The in-house event organization team can liaise with couples or their own personal planner. Catering can be provided by the talented staff of one of the many on-site restaurants. As the resort that places a premium on its guests’ satisfaction and relaxation, whatever couples wish for they are sure to find.
Your personalized wedding professional can assist you with a courtesy guest room block for your family and friends attending your wedding. Our resort consist of With 250 guest suites with eight unique room types that offer premium room amenities – free WiFi, flat screen TVs, room services, and select rooms with ocean view standing balconies – to our outdoor pool, restaurants and nightlife, Ashore Resort & Beach Club delivers upscale amenities on the oceanfront.
A comprehensive wedding and event team come along side of you to provide guidance during your planning process from arranging in-house catering services to crafting your custom floor plan and so much more; their goal is to ensure your entire experience is personalized and unique to your vision.
CUISINE:
The Resort's executive chef and culinary team are passionate about making sure the food and drinks are exceptional the most important day in your lives. They combine style, flavor, and impeccable execution with every dish they create. You will have a private tasting with our food and beverage team months prior to wedding. Your custom dinner package can be served as a buffet, plated or stations.

Hello!
It’s pretty easy to pinpoint where my love of entertaining and caring for people came from. I had a great grandmother who lived and breathed hospitality. She possessed no degrees or education but out of her being flowed creating memorable experiences. She was a woman who loved to cook and entertain and every person that sat around our well set dinner table felt they were a part of our family. Little did I know that that my childhood and young adult life would be taking shape by her example for such a time as this.
My love of organization and planning has followed me forever, and always carried over into my work. My roots in event planning started in a historical boutique property that led me to a large corporate hotel in Ocean City, MD. I took a step away from event planning for 4 years and lead a non profit for women and children. This experience only deepened my love for caring for human needs. After this season I took the Director of Catering position a branded hotel in lower DE where over the last 5 years I was a part of planning over 125 weddings. I now have the privilege and honor of calling Ashore Resort my new home as the Director of Catering where many memories will be created and new friendships will be formed with incredible couples like yourself.
As a wedding and events planner, I’ve been able to sharpen my passion for helping clients create truly fantastic experiences. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing my services made lasting memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. I received numberous awards in my field such as, Best Wedding Planner in Sussex County by Coastal Style and the CARE Award recipiant by TKo Hospitality.
What really makes my heart beat? My love for my 5 children, adoring husband, 2 crazy dogs, 25 chickens and 3 ducks! And, my love for gardening and second hand shopping.
