Ashley was absolutely incredible throughout our entire planning process, from a year out to the wedding weekend. She was so professional and I always felt that she genuinely cared about us and making our day the best it could be - and it truly was perfect. Her great relationships with other Columbus-based vendors was apparent whenever we met with folks, they had nothing but wonderful things to say about her too. Ashley truly made the planning process smooth and enjoyable, she had every little detail taken care of, she thought of everything to make the day beautiful and unique, timeless and elegant. I could go on all day, but I cannot recommend her enough.

Ashley was recommended by a friend and WOW she was so great. She worked well with my daughter and her finance which were out of state. The entire bride's family and groom's family enjoyed and loved working with Ashley. She managed the fairytale wedding with professionalism and the event was stunning. Ashley and her team planned my daughter's bat mitzvah to perfection and we cannot thank Ashley enough for making the night so perfect for our whole family! Every detail was thought of and anticipated and handled with care. We felt like guests at the party the whole night in the best way possible -- because we didn't have to worry about a thing and could spend the entire evening just celebrating with family and friends! And the entire planning process was as seamless as possible thanks to her attention and care! One of my favorite memories of my wedding weekend was the zero stress that I felt the entire weekend with all of the details coming together! She would always text me back within an hour or answer my calls when I needed something. The timeline she made and her organization saved me so much stress. Early on, someone told me to consider that you spend a lot of time with your wedding coordinator on the day of the wedding, and that is so true- which is great because Ashley was so wonderful. She has a calming and positive energy, and is so competent- if there were any problems that day, I didn’t hear about it. We hired her for month-of coordination, although she was kind enough to give me a few vendor recommendations before then. When we had the first call a month before the wedding, I was starting to feel pretty overwhelmed, but after I talked with Ashley I already felt better. She got everyone on the same timeline, confirmed everything with vendors, and took over a lot of communications so I could start to relax. When unfortunately my grandmother ended up in the hospital the day before our wedding, she changed her well thought-out timeline quickly and communicated changes to everyone who needed to know, all while making sure I was doing okay. Her entire team was fun and relaxed, and I was so glad I had them with me. They made the whole day the most relaxing part of wedding planning, and I can’t recommend Ashley and her team enough!

Ashley & her team were a highlight from our wedding. We worked with Ashley for month of coordination and from our first meeting, my mind was put at ease. She is extremely kind, calm, personable, and organized. Ashley was communicative throughout our entire time working together and was able to troubleshoot multiple things leading up to our wedding day. This included working through any miscommunication with vendors as well as helping us work with a new vendor at the last minute for something right before the wedding. On the actual weekend of our wedding, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and we were able to really relax and enjoy without any stress. With the help of Ashley and her team, our wedding day was perfect. We received compliments from family, wedding party, and guests on how well everything ran and how kind and professional Ashley & her team were. Ashley & team helped steam bridesmaids dresses, coordinated and executed our timeline, followed up with our vendors leading up to the wedding, made recommendations & gave advice, executed multiple surprises my now husband needed coordinated, and countless other things. On the day of the wedding I wore a somewhat fitted dress that didn’t have any stretch to it and my seamstress said I’d have to literally take the dress off to use the bathroom throughout the night. I was extremely worried about this, but Ashley & someone from her team happily helped me throughout the evening so no one else had to take on the task. They also helped me get dressed at the venue and bustled my dress so no one had to worry about it. I’m sure I am forgetting other things that happened throughout that night that I wasn’t even aware of, but I truly cannot recommend Ashley & her team enough. I honestly wish I could get married again purely to work with her again. My only regret is not working with her for longer than 1 month prior to our wedding. Ashley, we cannot thank you and your team enough!!!! We appreciate everything you did for us and truly enjoyed working with you!!

Ashley guided me through every step of the wedding planning process and did it with such confidence and ease, EVEN when I decided to change florist a month before my wedding (the first one didn't get my vision and Ashley found me the perfect florist that nailed my vision). She broke the planning down into a totally manageable process and was always so personable and made me feel at ease with the planning. The day of the wedding, Ashley and her team crushed it. There was always a team member readily available and equipped with anything you can imagine needing. 5/5, highly recommend!

Ashley was the best thing I could have ever imagined when it came to a day of coordinator. She started taking over digitally about a month out and from the first time we talked I knew her type A, kind, easy going personality was going to really care for our wedding and its details. She made sure all of the vendors were ready for drop offs, scheduled pick ups, provided advice and answers to all of my questions and honestly felt like part of our family that day. She was willing to help in any way that she could and always thought of the tiniest details to cover. The day ran perfectly and her team was more than professional. I cannot recommend her enough. We loved working with Ashley!

If I can suggest one thing for wedding planning, it’s to budget in hiring Ashley and her team! I worked with Ashley as my 30 day coordinator and as soon as we starting working together, she hit the ground running. She sent me payment deadlines for all of my other vendors, she put together a timeline for the wedding day and even added a packing list to make sure nothing was forgotten. Any small detail I mentioned to her was executed perfectly and she forgot nothing! There were so many moments where I said out loud “thank god for Ashley!” Not only is she the most organized person but she was also incredibly sweet and a true joy to be around. There was never a moment on my wedding day where I felt stressed and I can attribute that all to Ashley. Do yourself a favor and hire her and her amazing team!! Thank you for everything, Ashley!

My daughter's wedding was December 4, 2021, with separate venues for the ceremony and reception. There were multiple vendors needed and complex logistics! One of the best decisions we made, early on, was getting ASWE on board. Ashley's experience in the Columbus, Ohio, market was invaluable in finding great choices within our budget for everything from transportation to catering. She coordinated and followed up over the six or so months of intense planning and provided a detailed timeline to ensure the day went off perfectly. The many conversations and detailed planning culminated with a an event that was a true testament to ASWE's services from setup to tear down. The bride and groom, as well as our family, could be totally in the moment--enjoying the celebration and creating memories of a lifetime. I never once worried about the food, bar, transportation, music, etc. Many of our guests commented on it being the "most fun" of any wedding they had ever attended. We highly recommend ASWE if you are planning an event in the central Columbus area! A separate shoutout to these amazing vendors including French Hen Farm, Avant Garde Impressions, Emma Parker Photography, Metro Cuisine, Short North Piece of Cake, Hoover Gardens and Gift Center, Short North Trolley, and Mai Chau Kitchen --- they are all top notch!

Let me start out by saying I would absolutely 100% recommend Ashley Stephan for all your event planning needs. Throughout this crazy time, she helped to plan not one but two wedding celebrations for my husband and I. With original plans impacted by Covid, Ashley was extremely helpful on pivoting plans and working with our vendors to make any adjustments. It was a stressful time but she made it feel easy! Ashley has a unique ability to get to know your individual style and preferences which led to our vision (and beyond!!!) come to life. Not only was she fantastic to work with in the planning process but her and her team made the day of feel smooth and effortless- if there was an issue, I certainly never noticed!! I am a local wedding vendor that has worked with many clients over the years, and have seen many of them do it on their own or with a planner. The clients that we have worked with that have also been working with Ashley Stephan Weddings and Events definitely seem to have quite an advantage over many others with her organization, experience and flawless attention to detail. She not only makes things go very smoothly for the parts of the event that pertain to what the client needs with us, but I can't say enough about what the clients have mentioned and raved about her. Each and every one of them has said how they couldn't imagine doing this all as efficiently and effortlessly as they did, without having her there to help guide them through the process step by step. Having a planner with this level of expertise and organization helps the bride and family with keeping things on track, and being sure to not lose focus on what should be planned first, second, third and so on. With the excitement that an event like this brings it is very easy to get off track, or not be sure as to what order to plan things in, or the deadlines that should be followed. Also, with the contacts that she has it can also save them quite a bit of time and stress by already knowing which vendors have the best quality and service - and for the best pricing - eliminating the need for the couple to do all the research on their own, and hope that they make the right decision based on her needs. This extra level of expertise and knowledge based on her years of experience and vendor relationships has proved itself as priceless. As a vendor that works with her and her clients on a regular basis, I can say that the couples that we see working with her have a much clearer image of what they are needing, as well as a better understanding of their budgets and timeline as to when each thing is needed. We don't see any rushing, panicked or over-stressed couples in any stage with her, and they tend to be very calm and generally excited for what should be a very special event in their lives. And that makes our job easier as well as a vendor working to help in that process. If you find yourself struggling a bit, or feeling a little overwhelmed with the planning process, we would recommend seeking out Ashley's help for sure. And if adding the price of a planner is any concern at all, just focus more on how much can actually be saved by having an expert in your corner that already knows where to get the best pricing and quality for your budget. The savings that can be reaped from that investment will definitely outweigh the cost. And on top of that, the piece of mind alone that everything will be perfect, enjoyable and memorable is worth the time seeking her out. Enjoying your big day as much as a guest would, and not being stressed about the behind the scenes, decorations and tear-down, or vendor timelines can be one of the best gifts you can give to yourself.

Hiring Ashley as our full time wedding planner was easily the BEST thing we ever did. She is a true professional and put together the most beautiful wedding weekend for my husband and me. She recommended the absolute best vendors (Dalay Ket for decor/flowers and Jason at Avant Guarde for invitations, programs, etc. to name just a couple). Our only regret is that we didn’t take MORE of Ashley’s advice from the very beginning. She was a mediator for all vendors and the week before my wedding was honestly the most stress-free weekend of my whole life. Like I said, Ashley has the most amazing advice, vendor recommendations, and work ethic of anyone we encountered while wedding planning, and at the end of the day she was ALWAYS an advocate for our vision for our wedding day. She almost always responds to e-mails within 24 hours (usually less). She always eased my mind if I was worried about something and after a couple of months of working with her, I just stopped worrying because I knew I had the best planner and she could take care of it all! And lastly, Ashley is just overall a genuine and kind person and has definitely found her calling as an event planner.

Ashley Stephan wedding events was one of the best parts of our wedding weekend. Ashley helped run our rehearsal and wedding day. Having a wedding planner makes the day so much more relaxing. She made sure we ran exactly according to schedule, everyone and everything got to the venue as scheduled, she handled communications with vendors and the event space, and helped clean everything up at the end of the evening. I can't imagine the pressure and fuss of a wedding day AND having to do everything she did. Having her there made it so we could enjoy our day and just focus on being the bride and the groom. Her attention to detail is impeccable, her communication is quick, and she was fully supportive of helping carry our vision for our wedding--dogs and all! She is so kind and lovely and is never flustered. Highly recommend Ashley!!!

I recently worked with Ashley for a Bat Mitzvah. When I tell you everything was absolutely amazing it was stunning. She is great at what she does and I cant wait to work with her again. If I could give her 10 stars I would.

Prior to my wedding I would have thought a wedding planner was a total waste of money, but boy was I wrong! I now tell everyone #1 thing you can do for yourself is hire a planner- your sanity will thank you!! Everyone was amazed what a relaxed bride I was and every time I told them that I had my planner to thank for that. Thanks to Ashley I was able to truly enjoy my day. Working with Ashley was amazing. She was recommended to us by the wedding coordinator at our venue and I could have not been more pleased. At first Ashley stood back a bit so that she could gauge my level of interest in the planning process. Once she gauge my level of interest and had a couple of meetings with us to understand our style she was off. She made great recommendations for vendors that were within our price range and was able to help us save money by working with vendors (she knew to ask if we could flip the pipe and drape from ceremony to reception, she asked if we could re purpose flowers, etc.) and also saved us money by letting us borrow some things that she had already had such as gold chargers. The amount she was able to save us with vendor discounts, knowing what to ask the vendors, and letting us borrow stuff paid for about 1/3 of her cost alone. There are so many little things you don't think about on your wedding day (how are you going to do your hair/makeup while also directing vendors, checking on your venue setup, telling vendors parking/setup instructions? Do you really want to deal with cleaning up after the reception and making sure you have your table signage, veil, cake cutter, etc. when you have been up since the crack of dawn, all of your friends are going out after, and you are probably a little drunk?). With Ashley by your side you will only have to worry about one thing which is enjoying your day. In addition to helping us with our wedding, she also planned the rehearsal dinner with my mother-in-law all remotely since my mother-in-law lives in Dallas and THAT turned out awesome as well (so if you live out of state, but are having a wedding here Ashley is capable of that!!) If you want to have a great wedding that is not stressful and you want a day that you can enjoy and remember for the rest of your life-hire Ashley. If your budget allows for full planning I would highly recommend that service, but if your budget only allows for partial planning or something else it is still totally worth it! I don't remember how I found Ashley, but I consider it divine intervention that I did! She was an asset to the entire planning process - professional, poised, organized. She was an advocate for my vision and wishes with vendors. She shared fantastic recommendations (Jason at Avant Garde Impressions and Dalay Ket Designs - these three together are the dream team!!). I have a very busy schedule due to work and a schedule that is difficult to deal with, and Ashley was supportive and accommodating. I cannot say enough good things. She would be one of the best investments of your wedding planning process!!

If we could give 10 stars we would! We paid for a day of coordinator but we received a month of coordinator. Ashley's established relationships with other vendors (cake, catering, photographer) were crucial when it came to planning drop offs, pick ups, timeline etc. Ashley is organized, professional, calming, connected, affordable and not to mention BEAUTIFUL. Only regret was that we didn't hire her sooner. Ashley created timelines for us to distribute to our families and bridal parties. She reviewed all contracts and contacted all vendors to confirm drop offs, balances and any additional lose ends. Ashley gave our venue a push when we weren't getting responses on items that were important to us. She encouraged us to ask for a refund when something wasn't delivered as sold. She truly was our advocate not just the day of, but the month of our wedding and in the following days. Ashley's extensive lists ensure that nothing falls between the cracks. She has our highest recommendation and we wish her much success in her business as she is excellent at it!

We cannot get over how crucial Ashley was to ensuring our wedding weekend went smoothly. In the beginning I had to convince my fiancé that she would be worth it and I think he pulled me aside about a dozen times during our wedding to sing her praises and admit I was right. I had done a lot of the planning and organizing myself but it was so so nice to meet with someone else who shared in my excitement for all things wedding related. She gave some great feedback and tips leading up to the wedding on everything from room layout to guest etiquette, which really helped because planning can be overwhelming – even for a self-described planning nerd. We ran into a couple of snags throughout the weekend and Ashley handled them expertly – all while keeping me calm and our guests clueless to what was going on. I had an insane amount of confidence that she could handle any task or obstacle thrown our way. Apart from her professionalism, great taste, skill and overall amazing ability to handle an event, she's just a nice person. Her positivity is apparent from the moment you meet her and we really truly do not know what we would have done without her.

We were so grateful to have Ashley as our Day-of-Coordinator at our wedding at Bryn Du Mansion in Granville (8/15/15). She is everything you want on that day - someone calm and collected, organized, respectful of your families, friends and other vendors, and interested in the smallest details.
