Ashton Depot Catering + Events

We had our replanned, small wedding at a private venue and used Ashton Depot for catering. What an amazing, whirlwind experience that they made so comforting and smooth. It was a drastic change in plans from our original wedding and we could not have asked for a better plan B. Miguel was so calm and welcoming (he held the door for me so I could walk down the aisle..if that’s not service from the heart I don’t know what is), Robin ensured I was hydrated (which was such a life saver), and each person from the staff was genuine and professional. Everyone raved over the menu and signature cocktails…the late-night snacks were a huge hit and would recommend to anyone planning a party! My only complaint: we can’t go back in time and do it again!

We had our February 2020 wedding reception at Ashton Depot and could not be happier with our choice! They were the only venue we looked at and we were sold immediately. Everybody was amazing to work with from our initial tour to our tasting to the night of. It looked absolutely beautiful. At the reception, they not only took care of me and my husband, but also our parents. My FIL even apologized to my husband's BIL for not having a butler for his parents at their wedding! We chose to do food stations and the hardest part was narrowing it down! We wish we could have eaten more of it! They did make sure my husband and I got a plate during cocktail hour but we were too excited to eat very much. Everybody raved about the food and drinks as well (our signature cocktails were the pomegranate margarita and TX Whiskey Smash). The staff was super responsive and accommodating leading up to the wedding with our last minute changes to the guest count. They also let us have until the very last minute to decide whether or not to tent the courtyard (we decided not to and the weather ended up perfect). We could not recommend them more!

The Ashton Depot was truly a five star wedding experience. The staff were happy to work with us and experts in their field. They were flexible and offered us many options to make our big day one of a kid. The food, drinks, decorations, organization, and service was amazing. Our reception went flawlessly, our staff catered to our needs (bride and groom) as well as all of our parents' needs all night long, and made our night truly magical. It was an honor to work with this business and I would highly recommend hosting your wedding reception here. You will not be disappointed.

The Ashton Depot was an incredible space for my wedding reception! The food was amazing and my guests still rave about it today! Chef Cesar was extremely accommodating and made changes based on our feedback at our tasting. The venue itself is stunning and easily customizable to fit any wedding esthetic. I do not have enough positive things to say about this venue! We worked with both and Ashley and Cathy leading up to the event-super accessible by email or phone, very flexible, and were super helpful! The venue is not only beautiful, but is located in a great spot in Fort Worth. The food is OUTSTANDING-our guests are still raving about their ribeye and scallops! The service the day of the wedding really makes this feel like the formal event I wanted...synchronized plating by the waiters, valet, personal butler for the bride and groom, etc. Miguel worked on all things logistics and was also very present the day of the wedding to make sure things ran smoothly. My other vendors all made comments to me about how much they enjoyed working with Ashton Depot. I would recommend this venue to anyone if you are looking for a beautiful, fun, stress-free wedding day!

We just had our wedding in November at the Ashton Depot. They exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we were exploring venues, to the end of the night I was treated like I was their only responsibility. All of my guests commented on the actual building, the service, and their overall experience. The chef is absolutely incredible. His demeanor is delightful and his food is life changing. We were able to sit down and customize the menu and cater it to specific needs of our guests. I wish I could relive that night everyday. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue.

The Ashton Depot is the best wedding venue in Fort Worth! Not only because it is a GORGEOUS venue, but because of the team that works there. They do everything they can to make sure your wedding is elegant and beautiful. They go above and beyond. My wedding day ended up being colder than expected, so they threw in an extra heater outside and hot chocolate to be passed around to the guests. So amazing!! Ashlee is the General Manager and her mom started the venue. Ashlee is amazing to work with!! She is so nice and truly cares about your special day. The venue itself is stunning. Doesn't need much decor because it is beautiful as is! It was built in the late 1800s and still has the original floors, windows, and doors. I wish I could post a picture with this review! Miguel helped manage our wedding day and it was his idea to add the extra items to keep my guests warm! Everyone on the team is amazing. Chef Cesar creates the best tasting food and is willing to customize the menu however you like. I did a brunch wedding and he let me add my request of chocolate chip pancakes! I highly recommend this wedding venue.

We're so glad we found the Ashton Depot for our wedding reception. What we liked most is that they provide full service, so we didn't have to rent many things from other vendors. They were friendly and the venue is gorgeous!

The Ashton Depot is a beautifully restored train depot in the heart of Fort Worth that is an extraordinary venue for hosting an event. We had our wedding reception there last month, and we have nothing but good things to say about Ashlee, Chef Cesar, and their team! The people at the Ashton Depot are professionals that know their industry inside and out. Their remarkable customer service from the initial tour and planning to the final tasting and execution of the final event puts them above and beyond the other venues in the area. All their suggestions when we needed help or advice made the planning process go so smoothly and made our night truly special. Not to mention, the venue included all the little things you need to pull off a great event (tables, Chiavari chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware) in their packages without having to coordinate an endless list of vendors which saved us a lot of headache. Finally, you can't talk about Ashton Depot without mentioning the outstanding food. Chef Cesar takes such pride in his food, and it really comes through in the taste and presentation of his dishes. All our guests raved about how good the food was! If you're looking for a venue with unique history, superior customer service, exceptional food, or simply good people to work with, look no further than the Ashton Depot. I have every confidence that they will make your event one to remember!

I absolutely LOVED Ashton Depot for our wedding. Everyone was immensely helpful and the day could not have been more perfect. All of our guests STILL talk about how incredibly delicious the food was (18 months later!), how beautiful the space was, and how delightful the staff was. My husband and I had our reception here in December of 2018. Since we decided to get married on a Wednesday morning (lots of logistical reasons, after Christmas), the venue rental fee (including chairs, linens, setup, etc) was $650. You CANNOT find that anywhere, let alone a place this stunning. We had a brunch wedding reception with a brass quintet and incredible NY strip chicken fried steak, waffles, pastries, hashbrowns, sweet potatoes, white cheddar biscuits, hot chocolate bar, coffee bar, etc for about 140 people. The whole bill for the venue and food was around 8K. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!

Of course I am probably biased, but seriously the Ashton Depot is the most gorgeous venue in Fort Worth. The historic charm, marbled floors, stained glass and chandeliers are so dreamy. Not to mention that their food and service is absolutely to die for. Bride and groom have a day of butler who takes care of you, makes sure you're able to eat and drink during the reception. The chef is a rockstar!! My guests are still raving about how amazing the tenderloin and synchronized plated service was. Ashton Depot is worth every penny for how professional they are, and the high standard that they keep for service and quality of the food they serve. Our ceremony and reception were perfect here - so glad we chose the depot!!

Our Granddaughter got married on New Years Eve. The weather had turned bad and the ceremony at the T&P was a total debacle. We arrived at The Ashton and I cannot begin to tell you how perfect the entire evening was. The service was impeccable. The food was amazing. And the decor beautiful. It was indeed a fairy tale reception. Thank you so much for a stress free evening after a rather rough start at another venue.

I really don't know what to say without sounding like I'm gushing, but Ashton Depot and their staff could not have been any better for my daughter's wedding and reception. The space is historic and beautiful, the staff is professional, responsive and fun to work with, the food is absolutely knocks your socks off and the amount of service provided is unbelievable. I can't say enough good things about Ashton Depot and hope I have the opportunity to be invited there in the future for an event so I can experience it again!

I have always wanted to have my wedding reception at the Ashton Depot and it was everything I hoped for and more! It was a fantastic evening and we have received so much positive feedback from our guests about the food, service and over all feel of the evening. The food was so good and the servers were so impressive with their coordinated service. Cathy and the staff we worked with are fantastic and so helpful through the process! I highly recommend the Ashton Depot for weddings and other events!

Everyone at the depot was a pleasure to work with. The food was amazing and everyone complimented that and the beautiful setting. They took care of all of our needs.

You will not find better food anywhere. Chef Cesar is very talented and everything was beyond delicious. This venue is fairly pricey, but they provide everything and like I said the food was amazing, so I felt it was worth it. We married on a Sunday so we only had half the food and beverage minimum as on a Saturday. Would also recommend a daytime reception and this will help your cost and the food will still be amazing. The service during the event was great and the staff was very helpful to my parents during the clean up. The only complaint I have is that I was a bit frustrated with my contact at the venue and felt she wasn't always on top of things. Felt like I had to constantly remind her about things we had discussed. But in the end everything was sorted out and turned out great!

The Ashton Depot was the perfect venue for our wedding. Not only is the space unique and beautiful, many amenities are offered as part of the package. Cindy was a great help during the planning process and Miguel ran the event expertly. We also received tons of compliments on the food and the synchronized service. The guests loved it!

Words can not describe how pleased we were with Ashton Depot. It was simply amazing!

The Ashton Depot was an absolutely amazing venue! We looked at five other venues in the Fort Worth downtown area, and Ashton was the last stop. We walked in and our (mom, dad, now-husband) jaws collectively dropped. We had a fairly small wedding at about 90 guests, and Ashton could not have been more accomodating. We called it the easy button, because so many things are included. The food (which could not have been more delicious- saw people going back for thirds!), booze and drinks (including a signature drink in our wedding colors), linens, tables, and chiavari chairs were all included. We also had a day of coordinator, who we had worked with the entire time, and a butler who met every need we had the day of the wedding. That includes playing defense so we could eat, getting us drinks (we never had to stop by the bar), and getting us food. I did not believe the The Ashton Depot would be in our budget, but by having the wedding on a Friday night it was! Could not have been a more beautiful, or easier venue to work with. Every phone call and e-mail was returned prompty, and they dealt with our constant questions in the sweetest manner. They could not have made the wedding easier to plan, and I could not recommend them more!

We held our wedding reception at The Ashton Depot in April 2013 and had the most wonderful experience!!! ALL of our guests commented on the beauty of the venue, and were blown away by the butler service, food, and just the atmosphere of the entire evening!! Our wedding even coordinator Aimee was a delight to work with!! She was more than willing to go above and beyond any expectations to fulfill any requests we had prior to the wedding, and to make us feel so comfortable on the day of the wedding that everything was taken care of. She made us feel so special on our big day - she was just amazing! The maitre'd of the evening was fantastic!! He made such a wonderful impression on our guests, and his right hand man, our personal butler, was so attentive and polite, I really enjoyed working with them both for the evening. Both gentlemen were attentive and professional, and it was their leadership of the schedule for the evening that created the perfect atmosphere for everyone to relax and have a wonderful time. The venue left everyone amazed, and the spotlight final dance with just my husband and I was such a special moment, I get butterflies just thinking about it. We recommend having a band in the space because the acoustics are awesome. We also did the plated meal and would recommend choosing this option as well to really "wow" your guests with the table side service. The food was DELICIOUS. Two weeks after the wedding we are still hearing from guests that it was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding, and possible one of the best meals they have had out, ever!! Truly top notch catering, and the tasting was so much fun! We had a cigar roller out on the patio, which was a beautiful area that we also recommend taking advantage of, weather permitting. We HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend choosing The Ashton Depot for your reception!! Aimee & her staff are friendly, professional, and experts at creating the best day of your lives, and making you feel like a VIP throughout the whole process!
