I am so happy with my choice to use Ashley Skeie Events for both florals and day of coordination! Ashley was extremely responsive whenever I had any questions and/or changes. I was super excited about my wedding day florals but also a bit nervous since we did not do any mock ups and I wasn't sure how they would turn out but they turned out PERFECTLY. Each floral piece was amazing and truly encompassed the fun, playful feel we wanted. We were also extremely impressed with our day of coordinator, Marissa, and how on top of everything she was. I knew after my in-person meeting with her that she would be amazing and she made our big day go by with ease! Highly recommend this company for all your wedding day needs! I will say Ashley is kind and professional. However, on the day of our wedding, the corsages were forgotten, fake candles were used for some tables instead of the real candles we purchased, and our flower arch which was our "wow piece" felt like a "Pinterest vs. Reality" fail moment. The top of the silver base was still exposed throughout and visible in all of our photos, and it looked significantly less full and shorter than what was included in our contract. To be transparent, we paid $3,000 for this arch and it looked incomplete and notably smaller than what was agreed upon. I will say Ashley took full responsibility for the missing corsages and gave us a full refund for them without us even asking, which we appreciated. When I asked about the use of the fake candles she noted that "there weren't enough candles" (we provided more candles than Ashley had advised us to purchase), she "didn't think it would be an issue" and "thought that would be the right call" without confirming with us or our planner. I responded that we were disappointed about the situation as those tables were our focal tables, and I haven't heard back from Ashley or her team since then, which is why I feel it's necessary to write this review. With the missing corsages, the use of fake candles, and our arch looking incomplete, we can't help but wonder if anyone took the time to double-check these details before considering the job done, especially for an event such as a wedding. I understand mistakes happen, but 3 noticeable mistakes for our wedding seem unacceptable. I just don't want other brides to pay for something and end up with a disappointing version without any response, or feel taken advantage of like I do now. The photos I included show what our flower arch was meant to look like per our contract, and what we received instead. Overall we’re disappointed in the outcome and the lack of response from this team since then. We can't shake the feeling that we were let down, and our wedding decor fell short due to a lack of effort and attention to detail from this floral team.

Ashley and her team are truly the best of the best! From the day we chose a venue to cleaning up the venue at the end of the night, her team was right by our sides making sure our day was as seamless as it could be. The best part is her company does it all, floral, planning, advice, rentals. design, clean up, set up, you name it all under one roof. You couldn’t ask for something easier or more seamless. Ashley’s team of planners are just as wonderful as she is and will make your day incredible!! Best decision we made was hiring Ashley and her team to take care of our day!

You NEED Ashley and her team for you wedding day!! Ashley is SO organized with monthly to-dos, amazing coordination (and florals!) and was great with email communications. Having her as our planner/DOC was a total game changer and saved me from so much stress. Ashley and her team are also the nicest and sweetest humans. They made the planning process so easy and wedding day go so smoothly. Their work sometimes truly goes unnoticed (especially since everything went according to plan without any hiccups) and that is something I appreciated so much on my wedding day. We also did flowers through Ashley and were blown away by how absolutely gorgeous our florals were! Ashley was patient and listened to vision and her the team executed everything to perfection! We hired Ashley as our day-of coordinator, florist, and for decor rental, and we were incredibly impressed with her in all aspects! From the bridal checklist to the planning sessions to the floral questionnaire, everything was well organized throughout our engagement season. Ashley was always upbeat and warm whenever we got to interact with her. On our wedding day, I had 100% peace of mind knowing Ashley was running the show from the schedule to the florals to decor setup. We absolutely loved our florals and got so many compliments on them! I found Ashley and Team on our vendor's preferred list and loved her floral style. First and foremost, I was not disappointed! My floral vision really came to life and everything Ashley put together was stunning. Everything I could have wanted. We went with Event Management because our vendor required a day of coordinator---- absolutely amazing and a must in my opinion. Julia did an incredible job managing our asks, everything day of, and keeping us on track. Day of I did not worry about a thing. I would highly recommend both Julia and Ashley's whole team for event planning AND Florals!

When I was first told I needed a DoC I thought it was the biggest waste of money, but oh my God was it worth every penny!! I had Paige as my lead DoC who made the process SO easy. We did a final walk through at my venue about one month ahead of the wedding and she totally understood my vision. She was also very helpful with reminders and last minute changes before. She took care of everything on the day of the wedding and relieved me of all stress. I didn't have to work with a single vendor or answer questions from vendors, guests, family because Paige was my go-to gal. Ashley Skeie events also has an amazing rental inventory which saved me a ton of money and time because they bring all of that, set it up, and pick up at the end of the night. I really just can't get over how helpful a day of coordinator is, and I could not recommend using Ashley Skeie, Paige and the team more.

I don't even know where to begin. Ashley and her entire team are the definition of above and beyond. I'm a bride with a very small vision and not great with details, but see big picture. My first meeting with Ashley I knew she was going to take my vision to the next level. We hired her for partial planning, day of coordinator, design & floral. Let me tell you - this was THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT. I would not have had a wedding without her and her team. Each planning session was so fun. She was able to pull all the thoughts out of my brain and knew exactly what I wanted - even when I couldn't tell her. Her planning / organization skills are impeccable. Her rentals are beautiful and more than I could have expected. Her florals are jaw dropping. She had the best team supporting her. Jaycee and Marissa ended up at our wedding the day of, and they truly are just an extension of Ashley. They knew exactly what to do, I didn't even have to ask them for anything. They anticipated my every question, move, next step, brought me food, water, cocktails & kept me so calm. The set up was BEAUTIFUL. They take care of everything from set up, to room flip, to tear down. They make sure to answer anyone's questions the day of so people aren't bothering the bridal party. They are honestly the NICEST people. They have the best attitude and truly just want to make your day special. They felt like some of our biggest supporters & closest friends that day. They all worked so well with all our other vendors. They put together an easy to read timeline. They coordinated with everyone so everyone knew exactly what was going on at all times. The day and my entire experience with Ashley & her team was truly flawless. I found some vendors I never would have known about if it wasn't for them - and they only work with the very best. I never thought I'd enjoy wedding planning (details make me anxious), but Ashley made my experience so much fun I may have to renew my vows in a year or two, just so I can work with her again!! Ashley Skeie Events is a top notch wedding planner! We got married at the Metropolitan Ballroom in January and worked with ASE for day-of-coordination. Everything was perfect! We worked with Brittany and Katie on our wedding day and they were incredible - the whole day was seamless from top to bottom! A huge perk to working with ASE is their expansive rental inventory - it made our planning process so much easier to have all of our decor brought in by their team.

I hired Ashley for my florals and day of coordinator services and it was THE BEST vendor I hired! My florals turned out better than I could have ever dreamt and Paige & Marissa as my day of coordinators were AMAZING! We hired Ashley Skeie's team for the Event Management planning (smallest package) where you are assigned a Lead Planner + Assistant Planner that starts six weeks out from your wedding day. We were matched up with Katie, who was so amazing! We met in person and walked through every detail (vendors, timelines, emergency contacts, etc.). Katie asked questions that you do not think of as never planned a wedding before. Ashley and Katie were so supportive during the process, answered ALL our questions within 24 hours and we felt that they cared about us as a couple and wanted our day to be special. Katie came to our church rehearsal and made sure everything ran smoothly and helped the bridal party know exactly where to be! On the day of, Katie arrived during hair + makeup and was there helping the vendors with any questions they had and anything else that needed to be done. Katie and her assistant were there all day, staying until the very end which made our lives the day of, stress free! For the last few months of wedding planning and now post wedding, we tell family and friends that hiring Ashley's team was the best decision we made!!!

If you are in search of an amazing wedding planner/DOC and/or florist – look no further than Ashley!! I started the wedding planning process thinking that I could skip the day of coordinator and just have a friend do it. As I did more research I realized it actually might be good idea. What initially drew me to Ashley Skeie was the fact that they have a huge inventory of décor items you can rent for free as a part of the package – meaning I didn’t have to go buy all these things just to turn around and sell them after the wedding. In starting to work with Ashley I then realized her amazing talent with flowers and ended up switching to her for floral as well. Oh my god – the flowers. We got married in November at Aria in Minneapolis and (for a non-crier) I cried when I saw the bouquets…they were that beautiful. We had to change our wedding date a few times due to Covid and I had no clue what I wanted for flowers for a fall wedding – I sent her a few pictures of the vibe I liked and she absolutely NAILED it. So many people commented on the flowers after the wedding. All in all, if you’re in need of one or both of these services, this is the vendor you should go with! Ashley and team were responsive, SO amazingly flexible and kind and patient through our date changes due to Covid, and made sure the day went so smooth without me needing to worry about a single thing! And the venue looked SOOOO good – the décor they brought, the flowers, and they did all setup and tear down for us. Worth every single dollar!!

Ashley and her team had been through an insane rollercoaster of a year with COVID and she never let it interfere with our planning or day. - She ran our rehearsal on her birthday. - The amount of stress that was taken off our plates was HUGE. We didn't have to worry about anything and got to enjoy every second of the day. The florals and overall vision of our wedding was exactly what we wanted. We not only felt like we had an amazing planner and florist, but Ashley was also an amazing friend through this whole process and after. It's hard to know where to event start when it comes to reviewing Ashely. She is, hands down, the BEST planner in the business. If you are even considering hiring a planner - hire Ashley and hire her now. Ashley is one of the most talented, kind, and patient people you will ever meet. From the countless questions she answered throughout the planning process, to managing every detail day of - she is the reason we felt like we had the best day ever. I interviewed many coordinators to support my husband and I on our wedding planning. I chose Ashley because I appreciated her energy on our call and her honesty about what her team offers. I also loved that I could use her for coordination, flowers and rentals.. win win win!! Each month she sends you monthly checklists to complete, and you have access to the full checklist in a shared doc. She is always available for questions but she really sets her couples up to be self-sufficient as well. I'm so glad I worked with Ashley for flowers an rentals did because then she was my only contact for all three of those areas and it made the decoration process so effortless because she took care of it all. Leading up to our day, she took over communication with all of our vendors and our timeline. As a bride this was incredible because I had so much on my mind and she took care of orchestrating all of the details to make sure all vendors were where they should be at the right time. We had both Ashley and Marie assist on our wedding day. A few things that stood out to me on our day was: my grandma has Parkinson's and we had a special chair with arms for her at the ceremony and Ashley carried it across a field to the dinner table for my grandma, this allowed for my parents to enjoy social hour and not worry about moving things. Also, when my husband and I joined at cocktail hour we did not have a chance to eat our appetizers, Ashley made sure that after our grand march we had fresh drinks and appetizers waiting for us at our seats. At the end of the night, Marie had our linens bagged and helped us organize everything so we left the venue clean and on time. Ashley and Marie treated our guests so well, we received so many compliments about their professionalism and how well the entire flow of the night went. My family is a "roll up your sleeves" type family that is always ready to be put to work, so it was important to me that they truly got to enjoy our wedding night, and everyone felt completely comfortable mingling and dancing and drinking all night because of the confidence Ashley and Marie showed in running the evening. My sister is getting married in 2022 and she decided to work with Ashley's team as well and she is so happy! I will recommend Ashley to anyone that is getting married!

Hiring Ashley was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Her talent and attention to detail combined with how personable and fun she is, leaves you feeling like you’ve hit the lottery. Her business model is one-of-a kind and we found no one else like it in the local market. Ashley’s business experience, industry knowledge, and connections are invaluable. Throughout the planning process you have easy access to her & her staff. One of my favorite things is the checklist she sends you and her email check-ins. She’s truly so thoughtful and it’s very helpful. Ashley made the entire wedding planning process fun, which I think is quite the compliment in midst of a pandemic and changing event restrictions. Ashley also did the flowers for our wedding and they were perfect. We received so many compliments and they exceeded our expectations. Hiring Ashley to do the décor as well as flowers really simplified the day. She handled everything the day of the wedding, and as a Type-A person myself, this was the greatest gift to give ourselves. Our wedding day was fun and carefree with zero worry or concern because Ashley had everything covered & was ten steps ahead of everyone. We will forever sing her praises and recommend her to everyone we know!

If you are back and forth with if you truly need a coordinator like I was, let me be the one to say you ABSOLUTELY do. Having the ASE team coordinate our day and flowers was the single most important decision we made the whole wedding process. We are still absolutely stunned how beautiful everything turned out. Being a bit of a control freak, I totally thought we didn't need a planner but now without a doubt I will tell any bride it is such a necessary part of the budget. There are so many details the day of that would not have gone as smoothly. We worked with Brittany and she was a godsend every step of the way. I cannot imagine my day without her - from keeping us on track to somehow finding my phone for me seconds before my speech, her and Rachel allowed me to be present in the moment instead of sweating the small stuff. We could not have done it without them and we will always always recommend them!

Everyone told me that hiring a planner would be the best thing I did for my wedding, but I didn't quite believe them util the ASE team came into my life! The team is so talented and an absolute JOY to work with. They made planning, decorating, and florals a breeze and made the whole day run so smoothly. Not having to worry about the details on the day of, and getting to focus on soaking in the moment is truly invaluable. I cannot recommend Ashley Skeie enough!

Hiring Ashley Skeie Events to be our day of coordinator for our wedding was the best decision we made while wedding planning. We had a mishap at our venue during the day of our wedding and could have never have had the reception of our dreams if Ashley’s team wasn’t there to help! We worked closely with a team member of Ashley’s - Katie - and I felt completely at ease the whole day, even with the venue setback I knew Katie and her team would handle it. We got to enjoy our day with family and friends! We used ASE for flowers and rentals as well, which I would highly recommend. It cut down on vendor communication since we were going through one source and our rentals and florals looked stunning. I would highly recommend hiring Ashley and her team!!!

I can not recommend Ashley and her team enough! We booked her for the day-of coordinator role, as well as our florist. Ashley was always very responsive to emails and so friendly/helpful with all my questions. On the day of the wedding, she was an absolute life saver. Having Ashley there made me feel relaxed and confident that everything would be taken care of. She even helped me get fix a make up mark on my dress, and steamed my train right before I walked down the aisle. Not to mention our florals/rental decor were absolutely perfect. Everyone who worked with Ashley through the course of our wedding agreed that she was the best money spent. She and her team are friendly, professional, reliable, and total pros. I would recommend her to anyone who asked.

Ashley and her team were the best money we spent on our wedding! From start to finish, they made the planning process so easy, I don't know how I would have done it without them. We did the day of coordinator package, and I was surprised how much we got out of it. They aren't just there the day of, they truly help throughout the entire process. Our lead coordinator was Madeline and she was incredible! She was so prompt to get back to us with answers to our many questions, very organized, and made our day go so smoothly. We also used Ashley for our floral, and the flowers were stunning! It made planning so much easier using Ashley Skeie for floral and planning because they were able to pull everything together seamlessly. Where do I even begin?! Ashley and her team were so great to work with from the very beginning. I hired them as my day of coordinator and also had Ashley as my florist. She blew my floral dreams completely out of the water! I can’t even begin to explain how beautiful my wedding was simply due to just the flowers. I cannot recommend her enough. Madeline was my day of coordinator and she and Tabatha were also so great to work with. My entire wedding day was a breeze thanks to them and I cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work. If you are looking for a coordinator, planner, or florist- please do yourself a favor and just book them, they will never disappoint you!

My husband and I have said that hiring Ashley Skeie for both planning and florals was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Ashley’s team is the best of the best and our day ran so smoothly thanks to them. We were initially drawn to Ashley Skeie not only because of her beautiful floral design, but also because of the access to her extensive rental inventory. Ashley took our vague idea for florals and turned it into something incredible. We were blown away by the gorgeous bouquets and free-standing ceremony arch and having Ashley’s team as both our florist and day-of coordinator allowed the entire room setup and flip to go seamlessly and turn out beautiful. Having one less vendor to coordinate and share details with was so helpful as we got closer to the big day as well. Katie Mathern was our day-of coordinator and she was fantastic. She was a wonderful calming presence, and we knew we could trust her to run the day and work with our other vendors. She worked with us as we made last minute decisions and kept the day running on schedule! All in all, we highly recommend Ashley Skeie for both floral and planning. We are truly thankful and so pleased with how our wedding day turned out!

Hiring the Ashley Skeie event planning team for our wedding was the greatest decision we made and the absolute best use of our budget! This team is so talented and will ensure you can be completely present (and relaxed) during your wedding day. We used their event management package, along with floral design. The google drive they develop is designed for efficiency and organization. You get multiple in person meetings where Ashley and team members will address every imaginable question and assist with achieving your vision for your wedding day. Our day was beyond what I expected and I can't get over how beautiful it was. It ran perfectly, they assisted with every detail and made us feel like the most special couple. They set up, tear down and everything in between. Ashley absolutely blew my mind with florals, they even made my mom cry! Katie, our lead planner, is fabulous at her job. We had non-stop compliments on our wedding day and multiple guests comment on "the girls dressed in black" who ensured our wedding day was perfection! We cannot recommend this team enough.

Ashley and her team were SO helpful throughout wedding planning, and our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without them. They were amazing. We worked closely with Madeline and she made sure everything leading up to our big day was communicated well (between us, our other vendors, etc.). Everything on our wedding day (and rehearsal dinner!) ran smoothly thanks to her! Also, the rental decor items and florals were amazing (both through Ashley Skeie). Plus, the set up and tear down was super helpful, too. The work we did with them leading up to our wedding day (countless emails, in person meetings, check lists, etc.) made us confident that things would go smoothly on our day and we are so glad we booked them!

I could not recommend working with Ashley more! Having a planner will make your wedding planning process and the wedding day so much easier. We did the Wedding Management package, which was her version of a Day-Of-Coordinator. I was sent monthly emails with to-do items, we had in-person meetings to discuss more details, she set up and tore down, and handled everything if questions or issues came up. Not to mention, her florals are absolutely stunning. I think out of all decor I used for my wedding, I got the most questions and compliments about who did my florals.

Mitch and I tell everyone the best decision we made for our wedding was working with Ashley Skeie and team. They are such experts at what they do and do so much more than event planning and floral design. We felt completely supported through the planning process, at one point Ashley made 6 different timelines for day of depending on how covid restrictions shook our that month. Ashley's vision is incredible and we were blown away at how everything came together - it was stunning! Ashley was so easy to work with, our favorite part of wedding planning was talking through our vision of the day and watching how she made it into reality. We cannot say enough good things about Ashley and her team and we now consider then cherished friends. My family and friends cannot wait to work with Ashley in the future.

If there is one piece of advice I have for couples about wedding planning, it is to hire a coordinator for your wedding! And more importantly, hire Ashley and her team!! This is the best money you will spend for your big day! As a lot of couples had to do, we postponed our wedding from June 2020 to June 2021. Ashley and her team were with us every single step of the way. She talked us through the decision, reached out to vendors and secured them for our new date, and helped us navigate the process. We literally could not have done that without her! The planning process was improved 100% because we had Ashley with us the whole way. I lived and breathed by her checklists, advice, and accessibility. There is no question too small or big that she won't answer or help you figure out. Ashley is the most organized, detail-oriented person I have ever met (a gal after my own heart). The details matter to Ashley and you can tell that she truly wants her clients to have the best day ever and to make everything as stress-free as possible; she goes above and beyond for her clients! When the wind day-of made some things we had planned impossible, Ashley was there to offer advice and alternative solutions. She checked with us when it was needed and was our go-to person for any questions or needs that popped up. As the bride, I was 100% stress-free on our wedding day because I had full confidence that Ashley had everything covered! Again, the best money we spent for our wedding - we could not have had a better person along for the planning ride!
