Ashery Lane Farm

We got lucky with our wedding happening right after restrictions were lifted in June 2021... and Ashery was fantastic in remaining in close contact when it came to navigating all of the changes. Very responsive, fantastic food, & an overall amazing venue (hardly any decor necessary)! Our guests had a blast and photos were awesome.

Where do I even start? THIS VENUE IS INCREDIBLE! As a planner who has planned 100+ weddings and worked with countless venues and catering companies, this one is all around my favorite. They are quick to respond to any and all questions, they will create literally anything for their couples and will get creative when it comes to menu and food service style. The venue itself is stunning and allows for so many different options when it comes to planning your day. They outdoor space is breathtaking with the vineyards and apple orchards, so pictures are perfection. From the main room to the bathroom, everything is clean and well thought out for an event. We planned a wedding during COVID after there had been millions of changes and they worked with what we had in terms of government mandates and took care to make sure both staff and guests were following the rules to keep every human there safe. I would say they are Top of the Tiara! You are in great hands when booking this venue for your big day!

Where do I even start. I am a very understanding person, but I do not want any poor couple to go through what me and my Fiancé have. We booked with Ashery Lane (and their required catering company- D’Amico Catering) in January 2020 for a scheduled wedding in January of 2021. The event planner associated with D’Amico was very friendly, the barn venue was stunning, and D’Amico has been around for over 25 years so we thought we would be in great hands. We put our nearly $7,000.00 deposit down and then… crickets. No emails until 6 months later (cue Covid-19 changes) when I emailed the event planner about what we could be expecting to change at the venue. They told us we had to decrease our guest count from 170 to 120, we could not have a head table or sit with our bridal party, and all servers had to wear masks (annoying but understandable with the state restrictions). We sent out our save the dates and planned to have a modified seating chart. Then, just four months out we get an email stating we now all must wear masks (which will be policed by the catering company and they reserve the right to refuse servicing the wedding if people choose not to wear masks), we need to decrease our guest count to a maximum of 86 (or less than 36 if we want to utilize the second barn we already placed a deposit on), and we have to have a seated cocktail hour (in the same table arrangements from ceremony through to reception) where no one is able to mingle, they may only be excused to go to the bar by a staff member. They dropped our ridiculous bar and food minimums by only $1,000.00 knowing we would never make them with their required cuts to the guest list. AND the contract reads that D’Amico reserves the right to pull out of the contract as the caterer up until 90 days before the wedding if the guest count is drastically reduced. They said these changes could be altered up until the day of the wedding per the state requirements- yet more then five other venues I have spoken with do not have any policies this strict. They now refuse to give us any money back even though there has been little to no services given to us (not even a complimentary tasting). I am telling you- do not book here/specifically do not book with D’Amico Catering because they are only in it for the money. And, from personal experience: READ ALL OF YOUR CONTRACTS CAREFULLY.
