few min early) and we’re accommodating that I had just hopped in the shower. Erin still managed to keep us all on schedule (even though we had 12 girls) but didn’t make us feel rushed at all. I felt like a princess on my wedding day which is all any bride ever wants!

Erin, Shannon, Brianna, and Team did a wonderful job on hair and makeup for my wedding! All of my family & bridesmaids were very pleased and looked beautiful! Their pricing compared to other professionals in the area is all in, a better deal, for the quality and professionalism of their work. My only constructive feedback would be that the deposit, pre-payment, and multiple day-of payments gets a little confusing. It was hard to determine if my final payment was what I budgeted all in, because it was charged in so many different transactions.

My sister had used Erin, Kristin, & Brianna for her September 2017 wedding. They were so good I booked them for my April 2018 wedding! I had Shannon for hair & Kristin and Brianna for makeup. I had about ten people for hair and/or makeup and everyone was so happy! Brianna did my makeup and even though she was done she hung around to double check if I wanted to add something after my hair was done. After using this company as a maid of honor and as a bride I would highly recommend Artworxx!

Erin came recommend by a couple other vendors and I was drawn to the name of her company because my husband owns a company and also spells works with an X. So, I felt like it was meant to be! Erin was always very quick with her responses and when she called me the first time we chatted so long about everything that I actually almost forgot to give her the deposit because I felt like I was chatting with an old friend. The day of my hair trial, I knew instantly that she was exactly who I wanted to do my hair and spend the morning with the day of my wedding. We chatted about so much and I felt completely comfortable with her. You can trust that she will make your hair look stunning and she did!!! The morning of our wedding Erin called to say she was running Early but no rush if my girls weren't ready but they were :) I only had my 2 sisters as bridesmaids. I also had her do my mother and mother in laws hair, they both looked fantastic and were very pleased! My sisters both LOVED the way their hair looked and usually want to redo it, but they both were so in love with how they looked and wish they could recreate their hair style! As for me I LOVED my hair and I can't stop starring at pictures of how great it looked! It was exactly what I wanted but BETTER! One thing that was really, really important to me aside from looking my best was that my hair stylist and makeup artist were just nice people who I felt completely at ease with the morning of my wedding day. Erin came to our cabin on the beach, showed up early, made everyone feel completely comfortable and is so easy to talk to, we laughed and laughed. Oh, and did I mention she is an AMAZING hairstylist!?!! Thank you Erin for everything you did to make me look and feel beautiful on the best day of my life! Thank you for being apart of it! Artworx Hair Design was the amazing hair and makeup company that did mine and all the girls (bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride&groom, and flower girl) hair and makeup for my wedding on Cape Cod! I can not say enough wonderful things about this incredible team. I cannot thank this team enough for doing an absolutely amazing job on my wedding day!!!!!! Erin was fantastic from the beginning. She originally told me, "it never rains on our brides wedding days!" (jokingly)... honestly though we were SO incredibly lucky to have the most perfect weather- maybe it had something to do with Erin saying that ;) ! I was nervous to try using hair extensions and Erin made them look so perfect, I was OBSESSED with my half-up hair style for my wedding day. I also cannot say enough about Brianna G, she knew exactly what to do to cover my blemishes, eyelashes were perfect... she was a life saver! My bridesmaids and Mom also had Erin, Amanda, Brianna and Ariane, everyone looked absolutely gorgeous! I am more than satisfied for picking this company and trusting their skills and expertise for my wedding day. They were all on time, professional, kind and made our time with them very enjoyable. While Erin and I had some difficulties with communication and canceled reservations prior to my wedding, the two ladies she sent out were very talented and did an excellent job. The entire bridal party was happy with their looks and their hair stayed in place the whole night.

We had Shannon for hair and Brianna for makeup and both were absolutely phenomenal. My bridesmaids and I have been in our share of weddings and we all unanimously agreed that Brianna was by far the best makeup artist any of us have had. For hair, I am notoriously difficult to please and Shannon took her time to make sure that I was completely happy with the final look. Everyone looked gorgeous after they worked their magic! Both Shannon and Brianna were so easy to work with and lovely to have around as we all got ready. I couldn't recommend them more. Thank you, thank you, Thank you!

We had Artworx recommended to us by our venue, and we ran into a few other brides from the same venue at the salon during our trial. Leading up to the wedding, the owner, Erin, was friendly but sometimes a little hard to reach (which may be stressful for a type-A bridezilla). However, the stylists, Shannon and Kristin , that showed up for our wedding were AMAZING and did a great job getting through our 7 hair and make-up bookings. These two were great, and we all looked amazing in our photos!

Erin and her team did the hair and makeup for my wedding last month. They were amazing! Erin was easy to work and fun to work with; the trial was casual and fun and made me feel much more at ease than I felt going in since I was uncertain what I wanted for my bridal hair. Erin another hair stylist and tow makeup artists came to my Cape house the morning of the wedding. I was nervous we weren't going to be ready by the time my photographer asked us to be ready so I emailed Erin the week before my wedding and she moved back the time they were arriving by 1 hour to make me feel more comfortable. We had more than enough time and I didn't feel rushed. All of the girls were happy with the results and my girls did not fall, which was my main concern and not an easy feat with an outdoor wedding on the water in August. I would highly recommend Erin and the staff from Artworx!

I have waited six weeks to write this review in hopes the issue would be resolved. But it has not. I selected Erin and her team for my august 2017 wedding based on reviews. A little pricey for hair and makeup but I wanted the best for my wedding! My trial went great and everything seemed to be in order. A week before the wedding I went and got my hair cut and colored. It was another good experience and was even excited that I found a new salon I would want to go to regularly. I told her the limo was getting us at 3. She suggested we change the time from 12 to 11 to be safe. Day of wedding I planned my shower to be done right at 11 because I was told to have clean wet hair. At 11:15 I sent a message to Shannon who was doing my hair. She said the calendar said 12 but was on her way. I shrugged it off and finally she got there. While she was doing my hair she said Erin wanted to refund me the 140 dollars which was the deposit since they were late. At first I said you don't have to do that. Shannon said it's our fault we want to. I then felt it was fair because I literally had ten minutes to get dressed and get to the limo. I sent a message to Shannon. A few weeks later inquiring about the refund. She said Erin was looking into it. I waited a few more weeks and sent Erin a very nice email. No response at all. Not to mention my curls didn't look anything like what we discussed and all the bridesmaids curls fell before we got to the venue. It's just bad business and unnecessary. They should not offer to fix a problem and not follow through. This business is clearly not about providing a good experience for the client. I was and would have been a good client until this incident. It's just about the money. I would be very cautious before booking with them ! And if you do, make sure you don't have any issues because it won't be resolved. I recently saw a similar review like this. Seems like it's a common issue for them to not take care of their clients. I had Shannon Kennedy for myself and my bridal party and she was amazing. I totally changed my hair idea from what we had done for the trial but I was so confident in her work that I knew it wouldn't be an issue (and it wasn't... she did a beautiful job). My bridal party also looked stunning and got exactly what they asked for. And just an added bonus is that Shannon is super sweet and laid-back, which is always helpful when you are trying to stay calm yourself! Thank you Artworx and Shannon!!

The team from Artworx was amazing for my daughter’s wedding last month! Erin was wonderful and arranged for herself and two other hairstylists and two makeup artists to come to our Cape house the morning of the wedding to do the hair and makeup for the Bride, eight Bridesmaids, the Mother of the Groom, and the Mother of the Bride. They arrived on time, were extremely professional and respectful, and were lots of fun throughout the process, creating a relaxed and very special time for everyone! All the girls were thrilled with the results, as were both moms! We all received countless compliments on our hair and makeup throughout the entire wedding and reception!
